Hate radio has run amuck circa 2010 especially for the right.
Conservative Talk Radio (or bullshit of the right ) is a talk radio format in the United States devoted to expressing conservative extremist hardcore viewpoints of issues. The format became widely implemented since the 1987 abolition of the Fairness Doctrine, and now has become the most widely listened to form of political talk radio. It is home to nationally prominent and syndicated personalities such as Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Glenn Beck, Bill Cunningham, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Michael Reagan, John Gibson, Lars Larson, Neal Boortz, Michael Medved, Michael Savage, Curtis Sliwa, Tom Sullivan, Michael Smerconish and Fred Thompson.
Right wing hate radio clogs the airwaves in every city and they are anal in defense of their less than correct stance on "policy". We used to say that "a conservative is someone who was improperly toilet trained". But that doesn't fully explain the pathological loathing of Coulter, Loesch, Beck, Ingraham, and other hate mongers of the right whom occupy the airwaves. Perhaps they didnt receive enough attention from their mommy as children? Counseling would help. Maybe meds. But until then, you have to match their vehemence, if not their scatological insults.
Facts will not change the mind of the hate radio personality. NFTOS feels that we must match their passion on an emotional level. Is it really worth arguing with people who get all their opinions from biased cable news (aka Fox News) and hate radio?
Aside from simply lying and inciting anger into their listeners, the "Taliban" wing of the GOP tend to use different types of verbal gymnastics. When you make a valid, supported criticism of their extremist ideology, is really when the mudslinging erupts, and mudslinging can take many forms. The hate radio monger and tea bagger will demonize you if you let them. They don't dare try to counter the facts you've presented to them in any forum. NFTOS doubts they understand the facts against them. But they do lay claim to having the "smartest girls" in the land that are "supporting the last defense".
NFTOS has to admit, when it gets to the schoolyard taunting level, we might as well get in the trenches with them and have fun. You're never going to win the argument against them. They are MUCH better at personal insults than you or I shall ever claim to be, having spent more time listening to professional whiners and cry babies like Limbaugh, Beck, Loesch, Breitbart, and Ingraham than they have talking to their family.
On the October 23, 2006, broadcast of his radio show, Rush Limbaugh imitated on the "Ditto Cam" (the webcam for Web site subscribers to see him on the air) the physical symptoms actor Michael J. Fox showed in a television commercial raising awareness of Parkinson's disease. Rush said "[Fox] is exaggerating the effects of the disease. He's moving all around and shaking and it's purely an act".WTF! Really readers we can't make this stuff up!
Yes Rush is yet another 'intelligent" radio host and tea bagger. (Actually he fits the tea bagger to a T. Add Limbaugh to the plethora of other tea baggers whom have failed or flunked out of higher education).
Because of conservative talk radio, America is more divided than ever. The level of political discourse has never been lower, thanks to the actual participation of conservatives in political discourse. Sadly, until the hatemongering Dana Loesch's of the airwaves are silenced, we will continue to inch closer to the brink of a insanity and neander in the land of ridiculous.
Right wing, hate-radio hypocrites like Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage, Dana Loesch, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity are exercising their constitutional right when they call people like you and I traitors, communists, and fools, or when they imply that we may be homosexuals because we disagree with them.
Radio network executives know that a street corner fist fight will attract a crowd. In the contest to capture audience, they hire ''hosts'' (term used very loosely)to provoke and often participate in these fist fights of the air. A arena that Dana Loesch has mastered well, might we add!
The abrasive and contentious personalities they tend to hire encourage listeners to give voice to prejudices, unabashed racism, irrational fury or, as NFTOS puts it, the desire to ''cut off heads.'' This venom, which is often visceral or covert, is released and sent out over the airwaves to excite or infect others generally and the new generation in particular.
To whatever extent this snarling out becomes, acting out is a consequence of talk radio for which the radio executives must assume some responsibility.
"Brains as we know, are suspect in the Republican Party. Indeed there are some Republicans we would trust with anything-anything, that is, except public office. NFTOS believes that it is high time the Republicans practices what they preach about people taking responsibility for their actions. When this very hate they encourage turns into actual physical violence then the Dana Loesch's of the world shall also be held accountable as the executive whom placed her in front of the mike! When we get potential New York Billionaire Tea Bag Governors threatening to "take reporters out" when confronted with queries, probably says that hate radio, and hate politics has gone to far.
Live with that "smart-girl" Dana.............
