ROLLINS PUMMELS MEDIA FOR GIULIANI’S ASSHAT COMMENTS

Henry Rollins took on the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile in his latest column for L.A. Weekly. Rollins also excoriated news outlets for going to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani for analysis.
“The despicable litanies of willfully ignorant denial and misinformation I have heard spouted in the last several days by pieces of shit like Rudy Giuliani all but ensure that things will get worse,” Rollins wrote.
Giuliani appeared on several news shows following both the shootings and the demonstrations they sparked, arguing that black parents should teach their children to fear other members of their communities instead of police, and saying, “I saved a lot more black lives than Black Lives Matter.”
“The mainstream media outlets allow this utter crap to slide by unchallenged and, by doing so, legitimize falsehoods that could get people killed,” the former Black Flag lead singer said in response. “Ratings-based, 24/7, for-profit media is the complete death of true journalism and a catapult for propaganda.”
But in contrast to Giuliani’s rhetoric, Rollins also addressed white privilege in his column, saying that if white Americans “would immediately and collectively lose their minds” if they had to deal with even a fraction of the experiences black Americans go through in connection with the justice system.
“I’m an educated, Caucasian, heterosexual male. Does this ensure I will have success and live the American Dream? Obviously it doesn’t,” he wrote. “But it damn sure drops me on second base with a great opportunity to steal third.”

THE BEGHAZI HOAX, THE GOP BULLSHIT CONSPIRACY THEORY GOES DOWN IN FLAMES

To the surprise of no one, the Republicans’ four-year partisan inquisition surrounding the terrorist attack on the American compound in Benghazi, Libya - the conspiracy theory has ended in a crash and burn catastrophe . With the House Select Committee on Benghazi finally releasing its findings, and the report representing the eighth and (likely) final government investigation into the deadly event, the Benghazi hoax, as sponsored by Fox News for four years, finally comes to an impotent and ignominious end.

This latest report has provided nothing, a total of 15 million dollars of tax payers dollars wasted on a witch-hunt - which was to derail a Clinton bid for presidency.

BENGHAZI, THE SCANDAL THAT WASN'T

So if Benghazi wasn't used as an election year theatrics against the Democrats, what has been the point of committee chairman Trey Gowdy’s lame assed extended inquiry?

Anybody with an IQ above -500 realized that the final GOP Benghazi report, with its 2016 summertime release, was designed to disrupt Clinton’s White House run. Why else would the committee’s work be extended for two-plus years when it likely could have been completed in six or seven months?

RELATED LINK:

http://benghazihoax.com/

I find this witch hunt both putrid and disgusting! It is what we have become to know of the Republcian; a shit stain in your underwear that never goes away.

The whole fiasco, partisan in nature, shines a light on what’s completely fucked-up with the Republican Party and the right-wing media. It’s about how shallow, endlessly debunked conspiracies and money-sucking investigations have replaced any attempt to to be honest Americans who's job is to govern and legislate.

Rapscallions, each and every one of them! Nothing is beyond the pale of a conservative, nothing.

THE BULLSHIT TSUNAMI

I’ve been trying to understand the Trump voter better. I know, waste of time. Their candidate, and most of them, just fans the flames of anger and divisiveness.

Why is that? It started over 20 years ago, when the republicans won control of Congress. "To truly achieve the level of change we want, we have to have control," Newt Gingrich said.

How’d that work out? The institution of trade polices that allowed their cronie-capitalist friends to accumulate ever more wealth while the rest of us are left in the dust. I’m not anti-trade; I’m pro fair trade – trade that protects American jobs.

Tax policy? It’s voodoo economic theory. It’s never, ever been successful! Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman warned us about their plan. However, the real threat to America lies deep within their thinking.

Have you ever listened to Ted Cruz? I know, its hard, but try. He professes to be an original intent brand of the Constitutionalist.

Original intent? Sorry, there’s a shovel full on top of Bullshit Mountain. They like term limits, except when it limits them. They like the original intent, but now Cruz thinks there should be limited terms on the Supreme Court. Reminder – the original intent of lifetime appointments was to eliminate transient political influence on the court.

Listening to the speech Marco Rubio gave on the eve of Super Tuesday 3, it struck me how they phony they really are. May God bless the conservative movement - horseshit! The liberals aren’t your enemy. This is not good vs. evil. Marco, this is why you lost - try reading Mathew 5:44 and put that message into your heart.

Yeah, we’re in the middle of a Tsunami, a bullshit tsunami. The GOP has done a great job of churning the water so all the crap comes to the surface. What I learned this week in talking to the Trump supporter is that they’re angry – and love, compassion, and empathy are things they boldly mock. So Bye-bye Little Marco, maybe you should show up for work now and do what Florida voters elected you to do.

Fox Told Beck To Not Push Prayer Because It Takes God’s Attention Off Of War

At Ted Cruz rally on Saturday at the Springmaid Beach Resort in South Carolina, Glenn Beck took the stage to stump for his presidential candidate, but the speech quickly turned to being more about himself. The former Fox News host claims that he left his comfortable job for the right-wing network due to his exuberance for prayer.
“I was told, ‘Stop telling people to pray.’ I was told not to tell people to pray on their knees because there’s a lot of people in the audience whose knees hurt and I make them feel bad,” Beck explained in a Facebook video. “I was told, ‘Stop praying because that takes God’s focus off the important things like war.’ I was just like, ‘Uh huh. Wow. I thought I was gonna get this speech at CNN.'”

He explained to the person that he understood the instruction but four months later he was called in and questioned again. They allegedly asked Beck, “do you realize how many times you’ve said the word ‘God’ on the air since?” It was evidently 91 times in over 120 days.

While Beck claims to have had a soul-searching conversation with his wife where they decided he should leave, he claims the “head” didn’t want him to. “I wanted to stay there … the guy who runs the place told me, ‘You’re not leaving.'” Though Beck didn't identify if it was CEO Rupert Murdoch or Fox News head Roger Ailes. He continued, claiming the “guy who runs the place” said that Fox has made Beck rich and famous and “nobody leaves.”

Beck insisted that he said he was leaving anyway “and that’s because God said to me, ‘If you don’t leave now, you’re not going to leave without your soul. Because once you start wanting it, that’s when you start compromising.”

Fox News disputes Beck’s claim, telling Politico several years ago,
“Glenn Beck wasn’t trying to save his soul, he was trying to save his ass. Advertisers fled his show and even Glenn knows what that means in our industry. Yet, we still tried to give him a soft landing. Guess no good deed goes unpunished.”
Beck has been campaigning for Cruz in early primary and caucus states with a religious message going so far as to claim that Cruz will get them through the Rapture. But he isn’t the only one, wife Heidi Cruz gave a radio interview where she talked about how her husband was going to “show the face of God” to America.

FERGUSON SLAMS CLOWNSTICK NUTTER

I am certainly no fan of Ben Ferguson, but yesterday he annihilated Fuckface Von Clownstick and GOP front runner Donald Trump, accusing him of cynically taking advantage of veterans because it is “politically advantageous” to do so as the controversial primary debate loomed Thursday.

In a prolonged spat with Fox News over tough questions directed at him by moderator and network host Megyn Kelly, Trump abruptly announced he would boycott the Thursday night debate in Iowa just ahead of the caucuses. Trump said instead he will hold an event at Drake University and give all the proceeds to veterans and wounded warriors.

Ferguson wasn’t buying it, and let his fellow guest, Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson, know it.
“This is a sick and vile move by a guy who likes to throw those words around: Donald Trump,” Ferguson said to CNN host Chris Cuomo. “To use Wounded Warriors and their true battle scars to his political advantage, I would say this to Katrina: I’m not dumb enough to buy that this is about the veterans, because Donald Trump has never held an event for the veterans on his campaign.”
Ferguson also called Trump out for trying to stop veterans from selling items near his hotel on Fifth Avenue. According to a report by the New York Daily News, Trump lobbied lawmakers for years to limit vendors, which included disabled veterans, from selling items outside his swank property.

“While disabled veterans should be given every opportunity to earn a living, is it fair to do so to the detriment of the city as a whole or its tax paying citizens and businesses?” Trump wrote in a 1991 letter to the then-chairman of the state.

VIDEO COURTESY OF CNN

Assembly’s Committee on Cities, obtained by the Daily News. “Do we allow Fifth Ave., one of the world’s finest and most luxurious shopping districts, to be turned into an outdoor flea market, clogging and seriously downgrading the area?”

In light of this, Ferguson called Trump’s Thursday move hypocritical.
“So for him to come out now and to self-righteously say, ‘I’m gonna stand up for veterans, and I’m going to do an event that I haven’t had time to do’ until it was convenient for him tonight, many veterans are going to be turned off by this,” Ferguson said. “They went and fought for their country and now Donald Trump uses them as political pawns.”
Cuomo said the head of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Paul Rieckhoff, said the organization would take no donations from Trump.

JANINE TURNER, NOT JUST ANOTHER PRETTY FACE [SNARK]

RIGHT WING NUTTER JANINE TURNER

Right wing nutter actress Janine Turner asserted to Bullshit Mountain Business News on Monday that Darth Vader’s costume was black because Star Wars movies were based on the Bible.

Over the weekend, MSNBC host Melissa Harris Perry had suggested that there was a racial component to Darth Vader’s character because he was dressed in black and voiced by a black man. But after the character turned away from the Dark Side, Darth Vader was revealed to be a white man.

Turner responded to Harris Perry on Monday by warning that “political correctness is going to be responsible for killing more Americans.”
“Regarding Darth Vader, please!” she exclaimed. “The Bible talks darkness and light. This is about evil and good. Darkness and light.”
“This doesn’t have anything to do with anything else, this goes back to biblical times,” she continued. “It’s been discussed in the Bible, Jesus talks about it. It’s about darkness and light, evil and good.”

Turner pointed out that it was “always” that way in the movies: “Evil people come up on the black horses, the good people come up on the white horses. I mean, you know, this is darkness and evil.”
According to the actress, the discussion of racial issues in Star Wars is the kind of rhetoric that is “ruining our country and putting us in this clear and present danger.”
Turner said that she had found a clause in the Constitution (Article I, Section 10, Clause 3) that would allow “the states to take this back into their own hands.”

Because the states were facing “imminent danger” they could come together and form their own union to deal with immigration and other issues, she advised.
“We’re in clear and present danger, we’re beyond imminent,” Turner opined. “So the states can legally and constitutionally come together to defend the American people.”

Hey Janine, lets leave constitutional law to the professionals please.

SNL PUNKS FAUX NEWS, BEN CARSON AND TED CRUZ

Kate McKinnon of SNL did a turn as Faux News host Greta Van Susteren attempting to interview GOP candidates Ted Cruz, Chris Christie and Ben Carson — only to be baffled and frustrated by their babbling and incoherent responses.

Castmate Taran Killam offered up a suitably smarmy Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who opened with, “Hello, Greta. A friend of mine wanted to say hello to you. I think you’ve heard of him. He’s the U.S. Constitution,” before giving her a condescending smirk.

Attempting to get Cruz to go on the record as to whether he agreed with Donald Trump’s plan to ban Muslims from entering into the U.S., Cruz offered up, “Nyes.”

“Nyes?” a puzzled Van Susteren questioned. “Is that a no or a yes?”

“Exactly,” Cruz replied — once again smirking.

VIDEO COURTESY OF NBC

Cast member Bobby Moynihan portrayed New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, saying of Trump, “Alright, look. This guy Trump is a clown, okay? He’s a total joke! The last thing anyone wants is some loudmouthed bully from the Tri-State area who hurls insults at people like a fat-headed jabroni!”

Reprising his portrayal of a somnolent Ben Carson, cast member Jay Pharoah’s Carson complained about his tumbling poll numbers after returning from the Middle East where he visited “Jordans” and met with both “Shiites and He-ites.”

As Van Susteren shook her head and protested, Carson continued, “I talked to them all about radical groups. The hummus, ISIS, Is-Is, even Al Gator.”

WILMORE THROTTLES BULLSHIT MOUNTAIN FOR NORMALIZING GUN VIOLENCE

Larry Wilmore used a roller coaster metaphor to explain the media coverage of and the public reaction to the epidemic of mass shootings.

The “Nightly Show” host said we’re pulled up to the top of the “Big Thundering Mountain of Emotional Exhaustion” by the initial reports of an “active shooter,” and then comes the questions and guessing.

“Everyone on the coaster’s trying to guess what the shooter looks like at this point,” he said, showing a clip of Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly asking why authorities won’t release descriptions or other information about the suspects during the breaking news event.
“Yes, what are the ethnicities?” Wilmore said. “Can’t they see we need to know who to hate?”
Wilmore said the initial release of the suspects’ description was a particularly scary part of the emotional roller coaster.
“Everybody’s praying that their type isn’t the one at the bottom of that drop,” he said. “If you’re like me, you’re like, ‘Lord, don’t let them be black, don’t let them be black — please.’ Even white people are like, ‘God, I never ask you for anything — you know, because I’m white and everything. But please.'”

He said the San Bernardino shootings yanked our emotions back and forth as the initial reports indicated the shooters were white, but then authorities said the suspects were a Muslim couple.

President Barack Obama issues statements condemning the shootings and lamenting their frequency, but Wilmore said nothing was ever done to prevent them.

“That’s because we’re about to take a hard right,” he said, showing video of various conservative lawmakers and pundits saying that mass shootings had nothing to do with gun control or even guns themselves.
“I’m starting to get sick,” Wilmore said, as he rolled video of the familiar litany of evasions and excuses. “Oh no, here comes the craziest part of the ride — the Fox News loop-de-loop of loopiness.”

Fox News host Steve Doocy asked a guest whether the San Bernardino shooters had deliberately targeted an office Christmas party, and legal analyst Peter Johnson Jr. connected the dots on another program by asking: “Is it a literal war on Christmas?”
“I knew this was going to make me throw up,” Wilmore said.
He said cable news networks too often filled airtime with guesses and speculation as mass shootings unfolded, rather than waiting for facts to be revealed.
“They get into this game of speculation and conjecture, or as I like to call it: premature conject-ulation,” he said.
Wilmore said each mass shooting was carried out for singularly awful and usually bewildering reasons, but they all had something in common.
“The only thing we can be sure of is, as we get off this ride, we’re a little queasy, our legs are a little wobbly and, in the pit of our stomach, we know that it’s not going to be long before we get on this ride again,” Wilmore said. “And the scariest part about this whole thing is that it doesn’t surprise us anymore. We’re actually getting used to this.”
“That’s not good — and this is not just my opinion,” he added. “This is how it was reported by the BBC (on Wednesday): ‘Just another day in the United States of America — another day of gunfire, panic and fear.’ Just another day.”

“KEEP YOUR DAUGHTERS HOME IN THE KITCHEN TO PREVENT FRATERNITY RAPES”…..

…Says the Fox News host of Outnumbere. Harris Faulkner suggested on Tuesday that daughters could be put into convents or kept “home in the kitchen” to prevent them from getting sexually assaulted at college fraternities.

After the Sigma Nu fraternity suspended their Old Dominion Chapter this week for hanging banners warning parents that daughters should be “ready for a good time,” Fox News host Harris Faulkner said that it was a sign that she needed to get her daughters “ready for the real world.”
“These guys are teenagers and in their twenties and they were probably drunk when they were writing the signs,” Faulkner explained. “And they’re just having a good time.”
Co-host Andrea Tantaros predicted that college women would go to the fraternity in spite of the signs if there were “hot boys.”

“Ray Rice in the NFL, how many women were still wearing his jersey after we all had seen the video and knew what was going on?” Faulkner recalled.
“The signs are disgusting and the university has to take a stand on this because of what’s going on with rape culture,” Tantaros continued. “The university has to stand up and say, ‘If something happens at that house, we cannot be responsible.’ But not even that, it’s PR. They have to protect the brand of Old Dominion University.”
According to co-host Kennedy Montgomery, the signs were “a backlash that these guys are feeling about being told that they are predators. And oftentimes, you see the pendulum swing the opposite way.”
“I hope they are focusing on keeping the women safe,” Faulkner said.
“My daughters are going to a convent,” Montgomery volunteered.
“I’m going to keep them home in the kitchen,” Faulkner agreed.

TED "THE PANTS SHITTER" NUGENT IS STILL A DOUCHE BAG

Is it conceivably possible that Ted Pedophile Nugent, and the Fox News base, can become any more disturbed? Nugent, appearing in a radio interview on WIBX’s Keeler in the Morning, was asked about the Megyn Kelly/Donald Trump feud. He sided with Trump, then added that Megyn Kelly is mostly useful for masturbation.

Nugent said, “I’m a big fan of Donald Trump because I believe in bold, aggressive, unapologetic truth. Period. And I’m not a fan of Megyn Kelly, although I often turn on Fox just to look at her. Sometimes when I’m loading my magazines, I like to just look at her. And I usually sit naked on the couch dropping hot brass on my stuff.”

Cenk Uygur, host of the The Young Turks, breaks it down. Watch:

Ted Nugent is this weeks douche bag of the week.

MEGYN KELLY CLAIMS “GOOD JOURNALISM” SAYS SHE WON’T STOP

Bullshit Mountain host Megyn Kelly did not directly address the personal attacks against her by Donald Trump on Monday, but did not back down from pressing the Republican presidential candidate over his history of sexist remarks.
“Trump, the front-runner, will not apologize. And I certainly will not apologize for doing good journalism,” she said. “So I’ll continue doing my job without fear or favor. And Mr. Trump, I expect, will continue with what has been a successful campaign thus far.”
The former reality TV star accused Kelly of having “blood coming out of her wherever” for bringing the issue up at last week’s candidate debate.

He was subsequently disinvited from an event hosted by the conservative site RedState.com, and later demanded an apology from Kelly. Kelly noted the attacks during a short commentary on her show, saying she declined to respond.

“I felt he was asked a tough but fair question. We agreed to disagree,” she said, later adding, “This is a tough business, and it’s time now to move forward.”

CNN reported that Trump and the network’s CEO, had what was described as a “blunt but cordial” conversation on Monday morning.
“We discussed our concerns, and I again expressed my confidence in Megyn Kelly,” Ailes said in a statement. “She is a brilliant journalist and I support her 100 percent.”

We Took Turns Fucking A Replica of Reagan’s Eye Socket

Jon Stewart opened The Daily Show on Wednesday by addressing the media furor over his “secret” meetings with President Barack Obama, while mocking Fox News and Politico for hyping the encounters.
“It was a roundtable meeting with the President, Elvis — still alive — Minister [Louis] Farrakhan, and the Area 51 alien,” Stewart quipped. “We opened with the traditional Saul Alinsky prayer, sucked on the blood of the righteous, and took turns fucking a replica of the Reagan eye socket. The real Reagan eye socket is kept in the Smithsonian and is only fucked on Christmas.”
While Politico misidentified Stewart’s executive producer, Steve Bodow, as “Scott Budow,” Stewart said, Fox went out of its way to describe the meetings as Stewart being “summoned” clandestinely, despite the host’s visits being recorded on the official White House logs.

“Something is not a secret just because you don’t know about it,” Stewart chided, saying he agreed to meet with Obama because “If the president tells you to and you don’t, who the f*ck knows what would happen?”

In reality, the host said, his discussions with Obama played out not unlike his final interview with the president last week: spending the majority of the time arguing over issues like the Affordable Care Act website or the Veterans Affairs Bureau over salmon dishes.

Stewart did confess that, during his tenure leading the show, he had been approached by individuals ranging from “tech giants, to financial captains, to Billy Joel,” all basically asking, “Jon, why are you such an assshole?” — and the meetings with Obama were no different. Among those people, he noted, was Fox News chief Roger Ailes.

“In fact, in my entire tenure here of being yelled at by some very influential and powerful individuals — and Billy Joel — only with one of those people has a phone call ever ended with, ‘This conversation never happened, and if you say it did, I’ll deny it.’ And it wasn’t the fucking president,'” he said, while looking toward a graphic representing Ailes.

“TRUMPS DOUCHEBAGGERY”

Liberal Fox News contributor Jehmu Greene encouraged Republicans to “own up to the fact” that GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s “douchebaggery” reflected the base that had controlled the party for the past seven years.

After Sen. John McCain criticized Trump’s supporters as “crazies,” Trump fired back at a forum on Saturday by taking a shot at his war hero status.

Although Weekly Standard Editor Bill Kristol had praised Trump after he recently called Mexicans rapists, the magazine’s online editor told Fox News on Sunday that the candidate had gone too far by questioning McCain’s military service.

“It’s probably the beginning of the end for Donald Trump,” Daniel Halper explained, pointing out that Republicans did not like “the questioning of war heroes.”

“I hoped that it was the beginning of the end when he first dipped his toe in the waters,” Jehmu Greene responded. “Because this is just a continuation of his douchebaggery and has been accepted for so long that finally they’ve come to their senses because, I guess, he has now finally crossed the line. But he crossed many lines quite some time ago.”

At that point Halper tried to shift the conversation to activists who recently shouted down Democratic candidate Martin O’Malley after they perceived that he downplayed the “Black Lives Matter” movement by saying “white lives matter.”

Greene called that a “perfect line of distraction and deflection… when you have the person who is leading in the polls saying things about our military men and women that is so offensive and still not wanting to own up to the fact that in the Fox News poll he was at the top just last week.”
“What is going on in the Republican Party?” Greene continued. “What does it take for you all to take your party back from the crazies that have had control of it for about seven years now?”

WHAAAAAAAT?

Daily Show host Jon Stewart and his team mocked Fox News on Monday for taking the weird story of Rachel Dolezal and feeding it to their “exhausting, 24-hour Benghazi Obamaphone culture war dog whistle Who-gives-a-fuckotron.”

Stewart himself was somewhat befuddled that Dolezal, a white woman of Czech, Swedish and German descent, would go so far as to not only pretend to be black, but become head of the Spokane chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) before resigning amid a hail of criticism after her ruse was made public.

JON STEWART HAMMERS BULLSHIT MOUNTAIN FOR ITS DOUBLE STANDARD

Daily Show host Jon Stewart slayed Fox News on Thursday for hypocritically demanding that “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” protesters apologize after refusing to admit that it was wrong in reporting on the Benghazi embassy attacks.
“They demand accountability for anger and divisiveness whilst holding themselves entirely unaccountable for their anger and divisiveness. For two years, they used Benghazi as shorthand, as a symbol for the whole concept of a corrupt, lying, tyrannical — possibly murderous — Obama White House,” Stewart said. “Kind of how other people used ‘Hands Up Don’t Shoot’ as a symbol for systemic racism. There’s really only one difference between the two phenomena: systemic racism actually exists.”
VIDEO COURTESY OF COMEDY CENTRAL

Stewart pointed out that, while Fox hosts have focused all of their attention on a Justice Department report finding no evidence that Michael Brown had his hands up when he was shot and killed by Officer Darren Wilson last year, they have pointedly ignored that the department also found extensive evidence that Wilson’s colleagues on the Ferguson Police Department systematically targeted the city’s black residents for citations and traffic stops — a pattern of discrimination which lent itself to a flashpoint incident like the shooting.

FOX NEWS DOCUMENTARY THAT EXPOSES THE NEWS GROUP - IS OUT FOR ALL TO SEE

Cross-posted from RawStory.com:

Brave New Films has put Robert Greenwald’s anti-Fox News documentary Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism online in its entirety.

The film charts the rise of Fox News, outlining the marketing-based techniques that make the channel such “compelling” viewing — the “Fox News Alert,” the blurring of journalism and commentary, and the deceptive use of the chyron, i.e. the lower third of the viewing area on a typical television screen.

In addition to that, the film also reviews Fox New’s coverage both of the 2000 presidential election and the run-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq, demonstrating how the network successfully established the talking points used by those in the so-called “liberal media.”

Fox News responded to the film first by claiming that director Greenwald had engaged in serial copyright infringement when he used clips from Fox News programs, then by attacking the reputations of all the former Fox News employees who testified to their experiences at the network in the film.
