When Roger West first launched the progressive political blog "News From The Other Side" in May 2010, he could hardly have predicted the impact that his venture would have on the media and political debate. As the New Media emerged as a counterbalance to established media sources, Roger wrote his copious blogs about national politics, the tea party movement, mid-term elections, and the failings of the radical right to the vanguard of the New Media movement. Roger West's efforts as a leading blogger have tremendous reach. NFTOS has led the effort to bring accountability to mainstream media sources such as FOX NEWS, Breitbart's "Big Journalism. Roger's breadth of experience, engaging style, and cultivation of loyal readership - over 92 million visitors - give him unique insight into the past, present, and future of the New Media and political rhetoric that exists in our society today. Economist Dana Leosch Says........

The economic stimulus package is a favorite target of Tea baggers, but more than a few ads falsely claim it did not create or save any jobs. Some recent examples:

■Republican House candidate Dan Debicella charges that Democratic Rep. Jim Himes failed Connecticut’s families because he voted for a "stimulus package that has done nothing to reduce unemployment."
■Rick Scott, the Republican candidate for governor in Florida, says Democrat Alex Sink "backed the failed stimulus bill, which created debt, not jobs."
■Similarly, Sink — who never served in Congress and didn’t vote on the bill — is attacked by the Republican Party of Florida in an ad that says the stimulus "gave us big debt and no jobs."
■Americans for Prosperity, a conservative group that does not have to disclose its donors, aired an ad against Democratic congressional candidate Denny Heck of Washington that claimed the "$787 billion stimulus … failed to save and create jobs." The group has launched similar ads against other Democrats.
■Kristi Noem, a Republican House candidate from South Dakota, calls the measure a "jobless stimulus."

The truth is that the stimulus increased employment by between 1.4 million and 3.3 million people, compared with what employment would have been otherwise. That’s according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. That accounts for 100 million dollars to families who would be out of work otherwise

It’s utter stupidity to say that the stimulus created "no jobs" or "failed to save and create jobs" or "has done nothing to reduce unemployment" – or similar claims that the stimulus did not produce any jobs. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office released a report in August that said the stimulus bill has "lowered the unemployment rate by between 0.7 percentage points and 1.8 percentage points".

The foremost authority on all topics on economics in America, or anything political (Dana Loesch, and no she is know economist! She gets her knowledge from "google search") says
"We spent more money we didn’t have on something not enumerated in the Constitution as a responsibility of our government. We put our financial security at risk by selling our debt to China to fund temporary projects that only worsened our unemployment rate and further devalued our dollar. We’re going to couple this disastrous move – if Democrats have lame duck success or conservatives don’t take back congress – by raising taxes (like Japan’s lost decade) in a recession." Loesch goes on to say " Willingness to engage the other side shows people a truth that contradicts the government media’s stereotype of Tea Partiers. The goal, as has been echoed so many times by myself and by Andrew Breitbart, is to plant the seed. It’s easy to talk a good game in an echo chamber, it’s easy to witness to people who think exactly the same way you do, but to test your convictions by going outside your comfort zone is where the ideological battle needs to go."

Leosch often speaks on "fact checking" , which to her means any 'search engine" on the Internet!

Fact Checker - A fact checker is the person who checks factual assertions in non-fictional text collected from non-partisan reports, and usually intended for publication in a periodical, to determine their veracity and correctness. i.e. Stimulus funding should be fact checked via the GAO Government Accounting Office, not "newsmax.com"!

At the end of the day Dana, Simply put, more people would be unemployed if not for the stimulus bill. The exact number of jobs created and saved is difficult to estimate, but nonpartisan economists say there’s no doubt that the number is positive. This according to the Factcheck.org!

Loesch speaking economics says "all of it an artificial mechanism to stimulate the economy to some idiotic Keynesian economic principle" speaking on clunkers for cash and auto bailout. (Just like our intro video to tonight's blog, Loesch gives you her biased take or that of a partisan blogger more intelligent than she, more aptly the latter as NTFOS doubts Loesch can speak for herself or do real "REAL" fact checking. She is the "bitch", "minion" and "puppet" for someone of more power within axis of idiots camp.)

Let's see, believe a gal with barely a high school education, or someone whom has studied, develop, and apply theories and concepts from economics and writes about economic policy. NFTOS says the latter

The economist Loesch is more about her TV air time then to distribute real FACTS on any subject. She rants about her stint on Bill Mahr this past Friday, still the same condescending tool we've come to know, and NFTOS doubts the newly crowned SME on economics will ever change!

In hindsight we wish the bailouts and stimulus didn't happen, then lets see where Loesch and her fellow axis of idiots and know nothings theory on economics would be then.

Did the Stimulus Create Jobs?.....Sorry Dana but Yes, the stimulus legislation increased employment, despite your false claims to the contrary.
