"JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES"

Penn Gov says "just close your eyes".

PA GOP Governor Defends Ultrasounds Bill.

More than 10 state legislatures are considering or have passed bills forcing women to receive an ultrasound before having an abortion. And Pennsylvania lawmakers are considering one of the most far-reaching ultrasound bills in the nation.

Gov. Tom Corbett (R) reaffirmed this week that he supports the anti-abortion measure so long as it’s not obtrusive because women could simply close their eyes during the procedure:
QUESTION: Making them watch…does that go too far in your mind?

CORBETT: I’m not making anybody watch, OK. Because you just have to close your eyes. As long as it’s on the exterior and not the interior.

Critics say Corbett’s comments show he doesn’t understand how the bill would even work. While the Pennsylvania legislation has been amended to remove references to invasive transvaginal ultrasounds, the language suggests a transvaginal ultrasound could still be required if the embryo is too small. Patrick Murphy, a Democrat running for attorney general, called for Corbett to apologize for his statement. “It’s unthinkable that he would so casually dismiss this by advising women to just close their eyes,” Murphy said.

The state House canceled a vote on the bill this week because medical associations have voiced concerns about the measure. And 48 percent of Pennsylvania voters oppose the ultrasound bill, with 42 percent supporting the measure, according to a new Quinnipiac poll. And 64 percent of voters oppose requiring transvaginal ultrasounds.

Meanwhile, Corbett’s approval rating among Pennsylvanians is dropping

The mentaility of a radical tea bagger, its deep rooted in hate, arrogance, and ignorance.

ARIZONA DOUBLES DOWN ON BIRTH CONTROL - CONTROL

Arizona ratchets up birth control - control

Arizona Senate Committee Endorses ‘Tell Your Boss Why You’re On The Pill’ Bill

Arizona has taken up yet another draconian law for women’s health – this time replicating but broadening the federal push to let employers deny women access to birth control. The bill stipulates that, unless a woman brings in a note proving she is not using it to avoid getting pregnant, an employer can deny birth control to any woman in the workplace.

By a vote of 6-2, an Arizona State Senate Judiciary committee yesterday endorsed the measure:
Arizona House Bill 2625, authored by Majority Whip Debbie Lesko, R-Glendale, would permit employers to ask their employees for proof of medical prescription if they seek contraceptives for non-reproductive purposes, such as hormone control or acne treatment.
“I believe we live in America. We don’t live in the Soviet Union,” Lesko said. “So, government should not be telling the organizations or mom and pop employers to do something against their moral beliefs… My whole legislation is about our First Amendment rights and freedom of religion.”

The argument that providing birth control violates the First Amendment is bogus, debunked by a twenty year-old opinion by conservative Supreme Court Justice Scalia.

Needless to say, many women do not feel comfortable turning over their medical records to their employers, even if they do have a condition that qualifies them under Lesko’s proposed law. Especially since, as an at-will employment state, an Arizona employer would likely be able to fire a woman if they saw anything in her gynecological history that he (or, yes, she) didn’t like. But, under the proposed law, a boss could fire the woman if the woman didn’t turn it over, too.

Aside from the obvious health benefits that lead some women to use birth control, contraceptive use has helped shrink the gender pay gap; it even benefits the economy as a whole.

Arizona is yet another red state willing to push the envelop with regards to a womens perogative to their own bodies.

GOOD GRIEF!

AZ To Fire Employees For Birth Control Usage

And we thought "Transvaginal Bob" was bad?

Use Birth Control? You're Fired!

First, a bill that gives immunity to doctors who lie to couples about the results of their prenatal tests in order to prevent them from getting an abortion. Now, a bill that would give your boss the green light to fire you for using birth control. You think I am kidding? I wish. For a decade now, Arizona insurance companies have been required to provide coverage for contraception just like other prescriptions. But, because they saw an opening to score some political points, some politicians there are suddenly moving to take that coverage away from women and their families.

And we aren’t talking here just about exemptions for religiously affiliated employers like Catholic hospitals and universities. We are talking about authorizing secular, for-profit employers to deny a woman coverage for birth control if the employer doesn’t believe that she and her partner should be allowed to have sex without getting pregnant. Yup, that’s right. If the owner of the Taco Bell where you work opposes birth control, Arizona legislators want to give him a legal right to deny you insurance coverage for your pills.

Sadly, that isn’t even the half of it. You may want to sit down for this one. Arizona legislators know that whether or not her insurance covers it, a woman may get the prescription she needs to prevent an unintended pregnancy. They want to give her boss the right to control that too. The bill they are pushing would not only allow employers to take the insurance coverage away, but it would also make it easier for an employer who finds out that his employee uses birth control to fire her. You heard me right . . . to fire her. And I thought Rush Limbaugh’s comments were as low as you could go on this one.

The Arizona bill has, incredibly, already passed one house, but we can still stop it. We’ve seen what can happen if we make our voices heard. So, if you’ve had enough; if you think the decision about whether to have a child is one for you and your partner, not your boss and your senator, I urge you to speak up now. Tell the legislators in Arizona to stop playing politics with women’s health and put personal and private decisions back in the hands of a woman and her family.

After the shock value settled in [It took me 2 hours to get my ability to write this blog] - In a not-so-round-about way, women in AZ can be fired for having sex but not wanting to conceive. Hmmmmmm. WTF is wrong with this picture readers?

Welcome to fascism at its best:
" When fascism comes to America it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross"(Sinclair Lewis in the 1930s).
Readers, everyone needs to remember that indignation at stupidity changes nothing -- unless you can vote them out of office. Register! Vote! Register others! Drive people to the polling places! Offer to babysit! Get these radical misfits out office immediately!

As the suffragettes used to say -- "DEEDS NOT WORDS."

DUMBF**KISTAN

Snapshot of a Ignorant America

Ask Barack Obama about his religious affiliation, and he’s a Christian. Ask Mississippi or Alabama voters, and you might find a different answer.

In the midst of tight GOP primaries in both states, Public Policy Polling (PPP) has released information showing that a majority of voters in the Deep South do not see Obama as a Christian. PPP’s Alabama survey of 600 likely GOP primary voters found when asked:

“Do you think Barack Obama is a Christian or a Muslim or are you not sure?”

Only 14% believe the President’s claim to being a Christian;
45% believe he is a Muslim and 41% are not sure.

76% identify as Republican; 3% as Democrats and 11% as independents
60% Do not believe in evolution
68% Describe themselves as Evangelical Christians
53% Have a favorable opinion of Rush Limbaugh; 33% do not
21% Believe that inter-racial marriage should be illegal

The survey emerges on the heels of a recent stream of public questioning regarding Obama’s religion. Back on Feb. 18, Rick Santorum took aim at the president’s beliefs, charging that his White House decisions are driven by a “different theology.”
“It’s not about your quality of life,” Santorum told supporters at a Tea Party rally in Columbus, Ohio. “It’s not about your jobs. It’s about some phony ideal. Some phony theology. Oh, not a theology based on the Bible.”

Three days later, evangelist Franklin Graham joined the chorus, leaning toward the same opinion of those unsure Southern voters. Obama “has said he’s a Christian, so I just have to assume that he is,” Graham said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Facing criticism from prominent black religious leaders, Graham later apologized for his remarks:
“I regret any comments I have ever made which may have cast any doubt on the personal faith of our president, Mr. Obama,”

Religion rumors are nothing new for Obama. Back in August 2010, a poll showed that almost one-fifth of all Americans believed he is a Muslim. Obama responded in an interview with “NBC Nightly News” saying that “the facts are the facts” regarding his Christian faith.

Unlettered teapublicans, the mind is truly a terrible thing to waste! Mississippi and Alabama statistically hold the lowest education standards in the country. Its people like this that make it hard to say I'm proud to be an American. I love my country, but I'm not a big fan of the idiots that give us a bad name around the world. America used to be a respected country, and these people are tarnishing the respect we once had.

Got an email earlier today and here is how it goes:
"I'm from Alabama. Young registered voter. I'm voting Republican in the primaries. I have respect for our President. I believe he's a Christian. I believe in Creationism as well as evolution to a certain degree. I believe in gradual change over time, not the idea that humans evolved from apes. I am a Christian, but I have respect for all people. I can NOT stand Rush at all. I can't stand Faux News as well. And whether or not a black man marries a white woman is there business. As long as they treat each other right and love one another why does it matter? Same with gay people. As a Christian I love all people. Don't let this survey give a bad impression of all Alabamians. I love my state. Just not all the people from my state. There are well educated people down here!"

I can honestly say four years of this ignorance is enough, but I am not surprised we are still here dealing with this considering how stupid teapublicans are!

I would love to see the United States require every citizen to take an IQ test and then see the map that produces. I'm going to lay odds that teapublican States... will be listed as having the lowest average IQ per capita than Democratic states. The standing joke about southern people having an IQ to match their shoe size... isn't a joke in Mississippi, it's a very sad reality with many in the population. Ironically, ignorance is taught in these states, passed down from generation to generation.

Anyone who doesn't believe America has a third-world need only visit the deep-South.

NOTHNG SAYS GOP LIKE MISSISSIPPI

A Must See Video - Explain to me again why you're a conservative.

I bet you thought this type of unlettered American died with the civil war? Many GOP'ers - like these Mississippians [Hillbilly, redneck, "South's Gonna Do IT Again Mentality"] express this ideology. This is why education is important, a mind is truly a terrible thing to waste, and if you believe not, keep watching the above video until it sinks in.

This should be your wake up call readers! This is the proof in the pudding, this is why its imperative for progressives to vote in the general election come November.

POLL CONFIRMS REPUBLICANS IGNORANT

Teapublicans have a major gap within their own Party. They pretty much look like true troglodytes at this point.

They have their Nobles (Leadership) and their Peasants (The Base)

They continue to thrive on and embrace ignorance and the lack of education, because to them, an educated peasant is a dangerous one. Its hard to hand feed educated people lies to scare them into voting for them.

Then when they finally do get into office, they do everything to help their fellow noblemen, while continuing to suppress the lower class.

CIRCULAR FIRING SQUAD

TEAPUBLICAN CIRCULAR FIRING SQUAD

We may be witnessing the death of the teapublican Party. If so, good riddance!

The party apparatus has lied to its faithful since its inception: The party of small government… the party of freedom… the party that supports the Constitution… the party of the 2nd Amendment [the only amendment known to the unlettered group]. The rhetoric has never matched the performance, but the faithful proles always held out hope that the next time would be different. They held their collective noses and voted for the candidate the elites shoved down their throats.

It is this mind-numbing ignorance that wallows amongst the teapublican Party — the so-called party of conservatism — to promote a pack of status quo leftists as conservatives and get away with it. It is what allows the doublethink to thrive: War is peace; freedom is slavery; ignorance is strength. Add one more: Left is right.

The teapublican firing squad consists of:

RINO [republican in name only]

Reagan conservatives: Implies exactly what is says. 1950 GOP er

Faux News Conservative:

These are one of the angriest groups of teapublicans. They watch Faux News or listen to Conservative Talk Radio and they think it makes them an expert on politics. The only knowledge they have of politics is parroted talking points without any facts to back them up. When you defeat them in debate they will resort to calling you names like “Liberal”, or “commie” or “socialist” or “baby-killer” etc. They think all liberals are socialists that want to take their money and give it to people who don’t deserve it.

Radical Christian Republicans:
These teapublicans are hypocrites. They do everything in the name of Christ, while simultaneously acting as un-Christlike as humanly possible. They support the right to carry assault weapons, are pro-War, and completely ignore the fact that the Bible depicts Christ as a Liberal who was opposed to capitalism and violence. They sincerely believe that this is God’s country and that God loves us more than anyone else in the world. They think that anyone that is not 100% pro-Israel is anti-semitic. They hate everyone that doesn’t agree with them and think the Bible tells them to, and they hate Gay people because they think they are sinners.

Racist republicans:

Racist Republicans hate Obama because he’s black. They think that all Muslims are terrorists. They think Obama is a terrorist Muslim. The think anyone with a name like Obama’s is a terrorist.

Birther Republicans:

The birthers think that Obama was born in Kenya. No matter how much evidence you present them with that is contradictory to that they will continue to insist that he is not the legitimate President. They are sore-losers because McCain lost the election, and they will never support Obama, even if he paid off the entire National Debt.

Teapublicans:

These teapublicans are a dumbed-down combination of the previous 2 groups of teapublicans. They think Sarah Palin is intelligent and it’s the media filter’s fault that she looks so stupid. They think Reagan was fiscally Conservative even though he tripled the deficit. They watch Faux News religiously, and think Glenn Beck is credible. They don’t understand why people think they’re racist while they’re standing next to people holding racist signs. They protest higher taxes even though taxes have gone down for 95% of working families.

Unlettered republicans:

These teapublicans are teapublicans because they think it’s cool. They have a teapublican in one of the other groups listed, so they think they know what they’re talking about. They have terrible spelling and grammar but they expect you to believe whatever they say because they are saying it to you.

TYPES OF TEA BAGGERS

On the current trajectory (and assuming that no untoward events change the calculus before November), Barack Obama seems well on his way to winning a second term in the White House. Of the reasons for this prediction, three stand out: teapublicans, tea baggers and still more teapublicans.

With uncanny precision, the teapublican party and its membership, abetted by the tea baggers and powerful negative public opinion that holds Congress in virtual contempt, have formed not one but multiple circular firing squads. "Ready, aim, fire" not "ready, fire, aim" is the order of the day!

When conservatism was riding high during the Reagan era, Ronnie himself decreed that no member of the movement should speak ill of another [GOP 11th commandment]. Presumably, he would be appalled by the current conservative propensity for circular firing squads.

It’s truly a sign of a party in crisis when the true-believers – panicked by the prospect of Republican defeat, yet determined not to acknowledge reality - commence to shooting their own pessimistic messengers. Purity tests are being administered, and scorn is being heaped on those who flunk. Indeed, any conservative who dares to question the well-documented ineptitude of the current candidates, or the lame duck president’s [G.W. Bush] horrific track record, is peremptorily dismissed as “pathetically opportunistic”.

Anyone who defies the groupthink of the bunker is risking retribution, although it should be noted that this situation is not entirely new. Back in 2005, Bruce Bartlett, a teapublican commentator and former Reagan official, wrote a book entitled Betrayal, which contended that President Bush was bankrupting America and betraying the Reagan legacy. On the eve of publication, Bartlett was a senior fellow at a conservative Texas think tank. But by time Betrayal went on sale, Bartlett was a former senior fellow…having been summarily dismissed.

This circular firing squad is really not surprising to those of us watching the field of advanced Wingnutology. But when a political party has sold it's followers a phony ideology based on radicalism - and the politics of grievances, what more can this group of fruitcakes do but attack each other?

If the teapublican party isn’t having a collective nervous breakdown about the impending November election, it’s doing a pretty good imitation. The level of finger-pointing within the conservative movement is getting uglier by the moment.

The heat of the moment is melting away the niceties that bind together the members of this radical political party.

I say, let the circular firing squad continue!

BREITBARTOCALYPSE, THE BOMBSHELL THAT WASN'T

BREITBART.COM THE BOMBSHELL THAT WASN'T

Even in death Andrew Breitbart remains the pimple on the ass of society. Ole Breitbart...as pathetically hyperbolic and insignificant in death as he was in life.

Breitbart’s fearless heirs have unleashed the BREITBARTOCALYPSE! Barack Hussein Obama can only cower in terror. The earth-shattering scoop that will blow this baby wide open has now be revealed

Before his death, Andrew Breitbart had been promising a true BOMBSHELL revelation about Barack Obama, a stunner that would finally put an end to Obama’s reign of terror.

Apparently the tape that Andrew Breitbart was talking about before his death, which has now been released, shows Barack Obama as a law student embracing Professor Derrick Bell. On the Breitbart site, they are saying that "this video is a bombshell showing that Barack Obama not only associated with radicals, he was their advocate."

I have to tell you readers, before the video's release I was expecting earth shattering evidence that POTUS was a major drug runner, mass murderer, or better yet someone whom was living a total lie, but nothing, all the hyperbole for hugging a radical black professor.

THE BOMBSHELL AS PROPORTED BY BREITBARTCOLYPSE

[ref above video] Hold......... wait for it, its' coming, just hold............Is that it? WTF, you have to be kidding me Breitbart.com! Did I miss it? What part of that was the bombshell, because my staff I certainly missed it.!

Breitbart's promised video of Barack Obama's college days at Harvard University which was released last night in full on Sean Hannity's Faux News show —and unlike the dead conservative provocateur's other video hits, this one appears to be a huge DUD! Seriously!

Pollack justifying the content of video, becasue even he knows there is nothing to it.

Jay Thomas, a Sirius radio host jumped into the fray while on CNN asking Breitbart stooge Joel Pollak:
"Can I say something as a white person?" Thomas asked Pollak. "What are you frightened of? Are you frightened that some black people are going to do something to you? ... What do you think Barack Obama's going to do? Is there a secret black movement that's going to start killing white people?"

Upon the release of the video journalists took to Twitter to poke fun at the controversy. "Breitbart's CPAC speech = Lana Del Ray's 'Video Games' video," Slate's Dave Weigel wrote on Twitter. "Actual Obama tape = Lana Del Ray on 'SNL.'"

On CNN, Pollak promised more footage and more bombshells from Breitbart's archives:
"This is the beginning of a vetting process that begins with Andrew Breitbart's probe into Barack Obama's time in Chicago and will continue," he said.

Pollak is supposed to be an educated law grad (Harvard no less), does he understand what "vetting means" - if this video is a thorough and diligent review of POTUS, then Pollak needs a refund for tuition paid, and should return his degree! I have often said those at Breitbart.com are a very unlettered group, this only substantiates the theory.

Bombshell", yes, this is proof positive that even back in law school POTUS was showing all the signs of becoming exactly the kind of leader that we see in him everyday!

Just how unlettered are Breitbart followers you ask?

In the spirit of the Breitbart [i.e. spreading falsehoods]:

BREAKING: "POTUS had Breitbart killed - because Andrew was to expose POTUS for hugging a professor." Even though it's not true spread the word I am sure ole Andy would enjoy this conspiracy theory. Only in tea bagger land readers, only in tea bagger land!

Just because the lead buffoon is dead - don't expect the galactally stupid to end the mission.

I AM FLAILING MY HANDS IN AGREEMENT

IT'S TIME FOR THE PONDEROUS PORCINE TO GO!

IT'S TIME FOR "THE DRUGSTER" TO GO!

Rush (the band) asks Rush (the human swine) to stop using their music.

Via a Bob Cesca’s Awesome Blog! Go! exclusive, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neal Peart of Rush have asked Rush Limbaugh to stop using their magnificent music on his Hate Show:

Yesterday Anthem Entertainment and Rush (the band) spoke about Rush Limbaugh’s airing of its music on his show, and today we where informed that the legendary Canadian rock group has formally demanded that the Rush Limbaugh Program stop using its music on the air.

For years now, Rush Limbaugh has been playing Rush music as bumpers out of his commercial breaks, including the tracks “Bravado” and “The Spirit of Radio”. In fact, when Limbaugh attacked Sandra Fluke and remarked about seeing sex tapes of Fluke in exchange for birth control pills, Limbaugh was playing the popular Rush track “The Spirit of Radio” under his rant.

Thankfully, that ends today.

Here’s an excerpt from the letter (pdf) their lawyer sent the excremental talk show host:
The use of Rush’s music in this way is an infringement of Rush’s copyrights and trademarks. The public performance of Rush’s music is not licensed for political purposes and any such use is in breach of public performance licenses and constitutes copyright infringement. There are civil and criminal remedies for copyright infringement, including statutory damages and fines. [...]In addition, the use of Rush’s music in this manner implies an endorsement of the views expressed and products advertised on the show, and is in breach of not only copyright and trademark rights, but also, of section 51 of the New York Civil Rights Law.
Accordingly, we hereby demand that you immediately stop all use of Rush’s music and confirm that you will do so.
At least 45 advertisers have reportedly dropped their ads from Rush Limbaugh's radio show in the wake of his misogynistic attacks on Sandra Fluke.

Rush Limbaugh has been saying outrageous things for a long time and for a long time he has not been held accountable, this means society is partly the blame for this monster. If a man is allowed to act uncivilized in a land of laws and regulation, he therefore believes he has no one to answer too (but himself).

Rush has no fear of repercussion or consequences. NONE. That makes him very dangerous considering he has a big following. The fact of the matter is rich white people pay Rush Limbaugh to say what he says. Rush is only saying what they want to say, but are unable to do so in public. This is why Rush is not held accountable; despite the fact his words are offensive, incendiary and hateful.

Dating for adulterers:

While most advertisers are pulling out quickly on the "drugster", one is willing to join the fray, enter Ashley Madison a website that pairs wannabe adulterers. Is there a more perfect sponsor for the man who has been married four times, a man who has “so much sex” that he was detained for having illegally obtained Viagra?

Since calling Sandra Fluke, a women’s rights activist, a “slut” and a “prostitute” - Limbaugh has felt a backlash like never before. At current count, over 40 advertisers have jumped ship from his show, despite his anything-but-heartfelt apology in which he blamed liberals for his actions.

Rush claims that losing 40 plus advertisers is like:
“Twenty-eight sponsors out of 18,000? That’s like losing a couple of French fries in the container when it’s delivered to you at the drive-thru. You don’t even notice it.”

The "drugster' suffers from diarrhea of mouth and constipation of the brain, and it's time for the ponderous porcine to remove his lard ass from the microphone!

"FEMINAZIS"

THIRTY TWO sponsors have now bailed on the Drugster.

The Misogynist Limbaugh:
Rush Limbaugh earned the eternal enmity of feminists when, years ago, he coined the phrase 'Feminazis' to describe today's' liberated feminists. Rush has been proven, once again, to be ahead of his time. When reviewing the state of feminism today, one can only marvel at his prescience.

Why do Christian conservatives refer to feminists as "Feminazis? Because they are afraid of anything that threatens the status quo. They think things should stay the way they have "always" been, forever and ever amen.

One problem with that kind of thinking is that change is inevitable and you had better adapt than try to resist it.

If there is one thing that Rush Limbaugh knows how to do well, it’s get attention. And he’s at his best at doing that when he’s making crude remarks about women, blacks - well just about everything non-tea bagger.

Limbaugh once refused to take calls from females unless they submitted their photos to him first, so he could determine they weren’t ugly “feminazis.”

As the saying goes, “Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.”

Feminazi is a term popularized by Limbaugh. Feminazi is a portmanteau of the nouns feminist and Nazi. The term is used pejoratively by some U.S. conservatives to criticize feminists that they perceive as extreme. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, the term describes "an extreme or militant feminist".

In a 1996 interview, Gloria Steinem characterized Limbaugh's use of the term “feminazi” as ironic since feminists and other political dissenters were among the victims of Nazi concentration camps and Nazi work camps:
Limbaugh often defends his use of the term: "I haven't used that term on this program in awhile. But it still gets to 'em, doesn't it? And you know why? Because it's right. Because it's accurate."

NFTOS NEEDS YOUR HELP

VETVOTES, CALLING FOR AFN TO STOP AIRING RUSH SHOW

VoteVets, and the women veterans it represents, are calling on the American Forces Network (AFN) to stop airing Rush Limbaugh's radio show on its network.

Miranda Norman (who is a VoteVets.org Senior Advisor), Kayla Williams, and Robin Eckstein, all Iraq War Veterans, and Katherine Scheirman, former chief of medical operations for the U.S. Air Forces in Europe at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany said the following:
"Rush Limbaugh has a freedom of speech and can say what he wants, but in light of his horribly misogynistic comments, American Forces Radio should no longer give him a platform. Our entire military depends on troops respecting each other - women and men. There simply can be no place on military airwaves for sentiments that would undermine that respect. When many of our female troops use birth control, for Limbaugh to say they are "sluts" and "prostitutes" is beyond the pale. It isn't just disrespectful to our women serving our country, but it's language that goes against everything that makes our military work. Again, we swore to uphold our Constitution, including the freedom of speech, and would not take that away from anyone - even Limbaugh. But that does not mean AFN should broadcast him. In fact, it shouldn't."
So far, their demand is falling on deaf ears.

On Monday, Pentagon press secretary George Little said the Defense Department had no plans to stop broadcasting Rush Limbaugh's show to service members on the American Forces Network. Limbaugh's show is part of the Defense Department's policy to broadcast shows that "reflect a wide range" of opinion, Little said.Little said he had "not heard" of any review of whether Limbaugh's show remains suitable for broadcast after the controversy surrounding Limbaugh. Little also said he could not immediately say what the standards are for whether certain broadcasts are considered suitable by the Defense Department.

Perhaps a prominent veteran, say like Sen. John McCain, would be able to push a review of what is suitable for broadcast to our nation's troop, since he's condemned Limbaugh's remarks, saying:
He’s an entertainer. But his remarks are totally unacceptable, totally and completely unacceptable. And there’s no place for it.

There certainly isn't a place for it on taxpayer-funded airways going out to America's fighting men and women. Since we probably can't count on McCain to send that message to AFN, let's do it ourselves.

Send an e-mail to the Armed Forces Network, telling them there is no place on military airwaves for talk like Limbaugh's.

Rush Limbaugh catapulted himself to the top of hate radio this week by saying that a law student was a “slut” and a “prostitute” for claiming that law students could often not pay for their own birth control. This took up much time an energy on both sides, prompting even a movement for sponsors to boycott Limbaugh’s show over the comments. Yesterday Limbaugh released a statement on his website noting that, while absurdity is a tool he often picks out of the shed, he “sincerely apologizes” for what he describes as “insulting word choices.”

 AS THE STORY BROKE:

The full statement as it appears on Limbaugh’s website below:
For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke.
I think it is absolutely absurd that during these very serious political times, we are discussing personal sexual recreational activities before members of Congress. I personally do not agree that American citizens should pay for these social activities. What happened to personal responsibility and accountability? Where do we draw the line? If this is accepted as the norm, what will follow? Will we be debating if taxpayers should pay for new sneakers for all students that are interested in running to keep fit?In my monologue, I posited that it is not our business whatsoever to know what is going on in anyone’s bedroom nor do I think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level.
My choice of words was not the best, and in the attempt to be humorous, I created a national stir. I sincerely apologize to Ms. Fluke for the insulting word choices.
Limbaugh slammed Fluke all week long, the day after calling her these putrid names he came back the very next day justifying his nasty attack, it was only after the majority of his advertisers called him on it, did he back track. Unacceptable!

I am asking my 21 million readers to not call for an apology from this POS, but to ask that this ponderous porcine be removed from the airwaves! Enough is enough!

Wanna Remove Rush from the Airwaves? Here’s How.

A few things Rush needs to learn:
.......And they say you don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off an 'ole Lone Ranger
And you don't call respectable females "prostitutes" and "sluts" on National radio!

PENCHENT FOR PANACHE

THE FALSEHOOD OF ANDREW BREITBART

Yesterday Sean Hannity railed against liberals who have been writing negative things about the late Andrew Breitbart while many are still grieving. Hannity specifically called out Rolling Stone writer Matt Taibbi, who titled his Breitbart piece “Death of a Douche” and ended it with “Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.” Taibbi argued the language he used in his piece was a reflection of how Breitbart chose to go after Ted Kennedy right after his death, but Hannity was having none of it.

Hannity brought on Ann 'the man" Coulter to talk about a supposed double-standard between what happens if a conservative like Breitbart says negative things after a person’s died and if a liberal does. Coulter joked about Rolling Stone‘s diminished relevancy before directly addressing the double standard, but from the other perspective. Coulter defended Breitbart calling Kennedy “a piece of human excrement” by saying his comment was accurate, and that Kennedy was deserving of it because of the infamous Chappaquiddick and “a little pushback” was necessary.

ALL YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW:

Andrew Breitbart was a man who loved to toss around the word "big." His websites—Big Government, Big Hollywood, Big Journalism—are clearinghouses of conservative ripostes to mainstream politics, entertainment and media that attempted to tear down what he saw as a domineering left-wing narrative. He operated with endless bluster and the content on his sites have been the sources of controversies that have upended Congress, ended careers, and ruined personal reputations.

Always the pot stirrer, Breitbart's pugnacity never seemed to wane. At a party full of his fellow unlettered bloggers last month during the Conservative Political Action Conference, Breitbart told his backscratchers/bootlickers/dependents/ stooges/toadies/ and admirers, that the secret to successful muckraking and mudslinging was "to be a warrior."

The next night, Breitbart let out a war cry of his own when he burst out of the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel hosting CPAC to unload upon a group of Occupy protesters. He screamed at the top of his lungs for over a minute, repeating imperatives like "Behave yourselves!" and "Stop raping people!"

Since his death, Breitbart's legacy has been called: "one that raised the profile and impact of partisan, citizen-driven journalism".

Quoting Breitbart:
“I enjoy making enemies,” His fans called him a “happy warrior.” He was constantly spoiling for a fight.

Breitbart found truth in fiction. In order to reach people—to make them listen, to his message or just to him—he spun what he deemed useful fantasies, where his political opponents always wore black hats and twirled pencil moustaches. Breitbart knew the power of myth, of righteous anger, and most of all, the power of pissing people off.

Breitbart is to never issue another re-tweet of mine, issue another insult to another opponent, make another spurious smear-documentary using footage without permission, or claim another "narrative" is being ignored.

Whatever backlash Breitbart now receives in death is fully earned, for if your a Combat General, and your going to engage your enemy in hand-to- hand verbal combat, expect to have your enemies urinating on you when your dead - at least that's how Breitbart's Lieutenant [Dana Loesch] explains justification for the doing the task.

Breitbart was deliberately uncivil in his public life and called his many enemies vile and despicable names. He envisioned himself a hero, and loved the role of tea bagger saint - he was both distressing and harrying to the national narrative. He has any number of minions ready to take his place - enter Dana Loesch, whom made Breitbart proud as the ever loathsome understudy - with her "once penetrated, always penetrable"-style defense of Virginia’s invasive abortion ultrasound bill.

Epithet: Andrew Breitbart, major asshat of epic proportions - "Death of a Salesman" if you will, unfortunately 90% of the world wasn't buying what Andy was selling!

So as they dig Breitbart's grave, as some mourn his passing - with me knowing his penchant for panache, I feel juts fine about calling him a disgusting slimy piece of pig shit.

Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead, The Wicked Witch Is Dead.

UPDATED 3/2/2012 21:55

As I write this, I wish I could tell you all that I am sorry or sad that Breitbart is gone. I can't!

Breitbart was a poison to this country and society as a whole, he was everything not to be as an "American" or better yet a human, in the bigger scheme of things, we're better off with this type of firebrand off terra firma.

Having never met the man in person, only in virtual land, I can tell you that I will not miss his take no prisoners style of political discourse. Breitbart was the poster child for what’s wrong with our political system today. Breitbart was made for TV. Inviting him on a talk show was like carrying a lit Bic lighter through a gun powder facility.

"Patriot" - Breitbart was no patriot. He represented everything wrong with American discourse today. He was a pathological liar, a video manipulator and a destroyer of anything not tea bagger . To call him a patriot is to believe in the same mythology that equates the Tea Party with the men who conducted the 1773 Boston Tea Party … you know, the one where the colonists said no to corporate tyranny, versus the “Tea Party” of today that defends corporations and attacks anything that creates a more kind and caring society.

Often is the case with tea baggers and the Andrew Breitbarts of the world, they often thought or think they are being patriotic for their radical ideology and rants of "behave yourself" at CPAC conventions -  I tell you in the same breath that even Napoleon Bonaparte thought he was being patriotic as he was being arrested for treason and for being a traitor!

I actually believe the man thrived on hate and discontent. If you watched his twitter account he'd be battling 15 different fights at the same time, all of them raging against the Breitbart regime. He must have been from the same mold as I, as I often get hate mail from tea baggers, and quoting NASCAR racer Kyle Busch, "haters are motivators".

I sit here in wonderment, could karma be considered a "natural cause?" I received a call today at the office, and here is the quote from the conversation, in it's entirety:
Death at such a young age (although he looked so much older) is normally a tragedy….but in my opinion, the Grim Reaper couldn’t have visited a more deserving recipient. Hooray! It’s a gift!

These are the sentiments of most [but most won't say it in public] spoken behind closed doors and in private conversations. I am not one to be politically correct, and I won't start with the death of Breitbart!

They say you shouldn’t speak ill of the dead, so I deleted all the stuff I wrote about pissing on his grave, doing a happy dance of joy over the good news and feeling elated to know that one of the single nastiest, most sociopathic human beings ever to stain American civic life has shuffled off this mortal coil.

Here are a few headlines that I thought fitting of Andy's death:

Breitbart’s Passing Reminds People that All Death Diminishes Us, Even a Slime Bag’s

Republican Jesus rejoices as Breitbart enters "Pearly gates"

But I thought "Ding Dong The Witch is Dead" was most appropos.

The last thing Breitbart would want now is a bunch of insincere tributes, and I can assure you I have been as sincere as I possibly could, but I will say this: The man was good at pissing off people like me, and for that I commend him, job well done, for I feel the same - if my blog hasn't pissed off a tea bagger then its' time to hang up the keyboard.

I am wondering, will O'Keefe usurp the throne? The Beritbart kingdom is in chaos! One thing is certain, Breitbart will never 'tweet" again.

So as to keep up with the Breitbart spirit:
"The autopsy is reporting that Brietbart’s ticker popped when he heard yet more good news on the improving American economy. That he died on the toilet may be my own spin or editing, but spread it around anyway: it’s the Breitbart way!" Edited video to follow!
Breitbart lived and spent his adult life "beyond the pale"..... I say Karma’s a bitch, isn't it? All Breitbart accomplished with his life was to make his world a meaner, shittier place to live in.

I leave you readers with this quote:

“I didn’t attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it.” ~ attributed to Mark Twain.

BREAKING: EXTREME RADICAL BLOGGER ANDREW BREITBART DEAD AT 43

BREITBART DROPS DEAD (Andy pictured far right)

Andrew Breitbart drops dead. Andrew Breitbart: Death of a Douche

While I despised every moral fiber of the man named Andrew Breitbart, I never wished death on the radical teapublican.

Brietbart was a key promoter of the deceptively edited ACORN videos that were instrumental in shutting that organization down while denying any knowledge of the fabricated nature of the controversy.

Recently, Breitbart’s behavior had become erratic, leading to an widely publicized altercation with protesters in which he appeared drunk and disheveled. Brietbart had also recently been denied a motion to dismiss a civil suit brought against him by Shirley Sherrod. Sherrod, another victim of Breitbart’s penchant for misleading video edits, is suing Breitbart and two others for defamation.

I’ll admit, NFTOS has been very hard on Andrew Breitbart [and his half lettered band of bloggers], deservedly so. 43 is young to die, but the fact remains that Breitbart was not a nice man. His life’s mission was to destroy people, using whatever means, honest or not, possible.

If radical tea baggers are looking for the tear here, or the sympatric ear here - maybe just maybe, had Breitbart shown that amount of respect in the death of Ted Kennedy, then maybe -nah, wrong blogger for that story.

In 2009:
"Early this morning, news broke that Sen. Ted Kennedy had passed away after serving in the U.S. Senate for nearly 50 years. Soon after, conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart began a sustained assault on Kennedy’s memory, tweeting “Rest in Chappaquiddick.”

Over the course of the next three hours, Breitbart unapologetically attacked Kennedy, calling him a “villain,” “a big ass motherfucker,” a “duplicitous bastard” and a “prick.” “I’ll shut my mouth for Carter. That’s just politics. Kennedy was a special pile of human excrement,” wrote Breitbart in one tweet."
God has clearly delivered his disapproval of Mr. Breitbart. I fear his soul is doomed to eternal damnation, but that's just me. Realist must turn away from instigators like Brieibart, or we shall all probably share his fate at the rapture, or maybe as Bill Joel sang, "only the good die young"! Which ever the case, the radical teas lost their ruler and harbinger today.

Many of those on the right are already crying foul and "conspiracy theories" today. “It’s impossible,” they say, “for someone so young to die of natural causes.” Well, actually, it’s not. Just two weeks ago, Pulitzer Prize winning war correspondent, Anthony Shadid, died of an asthma attack. Gilda Radner was 43 when she died of ovarian cancer. Conservative political strategist Lee Atwater, was just 40 when he died of brain cancer. Breitbart had a history of heart problems.

Many are calling Breitbart a "warrior" and "hero" - lets be clear readers, Breitbart was no hero! Heroes put their lives on the line for something they believe in - like dawning a uniform and standing a post beside a flag, protecting her from all foe, fighting for both Dems and GOP'ers, not just the radical ideology of those very right of center.

Breitbart destroyed people's lives for the sheer fun of it. And then acted like he was the victim when people called him out for being a horrible human being.

Yes, it is sad that he leaves behind four young children, and we all feel badly about that, but acting like this guy is any kind of hero is simply an insult to those whom really protect and defend our country. True "patriots" -  not asshats with tin foil wrapped too tightly around their heads.

Nobody deserves to die at such a young age, but I am simply not going to pretend that this guy was a contributing member of our society. He wasn't! He was a force of pure destruction, and GOD was watching.

I wonder if Dana Loesch would approve of urinating on the deceased Breitbart?

UPDATE: 21:01 3/1/2012

Post Script: Written many hours after original post.

As per scripture, I imagine Breitbart was judged, [by the ones whom truly
have the ultimate say, which is not any human]. I see St. Peter holding Breitbart up at the "Pearly Gates" saying; your creator and savior are here, and I have bad news for you Andy.

Upon hearing the news, Breitbart turns towards the beast [his master] and he slowly ebbs his way towards his home in eternity which is hell - he turns his slumped head to view over his shoulder - to hear all the angels, St. Peter, Christ and God chanting....."BEHAVE YOURSELF", "BEHAVE YOURSELF", "BEHAVE YOURSELF", "BEHAVE YOURSELF".

ONLY RUSH LIMBAUGH

RUSH "THE DRUGSTER" LIMBAUGH

Limbaugh: Student Denied Spot At Contraception Hearing Says "She Must Be Paid To Have Sex," So She's A "Slut" And "Prostitute"

Female law student Sandra Fluke, who was prevented from testifying at Darrell Issa’s anti-birth control hearing recently, spoke to a Democrat-sponsored hearing last week about the importance of reproductive health care for women, and the cost of contraception coverage.

Her testimony has provoked some shockingly ugly hatred from Reich-wingers, but Rush "the drugster" Limbaugh, the true leader of bigotry and hate - takes it another step into the gutter today, calling Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute.”

The Drugster:
What does it say about the college coed Susan Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex? What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex.

She's having so much sex she can't afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex. What does that make us? We're the pimps.

The johns, that's right. We would be the johns -- no! We're not the johns. Well -- yeah, that's right. Pimp's not the right word.

OK, so, she's not a slut. She's round-heeled. I take it back.

As ThinkProgress points out, Fluke was actually going to testify “about a friend who is a lesbian and needed birth control for non-sexual medical reasons," so not only is the drugster wrong on all accounts - he is still remains a pungent, vile, nasty ball of lard.

The drugster is a racist pig, and a sterling representative of the modern radical teapublican.

There is little problem with this pig doing his daily dose of Negro bashing, Gay bashing, Women bashing, Indian bashing, Liberal bashing, Environmentalist bashing, or the raw unbridled hatred he expresses three hours a day toward President Obama, for after all, that hatred is what conservatives are most about. Neither is there much problem in him disallowing the airing of any opposition to anything he says; totalitarian fascism is also so indicative of the conservative mindset that he should not be castigated for just doing his job. But Rush goes beyond the standard fare of hate directed at the enemies of conservatives - the loathsome do-gooders and the dreaded others - by delving into a realm of sleaze and unfairness seldom witnessed outside the pages of the American Spectator.

AMERICAN THEOCRACY

GOP RADICAL IDEOLOGY

VA GOP, choke and puke politics:

The Virginia Senate voted Tuesday for a scaled-back version of a contentious proposal that would require women to undergo external ultrasounds before abortions, but not the transvaginal ones.

The 21-19 vote in the Republican-controlled Senate — mostly along party lines — came after Gov. Robert F. McDonnell asked legislators to soften the bill following protests on Capitol Square and mocking on national television, including “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and “Saturday Night Live.’’

McDonnell, an abortion opponent who had said he would sign the bill, asked lawmakers to amend the measure after it became clear the original legislation would have required a vaginal ultrasound in most cases because abortions usually occur in the first trimester.

The Senate amended the bill to exclude women who have reported to law enforcement that they are victims of rape and incest. But women who know that their fetus suffers from birth defects would have to undergo an ultrasound.

Two Democrats — Sen. Charles Colgan (Prince William) and Phil Puckett (Russell) — voted with Republicans. One Republican, Sen. John Watkins (Chesterfield), voted with Democrats.

Because another amendment was added to the bill on Tuesday, the measure goes to the Republican-dominated House of Delegates for approval before it heads to McDonnell for his signature.
