“We have something called ‘equal time’ in America so now the other candidates are getting their 25 things you don’t know about me,” Maher explained before sharing a few.Included in the list:
“I spent my entire freshman year of high school stuffed in a locker.”
“My nickname at Princeton was Fuckface”
“I named the stick up my ass, ‘Hank.'”
“Mirrors don’t show my reflection.”
“The truth is that no one cares what his name is,” Rollins wrote. “He will be dimly remembered as the asshole who signed that fucked-up bill that embarrassed the majority of North Carolinians.”Rollins became the latest culture figure to criticize HB2, which bars trans residents from using public restrooms according to their gender identities, and also struck down anti-discrimination statutes implemented in Charlotte.
“If McCrory eventually caves and tries to repeal it, everyone will know it’s because he values money over his homophobia, which he has poorly disguised as moral rectitude and common sense,” the former Black Flag frontman argued. “Either way he’s fucked.”Rollins also revealed that he used to live in North Carolina for several summer seasons during his youth, and described it as “a great state in which to be a broke band on the road,” because of both the amount of venues in college towns in which he could perform and the number of fans who would open their homes to him after shows.
“Judging from the people of the state I have met over almost 50 years, I can’t believe they are pleased with House Bill 2. They probably are wondering how they got to where they are now,” he wrote.
“Donald Trump crushed it,” Noah said, “On probably the best night of his life that didn’t involve a swimsuit competition.”
“What we got to see yesterday was a new Trump,” Noah continued. “He was succinct. Disciplined. And respectful. Which, according to the media, made him presidential as balls.”
“‘And he wasn’t racist. And he didn’t call any female reporters a bimbo? This guy is ready for the White House — give him the codes!'” Noah mocked Kelly.
“This is ridiculous,” Noah continued. “Trump has basically lowered the media’s expectation so much that not insulting someone seems presidential to them. That’s a tactic straight from The Art of The Deal. Wear people down so that they will accept the bare minimum.”
“Trump stabbed a stranger of Fifth Avenue!” Noah smirked. “Yeah, but at least he didn’t shoot them. He’s so presidential!”
“Kroll …. blames the crime surge on a shrinking police force and greater scrutiny of police that has left some officers disengaged,” the Star Tribune reported. “The slowdown in policing has been noticeable.”Police have made nearly half as many proactive stops this year through April 11 as they had during the same period last year — with 3,706 in 2016 versus 7,732 last year.
“With all due respect, it baffles me that anyone, including police officers, can disagree with ‘greater scrutiny of the police,'” Yang said. “You should do your job and do it well, whether 800,000 eyes are watching or none. The idea of some officers disengaging is troubling."
“It was the left that brought about the bathroom bill, not the right,” he insisted. “The city of Charlotte passed a mandate on every private sector employer in North Carolina, one of the largest cities in the United States of America. And I think that’s government overreach.”
“You talk about overreach,” Todd interrupted. “You say Charlotte overreached. How did the state of North Carolina, the state government not overreach in just the same way?”
“This has been a long debate in the city of Charlotte, this is where they came down,” the Meet the Press host pointed out. “You guys debated for like 10 seconds.”
“We’ve got to have more dialogue and not threats,” McCory said, adding that there was a “disconnect” between “corporate suites and main street.”
“That’s a very thoughtful thing for you to say about dialogue,” Todd shot back. “Where was the dialogue?”According to McCrory, the legislature felt that it needed to act fast to stymie Charlotte’s ordinance because “once it came into effect, it would be harder to overturn.”
“Which makes me want to overturn [Citizens United] because I don’t know who their donors are,” he quipped. “They are putting on a lot of pressure instead of having good dialogue.”
“In presidential politicking, symbolism is a deliberate choice. And racial provocation is something with a deep and resonant history,” she said. “It is one thing to do that as a small-fry politician; it is another thing to do it as a front-runner for a major party’s presidential nomination. Being a presidential front-runner is a powerful thing. It can also be a dangerous thing if you want it to be.”Trump appeared on Thursday afternoon in Patchogue, New York, for a Suffolk County Republican Party fundraiser, at a venue not far from the train station where Marcelo Lucero, who emigrated to the US from Ecuador, was stabbed to death after being attacked by a group of seven teenagers. Jeffrey Conroy, who was 17 years old at the time of the attack, was later convicted of first-degree manslaughter as a hate crime and sentenced to 25 years in prison.
“Patchogue’s history of racist and fatal hate crimes against Latino immigrants is not necessarily a nationally-famous story,” she said. “But it is a New York-famous story. Donald Trump has not yet won the Republican nomination — he’s still trying to win the New York primary — but campaigning in Patchogue today on the street where Marcelo Lucero was murdered, it means something specific in New York.”
I read with interest Jeff Immelt’s spirited response to Sen. Bernie Sanders putting GE on his hit-list of big corporations that are “destroying the moral fabric” of America..In fact, I share his frustration. Verizon is in Sanders’s bull’s-eye, as well. The senator’s uninformed views are, in a word, contemptible…McAdam challenged Sanders’ assertion that Verizon has avoided paying taxes, citing financial statements that show the company has paid $15.6 billion in the last two years, which would add up to a 35% tax rate last year.
“How are you going to get jobs for them?” O’Reilly asked. “Many of them are ill-educated and have tattoos on their foreheads, and I hate to be generalized about it but it’s true. If you look at all the educational statistics, how are you going to give jobs to people who aren’t qualified for jobs?”
“What the fuck did you just…” Wilmore said astounded. “Just so you know, Bill O’Reilly, I’m one of those rare black people who don’t have a forehead tattoo. But if I did, it’d be this,” he said pulling out a sign that says “FUCK U O’Reilly.”
“If you have a forehead, you, too can tell Bill O’Reilly to go fuck himself,” Wilmore said.
“African-Americans for far too long have been painted as the other,” she explained. “And the term itself — predator — is bad enough. Adding super-predator to it adds another dimension, and we know the impact that has on the African-American community.”Rep. Hakeen Jeffries noted that Hillary Clinton had apologized for using the term “super-predators” in the 1990s, and he argued that the focus on terminology was a sign of “desperation” from the Sanders campaign.
“You are right,” Turner shot back. “Desperate people do desperate things and the Clinton campaign is very desperate right now… Let’s talk about consistency. Sen. Sanders has been consistent standing up for the working poor and the middle class in this country. He doesn’t change his message based on what will resonate with the voters.”
“Some in the African-American community do feel used,” she added. “I would argue that the secretary is enjoying this history, the brand loyalty that African-Americans tend to have.”
“So, let’s roll the tape,” Turner challenged Jeffries. “Let’s compare what [Sanders] said 30 or 40 years ago to the secretaries record up until this point and you will see who has been the most honest and consistent champion for the people of America.”
“Well, we have rolled the tape,” Jeffries replied. “And African-Americans throughout the country, including in your home state of Ohio, have consistently concluded that Secretary Clinton is best qualified to continue the Obama legacy.”
“God I love being back in the Fat Apple,” she explains. “My home state — except for Illinois and Arkansas — but they’ve already voted, so we cool, we cool.”Donning a Yankees hat, she fake noshes on a New York hot dog and street vendor peanuts before flipping the hat around exposing a Mets logo, saying, “Ah. God I love those New York Meets!”
“To Susan Sarandon who said Trump might be better for America than me,” Clinton stated, “Why don’t you take Tuesday to go drive off another cliff.”
“Either Ted Cruz — a man with all the appeal of Jared from Subway, minus the inspiring weight-loss story — or Donald Trump, the zombie candidate,” he said. What the party should do, Maher argued, is just “punt” this year and play defense against Hillary Clinton.
“With Donald Trump, I’ve had some real issues with him. On the other hand, in no way am I comparing him to Ted Cruz,” King said. “Ted Cruz — anyone in New York who even thinks of voting for Ted Cruz is a nut!”
“What if Ted Cruz is the nominee, Congressman King?” host Trish Regan asked. “What if Ted Cruz is the nominee — what do you do, then?”
“I tell you, I don’t know — I’ll get some cyanide,” King said. “I don’t know what I’ll do. I mean, I’ll just — you know, not gonna tell you.”A stunned Regan asked again: “Will you vote for him?”
“Listen, put it this way: I will endorse the nominee of the party,” King concluded. “But it wouldn’t be the most, you know, vociferous support.”About a year ago, much earlier in the presidential primary season, King previously entertained other possible methods of suicide in the event of a Cruz nomination — having long despised the Texas senator over such issues as his role in the 2013 government shutdown, and that “he doesn’t carry out an intelligent debate” with anyone.
“Religious business owners in the state would rather lose out on business because they’re so hateful toward a specific group of people,” she said. “Think about that for a second. Just bake the fucking cake and shut the fuck up. Seriously, why is it such a big deal? What’s gonna happen? Do you think that as you’re in the process of blending your ingredients, you might think about touching some other man’s dick? What goes through their minds? Just get over it.”
“Here’s one thing that Republican politicians eventually listen to: businessmen,” co-host Cenk Uygur argued. “When corporate powers start telling you to bow your head, that’s what Republican politicians were made for.”
“That’s crazy,” Coulter replied. “I thought the full exchange was fabulous.”
“It was a stupid hypothetical question that has absolutely no bearing on what a president does,” she added. “It is like asking a president, ‘If you were a tree, what tree would you be?'”
“It is known as hyperbole, Charlie,” Coulter shot back. “This is what I mean. Suddenly the conservative movement has forgotten the meaning of hyperbole. They won’t criticize anything. Any misstep by Trump is completely blown up, even though it is nothing.”Coultergeist is a parasite whose fifteen minutes of fame was up ten years ago. Her relevance to politics has fallen on deaf ears.
“You know, I have a great sense of humor. My mother loved it — she thought it was the funniest thing; she’s gonna watch it every morning,” Hughes said.In the skit, Hughes is portrayed by cast member Cecily Strong, who explains, “As a woman I like Donald Trump, but as a full-blown nutjob, I friggin’ love him!”
“Talk about the ultimate shaming, the ultimate sexism,” she said. “What does ‘SNL’ want me to do? Be barefoot and pregnant or maybe just talk about parenting issues?”In an interview with The Blaze, Hughes went further saying she was “shaken” by how she was portrayed and that “tears were shed.”
“You’ve never known SNL to parody any conservative in a positive way — either male or female,” she said, “I don’t get paid to be positive about Mr. Trump. I’ve never been paid by him.”According to Hughes, she was watching the episode and her daughter who asked her, “Why do they think you’re crazy?”
“So that was hard,” she said. “I had to explain that mean people and bullying doesn’t stop in elementary school. It continues throughout your life.”
“At some point we have to say, you know what, we’re better off if Japan protects itself against this maniac in North Korea,” Trump told Cooper. “We’re better off, frankly, if South Korea is going to start to protect itself.”
“It’s ‘a big place’ is not a good excuse for using nuclear weapons,” Oliver explained. “It’s barely a good excuse for peeing in the ocean.”Oliver then turned to comments made by President Obama about Trump’s interview, with the president stating that Trump “doesn’t know much about foreign policy, or nuclear policy, or the Korean Peninsula, or the world generally.”
“President Obama is basically implying there that you could fill a book with the things Donald Trump doesn’t know,” Oliver translated. “That book being the encyclopedia.”

TRUMPS WAR ON WOMEN IS NOW NUCLEAR
“Look, people in certain parts of the Republican Party, conservative Republicans, would say, ‘Yes, it should,’” Trump replied, according to a transcript obtained by Bloomberg. “I would say it’s a very serious problem and it’s a problem we have to decide on. Are you going to send them to jail?”
“There has to be some form of punishment,” he said.
“For the woman?” Matthews pressed.
“Yeah,” Clownstick replied, adding that the punishment would “have to be determined.”
“They’ve set the law and frankly the judges, you’re going to have a very big election coming up for that reason because you have judges where it’s a real tipping point and with the loss of Scalia, who was a very strong conservative, this presidential election is going to be very important,” the candidate opined. “When you say what’s the law, nobody knows what the law is going to be. It depends on who gets elected.”
“After saying you were going to spill the beans about Heidi Cruz, you retweeted an unflattering picture of her next to a picture of your wife,” Cooper said in reference to Trump spreading an unflattering picture of Heidi Cruz online set side-by-side with one depicting Melania Trump more favorably.
“I thought it was a nice picture of Heidi. I thought it was fine,” Trump replied, prompting Cooper to say, “Come on.”
“I thought it was fine,” Trump insisted. “She’s a pretty woman.”
“You’re running for president of the United States,” Cooper said.
“Excuse me. I didn’t start it,” Trump said.
“Sir, with all due respect, that’s the argument of a 5-year-old,” Cooper shot back. “The argument of a 5-year-old is he started it.”
“Every parent knows a kid who says, ‘He started it,'” the host said.Trump then accused Cruz of sending the picture. When Cooper noted that it was actually the work of an anti-Trump super PAC, Trump then blamed “Mittens Romney people.”
“Romney is embarrassed that he did so badly four years ago,” Trump ranted. “The guy choked like a dog.”
“Do you have proof he sent it out?” Cooper asked.
“Everybody knows he sent it out,” Trump responded. “He knew the people in the super PAC.”Fuckface has proven time and time again why he can’t be anywhere near the White House! This lone instance proves that this narcissistic putz has the mind of grade school bully.
“This man is running for president on a platform that is just a giant ‘f*ck you’ to the above-the-law billionaire class who have been controlling government policy with their money and not paying a nickel in taxes through government loopholes they secure with said money.”Silverman also identified herself as a former supporter of Sanders’ opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, even though it meant rationalizing Clinton’s financial support on the part of corporate donors.
“Every politician takes money from big money, ever since it was made legal through Citizens United,” Silverman explained. “It’s legalized corruption. If all the other ball players are taking steroids, you have to take steroids too to compete, right?”
“Good lord, under President Sanders, don’t worry, you can still become a super-rich asshole,” Silverman said. “It’s just that your fellow hard-working citizens don’t have to feed their children cat food in order for you to do it.”At the same time, she assured viewers she did not want to push anyone into voting.
“If you vote or not, that’s not my business — I’m not your money,” she said. “Though like your mommy, I have a completely full bush.”

CREEPY TED CRUZ
“And as we remember the gift of salvation on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, let us be so bold to ask the same,” Cruz said in a statement on Good Friday. Yet, on Easter Sunday, Cruz was singing a different tune, doubling down on his desire to “carpet bomb” the Middle East.
“But we need a president who will bring the full force and fury of the United States of America to defeating ISIS,” Cruz continued. “Shannon, I’ll tell you, if I’m president, we will utterly and completely destroy ISIS. We will carpet bomb them into oblivion, using overwhelming airpower. We will arm the Kurds on the ground. We will use our forces to defeat them and we won’t put our forces in combat with the rules of engagement that Obama is so fond of that tie their arms behind their back that make it impossible for them to fight and win. That is wrong and that is immoral.
“If and when we use military force, we will use it to win, to defeat our enemies with overwhelming force and then we’ll get the heck out. We won’t engage in nation-building, but rather, we’ll keep America safe,” Cruz concluded.
“And it’s what the Russians have been accused of doing in parts of northwest Syria,” he said explaining why Cruz’s strategy was wrong. “Right now we have the moral high ground, and I think that’s where we need to stay.”
“At the end of the day, it doesn’t only matter whether or not you win, it matters how you win,” he continued. “And we’re the United States of America and we have a set of guiding principles and those effect the way we as professional soldiers, airmen, sailors, Marines, conduct ourselves on the battlefield.”

CREEPY MAN OR ORANGUTAN MAN?
“Donald Trump wants to build a wall to keep out creepy foreigners,” Maher explained. “Ted Cruz is proof we need it.”Both conservatives and liberals, Maher said, have come to him asking for help deciding between the two.
“Republicans, I feel your pain,” he said. “You’re stuck between a rock and a gross place. The House of Asshole or the House of Douchebag. Team Werewolf or Team Vampire. Verizon or AT&T. But we have to accept that being a grown-up means hard choices between disgusting options.”
“The best form of birth control is listening to republicans discussion birth control ~ Roger West 2012Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley, who has campaigned on old-fashioned Christian values, has now been publicly humiliated amid allegations of an affair — and the release of an audio recording in which he is clearly caught in a compromised position.
· “So I mean, it was fine…he couldn’t tell who I was sending it to. And it didn’t say, ‘Hey baby, I love you so much and I’d like to spend the rest of my life with you.'”
· “You’d kiss me. I love that you know I do love that. You know what, when I stand behind you, and I put my arms around you, and I put my arms on your breasts, and I put my head… and pull you real close. “
· “Hey, I love that, too, putting my hands under you.”
· “I love you. I love to talk to you.”
· “But baby, let me tell you what we’ve gonna have to do tonight, start locking the door. If we’re gonna do what we did the other day, we’re gonna have to start locking the door.”
“Unfortunately there are still some people who are set on hindering the ability of women to work in the political arena,” Mason said in a statement. “I am proud of what I have accomplished in my professional career. And I am grateful for the opportunities God has given me to serve our state.”
“It just seems that, if we are ever going to get to the dream of Martin Luther King, Jr., that he spoke just down the Mall, he wanted people to be judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin,” the Texas Republican opined. “I know after race has been an issue that needed attention, then gender appropriately got attention.”
“It just seems like, when we come in and we say that it is important that for a while we discriminate, we end up getting behind,” he continued. “And then probably 25 years from now boys are going to have fallen behind in numbers, and then we are going to need to come in and say: Actually, when we passed that bill forcing encouragement of girls and not encouraging of little boys, we were getting behind the eight ball. We didn’t see that we were going to be leaving little boys in the ditch, and now we need to start doing programs to encourage little boys.”According to the lawmaker, the bill passed on Tuesday would have derailed the Madame Curie’s research, putting “millions and millions of lives” in jeopardy.
“I thank God that there wasn’t a program like this that distracted her,” Gohmert said. “But according to the bill that we passed today, we are requiring the Science Foundation to encourage entrepreneurial programs to recruit and support women to extend their focus beyond the laboratory and into the commercial world. Thank God that is not what Madame Curie did.”Gohmert, Amash and Massie also voted against a second bill that would encourage mentorship programs between scientists and female K-12 students. That bill passed 380-3.
“Humm, no, I don’t believe you. Whether or not you like Obama there are many worse things that have happened to Isreal,” Wilmore said, citing religious persecution “and 5,000 more years of religious persecution!” Trump played up his daughter’s pregnancy, saying that she was about to have a beautiful Jewish baby. “The level of pandering here is just so amateurish here,” Wilmore continued. “Most politicians kiss a baby, his daughter is having a Jewish baby.”When it comes to the media’s commentary on the speech, no one seemed to care about the content it was the teleprompter that people said made him look like a leader. “Are they shocked that Trump can read!?” Wilmore exclaimed. “The bar is set so low for this little puchan fisted ignorant orangesicle that they’re actually fawning over the fact that he can read a speech?” By contrast, when Obama was elected he was mercilessly criticized for bringing a teleprompter with him to speeches.
“Why are you cockblocking this gentle law Hobbit?” she demanded to know.Bee rejected the rationale from “half-melted Reagan dummy from Madame Tussaud’s wax museum” Ted Cruz and other Republicans that President Barack Obama should leave the high court with a vacancy because he is a “lame duck.”
“Jesus Christ, he’s not a lame duck,” Bee said. “He’s three trimesters away from lame duckery. A president’s term is four years; you can’t say three of them are legitimate and the fourth is garbage. They’re not Indiana Jones movies.”
