When Roger West first launched the progressive political blog "News From The Other Side" in May 2010, he could hardly have predicted the impact that his venture would have on the media and political debate. As the New Media emerged as a counterbalance to established media sources, Roger wrote his copious blogs about national politics, the tea party movement, mid-term elections, and the failings of the radical right to the vanguard of the New Media movement. Roger West's efforts as a leading blogger have tremendous reach. NFTOS has led the effort to bring accountability to mainstream media sources such as FOX NEWS, Breitbart's "Big Journalism. Roger's breadth of experience, engaging style, and cultivation of loyal readership - over 92 million visitors - give him unique insight into the past, present, and future of the New Media and political rhetoric that exists in our society today. BREAKING: EXTREME RADICAL BLOGGER ANDREW BREITBART DEAD AT 43

BREITBART DROPS DEAD (Andy pictured far right)

Andrew Breitbart drops dead. Andrew Breitbart: Death of a Douche

While I despised every moral fiber of the man named Andrew Breitbart, I never wished death on the radical teapublican.

Brietbart was a key promoter of the deceptively edited ACORN videos that were instrumental in shutting that organization down while denying any knowledge of the fabricated nature of the controversy.

Recently, Breitbart’s behavior had become erratic, leading to an widely publicized altercation with protesters in which he appeared drunk and disheveled. Brietbart had also recently been denied a motion to dismiss a civil suit brought against him by Shirley Sherrod. Sherrod, another victim of Breitbart’s penchant for misleading video edits, is suing Breitbart and two others for defamation.

I’ll admit, NFTOS has been very hard on Andrew Breitbart [and his half lettered band of bloggers], deservedly so. 43 is young to die, but the fact remains that Breitbart was not a nice man. His life’s mission was to destroy people, using whatever means, honest or not, possible.

If radical tea baggers are looking for the tear here, or the sympatric ear here - maybe just maybe, had Breitbart shown that amount of respect in the death of Ted Kennedy, then maybe -nah, wrong blogger for that story.

In 2009:
"Early this morning, news broke that Sen. Ted Kennedy had passed away after serving in the U.S. Senate for nearly 50 years. Soon after, conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart began a sustained assault on Kennedy’s memory, tweeting “Rest in Chappaquiddick.”

Over the course of the next three hours, Breitbart unapologetically attacked Kennedy, calling him a “villain,” “a big ass motherfucker,” a “duplicitous bastard” and a “prick.” “I’ll shut my mouth for Carter. That’s just politics. Kennedy was a special pile of human excrement,” wrote Breitbart in one tweet."
God has clearly delivered his disapproval of Mr. Breitbart. I fear his soul is doomed to eternal damnation, but that's just me. Realist must turn away from instigators like Brieibart, or we shall all probably share his fate at the rapture, or maybe as Bill Joel sang, "only the good die young"! Which ever the case, the radical teas lost their ruler and harbinger today.

Many of those on the right are already crying foul and "conspiracy theories" today. “It’s impossible,” they say, “for someone so young to die of natural causes.” Well, actually, it’s not. Just two weeks ago, Pulitzer Prize winning war correspondent, Anthony Shadid, died of an asthma attack. Gilda Radner was 43 when she died of ovarian cancer. Conservative political strategist Lee Atwater, was just 40 when he died of brain cancer. Breitbart had a history of heart problems.

Many are calling Breitbart a "warrior" and "hero" - lets be clear readers, Breitbart was no hero! Heroes put their lives on the line for something they believe in - like dawning a uniform and standing a post beside a flag, protecting her from all foe, fighting for both Dems and GOP'ers, not just the radical ideology of those very right of center.

Breitbart destroyed people's lives for the sheer fun of it. And then acted like he was the victim when people called him out for being a horrible human being.

Yes, it is sad that he leaves behind four young children, and we all feel badly about that, but acting like this guy is any kind of hero is simply an insult to those whom really protect and defend our country. True "patriots" -  not asshats with tin foil wrapped too tightly around their heads.

Nobody deserves to die at such a young age, but I am simply not going to pretend that this guy was a contributing member of our society. He wasn't! He was a force of pure destruction, and GOD was watching.

I wonder if Dana Loesch would approve of urinating on the deceased Breitbart?

UPDATE: 21:01 3/1/2012

Post Script: Written many hours after original post.

As per scripture, I imagine Breitbart was judged, [by the ones whom truly
have the ultimate say, which is not any human]. I see St. Peter holding Breitbart up at the "Pearly Gates" saying; your creator and savior are here, and I have bad news for you Andy.

Upon hearing the news, Breitbart turns towards the beast [his master] and he slowly ebbs his way towards his home in eternity which is hell - he turns his slumped head to view over his shoulder - to hear all the angels, St. Peter, Christ and God chanting....."BEHAVE YOURSELF", "BEHAVE YOURSELF", "BEHAVE YOURSELF", "BEHAVE YOURSELF".

17 Reasons Why Breitbart Is Not To Be Trusted

Everything You Don't Want To Be, "Andrew Breitbart"

Current TV's Keith Olbermann Pointing Out Andy Breitbart's Great Jouralism

Debunking Breitbart's "Occupy Rape List"

Quoting fellow blogspot blogger "St. Louis Activist Hub" Whom knows the Breitbart clan better than most:
"But what I think is so valuable about Olbermann's research is that it shows, quite dramatically, just how morally bankrupt the Breitbartian version of "journalism" really is. In basically every case, Breitbart bloggers twisted reality to fit their narrative. A real journalist would wait for conclusive evidence before declaring that some person or movement was responsible for rapes or sexual assaults; at Breitbart's sites, they throw out the charges almost daily based on their own interpretations of limited and ambiguous information. It's very much like the Kenneth Gladney case; the video was anything but conclusive; all it showed was Perry Molens pulling Gladney away from McCowan at the end of a fight. Yet Breitbart's gang of hacks declared that the video provided conclusive proof that McCowan and Molens had severely beaten Gladney, and they steadfastly refused to engage in an honest assessment of the evidence."

Why does Breitbart not defend himself on this blatant bullshit hyperbole? Why is it always that one of the useful idiots at "Big" - enter Lee Stranahan, - ends up cleaning Breibart's bowel movements, i.e. do his dirty work for him?

Well two reasons, one, money, like blood, is thicker than water, and coddling to the boss' ass is one way to ensure your still gainfully employed, second, it gives those the attention [ the "15 minutes of fame seekers"] that they normally wouldn't have gotten at home - because mommy failed to give them attention as a child.

Comments on Stranahan's strory:

"Number sixteen: St. Louis. Again, the victim in an assault is identified as a member of Occupy, not the alleged perpetrator. ...

Woman assaulted AT Occupy. In her tent. That’s an Occupy related assault.

Wait – the assailant was homeless??! That changes … nothing."

Then why is Breitbart bellowing (drunkenly) AT Occupy to "STOP RAPING THE PEOPLE" when it's someone UNINVOLVED with the movement doing the alleged criminal activity?

For the love of Pete, Stranahan's logic is so warped and flat out dumb that he'd have to say that when that maniac killed the kids in Pennsylvania it was "Amish-related.

Like, seriously, gtfo."

Another:
"This whole thing makes a mockery of reasoning and is an insult to sexual assault victims.

"Related" is now repeatedly used as an excuse when previously it was used to condemn. Disgusting. The broadest definitions used to attach serious alleged crimes to a movement as if that group somehow isn't completely aware of, against, and actively preventing such activities. This is the foulest of narratives."

Another:

"The idea, pushed for months by these shameful websites, that the Occupy movement is somehow endorsing, advocating, oblivious to, or covering up alleged criminal activity has now been totally debunked. (Anyone could see it was complete bull from the start) Yet, instead of apologizing for this nonsense Lee Stranahan has taken all of an hour or so since Olbermann's piece to do some of his crack research to try to reinforce his shabby reporting (ie. narrative manufacturing).

Breitbart's bizarre and maniacal display at CPAC has at least served to draw attention to the lies he's been spreading about the Occupy movement.

Now he can go get some help."

Another:
"Wow, I was shocked to learn that all of the alleged sexual assaults were committed against Occupy protesters by outside individuals. We shouldn't be blaming the victims. Shame on Big Journalism. Shame on Dana Loesch. Shame on Andrew Breitbart. Shame on, whoever wrote this "debunking" article. Never heard of him before. Thank you Keith for setting the record straight.

You Breitbart people should feel really stupid right now. Keith destroyed you. Now, stop mass murdering people like you guys did in Seal Beach. One of your Tea Party psychos went on a killing spree and none of you have condemned that slaughter of human beings by a Teabagger. Shame on all of you for condoning mass murder!"

Another: Which is the most disturbing from the Breitbart asylum:
"For those still in doubt as to the nefarious nature of the Breitbart crew's despicable guilt by association attacks on the Occupy movement let me remind you of the time they attributed a murder to Occupy that actually occurred miles away and had nothing to do with it.
http://biggovernment.com/mikeflynn/2011/11/14/bre...
This disgrace was NOT retracted and is a perfect example of how the Breitbart people choose to "report" on incidents that might (if they manipulate them enough) fit their over-arching storyline. Just like the alleged sexual crimes used in Stranahan's list.
Gross."

Personally speaking, it's rare to see so many on this exclusive one sided/lop sided blog to have so many pointing out the obvious - that Breitbart and it's truthful fact finding bloggers (sarcastic) are providing CPR to the much needed faint heart beat of the teabagger society.

If you have posted in opposition at the "Bigs" site you get red warning flags like below, like its a bad thing. The red flags on Stranahan's post was larger than most, that is if not edited for content!

At our horseshoe meeting this am we where thinking, maybe, just maybe this blogger should stick to his "world renown photography training", for supporting Breitbart doesn't appear to be working so well for him!

Speaking of support, the numbers that despise and debunk Breitbart are a plethora, yet the only supporters in Andy's corner are Breitbart's "Big" gang, which at he end of the day, is both laughable and sad. But then again, liar, troglodyte, video manipulator, and teabagger are a cocktail that most sane American's will stay away from.

Ranting "rape", "freak" [whether on crack, the sauce, or sober] and other incendiary language for a "stunt" is disgusting! But this is the Breitbart we've come to know and love.

Breitbart's loathsome actions are sick enough, supporting his repugnant afterbirth is something straight out of Wikipedia's definition of Aleister Crowley!

How apropos, while visiting Breitbart's site I notice my anti-virus software "warning" me the "this site has potential dangerous and suspicious content"! I freaking love it, even McAfee knows slimy bullshit when they see it!

Breitbart Proves What We Knew All Along

Breitbart wins NFTOS' Coveted "Asshat" of the Year Award

This is an sequel to yesterdays blog. (see blog below this one)

"A Stunt"?! Andy Breitbart last night told The Young Turks, host Cenk Uygur that his rant was “a stunt to go over the mainstream media, to get people talking about the rapes.” (HUH)

Breitbart being.......Breitbart

In the second portiont of the interview, however, Uygur showed Breitbart several examples of the mainstream media covering the instances of rapes and sexual assaults at Occupy encampments. Breitbart tried to brush them off as “local media,” but Cenk gave examples from The Huffington Post, and one from ABC News that reported on the sexual assaults.

Breitbart explaining that this is all payback for what he calls the “smearing” of the Tea Party. This has been the recurrent theme of conservative coverage of the Occupy Movement, the reich-wing propagandists i.e. Big Journalism.

Bloggers like myself don't need to "smear" Breitbart and the likes, they do enough damage just by themselves. Might I suggest loosening the tin foil around your heads for starters!

Breitbart is playing games that I played as a kindergartner, which is exploiting those rapes to score points against a group (or groups) that he disagrees with. He doesn’t give a shit about the women who were raped! Breitbart’s rant wasn’t directed at Janeane Garofalo, or Keith Olbermann, or Bill Maher. It was directed at a crowd of Occupy protesters, which, statistically speaking, had to have included dozens of women who have survived sexual assaults.

Whether or not you believe that the assailants in these reports were from outside the movement (a point Breitbart didn’t dispute), the fact that he screamed “Stop raping people!” at a crowd that included victims of sexual assault is both vile and despicable, and belies any concern for these women. He called them “freaks” and “filthy animals.”

Just in case you missed the premeditated charade:

Sidebar: During Breitbart's 2012 CPAC rant, he revealed to the audience he had “videos” of Barack Obama from his college days. “I have videos, this election we’re going to vet him, “We are going to vet him from his college days to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008.”

More Andy:

“The videos are going to come out, the narrative is going to come out, that Barack Obama met a bunch of silver ponytails in the 1980s, like Bill (Ayers) and Bernadine (Dohrn), who said one day we would have the presidency, and the rest of us slept as they plotted, and they plotted, and they plotted and they oversaw hundreds of millions of dollars in the Annenberg Challenge and they had real money, from real capitalists. Then they became communists. We got to work on that. That is a parenthesis. Barack Obama is a radical, we should not be afraid to say that! Okay? And Barack Obama was launched from Bill and Bernadine’s salon. I’ve been there.”

Yes, more doctored videos from the most "prestigious film maker" of our time (Being extremely sarcastic). Thanks but no thanks dude, your reputation with videos doesn't say watch me with integrity.

Lets face it readers, Breitbart is many things, paranoid schizophrenic comes to mind, but more importantly he is a douche bag, the dirty rim around the inside of a toilet that hasn't been cleaned in three years, the maggot that thrives in your local landfill. I could careless whether this tool got his feelings hurt when the world called his party what they are -really, what ever happened to "sticks and stones"... I get threatened every day by Breitbart/Loesch followers, that's often the case when you blog for one side or the other.

Sidebar: I sometimes judge the impact I'm having on the world by the amount of hate mail or threats I get. It's a way of making something that could be disturbing into something positive.

Plus, they make for a great scrapbook. Or a lovely decoupage for the future grandkids.

I've always been surprised by people's need to contact others directly and threaten, demean, or attack them. It seems like a lot of effort for little return- but maybe I'm just lazy.

So imagine my surprise when I open my inbox daily to find myself deluged with over 30 nearly identical pieces of hate mail from different people around the country. Obviously I have pissed off some riech-wing follower of Breitbart, or better yet a website who sent the knuckle-dragging hordes after me.

Breitbart is proof that words can cut and destroy far better than an weapon created. I have said often that "freedom of speech" is a dangerous tool when in the hands of those with minimal IQ. Enter Breitbart.

Andy, its early in the year, but NFTOS' staff is quite certain know one will top your repeated stupidity these last few days, so even with 10 months still to go in 2012, we proudly award you the coveted NFTOS "Asshat" of the year award. Congratulations Einstein! This would be two in a row for the "Big Journalism" tribe as Dana "Dive" Loesch won last years award.
