U.S. Conservative wing-nut and presidential candidate Ben Carson is under attack for “embellishing” key elements of his biography, lashed out at critics during a debate on Tuesday and said he did not like being “lied about.”

Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, has faced a series of reports in the past week casting doubt on his stories about his violent outbursts as a youth and a scholarship he said he was offered to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

“I have no problem with being vetted,” Carson said. “What I do have a problem with is being lied about and having that put out there as true.”

Carson, 64, was in the spotlight in the fourth Republican presidential debate, having risen to the top of opinion polls. He questioned why Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton had not been subjected to a similar level of media scrutiny.

“We have to start treating people the same and finding out what they really think,” he said. “People who know me know I’m an honest person.”

He spoke during a debate among leading Republican presidential candidates about economic policy. Several agreed they would oppose raising the federal minimum wage, saying it would hurt small businesses and reduce jobs.

With income inequality looming as an election issue, thousands of protesters took to the streets across the United States earlier in the day to demand a $15-an-hour minimum wage for fast food workers.

“Every time we raise the minimum wage, the number of jobless people increases,” Carson said. “I’m interested in making sure that people can enter the job market.”

All of the Democratic presidential candidates including Clinton, 68, have called for an increase in the minimum wage. The federal minimum wage is now $7.25.

But Republican real estate magnate Donald Trump, 69, said a rise in the minimum wage would put businesses in the United States at a disadvantage with foreign competitors.

“We are a country that is being beaten on every economic front,” Trump said. “We cannot do this if we are going to compete with the rest of the world.”

Tuesday’s debate comes at a critical time in the race for the Republican nomination in the November 2016 election, with Carson and Trump fighting to hold their spot atop the polls and Florida Senator Marco Rubio trying to build on the momentum of his last strong debate performance.

Carson has faced a rough week of scrutiny about whether he embellished key aspects of his biography, while Rubio, 44, is under pressure to show he can fight off recent criticism of his inexperience as he tries to unseat fellow Floridian Jeb Bush as a favorite of the party’s mainstream.

Rubio also said he would oppose an increase in the minimum wage.

“If you raise the minimum wage, you are going to make people more expensive than machines,” said Rubio, who has not led opinion polls in any early voting state, and lags Bush, a 62-year-old former governor, and others in fund-raising.

In an earlier debate on Tuesday involving four lower-polling Republican candidates, several accused the Federal Reserve of keeping U.S. interest rates low for political reasons and one called for replacing Fed chair Janet Yellen.

“The Fed should be audited and the Fed should stop playing politics with our money supply,” New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal tried to distinguish himself by repeatedly attacking Christie and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee for failing to cut government spending during their tenures as governors.

Christie declined to take the bait, turning the debate back again and again to the need for Republicans to rally around a nominee who can defeat Clinton.

Clearly from all these debates one thing is certain, none of these wing-nuts are worthy of having access to nuclear key codes!

THE GOP DEBATE AND “THE LIBERAL MAINSTREAM MEDIA”

Late last night RNC Chair Reince Priebus was crying about following the CNBC Republican debate. Sen. Ted Cruz decided to use up all of his time whining about the nonexistent, so-called "liberal media' when asked about his desire to shut down the government rather than compromise on a budget deal by moderator Carl Quintanilla.

After he'd filibustered and used the time to grandstand and call the media and Democrats names, he was upset they didn't want to give him more time to finally answer their question.

"Congressional Republicans, Democrats and the White House are about to strike a compromise that would raise the debt limit, prevent a government shutdown, and calm financial markets of the fear that a Washington crisis is on the way. Does your opposition to it show you're not the kind of problem-solver that American voters want?" CNBC anchor Carl Quintanilla asked the presidential candidate. 

"This is not a cage match. And you look at the questions -- Donald Trump, are you a comic book villain? Ben Carson, can you do math? John Kasich, will you insult two people over here? Marco Rubio, why don't you resign? Jeb Bush, why have your numbers fallen? How about talking about the substantive issues," Cruz said to commanding applause from the audience. 

"Do we get credit for this one," Quintanilla asked Cruz? 

"And Carl, I'm not finished yet. The contrast with the Democratic debate, where every thought and question from the media was, which of you is more handsome and why?" Cruz asked and then paused to cough. 

"You have 30 seconds left to answer should you choose to do so," Quintanilla told the candidate. 

"Let me be clear," Cruz said. "The men and women on this stage have more ideas, more experience, more common sense, than ever participant in the Democratic debate. That debate reflected a debate between the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks." 

"Nobody believes that the moderators have any intention of voting in a Republican primary," Cruz said. 

"The questions being asked shouldn't be trying to get people to tear into each other, it should be what are your substantive solutions to people at home," Cruz said before getting cut off. 

"I asked you about the debt limit and got no answer," Quintanilla said.
"You want an answer to that question?" Cruz asked. "I'd be happy to answer your question." 

Cruz was interrupted this time by John Harwood who said "we're moving on."
"Senator [Rand] Paul, I've got a question for you," Harwood said in his attempt to move on. 

"So you don't actually want to hear the answer, John?" Cruz called out the anchor. 

"You don't want to hear the answer, you just want to incite insults." 

"You used your time on something else," a dismissive Harwood said. 

"You're not interested in an answer," Cruz scolded. 

"I'm interested in an answer from Senator Paul," Harwood retorted.

"Let me say something at the outset," the Senator from Texas said. "The questions asked in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media."

Once again Cruz avoids having to answer a tough question, all the while bitching about media bias. A funny thing happened on the way to the forum when Cruz attacked CNBC for their "liberal media," biased questioning.

While the fantasy football question was a bit absurd, most questions were legitimate attempts to get these clowns to clear their extreme ideology on the record, instead they chose to whine about being picked on and not being fair. Yet again, complaining about being America being toPC [politically correct] and then expecting to be treated with PC queries.

The hypocrisy of the right is matched by none!

HUCKABEE BEING HUCKABEEE

While all eyes were on Donald Trump’s Twitter feed after he promised to live-tweet the Democratic debate, GOP candidate Mike Huckabee managed to win the night for the most outrageous tweet with an incredibly racist tweet aimed at Bernie Sanders.

After tweeting, “Racism exists because we have a sin problem in American, not a skin problem,” Huckabee followed up with … a racist joke:

Huckabee’s comment is based on a common slur against Asians, inferring that they would like to eat you pet dog.

HYPOCRITICAL OATHER KIM DAVIES RELEASED WITH CONDITIONS

U.S. District Judge David Bunning issued an order Tuesday afternoon releasing Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis from jail in Kentucky. She had been held in contempt for defying Bunning’s order requiring her to do her job of issuing marriage certificates.

During proceedings on Thursday, Davis was offered to avoid jail if she allowed her deputies to issue the marriage licenses. She refused, and on Friday they began issuing them. The release order requires that Davis “shall not interfere in any way, directly or indirectly, with the efforts of her deputy clerks to issue marriage licenses to all legally eligible couples.” If she refuses — as she seemed to promise to do last week — she would again be held in contempt.

The lawyers for the deputies issuing licenses were also ordered to file a “Status Report” every 14 days to confirm their compliance with the order. They are forbidden from following Davis’ “no marriage licenses” policy should she try to enforce it again.

Davis is being released just as a rally in her support, featuring Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz and numerous anti-LGBT organizations, is set to commence outside the correctional facility where she’s been held since Thursday. The Republican presidential candidates had planned to visit her in jail, but she was released before they had the chance.

It should be noted that Davis' release from jail might not last very long. Her lawyers have indicated that she will, in fact, halt the issuing of marriage licenses in direct violation of the order.

WING-NUT HUCKABEE IF ELECTED WOULD DEFY COURT AS WELL

Wing-Nut Mike Huckabee said on Sunday that U.S. citizens only have to follow court orders if judges get “it right,” and that he would follow his conscience as president even if it meant the type of jail time Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis is serving.

Speaking with host George Stephanopolous, the GOP presidential candidate claimed court orders only become binding upon citizens when state or federal legislatures take the ruling and codify it into law.

Huckabee — who has hitched his fading star of a campaign to the fortunes of Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk who is currently sitting in jail for contempt after refusing marriage licenses to same-sex couples — explained that there is no specific law Davis should have been following.

“George, can you cite for me what statute Kim Davis would be required follow in order to issue a same-sex marriage license in Kentucky when her state specifically says, by 75 percent of the voters, that marriage means one man, one woman?” Huckabee asked. “Can you cite the statute at the federal or state level that she’s supposed to follow? Even the very form that she fills out specifically lists a male and a female. Does she have the authority just to scratch that out and create her own?”

“Doesn’t she have to the duty to obey a legal order from the court?” Stephanopolous pressed.

“Well, you obey it if it’s right. So I go back to my question. Is slavery the law of the land?” Huckabee attempted as way of an explanation. “Should it have been the law of the land because Dred Scott said so? Was that a correct decision? Should the courts have been irrevocably followed on that? Should Lincoln have been put in jail? Because he ignored it.”

Turning to presidents following their conscience, Stephanopolous played a clip of President John F. Kennedy in 1960 stating: “When if the time should ever come and I do not concede any conflict to be remotely possible, when my office would require me to either violate my conscience or violate the national interest, then I would resign the office.”



“Would you make that same statement in your candidacy for president?” the host asked Huckabee.

“I can’t see any circumstance in which I would be required to violate my conscience and — and the law,” Huckabee conceded before adding, “And if so, I think maybe there is a point at which you say either I’ll resign or put me in jail.”

AS DUGGAR’S CONTINUE SLAMMING TRANSGENDERS, AMERICA AWAITS TO SEE IF JIM BOB WILL INSIST ON SONS EXECUTION FOR DIDDLING HIS SISTERS

CRAZY EYES MICHELLE DUGGAR FULL THROTTLE HYPOCRISY

During Wednesday night’s interview with Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar about their son Josh’s history of molesting his younger sisters, Fox News’ Megyn Kelley pressed the conservative couple to justify their advocacy against LGBT equality. Specifically, she asked Michelle about her robocalls against Fayetteville’s LGBT ordinance, in which she smeared transgender people as a threat to the safety of women and children. “How could you unfairly… compare transgender people to child molesters, suggest they are child molesters, knowing what you know about Josh?”

Michelle doubled down on her comments, erasing the very experience of transgender people’s identities by saying, “I think that protecting young girls and not allowing young men and men in general to go into a girls’ locker room is just common sense.”

Kelley insisted, “But this is different because you injected child molestation into it.” Jim Bob interrupted to clarify that Michelle said “pedophile,” which requires the perpetrator to be of a certain age, but Josh was younger — “a child preying on a child,” not a pedophile — so it’s not a fair comparison. Michelle then claimed that they were the ones being victimized by these charges of hypocrisy, explaining, “This is more about — there’s an agenda, and there’s people that are purposing to try to bring things out and twisting them to hurt and slander.”




What Michelle actually said last summer was that Fayetteville’s nondiscrimination order was that men — “yes, I said men!” — would be allowed into “women’s and girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas, and other areas that are designated for females only.” She referred to “males with past child predator convictions” — not “pedophiles” — who might “claim they are female” to enter women’s spaces. “We should never place the preference of an adult over the safety and innocence of a child.” A transgender woman is neither a man nor somebody with a “preference,” and there has never been an incident of gender identity protections somehow enabling or protecting such predatory behavior. Since the Duggars waited well over a year to even report Josh’s behavior and because criminal charges were never filed, he has no “past child predator convictions” for his admitted past child perversion.

Kelley missed an opportunity to call out another example of hypocrisy from the Duggars’ past public statements. In 2002, when Jim Bob was running for U.S. Senate, he actually argued that rape and incest “represent heinous crimes and as such should be treated as capital crimes.” As part of his justification for opposing abortion even in cases of rape, he suggested, “If a woman is raped, the rapist should be executed instead of the innocent unborn baby.” Despite the fact that Josh inappropriately touched multiple young girls on multiple occasions, Jim Bob has yet to advocate for his son’s execution.

The Duggar’s are just another example of the hypocrisy that oozes from Conservative Christian Family Values.

These words spoken [See first video below] from a neighbor who is helping the McDonnell's through the guilty verdict. Bob and Maureen did do something wrong, they are criminals and they are nothing like Christ!

This neighbors comments are mind numbing, and it would appear that "Terry" [Neighbor] suffers from the same Hubris that the transvaginal governor does.

In the end -- and this is the end for Transvaginal Bob, although he is yet to be sentenced -- We are eft with a feeling of amazement at the vast gap between how McDonnell was regarded and who he turned out to be. His judgment, which was heralded as one of his best attributes, wound up being by far one of his worst.

McDonnell's political career has long been over; the jury's decision simply put the nail in the coffin. His professional and personal decline, sealed his fate - by a jury of his peers last Thursday - remains stunning in its depth, and points to how truly oblivious to reality this pinhead is.

Bob and Maureen McDonnell, neighbor "Terry" - if indeed they are "Christians" - they are what's wrong with Christianity! Christianity does not mean free reign to; abuse power, be corrupt, and lie. "Conservative Christian Values", don't you want some?
