FAMILY LAWYER JUST AS SCARY AS MASS SHOOTERS

A lawyer who’s representing the family of Syed Farook raised Sandy Hook truther conspiracy theories to question the official account of the San Bernardino mass shooting.

VIDEO COURTESY OF MSNBC

The 28-year-old Farook and his wife, 27-year-old Tashfeen Malik, were killed Wednesday evening in a gun battle with police, hours after they opened fire on his colleagues during a holiday party at the Inland Regional Center.

Attorney David Chesley said investigators had suggested that the shootings were part of a workplace dispute by a disgruntled employee, but he suggested authorities had planted evidence or made up claims about the couple’s actions, reported the Daily Mail.
“It doesn’t seem plausible to us that this petite woman (Malik) would be involved in this sort of hyper-caricatured, Bonnie and Clyde crazy scenario,” Chesley said. “There were a lot of questions drawn with Sandy Hook and whether or not that was a real incident or not. But, I mean, obviously these things were found there, how they got there we don’t know.”
Conspiracy theorists such as Alex Jones and some firearms advocates have claimed the Dec. 14, 2012, school shootings that killed 20 children and six teachers were an elaborate hoax intended to usher in stricter gun control laws.
“There has been a lot speculation about it is all I would say,” Chesley said, when asked if he was a Sandy Hook truther. “There’s a lot of people that said it happened, but hasn’t happened in the way that it was purported to have taken place. There’s no question that incidents have taken place and evidence was found but we just question some of that.”

OVER 33,000 DEAD BY GUN VIOLENCE SINCE NEWTOWN

THIS PHOTO UPSETS THE GUN HUGGER MOST

NRA, Gun Huggers, Guns Over People unite, be proud, for over thirty three thousand lives have been taken since Newtown one year ago today.

Today flags in Connecticut will fly at half staff to honor the 20 first-graders and six adults gunned down at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14, 2012.

I am one of those "Damn Nazi Socialist Liberals" who wants total control over the Guns Over People, until we can prove that we indeed are truly "responsible" with weapons, then we all the pay the fiddler. I often find that "responsible" gun huggers are the ones we really need to watch the most, you know the ones who leave armed weapons on the kitchen table so that 4 year old baby Suzy can pick it up and kill herself or her two year old brother Johnny. How about the "responsible" Ex Vice President who shit his best friend in the face.....responsible my ass!

I posted yesterday on Twitter that over 173 children under the age of 12 have been killed over this same period, and the gun hugging twitter nuts went into a frothy frenzy. One NRA nut asked me to list every gun used in these events....here is the thing numbnutz, I don't give a phuck what weapon was used!

One year later, after this most disgusting event, and still having not done anything in this country to curb this, speaks volumes about Americans as a whole. When a organization [which is only 4 million strong] dictates what we do and don't do with regards to guns - Houston we have a problem! America has over 325 million citizens, since when did 4 million rule 325 million?

We have had more deaths this year alone than the entire 15 year war of Afghanistan and Iraq combined. Thirty three thousand dead via guns - is eight [8] thousand Benghazi's readers, where the hell is the outrage Faux News, Megyn Kelly, GOP, Guns Over People, Gun Huggers, NRA?

Where the phuck are all these good guys with a gun - where are all these "responsible" gun huggers at?

Email just in to NFTOS from a gun hugger:
"Gun control laws have been demonstrated not to work. Gun control laws have been proven to be a huge waste of money. Gun control laws disarm the law-abiding and empower the criminal. Gun control laws are legal booby traps for the unwary, but rarely hinder the criminal."
Except in every other country in the world where the gun laws are so stringent they basically prohibit routine ownership of weapons. This argument only works in the vacuum of addressing the US attempts at firearm regulation.

It is time to right this wrong - God forbid, but I wonder what happens to a gun hugger when they, or their family become a statistic of gun violence, are they still a proponent of zero gun control?

Zimmerman, "Another Sandy Hook Waiting To Happen"

Police Chief Steve Bracknell, who is responsible for the Florida town where George Zimmerman resides, agreed in a series of emails that Zimmerman is a “ticking time bomb” and another “Sandy Hook” waiting to happen.

Bracknell expressed his views in response to two emails from Santiago Rodriguez, who reached Bracknell through a contact form on the police department’s website. Bracknell confirmed the emails’ authenticity and subsequently tried to distance himself from the remarks.

Rodriguez’s first email was an extended, and sometimes angry, critique of how the Lake Mary Police Department handled their response to the recent altercation between George Zimmerman, his wife and his father in law. Rodriguez told Bracknell that he had a responsibility to charge Zimmerman because he was another “Sandy Hook… waiting to happen.” Bracknell responded with a detailed defense of the police department’s conduct, but explicitly endorsed Rodriguez’s comments on Sandy Hook.

[Ellipses are from the original email.]

Asked to elaborate on his email, Bracknell attempted to distance himself from Rodriguez’s comments, saying he did not agree and was “referring to the fact that [Zimmerman] seems to be involved in incidents” involving firearms.

In his second email, Rodriguez called Zimmerman a “ticking time bomb” who will snap “sooner or later.” Again, Bracknell agreed.

The full email exchange between Rodriguez and Bracknell is available here.

The police are still deciding whether or not to charge Zimmerman in connection to the incident. They are attempting to recover video of alleged assault that Zimmerman’s wife, Shellie, recorded with her iPad. Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara, acknowledged that Zimmerman broke the iPad into pieces before the police arrived. According to witnesses, Zimmerman also punched his father-in-law in the nose.

In her call to 911, Shellie Zimmerman told the police that Zimmerman was threatening her with his gun. “I don’t know what he’s capable of. I’m really, really scared,” Shellie said.

Zimmerman told police at the scene that he did not have a gun, according to Bracknell and a police department spokesman. O’Mara, however, insisted on CNN that he did have a gun on him during the entire incident. Bracknell said that one of them isn’t “telling the truth.”

What is not in dispute is that Zimmerman, despite his legal troubles and the police chief’s concerns, is still permitted to carry a concealed weapon in the State of Florida. In Florida, unlike other states like New York and New Jersey, authorities have no discretion over whether to grant or revoke concealed carry permits. Dr. Daniel Webster, director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research, recently told Salon, “You’ve got all kinds of George Zimmermans and everything in between there who fall through the cracks of our exclusions. But if you ask any reasonable person how comfortable they are with an individual like that running around with a concealed, loaded gun, the vast majority would say they are not.”

ITS IN THE NUMBERS

GUN HUGGERS

In less than six months more Americans were killed with guns than soldiers killed during decade-long Iraq War.

The number of gun deaths in the U.S. since the Newtown elementary school massacre has exceeded the total number of U.S. troops killed in the Iraq war.

According to a tally of gun deaths from Slate, the number of people killed since the Dec. 14 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary is now 4,502. The number of U.S. armed forces killed during the Iraq war was 4,488, [numbers updated 12:33 pm] according to the Defense Department.

This comparison of the five months since the tragedy that redefined the debate for further gun control in this country and the nine-year conflict the U.S. has recently ended is now being used by Americans United for Change, a progressive political group. Already, the group has targeted several GOP lawmakers, including Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, to support background checks, among other gun-control measures.

The American Taliban successfully stalled gun-control legislation, arguing that further measures would not prevent gun violence but merely stifle the Second Amendment rights of lawful Americans. But Democratic lawmakers and progressive groups have signaled that they will continue this fight.

RICIN LADEN LETTER SENT TO BLOOMBERG

RELATED:

In a related story; responsible gun hugger runs amuck: A person of interest from Texas [New Boston] is under close scrutiny by the FBI for sending ricin laden letters to President Obama, New York mayor Bloomberg and Bloomberg' anti gun advocacy agency.

In a NFTOS exclusive, we have captured a photo of what appears to be ricin on the letter sent to Bloomberg. [see above photo]

The letter states:
"You will have to kill me and my family before you get my guns," the letter reads. "Anyone wants to come to my house will be shot in the face. The right to bear arms is my constitutional God-given right and I will exercise that right 'til the day I die. What's in this letter is nothing compared to what I've got planned for you."

Spoken like a true Guns Over People [GOP] fanatic! This is the problem with unlettered gun huggers, this is your brain on Texas Governor Rick Perry and Fox News. This is what happens when Americans fail to understand facts.

I refer to the statement issued by this Einstein - that its their "GOD given right" to bear arms. Please, anyone, point to a book, a verse, a quote in the bible where is says gun hugging is a GOD given right.

I make the point, that with unlettered delusional folks like this individual, and you gun nuts have the stones to wonder why I want your guns? If you're sending ricin laden letters to leaders of these great United States, you're the last one I want gun hugging!

Both these stories point to a bigger problem within these United States. There are only 4 million associates of the Not Relative Anymore [NRA] gun huggers society. Certainly with over 340 million Americans, our voice and actions can be bigger than the gun hugger. The bold emphasizing mention in this blog is, "in six months, guns have killed more than the entire Iraq war" [ten years]. C'mon America, we're better than this!

footnote:
Ricin is relatively easy to make with recipes and instructions available online. Experts do caution that people trying to concoct the toxin on their own risk poisoning themselves. It should also be noted at its most dangerous ricin can kill, though it is quite difficult to deliver a dose that intense. The toxin, which comes from castor beans, stops cells from synthesizing proteins so victims can suffer organ failure.

BACKGROUND CHECK BACKLASH

Senator Kelly Ayotte, NRA puppet and mouthpiece

From the The New Republic:

As the Boston area was gripped by the manhunt that followed the Marathon bombings late last week, the opinion pages of the Concord Monitor just up the road in New Hampshire were consumed with another subject: Senator Kelly Ayotte’s vote against legislation to expand background checks for gun purchases. The paper’s lead editorial Sunday decried Ayotte’s rationale for opposing the bill as “utter nonsense” and an “abomination.” The letters to the editor section is riddled with anti-Ayotte broadsides, the tenor of which are conveyed by their headlines: “Ayotte’s vote should propel her out of office.” “Beyond disappointed.” “Ayotte did not represent her New Hampshire constituents.” “Enabler of murderers.” “Ayotte’s ‘courage.’” “Craven pandering.” “Reckless vote.” “Illogical vote.”

Ayotte seems to be seeking her fifteen minutes of fame as she makes the headlines yet again. See her in this thinkprogress story.

CONNECTICUT'S NEW GUN LAWS, WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

On Thursday the General Assembly of the state of Connecticut — home of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre — passed what’s being called the “toughest” and most “far-reaching” gun legislation in the country. Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy signed the bill into law at noon on Thursday.

Here’s what you need to know about the law:

It has bipartisan support. Certainly more Democrats than Republicans supported the bill, but the vote in the state House was 105 to 44, with 40 percent of Republicans and 87 percent of Democrats voting for it. Earlier, the Senate voted with only 2 of the 22 Democrats opposing the law. Nearly half of Connecticut Senate Republicans voted for the measure.

It expands the state’s assault weapons ban. Connecticut already has an Assault Weapons Ban in place, but the new law will add over 100 new types of guns to the banned list. Among these is the Bushmaster AR-15 gun, which is what the Sandy Hook gunman used in his horrific killing spree. People who already own such weapons will be permitted to keep them, but must comply with new registration standards.

Magazine clips will be limited to 10 rounds. Connecticut’s new law will immediately ban the sale of any large-capacity magazine clips that hold more than 10 rounds. Gun owners who’ve already purchased high-capacity clips will be grandfathered in, but they register any extended clips they have, if they plan to keep them. And they can’t bring those bigger clips around with them; the new law requires that any extended magazines still on the market be used only in a private home or at a shooting range.

All gun and ammunition sales will require a background check. Effective immediately, every single sale of a gun or of bullets in the state of Connecticut must include a background check. Universal background checks are probably the most widely supported measure in Connecticut’s new gun law; nationally, background checks have 92 percent support.

Mental health isn’t left out of the equation. Not every measure in the new law intends to regulate firearms; the bill also includes expanded funding for mental health research, and allows for greater training on mental health issues for Connecticut’s teachers. The bill also creates a council in the state with the express purpose of determining how schools can be more safe, and when mental health records should block someone from being able to purchase a firearm.

As was the case when both New York and Colorado passed new gun legislation, gun manufacturers are flexing their lobbying muscles by threatening to leave the state, and some firearm owners are mobbing stores to load up on magazines and weapons before the bans go into effect. But these two actions are not symbolic of widespread opposition. In fact, there’s a lot of support for stronger gun laws. Even hunting organizations are in favor of taking legislative action to prevent gun violence.

CONNECTICUT SETS THE BAR

GUN HUGGERS GET WAKE UP CALL B Y CONNECTICUT LEGISLATURE

Connecticut's lawmakers sent a message to gun huggers last night - and their decisions marks a line in the sand with both the NRA and those whom choose to hoard weapons, that this will ho longer be status quo for their state.

In the wee hours of this day Lawmakers in Connecticut’s House voted approve a bill that limits the capacity of rifle magazines to 10 rounds, requires background checks for all gun sales and grows the state’s definition of “assault rifle” to ban more than 100 different models across the state, including the one used in the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre.

The vote passed Connecticut’s Democratic-controlled House 105 to 44, just hours after the similarly liberal Senate approved an identical bill, balloting 26 to 10. Gov. Dannel Malloy (D), who emerged as one of the nation’s biggest proponents of expanded gun control after the slaughter in Newtown, is expected to sign the bill into law later today.

Similar gun-control measures are supported by President Barack Obama and many congressional Democrats, who’ve been all but stymied by Republicans on even popular measures like background checks for all gun sales.
“The American public is calling for a comprehensive solution that not only addresses tragic school shootings, but also helps prevent the thousands of senseless gun deaths each year” The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence insisted in a prepared statement this week. “Expanding the background check program, which nine out of ten Americans support, is one place to start.”

Thinkprogress has a story on States with lax gun laws having a higher rate of gun violence. Do we really need to have a study on what we already know? With lunatics like Mike Huckabee suggesting that POTUS is "panning to grab guns and launch a Nazi-Like Dictatorship" it's no wonder gun huggers are in a frenzy, as this type of rhetoric sends the huggers into mass chaos.

Gun lobbyist Dudley "do-right" Brown suggest it's "time to hunt Democrats" because back ground checks are just a step towards identifying gun owners so the government can seize their weapons. Personally I think it's time to put the NRA on the list of known terrorist groups.

The bar has now been set for all states to follow. Now is the time to pressure all states to adhere to what's right - to follow suit with Connecticut, for we cannot continue to allow citizens to hoard, hug, and kill innocence. I have said before, my right to not be shot by the "responsible" gun hugger way out weighs their right to hug a weapon of mass destruction!

THE HYPOCRISY OF THE NRA

THE NRA AS OUTDATED AS THE SECOND AMENDMENT

When 20 children and 6 adults were gunned down in Sandy Hook Elementary School exactly one month ago today, the National Rifle Association rushed to blame video games, not guns, for inspiring such mass murders. But the gun lobby seemingly lost sight of its target in the past weeks, and over the weekend released a shooting app, called “NRA: Practice Range.”

The app bills itself as a “network of news, laws, facts, knowledge, safety tips, educational materials and online resource.” The NRA reports that it “instills safe and responsible ownership through fun challenges and realistic simulations.”

But it isn’t all about hunting. It allows players practice shooting at targets — coffin-shaped targets, with red bulls eyes at head- and heart-level:

GAME SCREEN SHOT

For 99 cents more, users can upgrade to a MK11 sniper rifle.

This is not the first hypocritical move by the NRA. In addition to video games, the organization also blamed violence in movies for a rise in gun violence and mass murders, while simultaneously running an exhibit in honor of such violence.

The gun industry itself has ties to video game producers: Gun manufacturers sign contracts allowing gaming companies to use firearm brand names in video games as a method of product promotion.
