When Roger West first launched the progressive political blog "News From The Other Side" in May 2010, he could hardly have predicted the impact that his venture would have on the media and political debate. As the New Media emerged as a counterbalance to established media sources, Roger wrote his copious blogs about national politics, the tea party movement, mid-term elections, and the failings of the radical right to the vanguard of the New Media movement. Roger West's efforts as a leading blogger have tremendous reach. NFTOS has led the effort to bring accountability to mainstream media sources such as FOX NEWS, Breitbart's "Big Journalism. Roger's breadth of experience, engaging style, and cultivation of loyal readership - over 92 million visitors - give him unique insight into the past, present, and future of the New Media and political rhetoric that exists in our society today. WE DON'T WANT AN APOLOGY, WE WANT A RESIGNATION!

NO APOLOGY RESIGNATION ONLY ACCEPTED

Rush Limbaugh catapulted himself to the top of hate radio this week by saying that a law student was a “slut” and a “prostitute” for claiming that law students could often not pay for their own birth control. This took up much time an energy on both sides, prompting even a movement for sponsors to boycott Limbaugh’s show over the comments. Yesterday Limbaugh released a statement on his website noting that, while absurdity is a tool he often picks out of the shed, he “sincerely apologizes” for what he describes as “insulting word choices.”

 AS THE STORY BROKE:

The full statement as it appears on Limbaugh’s website below:
For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.
I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit?In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone’s bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.
My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.
Limbaugh slammed Fluke all week long, the day after calling her these putrid names he came back the very next day justifying his nasty attack, it was only after the majority of his advertisers called him on it, did he back track. Unacceptable!

I am asking my 21 million readers to not call for an apology from this POS, but to ask that this ponderous porcine be removed from the airwaves! Enough is enough!

Wanna Remove Rush from the Airwaves? Here’s How.

A few things Rush needs to learn:
.......And they say you don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off an 'ole Lone Ranger
And you don't call respectable females "prostitutes" and "sluts" on National radio!
