CORPORATIONS ARE PEOPLE - WOMEN, NOT SO MUCH

"Be prepared, then, for racial and religious profiling, because you've got to blame somebody for all the reductions in domestic spending and civil liberties, just to make sure the agitators against the United Corporate States of America are kept unheard.

Be prepared for those poor dumb manipulated bastards, the Tea Partiers, to have a glorious few years as the front men as the corporations that bankroll them slowly unroll their total control of our political system. And then be prepared to watch them be banished, maybe outlawed, when a few of the brighter ones suddenly realize that the corporations have made them the Judas Goats of American Freedom."

The above quotes, and the below video [US Government for Sale] is by Keith Olbermann - of the once hit show MSNBC "Countdown". This story aired January 21, 2012. Watch it below.

US GOVERNMENT FOR SALE

Its amazing to see how many things Keith spoke and wrote about - almost two years ago, that are coming to fruition today. Scary, yes, real, yes, so what are we going to do about it?

MITT ROMNEY ON CORPORATIONS ARE PEOPLE TOO:

If corporations are truly people then let's put them in prison when they commit crimes.

How many prisons do we have to build to hold Halliburton behind bars for raping Jamie Leigh Jones? How about BP and the Gulf Oil Spill, sounds like vandalism run wild to me.Think of all the jobs and profits to be made from putting our corporate criminals behind bars. Fukushima, shouldn't those corporations that built the plant be held accountable, put in prison, and then assigned to be on the cleanup crews? But then again, thinking rationale, I don't think I would like Dick Cheney walking around picking up trash in my neighborhood - in his bright orange jump suit.

Citizens United was and is at the forefront of "corporations are people" - whom are the lunatic fringe of the right, and they assert their mission as "being dedicated to restoring the United States government to "citizens' control" and to "assert American values of limited government, freedom of enterprise, strong families, and national sovereignty and security."

This philosophy is a fascist shell game, corporations are only people when it is advantageous to the corporation in its pursuit of profit, regardless of consequences.

Let's face it readers, corporations are an artificial legal construct designed to shield the owners of a business from legal liability arising from its actions. It serves a useful purpose in society, but it is not a person. It is not created equal to humans and it does not have inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It does not get to vote, and it has no place participating in the elections process. Whether and how much to tax corporations is an economic decision, far removed from the question of personhood. While decisions about how people are treated in a society are based on fundamental rights, decisions about how corporations are treated are based on the strategic best interests of the society as a whole. Corporations may be important to people, they may employ people, they may be owned and run by people, but they are not people.

MEDIA FIRESTORM

Veteran newsman Ted Koppel appeared as a special contributor to NBC’s “Rock Center” on Thursday to launch an apparent war on what he believes is “partisan ranting” masquerading as news coverage at Fox News, MSNBC and other partisan media.

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

I disagree with Koppel on many issues, MSNBC's afternoon and evening shows do not pretend to be news; they are pure unadulterated commentary. Faux News pretends to be news, but is also commentary. That is a major difference. One can live with both so long as there is no deception. Fixed Noise deceives. Fair and balanced it is not. News it is not.

MSNBC is open about what its shows are, and it does not invoke "fear" in its viewership with lies, incendiary rhetoric, "Egypt Caliphate conspiracy theories", nor does it have a "Michelle Malakin", whom often is spitting, seething and drooling into the camera every night.

Looking back on TV history, this type point/counter point began long ago starting with shows like "Meet the Press" "McLaughlin Group" and "60 minutes" - that showed there was an actual market for this political discussion in addition to gotcha journalism.

Blaming MSNBC for "degenerating " politics is ridiculous. Saying that it has effected the ability for Congress to do it's job is more than ridiculous. The reality is, news is a business. What people are craving now is honest news, commentary based on facts - not full of fecal matter.

There was a basic false equivalency in comparing MSNBC to Fixed News, and that difference is Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch. Anyone who has seen the documentary film "Outfoxed" knows that what Faux does differs fundamentally from how MSNBC operates.

OUTFOXED

Faux News lies and uses predetermined talking points that come from the corporate suites - the opinions on MSNBC are those of the individual commentators. Furthermore, the standards of people Koppel threw under the bus are far loftier than the hacks on Faux News. Political voices like Rachel Maddow, Ed Shultz, Rev. and Al Sharpton [MSNBC] use facts to express opinion, not political directives from on high.

The piece also made a false equivalency in trashing the many straight news journalists that are to be found on MSNBC for most of the daytime broadcasting schedule. It was unfair to people such as Chuck Todd, Tamron Hall, Thomas Roberts, Alex Witt, Andrea Mitchell and others who present straight news. You will never find Faux news minions with the same journalistic professionalism.

While MSNBC may have a liberal slant in its opinions, it does not make up crap out of whole cloth like Faux News.

BULL SHIT MOUNTAIN

In case you missed it, Jon Stewart delivered what may be the best 10 minutes and 27 seconds you'll see on TV this entire campaign season. Stop what you're doing and watch it now!

Mitt Romney hasn't been having the best week. A leaked video of seemingly classist remarks he made during a fundraiser in May has caused a media firestorm, and his campaign has taken a major hit as a result.

See, the whole scandal won't look so career-ending if you just scramble to find a flattering angle.

DAWN OF THE DEAD

VOTER INTEGRITY PROJECT "TODAYS WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD"

Voter Integrity Project

The Voter Integrity Project [VIP] has been fraudulently duping the citizens of this country claiming to be a non-partisan, non-profit corporation. Being a non-profit means that their tax returns are public record. Well according to the State of North Carolina they are not registered as a non-profit, they are a for profit business. Actually they are an affiliate of the Tea-Party Group true the vote.

VIP is devoted to reducing the potential for voter fraud - this group of wing-nuts has willfully and willingly presented the N.C. Board of Elections with a list of nearly 30,000 names of dead people statewide who are still registered to vote. Voter fraud is only .000004 % country wide.

VOTER FRAUD:

The Voter Integrity Project compiled the list after obtaining death records from the state Department of Public Health from 2002 to March 31 2012 and comparing them to the voter rolls.
“Mainly, what we’re concerned about is the potential [for fraud],” said project director Jay DeLancy. “Since there is no voter ID law in North Carolina, anybody can walk in and claim to be anyone else.”

DeLancy said his group has found evidence to suggest voter fraud in these numbers, but will not quantify how much until he is able to do more analysis. Most cases of what look like a dead person voting are likely just administrative errors, such as a son named Junior voting in his father’s name instead of his own.

Besides being factually challenged - a waste of valuable time, money and resources, these tea baggers are the pimple on the ass of society that never goes away.

NFTOS has debunked voter fraud numerous times, I can’t imagine anyone, never mind thousands of people going through the trouble of finding dead voters, identifying and going to their correct polling location, waiting in line and voting as that person all for one vote. You’d be better off going door to door or phone banking trying to motivate like minded voters to get to the polls, you know like most logical campaigns do during the voting season. Its like a teenage kid lying and deceiving to get out of homework, when the best thing and easiest thing to do would have been to just do the homework. Not the tea bagger, we going to show the world just how ignorant we are. Imagine what the tea bagger could have accomplish had they truly done something for the betterment of man kind, its obvious that this primitive form of human, you know the troglodytes [circa 2012 tea party enthusiast] only mission is to see Barack Obama as a one term POTUS. Yes, even if that means wake the "dawn of the dead"!

Lets face it readers, things aren't going so well for the teas this election cycle . Desperate times call for desperate measures, even if it is in the name of the galactically Stupid.

NINCOMPOOPS, KNUCKLEHEADS, AND DIMWITS

The American Taliban Rejects The Veterans Job Act 2012

Forty dimwitted teapublican members of the United States Senate betrayed veterans yesterday when they decided that denying President Obama a victory was more important than spending $1 billion to create jobs for vets.

The bill that Senator Pat Murray wrote, the Veterans Job Corps Act of 2012 would have trained and employed veterans for jobs in forests, wildlife refuges, parks, cemeteries and other public lands. Murray proposed paying for the $1 billion tab over five years in part by collecting delinquent taxes from both Medicare providers and suppliers, and from individuals with more than $50,000 in unpaid taxes.

In a statement, Murray denounced the Republican blockade:
“It’s both shocking and shameful that Republicans today chose to kill a bill to put America’s veterans back to work. At a time when one in four young veterans are unemployed, Republicans should have been able, for just this once, to put aside the politics of obstruction and to help these men and women provide for their families.

“But this vote is stark reminder that Senator McConnell and Senate Republicans are willing to do absolutely anything to fulfill the pledge he made nearly two years ago to defeat President Obama. It doesn’t matter who gets in their way or which Americans they have to sacrifice in that pursuit, even if it’s our nation’s veterans.

The theme of the American Taliban [GOP] is "lose to win", sink to swim, escalate to disengage, shoot first, aim later.

Upon his Presidential arrival, President Obama was greeted with a Three Mile Island of an economy, so bad that in most paranoid recesses of the mind one could wonder if the "American Taliban" didn't plan it this way, to leave Obama in a position of having to prove the ultimate negative, that he staved off worldwide financial collapse, that if he had not done what he so swiftly did, that this economic cloudy day would have otherwise been the 'biblical flood of finance".

Yet since the onslaught of the tea bagger regime [2010 midterm elections] time and time again these do-nothings have done just that, do absolutely nothing. And at what cost? To ensure that Barack Obama doesn't win the November election? These very humans, whom can brush their own teeth, probably, provide us yet again, more choke and puke politics. I am not saying that these 40 Senators are intellectual midgets whom prostitute themselves to their radical base, who will do anything for big money, corrupt healthcare, and whose myopia could lead to the demise of this great country. I'm just saying -

If any two of the teapublicans on this list would have decided to put our veterans first, this bill would have moved forward. Instead, these simpletons, these teapublican Senators thanked veterans by denying them jobs.

This party aptly named "The American Taliban" [Senate Republican] actually fled from the media and refused to take questions at their weekly press conference yesterday. If you are represented by one of these senators, take the time to attend one of their events and ask them why they don’t want veterans to have jobs.

Between Mitt Romney’s secret videotape and yesterday's teapublican Senate vote, it is clear where the tea baggers stand. Twice in one week U.S. Soldiers where called moochers and job losers.

Is this what teapublicans consider patriotism? If so, I don’t want any part of their patriotism! Our veterans deserve better, and our nation’s deserves better leadership than this!

Only 47 more days until we get to go to the polls and vote for candidates who truly do support our troops.

POLITICAL TOURETTE'S SYNDROME

Romney/Ryan Suffer From "Political Tourette's Syndrome"

‎"STOP BEING THE VICTIM"

Mitt Romney's 47% aren't who he wants you to think they are. Like most teapublicans, Mitt Romney wants you to believe they're single urban welfare moms with multiple children and no job, or unemployed slackers who refuse to work. But the truth -- the majority of the 47 percent are elderly Romney voters.

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Romney's draconian callousness goes against the American grain. Americans do not see themselves as victims, but as potential winners, even in rough times. Romney's contempt for the 47 percent violates a central tenet of the American dream: anyone can make it. Romney is saying that half the country can't make it, doesn't even want to make it, and are parasites on the rest. Asking for their vote would be like Satan asking God to become evil. WTF?

Romney is a cynical man with a cynical tone, different and yet more convincing than his usual magniloquent public speech. The best defense of it - morally - is that it was designed for an audience of super-rich donors who say these things all the time in private, listen to Rush Limbaugh, and needed to be ginned up. He is whatever he needs to be for each separate audience. He aims to please the listeners of that moment.

So there are two possible realities: this is the true Mitt Romney, a callous cynic with contempt for half the country, or that Mittens is a man so empty of human qualities he even has to fake cynicism.

Remember, Mitt Romney is an economic royalist to the core of his being. When he disdains the poor, it is with the regal wave of the high born dismissing peasants. He dines on silver, defecates on a golden toilet, and would assume the throne of US president as its rightful heir.

Keith Olbermann Addresses the Romney video:

Stephen Colbert depicting Mittens:

For the benefit of the factually challenged, nothing is more subtle than this condescending tea bagger telling 47% of the country that you're lazy and unwilling to work. Remember readers that the word "honest" as is important as the word "debate". The latter without the former is better known as "Political Tourette's Syndrome". This syndrome is a functionality of both Romney and Ryan.

It is in these last few weeks, self evident that the greatest threat to our nation is not terrorism, not the economy, nor the latest virus nor health care, no readers, the greatest threat to the United States is rank, willful stupidity! When did we come to extol stupidity ahead of factual information and rely on conspiracy theories, lies, and prejudice ahead of education? When did we start to elect the "impregnable" dense?

A house divided against itself cannot sustain itself, this country cannot endure, permanently half smart, and half stupid. The time has come to rise above self imposed ignorance, to rise up and take this country back to the sane again, make it safe for the people whom actually completed the seventh grade.

This country cannot survive the continued endorsement, the continued acceptance, the continued encouragement, the institutionalization, of stupidity.

President bush and his administration lied and lied often - by the counting of one non-profit group - 532 times did they lie about links between Al Qaeda and Iraq. Only 28 of those where G.W's lies, but he more than made up for that by lying 231 times about WMD.

Whether it's bold face lies or a contempt for 47 % of your countries humanity, its time to call a spade a spade. Mitten's and lyin Ryan's relentless attacks on women, African Americans, Hispanics, elderly, students, middle class has to end on November 6th, for if not the America you see now will sure cease to exist. Romney and Ryan suffer from "Political Tourette's Syndrome", lets not allow this disease to enter to coveted offices of the White House and Vice Presidency.

DISDAIN AND CONTEMPT

Mittens Explains his disdain and contempt for the 47%

..."Those People".....

In a span of two weeks. two titans of knee-jerk, Reich-wing. brains-free, racist, xenophobic, delusional, greedy, unfeeling, inept, indifferent, self-inflating, and unconscionable profitable voices of the lunatic right wing fringe self destructed.

It's official, Mitt Romney is a douche bag! It's not normal that another's words piss me off, but Mittens has accomplished what little can do. It's not the sophistry of this simpletons views on our country that infuriates me, its the refusal to use any intellectual energy in arriving at it. You can always tell, can't you, Mittens, when the hostage is reading his own ransom note, and when he is reading one written for him.

Mittens got caught up in the moment, the moment of boasting to rich radical tea baggers, which always seems like a good idea, that is until you find yourself in the terminal stages of an answer so labyrinth, so filled with double entendres, disdain and content, that you remember a time when you're not in front of these radical tea baggers lost in your own sentences.

According to the right-wing paranoia prophet, [at a 50, 000 dollar a plate fundraiser in Florida recently] Mitt Robme tells his tribe of banshees his true feelings about 47% of Americans:
"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what," Romney says in one clip. "All right -- there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent on government, who believe that, that they are victims, who believe that government has the responsibility to care for them. Who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing."
"My job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives,"

The facts that the ignoramous ignored: [see chart below]

A few mere problems with the idea of the overburdened "53 percent." Many Americans don't pay federal income taxes, in part, because of deductions like the child tax credit that have been championed by conservatives and progressives alike. Almost all of the "47 percent" do pay other federal taxes in the form of Social Security and Medicare payroll deductions and gas levies, as well as a variety of state and local sales and property taxes that aren't dependent on income.

Unraveling an often stated teapublican myth about who pays taxes in America - newly pertinent due to Mr. Romney's astonishing words in a leaked video that just came out.

A wise man once said:
"Teach a man to fish, and he will eat for life, Society is built on an individuals responsibility and access to opportunity.

A teapublican will then slash the fishing education, vilify the teachers, reward the corporate fisheries, gut regulation on protecting the fishing industry, all the while whining, that teaching a man how to fish is socialism, and then and only then, will they blame the 47% of its citizenry for being lazy and wanting/waiting for government handouts "
Cognitive dissonance is, in the simplest of terms - a state of holding two or more conflicting ideas or beliefs at the same time... This is what is required to believe the radical teapublican theocracy. Robme and Lyin Ryan should have a new campaign strategy, which is to have their mouths wired shut until after November 6th.

NFTOS readers, let's not let a few dumb things Mittens has said in private overshadow the many idiotic things he's said in public!

Of late, we have learned that this magical underwear tour, this very bombastic dynamic duo, has very little quantifiable brain matter to occupy the two top offices of our country.

You have sat too long Mittens for any good that you may think you have been doing lately. Depart, I say, and let us be done with you! In the name of God, go!

RADICAL TEA MOST DISLIKED GROUP

TEA PARTY MOST DISLIKED AMONGST MANY

NFTOS NEWS FLASH:

POLL: TEA PARTY LESS POPULAR THAN MUSLIMS, ATHEISTS, 21 OTHER GROUPS

The debt ceiling deal has left the Tea Party more disliked than ever, as a recent New York Times poll shows. In April, 2010, 21 percent of Americans approved of the Tea Party while 18 percent disapproved of it. Now, 20 percent approve while a stunning 40 percent disapprove of it. Ironically, the conservative movement is now more unpopular than two often-marginalized groups it sometimes rails against — Muslims and atheists — and is the least popular of the 23 groups the poll asked about:
The Tea Party ranks lower than any of the 23 other groups we asked about — lower than both Republicans and Democrats. It is even less popular than much maligned groups like “atheists” and “Muslims.” Interestingly, one group that approaches it in unpopularity is the Christian Right.

REPUBLICANS ARE A DUMBER LOT

The American Taliban (GOP)

Former teapublican presidential hopeful Rick "Frothy" Santorum, addressing attendees at the Values Voter Summit on Saturday, said that:
“We will never have the media on our side, ever, in this country. We will never have the elite, smart people on our side.”
Describing a divide between the GOP and the media, Santorum told the audience that the media “doesn’t like the other side,” BuzzFeed’s Rosie Gray reported yesterday.
“If just a few people make decisions about what this world looks like, what this country looks like,” he said, “then you have people sitting in offices at major media outlets and Hollywood who think they can deal with a small group of people, to get them to jump through the hoops they want you to.”
Santorum also criticized the libertarian wing of the Republican party who:
“don’t want to talk about social issues,” saying that “without the church and the family, there is no conservative movement, there is no basic values of America.”

Unlettered is how the tea party likes it's base, the dumber, the better, hence the information disseminated from Fixed Noise on a daily bases. The GOP doesn't want educated people, or people who actually read (versus taking everything Rush says literally and as the absolute truth) to vote. Consequently, the voter suppression wars going on in the swing states that Romney needs to win. GOP ers don't want people who actually study the issues, because that would mean they would understand that Romney's true record portrays what a Presidential candidate shouldn't be.

Even a broke clock is right twice a day, and "Frothy" has never been more correct. Intelligent people shall always abhor the GOP in its current form. It's a political party on life support, but already in a brain dead state. This is their finale before taking their rightful place - which is the trash heap of history.

I say good for "Forthy" - for admitting the GOP is full of idiots, its the first step to recovery.

WILL THE REAL MITT ROMNEY PLEASE STAND UP

MITT ROMNEY'S CAMPAIGN

Flip-flopping Mitt Romney has been plagued by the question, "Will the real Mitt Romney please stand up?"

Imagine how hard it is being Mitt Romney. "Let's see, which one am I supposed to be today? Am I the Tea Party champion, the hater of Obamacare, the crusader bent on tearing into the Nation's Capitol and tearing down everything Obama built, starting with that terrible health care plan based on...Uh Oh - based on my health care plan in Massachusetts?"

As we know, Mittens has a certain inability to connect with potential voters because of his frequent and very convenient shifts in views on pretty much everything - that along with his distortions of truths has solidified him as an unworthy President.

Gov." Dagwood " (I finally figured out what comic strip character he reminds me of) Romney can't seem to get his mind around anything of substance. He's not an orator, he's not a deep thinker, or a visionary. He's certainly not presidential material, though he looks like a president and that seems to be all he has gong for him.

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Mitt Romney and the Teapublicans are practicing seditious demagoguery and anti-democracy obstructionism intended to destabilize our economy for purposes of social, political and financial exploitation.

Teapublicans aren't making a sincere effort to stop the bleeding their deregulated leadership and failed policies created. Instead, Mittens and Paul Ryan et al. are using inflammatory lies and false accusations as a smokescreen to conceal their subversive agenda, which is to cause the American people to blame Democrats for the consequences of their calamitous mismanagement.

Mittens is preposterously professing that his disgraceful political whoring and business ethics had nothing to do with his cut and slashing of companies for personal riches and personal gains!

Mittens and Ryan are trying to hamstring Democrats to prevent them from repairing the damage caused during the failed Bush presidency - enabled by teapublican Senators and Representatives.

Mittens is offering ridiculous arguments meant solely to disrupt and prevent constructive change. He'd rather create the suffering of American families than endure the political consequences of human centered effective governance.

Teapublicans aren't the loyal opposition; they are the enemy within whose mercenary priorities have eroded their moral and ethical standards to the point that duplicity and betrayal have become their preferred modus operandi.

It's one thing to advocate conservative beliefs; it's another thing entirely to willfully sabotage America's government because a Democratic presidency would not be vulnerable to the avarice, fears and bigotries that have produced and sustained the despicable teapublican anti-humanity corporatism and anti-Christian faux theocracies that are poisoning and crippling the American society.

Sooner or later, the real Mitt Romney must present himself to the American people. Will the real Mitt Romney please stand up?

WORK TO BE DONE IN WASHINGTON DC - HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES NOWERE TO BE FOUND

NO WORKING ZONE

House Republican Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) announced Friday that after next week, the House will stand in recess until November 13. His plan for a nearly two month vacation will undoubtedly allow more time for campaigning, but will leave several vital bills awaiting action.

Among the important legislation the House will likely not address before the November elections:

1. Violence Against Women Act re-authorization. Though a bipartisan Senate majority passed the a strong re-authorization bill in April, the Republican House leadership refused to allow a vote on the Senate version of the bill. The House passed a watered down version on a mostly-party lines vote, leaving victims to wait for House action.

2. The American Jobs Act. Republicans have been blocking President Obama’sjobs legislation for more than a year. Though House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) promised in 2010 that a GOP Congress would focus on job creation, he has blocked this bill’s immediate infrastructure investments, tax credits for working Americans and employers, and aid to state and local governments to prevent further layoffs of teachers, firefighters, police officers, and other public safety officials.

3. Tax cuts for working families. In July, the Senate passed a bill extending tax-cuts for the first $250,000 in annual income. The Republican House leadership has refused to consider the bill, holding it hostage to their demands for a full extension of Bush-era tax cuts for millionaires.

4. Veterans Job Corps Act. The Senate is currently considering bipartisan legislation to help America’s veterans find jobs. The Air Force Times reports that the Republican House has “shown no interest” in the legislation to support those who served the country.

5. Sequestration. A spokesman for Boehner said earlier this week that stopping budget cuts he voted for last August “topped our July agenda and remains atop our agenda for September.” While House Republicans have complained about the imminent spending reductions and passed a bill that would require President Obama to find offsets for spending cuts they don’t like, Republican Leader Canter could not name a single compromise he was willing to make to get a deal.

6. Farm Bill. Despite strong support for a 5-year farm bill from even conservative groups like the Farm Bureau Association — the House leadership has not scheduled a vote on the bill. The current law expires September 30. Without passage, 90 percent of the work of the Department of Agriculture could be defunded.

7. Wind tax credit. The Senate may act next week to renew an expiring wind energy tax credit. Despite bipartisan support — including from original author Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), the Examiner notes that the House is unlikely to pass the renewal. Despite GOP calls for energy independence, the expiration has threatened the wind energy industry and already led to job cuts.

These, in addition to drought assistance, postal service reform, addressing the Estate Tax, cyber-security legislation, fixes for Medicare reimbursement rates and the Alternative Minimum Tax, and all 12 of the FY 2013 Appropriations Bills remain unaddressed.

Four years ago, Republicans objected when then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) adjourned Congress for a five-week August recess without bringing up their energy legislation. Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX) shouted “Madame Speaker, where art thou? Where oh where has Congress gone?” Now, they plan a two month vacation, even if it means allowing vital programs to expire and working families to suffer.

BLOCK THE VOTE X TWO

States That Are Trying To Suppress The Vote

Voter suppression laws have been passed across the country, but Pennsylvania's voter ID law may be the most restrictive one yet.

After yesterday's oral arguments, its fate now rests in the hands of the PA Supreme Court. If you missed it, check out the comprehensive coverage of what happened, and what we can expect.

Let's be clear readers the only way the Robme/Lyin Ryan ticket can win is to suppress the vote.

You think Newsroom was first? No. Keith Olbermann talked about Dorothy Cooper and her inability to vote last year. He did what Newsroom does - but every single night. Substantive reporting, incisive commentary, and all delivered with wit and compassion.

I miss seeing my mentor Keith Olbermann on my TV screen each night.

If the above videos don't get your attention, watch this last one.

Get out and "rock the vote" readers, speak to your neighbors, your workmates, speak at social events, we need to ensure that "all" Americans keep this very fundamental right, the right to vote!

LYING FOR THE LORD

Mitt Romney "LYING FOR THE LORD"

Mitt Romney's bid to be President of the United States has made the question, "Who are the Mormons?" It's not a simple question to answer. One place to start is to understand, "Where did the Mormon culture come from? What is their history?"

"LYIN FOR THE LORD": Wikipedia says: "Lying for the Lord refers to the practice of lying to protect the image of and belief in the Mormon religion, a practice which Mormonism itself fosters in various ways. From Joseph Smith's denial of having more than one wife, to polygamous Mormon missionaries telling European investigators that reports about polygamy in Utah were lies put out by "anti-Mormons" and disgruntled ex-members, to Gordon B. Hinckley's dishonest equivocation on national television over Mormon doctrine, Mormonism's history seems replete with examples of lying. Common members see such examples as situations where lying is justified. For the Mormon, loyalty and the welfare of the church are more important than the principle of honesty, and plausible denials and deception by omission are warranted by an opportunity to have the Mormon organization seen in the best possible light. This is part of the larger package of things that lead many to describe Mormonism as a cult. "Lying for the lord" is part of Mormonism's larger deceptive mainstreaming tactics, and conversion numbers would drastically lower if important Mormon beliefs were fully disclosed to investigators."

It's a Mormon thing "Lying for the Lord". It's a tenet of the Mormon faith. Mormon ideology suggest that it's OK, that when in doubt just bald-faced lie, so long as it's a lie that somehow furthers the Mormon cause.

LYING FOR THE LORD BOB MILLET STYLE

Is this why Mittens won't release his tax returns?
One Mormon blogger writes: "When I was a missionary, the church’s official Missionary Guide instructed missionaries to avoid providing direct answers or solutions to investigators' questions or concerns." On his mission, he "fell back on rhetorical tricks or even outright denials."

Mormon Molly Bennion writes:
"Many have argued, often under the guise of 'milk before meat,' that we must not disillusion the new or weak with all-too-human history or the questioning of the Lord’s anointed–questioning being by definition under this theory, criticism, even heresy. Better the lie." Mormon missionaries won't tell you they think God--a man who became a god--physically lives on a planet near a star-base named Kolob. Why? Because it is "meat".

Mormons often appeal to the concept of "milk before meat" to justify not disclosing potentially shocking and embarrassing doctrines.

Is this why Mittens doesn't discuss his religion with us?

The Mormon Church believes that lying for the Lord is under certain circumstances an acceptable practice. An example of that is when Mormons lie or obfuscate about their belief that God the Father had physical sexual contact when he impregnated Mary.

Some believe that Romney lied when he was running for Mass Governor and did not advocate restricting abortion, introducing his Obama like Health Plan, or defending the Rights of Gay People.

Now he has assumed diametrically opposing positions, like acceptance of the GOP abortion plank without exceptions for rape or incest. Was he lying then or is he lying now?
NFTOS Fact: Even atheists value truth. ”Truth”, may be a religious concept, but more importantly it’s a value, a character trait, a matter of morality. I don’t care what your religion is, or if you are religious, but I do care if I can’t trust you to tell me the truth.

Mittens has been labeled a flip-flopper, Perhaps he isn’t flip flopping, maybe he is just “Lying for the Lord”. Perhaps voters will be unwilling to vote for Mitt Romney, not because their religion is different than his, but because of the difference we place on the importance of telling the truth.

This is why America can't trust believing Mitt Romney with our nation. Mormons do not believe that it's necessary to tell the truth, how can Mittens do what's right for others, or safeguard the nation if he believes that it's necessary to do otherwise to protect the Mormon Church?

THE WORST OF MITT ROMNEY

The condescending smirk of Mitt Romney

There's a difference between acting Presidential and pretending you're President.

This morning we woke up to news that the American ambassador and three staffers were killed in an attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya. The mob violence was sparked by a private citizen's anti-Islam video.

Before violence erupted at the American consulate, the U.S. embassy condemned the fringe YouTube video - And in most intelligent circles, this should have been an easy task for the man on the magical underwear tour, yet Mittens took the low road this morning. All Mittens had to do was come out, denounce the violence, honor the fallen, and extend his condolences to the families of the victims. But right at the top, Romney condemned messages from officials under attack in the U.S. embassy in Cairo, falsely accusing them "apologizing for our values." Romney, in an official statement, said 'the Obama administration's first response' to the violence was to 'sympathize with those who waged the attacks' on our consulate. That's not what happened!

Yet again, Mittens chooses the path that is not of least resistance. Lets face it readers, the Rombe/Ryan ticket and it's foreign policy skill set is an abomination of everything realistic and humanistic in our society.

Romney raced to politicize an international crisis without knowing all of the facts, risking further inflaming of the situation while US citizens remain in harms way in those countries solely for his own political gain, engaging in an unprecedented undermining of the US administration on active matters of foreign policy rather than ending politics at the waters edge, and judging the efforts of those in the Cairo Embassy about to be attacked to calm the situation from the safety of a 7000 foot mansion with Secret Service protection should all be disqualifying: Romney lacks the temperament and judgment to be Commander in Chief, and clearly cannot be trusted to make the decisions about putting America's sons and daughters in harms way.

As a staunch democrat and American I genuinely want to know what kind of person sees a foreign attack on Americans -- an attack that has reportedly led to four U.S. deaths -- and thinks it's acceptable to lie about the violence to gain a few points in the polls. The campaign isn't going Romney's way right now, but is that an excuse to exploit the death of Americans with cheap rhetoric? In the face of violence abroad, this was Romney's first instinct?

This press conference was at best irresponsible, at worst, a political mistake of epic proportions. Mittens has to be the biggest asshat this side of planet Kolob.

Romney must have realized that he was wrong overnight, but apparently feels as if backing down isn't a credible option -- so he's digging deeper, politicizing a tragedy, repeating falsehoods, and desperately trying to smear the president during an unfolding crisis.

It's a familiar pattern: Romney says something classless and untrue; he gets called out for his mendacity; then he repeats the falsehood under the cynical assumption that voters are easily fooled and there will be no consequences. This time, however, the GOP candidate is trying the strategy while trying to exploit deadly violence against Americans abroad.

Time and time again we see the GOP Presidential freight train crashing, but yet this time the blathering duo is crossing a line that even Aleistar Crowley wouldn't cross.

A DAY TO REFLECT

"As painful as this day is and always will be, it leaves us with a lesson: that no single event can ever destroy who we are, no act of terrorism can ever change what we stand for. Instead we recommit ourselves to the values that we believe in, holding firmly without wavering, to the hope that we confess. That’s the commitment that we reaffirm today, and that’s why when the history books are written, the true legacy of 9/11 will not be one of fear or hate or division; It will be a safer world, a stronger nation, and a people more united than ever before."

— President Barack Obama

May we never forgot those whom have fallen - and for those whom shall fall in the future fighting for our freedom.

I'VE SEEN ROMNEY & BAIN

The Democratic National Convention last week hosted several music stars to include the Foo Fighters, Mary J. Blige and James Taylor.

James Taylor was probably not expecting his performance to receive too much buzz around the internet (certainly not as much as Eastwooding did from the GOP Convention the week before). However, Jimmy Fallon chose him as the topic of his newest music parody, taking the lyrics to his classic “Fire and Rain” and giving them an election spin – ending up with “Romney and Bain”.

The song was a clear endorsement of the Obama campaign with the refrain: “So I’ll prob’ly vote Obama again”.

WORLD CLASS LIAR

Paul "Lyin" Ryan

Ryan: I Didn't Vote For Defense Cuts I Voted For

Vice Presidential candidate Paul Ryan has gotten in hot water before for criticizing President Obama for the very same defense cuts that he voted for in 2011. When confronted with this incongruity today on Face The Nation, Ryan simply denied that he ever voted for the cuts, telling an incredulous Norah O’Donnell that he didn’t actually vote for the cuts he’s on record as voting for:

O’Donnell is, in fact, not mistaken. The Budget Control Act, as passed, included both the roughly $600 billion in “sequestration” cuts that will happen if there’s no compromise on the budget by December as well as the $487 billion of military-supported cuts that will take place regardless. The fact that Ryan may have wished that the bill didn’t contain said defense cuts does not absolve him of the fact that he and 201 other Republicans voted for the bill as-passed.

Moreover, Ryan’s statement after voting for the bill contained not a single word of criticism about the defense cuts. As O’Donnell correctly noted, Ryan said the bill “represents a victory for those committed to controlling government spending and growing our economy” and that “The agreement – while far from perfect – underscores the extent to which the new House majority has successfully changed Washington’s culture of spending.” It’s at best misleading, and at worst an outright lie, for Ryan to assert that voting for the Budget Control Act did not mean voting for defense cuts.

This is the thing with pathological liars, they cannot keep track of the BS. What else is Paul "Eddie Munster" Ryan willing to lie about?

VIRGIL GOODE JR

Virgil Goode Jr Virginia Presidential Spolier
Spoiler Alert!

Friday night on “The Rachel Maddow Show,” Rachel Maddow discussed how a little-known third party candidate could scuttle Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA)’s electoral chances in the state of Virginia and thereby cost him the presidency.

At the outset of the segment, Maddow pointed out that according to some polls, the Democrats have gotten a slight bounce out of their convention, but reminded viewers that “National polls do not decide elections.” Elections are decided state by state according to the electoral college:
“It doesn’t matter how many votes Mitt Romney gets in California, he’s going to lose that state. It doesn’t matter how many votes President (Barack) Obama gets in Oklahoma, he’s going to lose Oklahoma, no matter what. It’s only the states that are in contention that really matter. They are the only ones that get fought over once the campaign has been joined in earnest.”

Virginia didn’t even have a Teapublican primary election this year. Getting on the ballot in Virginia requires meeting a fairly stringent set of requirements. Of the 6 candidates who ran in the GOP primary, only Mitt Romney and Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) were actually on the Virginia ballot.

One person who did make it on to the ballot for the general election in November, however, is the hard-right Constitution Party candidate and former Republican congressman Rep. Virgil Goode, Jr. (VA). Goode has been a Democrat and Republican, but in this election cycle has cast himself as an ultra-conservative alternative to Mitt Romney [AKA tea bagger].

Does Goode "Ralph Nader": Romney? Obviously this is the last thing that Romney wants to see on the ballot in Virginia. Goode stands a good chance of being the spoiler for Romney in the Commonwealth by siphoning away Teapublicans and other far-right voters, and thereby throwing the election by denying the former governor of the number of electoral votes by a wide margin. Even if Goode received just 2 percent or 3 percent of the vote in the general election, he could tip the scales in Virginia, where most surveys show Obama and Romney a few percentage points apart.

This is the scale tipper if you will [opposite of "suppress" the black vote] Let's see now, Goode a guy who couldn't retain his own Congressional seat believes he is a viable candidate for President? I love it, and it sounds good to me!

I am a firm believer that elections should be open, so no complaints here, just curiosity.

It's most certain that Goode is just a gnat-sized version of Ross Perot, an asterisk on the butt end of political trivia à la Lyndon LaRouche, the pimple on the posterior of the teapublican society, but if it causes the "magical underwear tour" a few heartaches and a loss in Virginia, go Virgil Goode!

Let's hope he does make a difference.

Virginia Attorney General Ken "remove the boob" Cuccinelli, a Romney supporter, is saying he will be "impartial" when deciding Goode's presidential fate, but yet we all know he is trying to have Goode taken off of the ballot in the fall, but whether he’ll be successful remains to be seen.
