VEEP DEBATE

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW......

.......About tonight's Vice Presidential debate.

1. Romney and Ryan would eliminate health care for 31 million people who are poor or disabled. Medicaid, which helps poor Americans, some seniors, and children afford health care, is right in the crosshairs of Paul Ryan’s House budget. He proposed cutting $1.4 trillion from the program, a move that would kick about 11 million people off Medicaid over the course of ten years. The Romney-Ryan plan is even worse, and is estimated to force about 44 million people off the program.

2. Ryan considers Social Security a “Ponzi Scheme.” In the Fall of 2011, Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) called Social Security a “Ponzi scheme,” and Paul Ryan agreed. Ryan wants to privatize the program.

3. 62% of Ryan’s budget cuts come from programs that benefit low-income Americans. Ryan’s budget proposes “$5.3 trillion in nondefense budget cuts.” 62 percent of the reductions would come from programs that specifically help low-income Americans:

4. Ryan voted for future defense cuts he now blames on Obama. Though Ryan claims Obama somehow orchestrated the sequester, a series of across-the-board spending cuts triggered if Congress can’t produce a better plan, the VP pick himself was a supporter of the mechanism. Not only did he vote for legislation to establish it, he peddled the plan to his Republican colleagues and proposed a similar initiative in 2004.

5. Ryan and Romney cannot cut taxes across the board by 20% and lower the deficit because it’s mathematically impossible. Ryan claims they will achieve these twin goals by closing loopholes and getting rid of deductions for the rich. But, as the Tax Policy Center points out, even if they got rid of every single deduction and loophole, they would still need to find more revenue. That means they’d need to start raising taxes on the middle class.

6. Ryan voted to increase the debt ceiling by $4 trillion under Bush. During the Bush years alone, Ryan voted with his party’s leadership to increase the debt ceiling by $4 trillion. In total, he has voted six times to raise the debt ceiling, increasing it by $5.8 trillion.

7. Ryan wants to kick 1 million students off of Pell Grants. As part of his budget, Ryan proposed cutting Pell Grants for nearly 1 million college students. Seventy four percent of Pell Grant recipients in 2011 came from families with incomes of $30,000 or less. There is no evidence that these cuts will curb rising college costs.

8. Ryan’s budget included the same $716 billion in Medicare savings included in Obamacare. The $716 billion that Obamacare takes out of Medicare will almost definitely come up in tomorrow’s debate. Ryan has claimed that Obama “raided” Medicare to pay for his health care reform. In fact, Ryan wants to make Medicare a voucher program and proposed taking the same cuts out of Medicare in his budget. But whereas Obamacare uses those funds to eliminate fraud and increase efficiency, Ryan proposed taking that money to pay down the deficit.

9. Ryan supported economic stimulus under Bush. If he’s going to follow the lead of his running mate, Ryan will invoke Obama’s stimulus plan, the Recovery Act, as failed legislation that wasted taxpayer money. But when George Bush was president, Ryan was supportive of a stimulus, and actually made a rousing case for infusing the economy with money, saying that it helped create jobs. Watch it:

10. Ryan used to supports a key aspect of Obamacare. Ryan will likely say at the debate that the Affordable Care Act is government overreach. In fact, he might even invoke “death panels,” as he has done at recent town halls. But Ryan proposed something extremely similar to these so-called “death panels” in 2009 — twice. In December of 2010, Ryan also asked the Department of Health and Human Services for an Obamacare health care grant “for the Kenosha Community Health Center, Inc to develop a new facility in Racine, Wisconsin, an area within Ryan’s district.”

11. Ryan opposes abortion access for rape victims. When it comes to abortion rights, Ryan is among the most extreme anti-abortion members of Congress. He believes rape victims shouldn’t have access to abortions and co-sponsored a “personhood” amendment that would have defined a fertilized egg as a human, thus outlawing not just abortion but also in-vitro fertilization and some forms of contraception.

12. Ryan supports a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage. Ryan is vehemently opposed to marriage equality for same-sex couples. He has twice voted to amend the constitution to that effect, supported a same-sex marriage ban in his home state, and claimed that preventing same-sex couples from getting married was a “universal human value.”

HUSTED, WE HAVE A PROBLEM

Radical Tea Bagger Jon Husted Voter Suppression Leader

Remember if you have an historically accurate knowledge of our founding fathers, rather then the usual tea bagger romantic one, where only white men, who are over 21 and who owned property could vote.

This was the Founding Fathers "principles". But we’ve grown and changed as a country, well most of us that is.

Now enter NFTOS' worst person in the world for the day- Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted (R) whom wants to take his State backwards to the 1700's, you know when white pasty racist men trolled the country.

Husted’s office has been flooded with criticism over his directive limiting voting hours in spite of requests from multiple election boards to stay open on weekends. He’s was also in hot water with a federal judge after he resisted a court order to restore voting hours on the last weekend before Election Day — although Husted ultimately backed down  after the judge ordered him to appear in court.

John Husted, not just a cheat, but a gutless cheat. Pity the State of Ohio Readers.

Not only have they suffered self-inflicted wounds from various polls and legislation, the State has now become a poster child for idiots in office, starting with its uber-governor, John Kasich.

Tea Baggers unit, and it would seem they are alive and well within this otherwise beautiful and friendly state.

John Husted screwed over the whole state as a legislator. Not once, but twice. No, make that three times. It must be his boyish charismatic charm.

The first time? Husted was leading the legislature when he torpedoed a steel mill investment that would have brought thousands of jobs to Ohio.

The second? Husted, as a fool-fledged, Catholic member of the Tea Bagger Troup of morons, decided to protect the Church instead of the hundreds of victims of childhood sexual abuse by priests.

The third? In order to protect the white vote, he decided to screw minorities, working women, and liberals, cutting back on access to the voting booths.

This was too much for even our conservative Federal Courts. The District court judge ruled last Friday that Husted's clearly partisan orders were not legal. But hold the phone, Husted is not yet done being an asshat- as of yesterday, Husted appealed a ruling that reinstates the final three early voting days in the battleground state, calling a decision last week by a federal appeals court "an unprecedented intrusion" into how states run elections.

It's simple readers, the GOP cannot win on the tea party ideology. It is extremely unpopular with the vast majority of people. The only way that this radical ideology shall prevail is if you limit those who are against it from voting. Husted is clearly using delay tactics to impede voters' rights pure and simple!

Husted is a tool of the GOP, but mistakenly believes he is their rising star [like Scott "koch whore" walker] . He does what the operatives tell him to do in exchange for the next political office.

It is now clear readers that Secretary of State Jon Husted will stop at nothing to deny Ohioans full and equal access to the polls.

Secretary of State Jon Husted, today's worst person in the world!

Mittastrophe, The Magical Mystery Tour

Mittastrophe, The Magical Mystery Tour

One has to admire Mitt Romney’s chutzpah, even if it has meant he has already false-footed every stop on his magical mystery tour. The below clips take a closer look at how it has been going on Romney’s magical mystery tour thus far.

Lunacy, buffoonery, insanity. These are just some of the words used from friendly fire - tea baggers united have used this vernacular to describe Mitt Romney's recent pre-Presidential practice speeches. Charles Krauthammer, Fixed Noise icon, who is rarely at a loss for words, called Mitt's many hoof in mouth statements unbelievable, incomprehensible, and beyond human understanding. He basically ran out of adjectives.

NFTOS will let the clips speak for themselves.

Apart from showing us that he is one of the good ol' boys, Mitt raises the possibility that anyone can be President, even if it is a virtual candidate, not to be taken seriously, but someone whose campaign is a roving ATM machine sucking up Citizens United cash. He is a joke of a candidate, who was designed to fail, while laughing all the way to the bank. Typical CEO stuff - in that sense of a bumbling stumbling ignorant troglodyte, there's nothing weirdly magical about Mitt nor his policies, except maybe his underwear.

TEA BAGGERS AND CRIMINAL CONSPIRACY

Tea bagger Catherine Engelbrecht Under Investigation For Voter Suppression

The Tea Party organization launching a multi-pronged voter suppression effort this election is under investigation by Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) for a possible “criminal conspiracy to deny legitimate voters their constitutional rights.”

Cummings sent a letter to True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht warning her that the Ohio branch of the group, in suing to throw thousands of students, trailer park residents, homeless people and African Americans off the voting rolls, may be violating the law:
At some point, an effort to challenge voter registrations by the thousands without any legitimate basis may be evidence of illegal voter suppression. If these efforts are intentional, politically motivated and widespread across multiple states, they could amount to a criminal conspiracy to deny legitimate voters their constitutional rights.

True the Vote released a statement affirming their support for the Ohio voter purge advocates on Monday:
True the Vote stands by the well-intentioned efforts of these citizens and is disgusted by the attempts of some within government and media to warp what should have been a simple, legal process into a calculated partisan charade.

The most radical voter suppression efforts — including voter ID laws, voter purges, gerrymandered districts and restrictions on voter registration — have been killed in the courts or delayed till after the election. In many cases, judges concluded that minorities would be disproportionately affected by these efforts. Indeed, an analysis of the failed voter purge in Texas, True the Vote’s home state, found that African American and Latino names were much more likely to be flagged for removal, and African American districts received more letters questioning their eligibility to vote than any other districts.

Rather than rely solely on these initiatives, True the Vote is also mobilizing a national network of volunteer poll watchers to challenge and intimidate voters on Election Day. In light of the misinformation and questionable tactics disseminated in these volunteer trainings, Rep. Cummings is seeking “the data you have been using to challenge voter registrations, the training you have been providing volunteers to conduct these activities, and the manner in which you have been determining where to deploy your resources in select jurisdictions.”

Catherine Engelbrecht, "todays worst person in the world"!

JOB TRUTHER: DEATH TO THE GOP TALKING POINT

New Jobless Rate Shatters Four-Year Talking Point for Romney, GOP

Playing with the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ numbers is serious stuff, especially for a sitting President. This is something out of the annuls of Richard M. Nixon.

A cadre of conservatives from Jack Welch to Allen West are crying conspiracy over Friday’s good economic news, accusing the White House of cooking the books to boost President Barack Obama’s prospects for reelection.

FACT:
The national unemployment rate is calculated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a nonpartisan agency composed of career economists and statisticians that currently employees zero political appointees.

The agency is typically directed by an appointee — the only appointed position in the entire organization — but that seat has sat vacant since Bush-pick Keith Hall left in January when his term expired

Any person in their right mind would feel thrilled with October 5th’s Department of Labor report, which states that 114,000 private sector jobs were created in September, and the unemployment rate has decreased to 7.8%. Unfortunately — as progressives have learned the hard way — much of the opposition is unlettered and bat shit crazy.

During the first Presidential debate, Romney declared, “We’ve had 43 straight months with unemployment above 8 percent.” Romney won’t be able to repeat that zinger when he and Obama face off again in two weeks.

Nor can Romney disparage the president for presiding over a term of net employment loss. Romney lost that line late last month when the latest Bureau of Labor Statistics data showed that Obama is net positive for job creation, even after accounting for the president’s first few months in office, when the economy was still hemorrhaging hundreds of thousands of jobs a month because of the Bush-era recession.

To be sure, unemployment is too high and economic growth too slow to quickly knock the unemployment rate down to the traditional “full employment” rate of about 5 percent. But any balanced look at today’s report and at economic improvements in recent years suggest that the 2009 stimulus, the successful auto industry rescue, and landmark financial regulatory reform, have put the economy on a firm path to full recovery.

Next thing you know, Mitt Romney will have Bain Capital fire even more workers at Bain-owned companies so the employment numbers look worse - even though he has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning the presidency.

THE COMMON SENSE TEST

                                The Common Sense Test

                                 By Thomas Vanderbilt

For months my republican friends have been telling me Romney knows business, he’ll get things moving in the right direction. Okay, so I went into the first debate thinking here’s your chance Gov. Romney. Sell me on why you know better than the President. I’m open-minded; convince me you’re the man for the job.

Forget rhetoric; tell me in simple eighth grade language, the kind my tea bagger friend’s use, what your plan is to stimulate the economy. Well I got my answer: lowering the income tax rate. Simple! Clean! Elegant! Even a caveman understands that lowering the rate means more money in his pocket. More money means I have more to spend. After all, almost 70% of the economy is consumer spending.

While processing and contemplating the Governors comments' the Gov. then continued to explain that he wouldn’t add to the deficit, which is another great concern of mine. Hey, maybe I was wrong about Mitt? Maybe he is the real deal! The governor said he would lower the tax rate and be budget neutral by eliminating certain deductions. BAM! Take that Mr. President! I mean how hard is it to lower taxes and cut deductions?

Then I thought about it. You’re going to lower the tax rate but be budget neutral? What does that mean? How will that help? I don’t know about you, but the last time I looked at my paycheck, I paid my federal taxes in US dollars not US percentage points.

What loopholes are you going to close? If I’m paying the same amount of tax dollars, how will I have more to spend? Someone was lying right to my face and it wasn't my POTUS. Sure Mitt looked and sounded Presidential, but I’m missing something, because I still don’t have the facts I need to see how this is going to work out.

Maybe Mitt did well last night; at least according to all the talking heads, and it all sounded good. That is, until you ponder it some more. Wow, a lie a minute, almost. If Mitt won, we’ve lost!

Mitt Romney’s plan fails my common sense test and should fail yours too. You sure looked like a successful businessman governor; maybe Bain Capital needs its CEO back? Try them for a new job. I maybe open-minded, but I’m no schmuck.

TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH

Once you peel back the layers you shall see Mittens has truth issuse

Polling sources say the verdict is in, and the jury says Mitt Romney handily won last night’s debate, and did what he needed to do to have a fighting chance at winning the election. But what he didn’t do, predictably, was tell the truth.

Romney’s debate performance was chock full of lies, recalling his running mate’s address to the GOP convention, which was also chock full of lies. Hopefully, just as Ryan’s address was dissected and debunked by some media outlets, Romney’s claims are as well, so the debate can move to substantive issues instead of stylistic ones.

Peeling back the layers of Mitts pomp and circumstances last night revels, that on facts Mitt loses horribly, and here are ten of Romney’s fact-challenged claims from last night:

1. An ‘Unelected Board’ Controlling Your Health Care

Despite President Obama trying to push back on this lie, Romney made this claim a few times last night. Obamacare, according to Romney, “puts in place an unelected board that's going to tell people ultimately what kind of treatments they can have.” In reality, as the Associated Press points out , the board that is tasked with bringing down Medicare costs is prohibited from “rationing care, shifting costs to retirees, restricting benefits or raising the Medicare eligibility age. So the board doesn't have the power to dictate to doctors what treatments they can prescribe.” This Romney claim also hearkened back to Sarah Palin’s lie that Obamacare created “death panels,” which was a straight up lie.

2. A Bipartisan Record

Romney referred to his alleged “bipartisan” record in Massachusetts as governor during the debate. But what’s the real story on this? ABC News calls the claim “not quite factual.” Indeed: Romney’s health care plan was enacted with the help of a Democratic legislature. But in general, the body was “frustrated” with Romney “because he wanted to govern like a ‘CEO’ and ‘didn’t pay heed to the legislature and they resented that,’” according to the Massachusetts Taxpayer Foundation’s Michael Widmer.

3. Dodd-Frank Labels Banks as ‘Too Big to Fail’

One contrast between the candidates that emerged during the debate was over Dodd-Frank, the weak Wall Street reforms and regulations passed after the 2008 financial collapse. Romney wants to repeal Dodd-Frank, and part of the reason why is his claim that the bill designates banks as “too big to fail” and therefore gives them “a blank check.” But as ThinkProgress notes, this is far from the truth: “the law merely says that the biggest, systemically risky banks need to abide by more stringent regulations . If those banks fail, they will be unwound by a new process in the Dodd-Frank law that protects taxpayers from having to pony up for a bailout.”

4. Obamacare Leads to Loss of Healthcare

Governor Romney claimed that the passage of the Affordable Care Act will lead to 20 million people losing health insurance. He based this claim on a Congressional Budget Office report. But according to PolitiFact, Romney “cherry picked” the CBO report and mislead viewers on why people would “lose” coverage.

PolitiFact’s final verdict on the claim is: “That number is cherry-picked, and he’s wrong to describe it as only including people who ‘like’ their coverage, since many of those 20 million will be leaving employer coverage voluntarily for better options. Romney also ignores that under the status quo, many more people today ‘lose’ coverage than even the highest, cherry-picked CBO estimate. We rate his statement False.”

5. The Failure of the Obama Economy

Romney hammered Obama on the economy’s performance over the past four years. One claim Romney made was this: “[We have] 23 million people out of work...The proof of that is that 50 percent of college graduates this year can't find work.”

But here’s the AP breakdown of the facts on this claim: “The number of unemployed is 12.5 million, not 23 million. Romney was also counting 8 million people who are working part time but would like a full-time job and 2.6 million who have stopped looking for work, either because they are discouraged or because they are going back to school or for other reasons.”

And on the college graduate claim, Romney was also wrong. Back to the AP: “A Northeastern University analysis for The Associated Press found that a quarter of graduates were probably unemployed and another quarter were underemployed, which means working in jobs that didn't make full use of their skills or experience.”

6. Obamacare Cuts Billions From Medicare

This was one of Romney’s favorite attack lines last night: the notion that the Affordable Care Act is siphoning off funds from Medicare. The specific claim is that $716 billion was cut from Medicare because of the Affordable Care Act. In reality, this claim is highly misleading. What the number refers to is money that is saved “primarily through reducing over-payments to insurance companies under Medicare Advantage, not payments to beneficiaries. Paul Ryan’s budget plan keeps those same cuts , but directs them toward tax cuts for the rich and deficit reduction,” ThinkProgress notes.

7. Gas Prices Increase

Romney said that “gasoline prices have doubled under the president. Electric rates are up.” This is true--but to blame it on the president is highly misleading. Gasoline prices have little to do with individual policies carried out by a president. Instead, as the Associated Press states, “Gasoline prices are set on financial exchanges around the world and are based on a host of factors, most importantly the price of crude oil used to make gasoline, the amount of finished gasoline ready to be shipped and the capacity of refiners to make enough to meet market demand.”

The AP also skewers Romney’s claim on electric rates going up: “Retail electricity prices have risen since Obama took office — barely. They've grown by an average of less than 1 percent per year, less than the rate of inflation and slower than the historical growth in electricity prices. The unexpectedly modest rise in electricity prices is because of the plummeting cost of natural gas, which is used to generate electricity.”

8. Health Care Costs Rising Under Obama

Romney’s made this statement on the campaign trail--and if it was wrong then, it’s wrong now. Last night, Romney claimed that “health care costs have gone up by $2500 a family.”

But FactCheck.org was on this false claim back when Romney used it on the campaign trail in September. Their take: “Romney says health insurance premiums have gone up $2,500 under Obama. The actual increase has been $1,700, most of which was absorbed by employers and only a small part of which is attributable to the health care law.”

9. Oil and Gas Production Increases Only on Private Land

The former Massachusetts governor said last night that “all of the increase in natural gas and oil has happened on private land...Your Administration has cut the numbers of permit and licenses in half.”

But ABC News says Romney is playing loose with the facts. Data from the Bureau of Land Management shows that “the number of drilling permits on federal lands approved during the fiscal years President Obama has been in office has decreased somewhere between 20 and 37 percent compared to the years before he became president - not the 50 percent Romney claimed.”

10. No Tax Cuts for the Rich

To fend off the perception that he’s only concerned about the wealthy, Romney made sure to emphasize that his economic plan would not lower tax rates on rich people.

Think Progress has the details on that claim: “If Romney were to actually implement his plan to reduce tax rates by 20 percent while eliminating tax deductions in order to pay for it, taxpayers with more than $200,000 would certainly see a tax cut. But everyone else — 95 percent of Americans —will see their taxes increase.”

I have spent two and half years blogging, trying to rile the Democrats to get a backbone, to find their testicle fortitude, to verbally bitch slap the radical righties of our world into submission, and yet POTUS played the nice guy. Having debated often in my life, a passive debater loses his ass 100% of the time.

Not once did POTUS mention Bain Capitol, nor did he mention the 47%. Completely unacceptable! POTUS was trying to be nice man in a nasty mans game, Robme is a liar of epic proportions, Robme was on life support prior to the debate, he was one breath away from political death, and POTUS not only used the defibrillator, He made sure that Robme was upright and ventilated.

Unpacking the substance of Robme's message last night leaves us little doubt that he lies more than his companion, Paul "Lyin" Ryan. But a passive, 'nice" POTUS, or a POTUS unwilling to unleash the wrath on these two tools is political death by being a unprepared wimp. When debating, always assume your audience is dumber than a box of rocks, therefore it forces you to lay out all context of ones policy and weaknesses, never assume all Americans have heard of Bain Capitol nor the derogatory 47% comment, disclose everything!

This was just a bump in the road, and if voters truly see the facts for what they are, they shall see that Mittens puzzle pieces don't fit all together, that his math answers doesn't align with the formula he has laid out, that his modus operandi is to - "when you can't dazzle with brilliance, baffle with bullshit".

OCTOBER SURPRISE: GOP Just Learned That YouTube Has A Search Function.

Sean Hannity Exposes Years Old Video Equates to "Nontroversary"

Matt Drudge:
“@DRUDGE: Curious tape dropping tonight. NOT from MOTHERJONES. Will cause controversy, ignite accusations of racism -- in both directions!” tweeted at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday.
"The veneer stripped away revealing the hollowness and rot inside." says one "EOD" over at the dead Breitbart's website. If only this was the case. It's nothing Mitt, just go back to your zingers, Governor. Not Breaking news, as Hannity is showing old Obama footage.

Sean Hannity, The Daily Caller [Tucker "I snooker you" Carlson], and Drudge Report spent hours hyping a racially explosive secret video of President Obama. But the bombshell clip turned out to be a public speech from Hampton University on June 2007 that was covered by you know who [fixed noise] on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. 6:00 PM EST. It was also covered by other major networks.

Excerpts of the open press speech to historically black Hampton University were already easily available (and quickly discovered by reporters after Drudge teased the clip on his website hours before the “new” Daily Caller/Hannity clip even aired). But Daily Caller founder Tucker Carlson claimed the video was relevant because it contained additional ad-libbed portions that went off the prepared remarks.

Let's not forget readers, that Carlson is a sneaky diabolical shit from way back, on November 9, 2010 Huffington Post writer Jack Mirkinson exposed Carlson for sending emails while posing as another - that other, my mentor Keith Olbermann. Just Google Carlson with words like 'unethical" and "diabolical" and view the plethora of disgusting stories that pop up. For added enjoyment, go to YouTube and search ” Dangerous Conversation with Tucker Carlson" parts one, two, three an four.

Among the sinister revelations Drudge, Hannity, and Carlson cited: Obama’s use of what they considered an overly African-American cadence to his voice in front of the majority. “This accent is absurd. This is not the way Obama talks,” Carlson said on Faux. Drudge Report teased “THE ACCENT” [Maybe we should hand out free copies of Rosetta Stone] and “THE ANGER” as scoops.

"THE VIDEO"

If the Romney campaign isn't embarrassed by this, I know why they're losing. Let's take a moment of silence for the ostensibly self-aware Romney flaks who will have to answer questions about this video today. What's funny is the GOP is running the exact same campaign as 2008, and is now wondering how they can possibly be losing like in 2008. Maybe we should give Faux News a break. They've only had five years to figure out how to run against Obama.

What can we take away from this bomb shell one day before the first debate:

Desperate times call for desperate measures - Faux News, Drudge Report and The Daily Caller all are still full of more fecal matter than a Christmas Turkey.

Lessons Learned: Having your own media outlet isn't always helpful in elections where lots of people vote.

Hint to Sean, Matt and Tucker: It isn't "breaking" if it's been on YouTube for more than 96 hours.

On the scale of nontroversies, years old YouTube videos, are a step up from the birther stuff......I suppose. I honestly thought the GOP couldn't get any worse...guess what, we have been bamboozled again - to once again see that the bottom feeders still run rampant in the party of "know-nothings", the party of ignorance, the party that is aptly named, "The American Taliban".

AKIN PROBLEM

REPUBLICAN IDEOLOGY 101

Could the teapublican party face an impossible Catch-22 when it comes to excising the crazy from their party? This is a party, after all, that has numerous candidates who are running for office on a platform of ending the direct election of senators. It’s a party whose most prominent voice in the media goes around calling women “sluts,” and one with a Senate candidate who talks nonsense about the biology of rape. Most notably, it’s a party with a presidential candidate who simply parrots back the party’s conventional wisdom (47 percent!) — who sounds totally out of touch and which is very insulting to most voters. So what’s next?

One month removed after banning Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin from their national convention, teapublican leaders are welcoming him back with open arms, his trespasses forgiven, if awkwardly unforgotten. Led by RNC chair Reince Priebus, whose stoical about-face on the issue has been worthy of the royal guard, members of the GOP top brass are gradually stepping forward, one by one, to say that the interests of the nation are now such that it is important to elect Todd Akin to the Senate - all the bad and rather unfortunate things that were said about the man last month notwithstanding

The American Taliban/GOP wants you to think Missouri Senate candidate Todd "legitimate rape" Akin is some totally "out there" guy, but his policies are practically identical to the rest of his party - to include Romney/Ryan.

Many GOPers defected away from Akin when he mentioned the not so infamous "womens bodies can reject a rapist sperm" - then reality set in, that being that, hey we do believe this, and most importantly - that for the GOP to throw in the towel on the Missouri Senate seat, as the party's national leaders once appeared to be doing, would probably mean losing the Senate.

Akins legitimate rape statement implies two things. One, if a woman claims to be raped and gets pregnant she is lying. Secondly, he implies there are ‘legitimate” rapes and also other kinds of rapes.

The rape comment is not the only “Akinism.” In the last couple days, Akin suggested that businesses should be allowed to pay women less than men as a matter of “freedom.” At a recent rally a man asked him, “You voted against the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act. Why do you think it is okay for a woman to be paid less for doing the same work as a man?
Akin said he didn’t support the idea that government should be telling people what you pay and what you don’t pay. Akin added, I think it’s about freedom. If someone what’s to hire somebody and they agree on a salary, that’s fine, however it wants to work. So, the government sticking its nose into all kinds of things has gotten us into huge trouble.

The American Taliban has a severe problem. The very fact that they are sneaking back in to support Akin means they support his extremism. Teapublicans have always been hypocritical and insincere - at best douche bags, at worst Aleister Crowley's in disguise.

This about face is both predictable and worthy of NFTOS "worst persons in the world' award. Akin's trespasses have been forgiven. Best case scenario is that the teapublicans think winning a Senate seat is better than having principles, more disgustingly, they all secretly agreed with Akin at the time, and were just pretending to be outraged. Lets assume that one has been living under a rock on Mars for the last 40 years - then one could assume it's the former.

The resurgence of support for Todd Akin’s U.S. Senate campaign proves, at least among the current crop of teapublican leaders, that “enlightenment … is very narrowly dispersed.”

By reversing their decision to withdraw their support of Akin, teapublican leaders are putting partisan gain ahead of Akin’s warped views of a woman’s reproductive process — and exposes a level of political dishonesty that’s more insidious than that of Democrats who dragged Scopes into a courtroom in 1925.

NATHAN SPROUL

NATHAN SPROUL GOP VOTER FRAUD MAN OF THE YEAR

The election fraud we told you about on Friday's blog includes some pretty serious allegations about the voter registration fraud being perpetrated by Republican-paid people, and there's a history of unethical practices by one Nathan Sproul.

Let it be known, none of the voter ID laws that The American Taliban has been pushing lately would have stopped anything like this. It's time for Fux Ewes, Faux News or whatever they're called today to air the error of their parties ways.

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Denial is not the only river in Egypt. ThinkProgress covered Sproul and his work for the coal industry back in 2009. The post goes through his greatest hits, including evidence that his firm systematically suppressed Democratic voters on behalf of the Bush-Cheney 2004 presidential team and deceiving voters during registration drives in 2006.

Don’t forget that Nathan Sproul got his start in the early ’90s as one of the ringleaders of the Arizona branch of the Christian Coalition. If that doesn’t brand him as a Kool-Aid drinker, I don’t know what will.

Sproul has a pathological history of voter fraud allegations, this is not his first nor shall it be his last, unless he is found guilty of these felonies. He has been accused of tampering with Democratic voter registration forms over several election cycles across multiple states. Nathan Sproul, today's worst person in the world, and American's number one committer of voter fraud.

VOTER FRAUD, AND IT'S NOT WHO YOU THINK IT IS

GOP IN TWO STATES CAUGHT COMMITTING VOTER FRAUD

Caution, when in doubt, always assume a camera is watching you! Two stories below that illustrate true voter fraud, and it's not whom we have been led to believe it is.

For months the GOP has enacted laws to suppress the voters. Maybe they should look know further than their own kind!

PALM BEACH FLORIDA

Nathan Sproul has been hired by Bush, McCain and Romney. He's been implicated in kickbacks to secure a billion dollar contract to run charter schools and learning centers. His dubious past includes allegations of election fraud when his employees tore up voter registration forms filled out by Democrats.

Republicans who have decided they can't win unless they cheat. Sproul is "credited" with many less than ethical initiatives over the years.

The Republican National Committee has fired Nathan Sproul and his consulting firm it had hired to register Republican voters over allegations of that the firm turned in 106 potentially fraudulent registrations in Florida, NBC News' Michael Isikoff reports. Over the last few years, Republicans have pushed for stricter rules like showing a valid photo ID at polling stations to combat voter fraud, under the suspicion that lots of people are out there criminally and fraudulently voting. As it happens, this case, Isikoff writes, "appears to be one of the first to have led to a criminal inquiry in this year's election."

The RNC has paid Strategic Allied Consulting $2.9 million this year, but terminated the contract after the elections supervisor in Palm Beach County discovered the suspected fake registrations, some of which listed home addresses as those of a gas station and a car dealership. Iskoff reports:
Out of 304 Republican voter-registration forms recently dropped off by a firm employee at a small "satellite office" of the Palm Beach elections office, 106 were flagged as potentially fraudulent -- including "a lot" with "similar looking" signatures and others with apparently phony addresses, [Palm Beach election supervisor Susan] Bucher said in an interview.

Story Number Two El Paso County Colorado:

Outside of a Safeway in El Paso County, Colorado a young woman is allegedly trying to register voters, but she has a little scam going. She first says she is taking a poll and asks if you support Romney or Obama. If you say Obama she says ok, thanks you, and moves on. If you say Romney she will ask you if you are registered to vote and if not, she will attempt to register you.

An unamed woman who took the video, a local Democratic precinct boss, was savvy to the registrars tricks and caught her in a lie almost immediately. The worker admits to only registering Republicans. She then denies it, but admits to the fraud and says "we're trying to be honest."

A gem of a video, must see!

The Huffington Post reports that this video was shot over a month ago by a Democratic "campaign operative" and was recently released to damage the Republican party.

It was locally reported by KOAA.com that their local news team contacted the El Paso County Clerk & Recorder Wayne Williams to answer questions. Williams stance is that "pre-screening voters with preference questions isn't against the law. You don't have to offer a voter registration form to everybody."

The law becomes complex as a person registering is not required to offer anyone registration, but it is illegal to not give information if requested. It is also illegal to not submit completed voter registration forms.

Let's be clear readers, anyway you slice the cake, this is what voter fraud looks like, in case of confusion, re-watch these videos again and again until it sinks in!

NUMB3RS, FACTS AND LIES

After the past weeks of just painfully pathetic public prat-falls capped off by the devastating latest polling numbers, leaves Mitt Romney’s patrician glass jaw smashed into tiny bits, you’d have to imagine that the Tea party-led rightwing shock troops, having pinned all of their post-2010 electoral hopes and dreams on the deeply flawed shoulders of one Thurston Howell III AKA Willard Mitt Romney and the GOP is more than a little worried.

The man is at best a excruciating embarrassment as a candidate. Mitt’s a self-parody who jumped the shark before he even became the official nominee! What a “Debbie Downer” on the GOP morale he must be? It’s hard to keep rooting for the home team when the quarterback is such a witless plonker, isn’t it? The GOP is terrific at getting the vote out, but will the faithful line-up to vote for a tax-dodging plutocrat with Cayman Island bank accounts like Mitt Romney?

Their brows jagged in frustration and their lips tighten with anguish, as the GOP/tea party train has crashed for the last time.

In a desperate attempt to save his campaign, Romney channels Abe Lincoln; “I can screw 47% of the people 100% of the time, and favor the 1% 100% of the time, but it seems I can't fool anybody any of the time.”

Below are three videos that depict a desperate GOP party.

Seriously, Mittens, instead of pandering and lying and twisting words, why don't you try and tell us something useful? Maybe show us something with relevance, like your tax returns, and then maybe we could all just stop talking - and start planning Obama's victory celebration.
