TED "I SHIT MY PANTS TO AVOID THE DRAFT " NUGENT IS THE ADOLF HITLER OF HELPLESS ANIMALS

TED THE PANTS SHITTER AND HIS VERSION OF THE BAY OF PIGS

Nugent's version of the "Bay of Pigs"!

All around douche bag Ted Nugent has revealed an unusual hobby. And it’s all for the benefit of “Bill Maher and all those other animal rights freaks out there.”

Nugent reportedly told the full story to Sirius XM’s Brett Winterble.
“I took my machine gun in the helicopter — in the Texas hill country – me and my buddy ‘Pigman’ … his name is ‘Pigman’ – I’m the swine czar. I killed 455 hogs with my machine gun. I did it for Bill Maher and all those other animal rights freaks out there.”

My first thought was, did this pant's shitter fly over one his concerts and start shooting?

A look back at Nugent’s Twitter account shows that this wasn’t the first time he had partaken in this pastime. He posted this provocative message back in January:

During the radio interview, Nugent went on to explain that his actions were meant to help “save the environment from the destruction of these out-of-control pigs and I’m not talking about Washington D.C. or San Francisco … I’m actually talking about actual pigs.”

And he didn’t just let the 455 hogs go to waste. “We distributed tons of the most delicious pork to the soup kitchens and homeless shelters of this state,” Nugent said “Everything we did was perfect – win win win.”

If the first “win” was saving the environment and the second “win” was feeding the homeless, we can only assume that the third “win” was the pure enjoyment Nugent got from shooting his machine gun. If you throw in pissing off Bill Maher, you might as well throw in one more “win,” making Nugent’s actions “win win win win.”

Maher has yet to respond to Nugent’s boasts, via Twitter or any other means of communication. But no one should be surprised if this story ends up as one of his “New Rules” on Friday.

Here's hoping that the next time the pants shitter enters a helo, that he accidently leans to far out and falls.

Ted the pants shitter Nugent, todays worst person in the world.

THIRD TIME IS NOT A CHARM

As House Teapublicans prepare to unveil the third iteration of Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) budget on Tuesday, some rank-and-file members are visibly uncomfortable defending the measure’s reliance on President Obama’s policies to achieve balance in 10 years.

During an appearance on CNN’s Starting Point on Monday morning, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) struggled to explain why the blueprint will include more than $600 billion in additional revenue that was part of the fiscal cliff compromise if Republicans oppose increasing marginal tax rates and overwhelmingly voted against the measure:

Chaffetz ultimately conceded that the GOP lost on the tax issue and is now looking to benefit from the very changes they claimed would hamstring the economy and undermine job growth.

The budget will also likely include Medicare savings from the Affordable Care Act and “adjustments for an expected decline in war spending, a move that could reduce assumed expenditures by up to $600 billion over the next decade.” Ryan has consistently derided war savings as “phantom savings” and promised to restore the Medicare cuts during his vice presidential bid.

Aside from adopting Obama’s policies, the budget will likely assume unrealistic levels of revenue to achieve balance in 10 years.

"THE ONLY THING THATS STOPS A BAD GUY WITH A GUN IS A GOOD GUY WITH A GUN"

Time and time again we are going to find that the famous idiotic quote of Wayne LaPierre is going to come back and bite him in the posterior.

The second "good guy" to be killed within months of each other, the first being Chris Kyle, America's number one SEAL sniper, and now the host of The Sportsman Channel’s “A Rifleman’s Journal” was shot and killed in Montana on Friday. The gunman, seemingly a jealous husband, then turned the weapon on himself.

Gregory Rodriguez not only hosted his own hunting show. He was also an editor of Shooting Times and wrote for Guns & Ammo magazine. He was also the CEO of Global Adventure Outfitters, a hunting supply store. But that all ended Friday after the gunman found Rodriguez with his wife, who works an ammunitions manufacturer, together:

Police say that at around 10:30 p.m. the woman’s husband, Wayne Bengston, came to the house and then shot Rodriguez and brutally beat his wife.

Police say Bengston then drove off with his 2-year old son who had been sleeping in the house and drove away.

He left the boy unharmed with a relative and then drove to his house in West Glacier.

That’s where Flathead County deputies and a SWAT team found his truck.

Authorities say they attempted to contact Bengston with no success, and when they entered his house they found Bengston dead of a gunshot wound to the head.

The episode is a sad but pivotal reminder that even responsible gun owners will find themselves at the mercy of an unhinged gunman, and that they are not always going to win the OK Corral shoot out - and that National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre’s claim that, “the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun” doesn’t always hold up.

Rogriguez’s show was hunting-specific, but the Sportsman Channel does have a relationship with the National Rifle Association and its lobbying arm.

CREDIT WHERE IT'S NOT DUE

The house version of the American Taliban who voted against the final passage of the Violence Against Women Act [VAWA] are taking credit for helping renew the domestic abuse legislation.

I have said numerous times, that there is nothing beyond the pale of the GOP, they are truly a special kind of stupid.

The lawmakers’ desire to have it both ways reflects the irreconcilable tension between wanting to appear on the right side of an extremely popular issue and wanting to preserve their credibility with American Taliban groups who vowed to punish those who voted for VAWA.

DECEPTION GOP STYLE: ED SCHULTZ

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

The GOP's war on women is well documented on this blog, but the fact that these spineless people fought tooth and nail against this version of the bill and now take credit for it, these are the very humans whom will stab their own birth mother in the back for glamour and glitz and accolades of the Koch whores.

The facts:
House Republicans voted 87-138 against final passage of VAWA. They voted for the failed GOP alternative. The final VAWA, which passed 78-22 in the Senate, cleared the House 286-138, with mostly Democratic votes.

The fact that these GOPers are willing to do this type [while its a just another bowl movement from the party hate and discontent] of politicking, the politics of telling their people in town hall meetings one thing and then voting in Washington differently, is a reminder to vote these asshats out office when the time comes.

The sad business of this is, the unlettered GOP voter is not able to comprehend the hypocrisy of it all, or if they are cognizant enough they turn a blind eye. Which is worse?

Gee what a surprise it is to see these very same hypocrites who posed for pictures holding big stimulus checks at home after they voted against the stimulus in Congress.

The list of lying deceptive GOPers are: Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.), Rep. Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.), Rep. Keith Rothfus (R-Pa.), Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), Reps. Tim Griffin (R-AR), Bill Johnson (R-OH).and Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Pa.)

The douche bag's of all douche bag's, the hicks from the sticks, these GOPers who are so low they can walk under a snake's belly and never muss a hair. Certainly consistency in deceiving our country would be considered some sort of virtue by someone, somewhere.

BRIETBART FLUNKY CAN NOW ADD CONVICTED PROBIE CRIMINAL TO HIS RESUME

JAMES O'KEEFE, DOUCHE BAG EXTRAORDINAIRE

Conservative blowhard and media fixture James O’Keefe rose to stardom in 2009 after posting an undercover video supposedly showing employees of the now-defunct Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) agreeing to help him smuggle underage prostitutes into the US. The video circulated widely in the conservative blogosphere, where activists saw the clip as proof that ACORN, a major force in community organizing and voter registration drives, was corrupt. O’Keefe’s sting destroyed ACORN’s reputation and the employee, Juan Carlos Vera, was fired.

Only later did it come to light that Vera called the police to report O’Keefe after he left. Four years after the video went viral, O’Keefe has agreed to pay a $100,000 settlement to Vera.

By filming Vera, O’Keefe may have violated a state law against secret recordings of an individual’s voice and image. Though he was granted immunity from criminal prosecution after turning over the raw videos to the California attorney general’s office, Vera and other ACORN employees sued O’Keefe privately:
In the settlement, O’Keefe says that before the video was shown on TV or posted on the Web, he was unaware of Vera’s assertion that he had called the police to report O’Keefe and Giles for proposing an illegal act. The lawsuit was filed on the assertion that O’Keefe broke a state law prohibiting the surreptitious recording of someone’s voice and image.

O’Keefe’s other videos have been exposed as either complete lies or deceptively edited. Last year O’Keefe’s attempt to expose voter fraud by non-citizens actually featured US citizens. The conservative activist has also been arrested for trying to bug a Senator’s phone. In his ACORN pimp sting, O’Keefe deceptively edited in the famous pimp costume later, though he actually wore a suit and tie at the ACORN office.

O’Keefe’s settlement is the latest blow to the credibility of radical conservative media. Breitbart.com made a stir by accusing now-confirmed Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel of taking money from a shadowy organization with the outlandish name “Friends of Hamas” — a group that turned out to be fictional. Soon after, allegations by the Daily Caller that Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) had hired a prostitute turned out to be entirely fabricated. The fake scandal had also been shopped around to the New York Post and the Star-Ledger Time, but neither could find any evidence to publish the story. Larger conservative media outlets like the Drudge Report, however, enthusiastically amplified these stories with little or no scrutiny.

Despite the payment, O’Keefe is refusing to back down. In a statement, he absolves himself of any liability, saying, “The settlement admits no liability and there is no benefit from extending this ridiculous lawsuit…Sadly, this is the cost of exposing the truth.”

Let's face it readers, this punk is the slime that runs through our cesspools. O'Keefe is a major reason why abortions should remain legal, and instead of the 100 grand fine - how about we make an example out of this mouth breather and [test Sean Hannity's theory that water boarding isn't torture] water board his posterior endlessly, Dick Cheney style?

LOONEY TUNES REACHES AN ALL TIME HIGH

THE AMERICAN TALIBAN MILITIA NUMBERS RISE

Thank you, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Rielly and Alex Jones. The below result could not have been achieved without your wild ravings, baseless accusations, and malignant buffoonery.

The Southern Poverty Law Center released a new report on Tuesday finding that “the number of conspiracy-minded antigovernment ‘Patriot’ groups reached an all-time high of 1,360 in 2012″ and that the number of hate groups has remained at “near record levels” of more than 1,000. The group is calling on the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security to increase the amount of resources devoted to tracking and combatting domestic radical anti-government groups.

The SPLC says the number of “Patriot” groups (of which, 321 are militia groups) is up 7 percent from 2011 and up an incredible 813 percent since 2009. (The SPLC defines Patriot groups being comprised of conspiracy theory-minded individuals who believe the federal government is run by secret “globalists” aimed at taking away American freedoms and establishing a global world order based on socialist principles; and defines a Militia group as a paramilitary wing of the former.)

“These numbers far exceed the movement’s peak in the 1990s, when militias were inflamed by the 1993 Brady Bill and the 1994 assault rifle ban,” an SPLC press release states.

SPLC Senior Fellow and lead author of the report Mark Potok said there are two main reasons why the numbers of Patriot and militia groups have skyrocketed since 2009: the election of the nation’s first black president, Barack Obama (which includes the coinciding nation-wide demographic changes) and fears compounded by the economic crisis and the mainstreaming of conspiracy theories. Adding fuel to the fire, Potok said in a press call on Tuesday, is Obama’s reelection and the debate on gun regulation after the shooting massacre in Newtown, CT in January.
“This is the fourth straight year of really explosive growth of Patriot and militia groups,” Potok said. “We’ve never seen this kind of growth in any group that we cover.”

SPLC President J. Richard Cohen sent a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano asking that their departments increase resources to combat the problem.
“In January,” the letter says, “a former Tennessee police chief who conducts weapons training for law enforcement threatened in a video posted on YouTube to ‘start killing people’ if President Obama uses his executive power to enact gun control measures.” Cohen adds that “the resources devoted to countering domestic hate and radical antigovernment groups and those they may inspire do not appear commensurate with the threat.”

Indeed, DHS stripped down its domestic terrorism unit after Napolitano ordered a 2009 report on domestic right-wing extremism withdrawn because of significant political backlash from mainstream conservatives.

Daryl Johnson, the 2009 DHS report’s lead author who subsequently wrote a book chronicling his experience at DHS and its lack of focus on domestic extremists, said on Tuesday in light of SPLC’s new report that he “can’t imagine what it will take for DHS to recognize this growing and dangerous threat within the homeland,” adding that the report “should raise a red flag and cause concern.”
“As in the period before the Oklahoma City bombing, we now are seeing ominous threats from those who believe that the government is poised to take their guns,” Cohen said in the SPLC’s press release, which adds: “In October 1994, the SPLC wrote to then-Attorney General Janet Reno about the growing threat of domestic extremism; the Oklahoma City federal building was bombed six months later in the country’s deadliest act of domestic terrorism.”

Anti-Government used to coincide with treason, now these both go with the American Taliban. Look out GOPers, the black helicopters full of gay Muslims are coming to take your guns!

GOP BUDGET GAMES

The stupidity within the American Taliban, well it runs deep and wide.

The GOP wants to defund ACORN again, even though it no longer exists. A new short-term budget bill introduced last Monday by House teapublicans includes a bizarre provision banning federal funding to anti-poverty group ACORN, despite the fact that the group has already been stripped of federal funding -- and has been defunct for nearly three years.

MADDOW

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

ACORN leaders announced that the group was disbanding in March 2010, after Congress cut off all federal funding to the organization. The provision in the current GOP budget bill [PDF], buried on page 221 of 269, would duplicate legislation that has already passed, to target an organization that does not exist.

Next up for these unlettered Neanderthals - is to defund the Lewis and Clark expedition and stop that pesky Louisiana Purchase! In the famous words of Buggs Bunny, "What A Maroon"!

MISSISSIPPI BURNING

MARCO McMILLIAN

What the fuck is wrong with people in this country? In yet another disgusting display of ignorance, hate and bigotry, we see that some troglodytes can't grasp that everyone has a right to occupy space in this land!
The family of Marco McMillian, a 33 year-old openly gay candidate for mayor of Clarksdale, Mississippi released a statement yesterday saying that he was beaten and set on fire before his lifeless body was dumped near a river. Last Thursday, police arrested a 22-year old man who, like McMillian, is African-American and charged him with the mayoral candidate’s murder. Although the motive for the murder remains unknown, the circumstances of the murder suggest a possible anti-gay hate crime. According to the family, “[w]e feel this was not a random act of violence based on the condition of the body when it was found.”

For all the so-called "Christians" out there preaching hatred against the gays, this is the bitter fruit of your bigotry asshats! True Christians preach love, not discrimination and hate.

Apparently the white ignorance of Mississippi is still alive and strong. These troglodytes will never evolve as a species until they can learn to appreciate others for their differences instead of hating and harming each other because of them.

Mississippi; that says it all in one word.

The state of Mississippi, you are today's worst people in the world!

MITTENS BLAMES MONORITIES FOR HIS LOSS

MITTENS BLAMES NON-WHITES FOR HIS POTUS FAILINGS

Yesterday, Faux News Sunday broadcast former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney first post-campaign interview. In it, he blamed his loss on his poor performance among minorities, who he claimed were seduced by the President’s promise to provide them with affordable health care:
ROMNEY: We did very well with the majority population, but not with minority populations, and that was a failing, that was a real mistake.

CHRIS WALLACE: Why do you think that was?

ROMNEY: Well, I think the Obamacare attractiveness and feature was something we underestimated, particularly among lower incomes. And, uh, just didn’t do as good a job in connecting with that audience as we should have.

During the course of the interview, Mittend agreed with Wallace that his “47 percent” comment — his claim that 47 percent of the country will vote for Obama because they are “dependent upon government” and “believe that they are victims” — hurt his campaign by leaving the impression that he did not like many voters. Nevertheless, this explanation of his loss is reminiscent of the explanation he gave his donors for his defeat shortly after the election — Obama won because of “the gifts” he gave to African-Americans, Latinos and young voters.

Ultimately, if teapublicans want to appeal voters who turned their backs on the GOP last November, maybe teapublicans should consider doing something that will actually make those voters’ lives better instead of working to slash Medicare, Medicaid, and education in order to pay for tax cuts for the very rich.

SEQUESTER BY THE NUMBERS

JOHN BOEHNER FAILS HIS COUNTRY

With Congress unable to reach a deal to avert the indiscriminate spending cuts put in place in the Budget Control Act of 2011, President Obama on Friday signed an order authorizing the government to begin canceling $85 billion from federal accounts for this fiscal year.

In a 83-page letter to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), the Office of Management and Budget details the specific reductions each government program will face. Here are the cuts:

HEALTHCARE:

$20 million cut from the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Programs
$10 million cut from the World Trade Center Health Program Fund
$168 million cut from Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
$75 million cut from the Aging and Disability Services Programs

HOUSING:

$199 million cut from public housing
$96 million cut from Homeless Assistance Grants
$17 million cut from Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS
$19 million cut from Housing for the Elderly
$175 million cut from Low Income Home Energy Assistance

EMERGENCY AND DISASTER:

$928 million cut from FEMA’s disaster relief money
$6 million cut from Emergency Food and Shelter
$70 million cut from the Agricultural Disaster Relief Fund at USDA
$61 million cut from the Hazardous Substance Superfund at EPA
$125 million cut from the Wildland Fire Management
$53 million cut from Salaries and Expenses at the Food Safety and Inspection Service

OBAMACARE:

$13 million cut from the Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan Program (Co-ops)
$57 million cut from the Health Care Fraud and Abuse Control
$51 million cut from the Prevention and Public Health Fund
$27 million cut from the State Grants and Demonstrations
$44 million cut from the Affordable Insurance Exchange Grants program

EDUCATION:

$633 million cut from the Department of Education’s Special Education programs
$184 million cut from Rehabilitation Services and Disability Research
$71 million cut from administration at the Office of Federal Student Aid
$116 million cut from Higher Education
$86 million cut from Student Financial Assistance

IMMIGRATION:

$512 million cut from Customs and Border Protection
$17 million cut from Automation Modernization, Customs and Border Protection
$20 million cut from Border Security Fencing, Infrastructure, and Technology

SECURTITY:

$79 million cut from Embassy Security, Construction, and Maintenance
$604 million cut from National Nuclear Security Administration
$232 million cut from the Federal Aviation Administration
$394 million cut from Defense Environmental Cleanup

Teapublicans, who refused to raise any additional revenue to avoid the budget cuts, have described the reductions as “modest” a “homerun” and something that “needs to happen” in order to “get this economy rolling again.”

The latest projections from the Congressional Budget Office show that the nation’s deficits have shrunk by trillions of dollars, and the debt is close to being stabilized as a percentage of the economy. Meanwhile, budget cuts have already reduced spending by $1.5 trillion and even with the revenue included in the fiscal cliff deal, the ratio of cuts to revenue stands at an unbalanced 3 to 1.

TEMPEST FUGIT (POLITICAL CRAP STORMS)

Happy belated Sequestration Day to all my loyal readers! Did you feel different when you woke up today? No? You will. Not in days, but in just a few short weeks many of us will feel the discomfort [GOP bowel movement] imposed on us by the lunacy that is the tea bagger. For information, we are now the closest we will ever get to actually shrinking the federal budget, that is until the zombie apocalypse comes.

The sequester was set up so that nobody would realistically in their right mind accept it, guess what, the idiots from tin foil land hat land excepted it.

Rachel Maddow opened her show last night using an extended metaphor to connect natural disasters and huge storms to political storms [taking a page from the weather channel]. Rachael argued that including last nights debacle [the sequestration coming into effect], there have now been five separate political “crap storms” in D.C. since the teapublicans took the reigns, or the keys to the House in 2011.

Can we now make this a National Holiday? Why not I say, according to all the tripe coming from the American Taliban, this cut in the growth of spending means that hundreds of thousands are already going to have to be furloughed anyway.

GOP DEFECATES ON THE COUNTRY

GOP CRAPS ON AMERICA

Barring a miracle of bipartisan cooperation over the next 6 hours, the sequester — a series of across-the-board spending cuts — will kick in tonight.

Part of the Budget Control Act of 2011, the sequester will likely shave 700,000 jobs and 0.6 percent worth of growth off the economy. Its cuts were designed to be so crude and damaging they would incentivize all sides to replace it with more well-thought out deficit reduction.

But thanks to the GOP’s single-minded fixation on spending cuts over tax increases, that effort failed. Republicans spent the last two years treating every debate over the deficit as if it were occurring in a historical vacuum, accusing Obama of failing his own commitment to balance, repeatedly scoffing at new tax revenue, and insisting that “it’s finally time” to “get serious” about cutting spending, even as trillions of dollars in cuts mounted.

In short, the GOP has repeatedly thrown the spending cuts from each previous deal down the memory hole, [literally shitting on the country] demanding more and more while claiming that Obama and Democrats have unreasonably wanted to balance those cuts with new revenue.

All of this chaos and confusion can be boiled down to the GOP unwilling to increase federal taxes on millionaires, nor will they close tax loopholes, nor eliminate subsidies for the most profitable oil companies in the world. The rest of us are expected to bear the load as we carry the wealthy on our shoulders.

The entire American Taliban, today's worst humans on the planet earth!

“I’M HERE TO SPEAK FOR MY SON”

Gun huggers, consider yourselves on notice! In a gut wrenching way, Neil Heslin told congress yesterday that he has come to speak for his son, Jesse Heslin, who was gunned down in the Newtown massacre.

Speaking about his best friend [his son], Neil Heslin stated that while he approved of the second amendment [you know when muskets and cannons where around], he was adamant about banning assault weapons.

That elder Heslin went on to say:
"Jesse was the love of my life," said Neil Heslin, sobbing as he described his 6-year-old son before the Senate Judiciary Committee. "He was the only family I had left. It's hard for me to be here today to talk about my deceased son. I have to. I'm his voice."

Heslin recounted his last moments with his son when he took him to pick up his favorite, sausage egg and cheese sandwich and hot chocolate before dropping him off at school on the morning of Dec. 14.

"It was 9:04 when I dropped Jesse off. Jesse gave me a hug and a kiss and at that time said goodbye and love you. He stopped and said, I loved mom too." Heslin and his wife are separated.

"That was the last I saw of Jesse as he ducked around the corner. Prior to that when he was getting out of the truck he hugged me and held me and I could still feel that hug and pat on the back and he said everything's going to be ok dad. It's all going to be ok," Heslin said breaking down in tears a second time. "It wasn't ok. I have to go home at night to an empty house without my son."

GET OFF YOUR ASS JOHN BOEHNER

Barring a last minute Congressional compromise, $85 billion in automatic across-the-board cuts will go into effect in the next 72 hours as a result of the sequester mechanism included in the 2011 Budget Control Act.

Teapublicans — many of whom voted for the BCA and have for years championed deep spending reductions — are hoping to blame the Democrats and President Obama for the consequences of the cuts, claiming that if “bad things” happen as a result of sequester, “it’s because [Obama] wants them to.” As the nation moves closer to the March 1 deadline, here is your guide to the GOP spin on the sequester:

ED SCHULTZ

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

We need spending cuts to get the economy going. The GOP claims that government spending is out of control and reason that reducing spending would spur greater economic growth. But government expenditures have grown at its slowest pace since the Eisenhower administration under President Obama and the latest projections from the Congressional Budget Office show that the nation’s deficits have shrunk by trillions of dollars, and the debt is close to being stabilized as a percentage of the economy. Austerity measures have dragged down economic growth in Europe and some economists argue that sequestration won’t actually lead to substantial shrinking of the deficit, since fiscal contraction caused by sequestration is likely to slow economic growth, reducing tax revenue and preventing meaningful deficit reduction.

Agencies need more flexibility to avoid cuts in crucial services. After backing sequestration mechanism — the harmful cuts that were designed to force lawmakers to reach a comprehensive deal to reduce the deficit with additional revenue and spending reductions — Teapublicans are now considering legislation that would leave Obama and federal agencies with the responsibility of carving out waste and unnecessary spending while preserving critical government services. In reality, the problem isn’t one of authority. Programs will see their budgets cut by anywhere between 2 and 10 percent and most will be unable to salvage services and only target inefficiencies. The Republican replacement is just another effort to implement spending reductions without increasing revenues and blame Obama for the consequences.

The federal spending will still be higher next year. This claim is technically true, but only because the sequester target the growth of government programs: they will grow at a slower pace as a result of the spending reductions. This is simply how federal budgeting works. The sequester will reduce spending as percentage of the economy, lowering discretionary spending to historic lows.

These are very modest cuts. The reductions may not mean much for wealthy Congressman, but states will lose funding for education, job training, health care, and a plethora of other services, jeopardizing assistance for low-income and middle class families alike and threatening the economic recovery. The cuts will also undermine everything from border security to the screening of containers. Estimates show that the sequester would reduce 2013 gross domestic product (GDP) growth by half a percentage point, and would cost the economy close to one million jobs in the next two years.

Democrats have rejected the GOP’s sequester replacement bills. Teapublicans in the House passed a sequester replacement bill in the last Congress that doesn’t raise any new revenue and includes cuts in domestic programs like food stamps, Medicaid, and the social services block grant (which, among other things, funds Meals on Wheels). The GOP has not introduced a replacement bill in this current Congress and refuses to compromise on the Democrats’ balanced approach of higher revenues and more spending cuts. Budget deals cut over the last year have already reduced a substantial amount of spending and even with the revenue included in the fiscal cliff deal, there have been $2.50 in spending cuts for every $1 in revenue

When does the American Taliban take ownership for their far share of why this country is going to hell in a hand basket? Hey Johnny, when are the jobs?

SEQUESTRATION, WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU

SEQUESTRATION COMING TO A TOWN NEAR YOU

It's looking increasingly like the US Congress is about to impose on its citizenry, a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head of its own Government - to the tune of $85 billion in across-the-board spending cuts. So as part of its strategy to pressure the American Taliban into accepting new revenues as part of a deal to prevent the sequester from taking effect, the White House released new reports on Sunday that outline the ugly effects those cuts would have in individual states.

Below are links to each of the White House reports detailing how the sequester will impact individual states:

1. Alabama

2. Alaska

3. Arizona

4. Arkansas

5. California

6. Colorado

7. Connecticut

8. Delaware

9. District of Columbia

10. Florida

BIRTH CONTROL A POISON?

Oklahoma already prevents women from using their insurance plans to help cover abortion services, but Republicans aren’t stopping there. One state lawmaker wants to continue stripping insurance coverage for reproductive health services, advancing a measure that would allow employers to refuse to cover birth control for any reason — based solely on the fact that one of his constituents believes it “poisons women’s bodies.”

Under State Sen. Clark Jolley (R)’s measure, “no employer shall be required to provide or pay for any benefit or service related to abortion or contraception through the provision of health insurance to his or her employees.” According to the Tulsa World, Jolley’s inspiration for his bill came from one of his male constituents who is morally opposed to birth control, and wanted to find a small group insurance plan for himself and his family that didn’t include coverage for those services:
Jolley said the measure is the result of a request from a constituent, Dr. Dominic Pedulla, an Oklahoma City cardiologist who describes himself as a natural family planning medical consultant and women’s health researcher. [...]

Women are worse off with contraception because it suppresses and disables who they are, Pedulla said.

“Part of their identity is the potential to be a mother,” Pedulla said. “They are being asked to suppress and radically contradict part of their own identity, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they are being asked to poison their bodies.”

The bill has already cleared a Senate Health committee and now makes it way to Oklahoma’s full Senate. It is unlikely that either Jolley and Pedulla themselves rely on insurance coverage for hormonal contraceptive services — but if the measure becomes law, the two men could limit the health insurance options for the nearly two million women who live in Oklahoma.

Of course, contraception does not actually poison women. The FDA approved the first oral birth control pill in 1960, and that type of contraception is so safe that the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends making it available without a prescription, as it is in most other countries around the world. Furthermore, considering that over 99 percent of women of reproductive age have used some form of birth control, the Oklahoma women who rely on insurance coverage for their contraception would likely disagree with Pedulla’s assertion that it “suppresses and radically contradicts part of their own identity.”

In reality, access to affordable birth control is a critical economic issue for women. When women have control over their reproductive choices, it allows them to achieve economic goals like completing their education, becoming financially independent, or keeping a job. But birth control can carry high out-of-pocket costs, and over half of young women say they haven’t used their contraceptive method as directed because of cost prohibitions. Nonetheless, Republican lawmakers have repeatedly pushed measures to allow employers to drop coverage for birth control.

Might I remind readers of two things; we ask that all tea baggers breed responsibly, and that the best form of birth control is looking at congressional GOPers discussing birth control!

McCarthyism Is A Good Thing?

We posted a blog by thinkprogress yesterday which compares Ted Cruz to Joe McCarthy, which should be a scary comparison in most modern eras.

This is following Cruz’s allegations of possible ties Defense Secretary nominee Chuck Hagel has to radical anti-American groups, and the piece alleges Cruz claimed knowledge of communists at Harvard University.

Ted Cruz is not your normal American Taliban-er readers, no, this dipshit takes stupid to another level, which makes him the dipsy-doodle king of tea baggers for this week. As Michele Bachmann loses her batshit crazy luster within the ranks of teabillie land, there is never a loss for unlettered GOPers to take the helm! In this instance, its Ted Cruz, poster boy for "Brylcreem, A Little Dab'll Do Ya".

BRYLCREEM COMMECRCIAL

Last night Rachel Maddow deconstructed exactly what makes Cruz so much like Joe McCarthy, the man infamously known for his witch hunt against communists in the United States government.

BREITBARTBOTS AND FRIENDS OF HAMAS [BEN SHAPIRO IDIOT AT LARGE]

A friend of mine said to me: "The "conservative bubble" resides in the lower backside of Rush Limbaugh".

I would add to this friends comment; that in a cosmological sense, that's just the locus of one of those fecund over-heated birthing areas, just like when we look at rich accumulations of hydrogen gas in space. Big Fat's [Limbaugh] massive ass acts as the event horizon to a black hole for authoritarian misconceptions of reality, farooping them out daily at a highly energized, therefore over-heated, rate.

So what we get in Ted Cruz is someone who's really, really bright and smart on everything that is just wrong. It's like being a notable bible scholar but at the same time actually believing all those religionist myths and bull shit misconceptions.

TED CRUZ IS JOE MCCARTHY REINCARNATED

TED CRUZ IS JOE MCCARTHY REINCARNATED

During the confirmation hearing for Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-NE), Sen. Ted Cruz engaged in guilt-by-association tactics that reminded several observers of former Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-WI)’s baseless claim to have “a list” of Communists who had infiltrated the U.S. State Department.

It turns out Cruz was even more like McCarthy than previously thought. He believes that “Marxists who believed in the Communists overthrowing the United States government” have infiltrated the Harvard Law School faculty, outgunning the embattled campus conservatives.

Cruz’s Communist comments came in a speech to the Koch-supported group Americans for Prosperity unearthed by The New Yorker‘s Jane Mayer. Mayer attended the speech, and wrote down the text of Cruz’ McCarthyite allegations, which also linked President Obama to the so-called revolutionary Marxists at Harvard:
Cruz greeted the audience jovially, but soon launched an impassioned attack on President Obama, whom he described as “the most radical” President “ever to occupy the Oval Office.” (I was covering the conference and kept the notes.)

He then went on to assert that Obama, who attended Harvard Law School four years ahead of him, “would have made a perfect president of Harvard Law School.” The reason, said Cruz, was that, “There were fewer declared Republicans in the faculty when we were there than Communists! There was one Republican. But there were twelve who would say they were Marxists who believed in the Communists overthrowing the United States government.”

Like McCarthy, Cruz doesn’t name names, and that’s no surprise. As Mayer notes, “Under the Smith Act, it is a crime to actively engage in any organization pursuing the overthrow of the U.S. government.” So Cruz’s allegation could potentially mean he’s accusing a large chunk of the Harvard faculty of engaging in a federal felony.

It’s also extremely unlikely that there were any truly revolutionary Marxists at Harvard. The intellectual cohort Mayer guesses he was pointing to are advocates of Critical Legal Studies (CLS), an intellectual movement with strong roots at Harvard Law. CLS scholars argue that law and legal texts are indeterminate; in greatly simplified terms, that the law can be interpreted in basically whatever fashion judges choose. Taking after a long tradition of leftist thought (including Marx himself), CLS advocates argue that the fact of legal indeterminacy means law ends up reflecting the will and the interests of the powerful (principally rich, white men) rather than neutral adjucations of the principles that are supposed to underpin the law. A more comprehensive introduction, from Harvard Law Professor Roberto Unger, can be found here.

It’s true that this is an extremely left-wing analysis of the way that law works, but that doesn’t mean they actually wanted the Soviets to win the Cold War by overthrowing the US government, as Cruz said. Indeed, as Mayer notes, perhaps the most famous CLS exponent at Harvard, Duncan Kennedy, identifies as a “social democrat,” not a Communist and certainly not a revolutionary Soviet.

A majority of the Supreme Court’s conservative bloc attended Harvard Law School. No Marxists from Harvard have ascended to the Supreme Court.

Yes America, Virginia Law Makers Are Idiots

VIRGINIA'S METAL MONEY UNIT

Virginia State lawmakers have been discussing a proposal to consider whether the commonwealth needed its own currency in the event of the collapse of the United States.
To briefly recap for those just joining us, Virginia Del. Robert G. Marshall (R), sometimes referred to as "Sideshow Bob," wanted a taxpayer-financed study to examine the feasibility of Virginia having its own currency. As Marshall sees it, state policymakers have reason to fear the wholesale collapse of American civilization -- his strange theory has something to do with the Federal Reserve and the Weimar Republic -- and should prepare for the possibility that American currency might someday soon have no value.

Marshall has raised the idea before, but this time, his constitutionally-dubious plan -- states are not supposed to create their own currencies -- sailed through the Virginia House of Delegates, passing by a two-to-one majority earlier this month.
It's only fair, then, that I note that the effort came to an abrupt end few days ago.

Earlier this week, the state Senate, reluctant to make Virginia's legislature the national laughingstock once again, ended this farce before it could go any further.

The U.S. dollar will remain the only legal tender in the commonwealth for now. The Virginia Senate the other day killed a House proposal that would have established a joint subcommittee to study the feasibility "of a metallic-based monetary unit" as an alternative to the dollar.

My thoughts on these law makers whom decide my lifestyle are a plethora, having lived in Virginia for over 35 years, the endless amount of hillbilly redneck style governing is alive and strong! Transvaginal Bob comes to mind.

As Virginia reels from the probing of liberal media, snicker across the country arise from within.
Lest we begin to think these hams are half-baked - that they find the cure for losing their allure as the place for lovers and sisters who marry their brothers. "Let's be less of a joke lawmakers and more like common folk!

Virginian's abound could hear sighs coming from Monticello as the theatre of the absurd bows to the 700 and gets trumped by reality by the sea. I'm a bit rusty at this but - run the steps by me again. The dancers form up in 2 lines facing each other, do some elbow swings, sashay around a bit, and end up in their original positions?

There is always a paranoia when political strategies - are being employed again by another set of American Taliban policy-makers! Instead of showing their fear of and paranoia toward their fellow Americans, these modern radical tea drinkers should wake up and smell the coffee of the common good, otherwise, just like the dear Virginia Commonwealth representative, tea baggers across the country are yet again reinforcing the ["I don't want to go see Uncle Bob again"] agitation felt by innocent young nephews and nieces when the next family outing turns into an urgent plea by the middle class to stop being politically FUBAR!

I'm sure that most logical Virginian's like myself are glad that the state legislature's idea of a metal based monetary unit - is Gone with the breaking Wind.

HUBRIS: SELLING THE IRAQI WAR

This story is compelling, its mind boggling, and disgusting – one third of the pie [housing and banking other two pieces of the pie] – in the tanking of our country; by one G.W. Bush and his deviant underlings. So many plots thickened with this debacle, the outing of a CIA operative [Valerie Plame], the deaths of over 4 thousand soldiers, countless wounded, and a staggering monetary cost unmatched by none, tacked on to this beloved country.

The failings of this President are a plethora, which shall remain unmatched by any of his predecessors, and his followers. This buffoon did everything in his power to undermine the office of the President of the United States, all in one falling swoop, this Einstein lied at every corner and tried to pull the wool over this countries eyes.
“Hubris” - (pron.: /ˈhjuːbrɪs/), also hybris, from ancient Greek ὕβρις, means extreme pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power.

While this word seems to apply to all GOPers, it certainly encapsulates and depicts G.W. Bush and his bland brand of banshees.

The documentary below, narrated by Rachael Maddow; the book written by Michael Isikoff and David Corn, is a great look into this satanic, fiendish administration. Every Tea Bagger, American Taliban-er and GOPer should be forced to watch repeatedly until they understand how their beloved political GOD pooched our country.

So without further ado, below are six clips of the documentary, in its entirety, the fascinating story of how Bush, Cheney and plethora of others bamboozled the citizens of the United States of America.
