Cult of Personality: The Radicalization of Trump, MAGA, JD Vance, and the Heritage Foundation

TRUMP, MAGA, CULT OF PERSONALITY
TRUMP, MAGA CULT OF PERSONALITY

The rise of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement has reshaped the political landscape of the United States, transforming the Republican Party into a hotbed of extreme radicalism. Trump’s presidency and the subsequent evolution of his brand have given birth to a cult of personality that thrives on divisive rhetoric, conspiracy theories, and authoritarian tendencies. This transformation has not only emboldened figures like JD Vance but has also been fueled by influential conservative organizations such as the Heritage Foundation. Together, they represent a shift towards an alarmingly radical ideology that threatens the very fabric of American democracy.

Trump’s ascent to political prominence marked the beginning of an era where facts became malleable, and truth was subordinate to personal loyalty. His presidency was characterized by an unprecedented disregard for democratic norms, from undermining the judiciary to casting doubt on the integrity of the electoral process. The 2020 election, in particular, showcased Trump’s willingness to engage in baseless claims of voter fraud, inciting an insurrection that culminated in the storming of the Capitol on January 6th, 2021. This event was a stark reminder of the dangerous consequences of a leader who prioritizes personal power over constitutional principles.

A, the movement that sprang from Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” has evolved into a radical faction within the Republican Party. It is marked by a fervent nationalism that often veers into xenophobia and racism. MAGA supporters have shown a disturbing tendency to embrace conspiracy theories, such as QAnon, which espouse fantastical and unfounded claims about a secret cabal of pedophiles running the world. This willingness to believe in and propagate extreme ideas has created an environment where violence and intimidation are seen as legitimate political tools.

JD Vance, a prominent figure within this radicalized landscape, exemplifies the transformation of once-moderate conservatives into staunch Trump loyalists. Vance, who initially criticized Trump, has since embraced his ideology, pandering to the MAGA base in his political rhetoric. His pivot illustrates the broader trend of Republican politicians who, fearing backlash from Trump’s fervent supporters, have abandoned their principles in favor of political expediency. Vance’s rhetoric often echoes Trump’s divisive themes, further normalizing extreme views within mainstream politics.

The Heritage Foundation, long regarded as a cornerstone of conservative thought, has also played a significant role in the radicalization of the Republican Party. While historically focused on promoting free-market principles and limited government, the organization has increasingly aligned itself with Trumpian populism. It has supported policies that undermine democratic institutions and catered to the whims of the MAGA movement. The Heritage Foundation’s shift towards radicalism is emblematic of how even established conservative institutions have succumbed to the allure of Trump’s cult of personality.

In examining the trajectory of Trump, MAGA, JD Vance, and the Heritage Foundation, it becomes evident that the Republican Party has undergone a profound transformation. What was once a party of conservatism and limited government has morphed into a radical entity driven by authoritarian impulses and an unwavering loyalty to a single individual. This cult of personality not only undermines democratic norms but also poses a grave threat to the stability of the United States. As Trump and his acolytes continue to wield significant influence, the challenge for American democracy is to resist the pull of radicalism and reaffirm its commitment to the principles that have long defined the nation.

Trump's cult of personality has fundamentally altered the Republican Party, shifting it towards an increasingly radical and authoritarian stance. His presidency demonstrated a blatant disregard for democratic norms and institutions, culminating in the insurrection on January 6th, 2021. The fervent support for Trump and his ideologies has persisted, fostering an environment where loyalty to the leader outweighs loyalty to democratic principles. Figures like JD Vance have capitalized on this shift, aligning themselves with Trump's base to gain political traction, even if it means compromising on their previously held values.

The Heritage Foundation, once a bastion of traditional conservative values, has also evolved in this new political climate. Its embrace of Trumpian policies and rhetoric signifies a departure from its original mission, highlighting the extent to which Trump's influence has permeated conservative institutions. The Foundation's support for policies that undermine democratic norms and promote radical agendas demonstrates the depth of this ideological shift.

Project 2025, a detailed and expansive plan developed by conservative operatives, exemplifies the extent of the radical transformation within the Republican Party. This 900-page document outlines a strategy to reshape the federal government drastically, aiming to consolidate power and implement far-right policies across various sectors. The project's ambitions reflect a vision for America that aligns closely with Trump's authoritarian tendencies, emphasizing control and dismantling of established democratic structures.

If Trump were to win another term, supported by figures like JD Vance and bolstered by the Heritage Foundation's influence, the implementation of Project 2025 could have profound and alarming consequences for the United States. The erosion of democratic norms, the entrenchment of authoritarian policies, and the perpetuation of misinformation would likely define this new era. The political landscape would be marked by increased polarization, the marginalization of dissenting voices, and a government increasingly detached from the principles of democracy and transparency.

most smart humans would conclude that the intertwining of misinformation, radical political agendas, and authoritarian aspirations paints a troubling picture for the future of American democracy. The rise of Trump, the radicalization of the Republican Party, and the ambitious goals of Project 2025 collectively represent a significant threat to democratic institutions and norms. It is imperative for the public to remain vigilant and critically engaged to safeguard the democratic values that underpin the United States.

Stay Salty Liberals!!!

THERE'S NO PLACE FOR HIM....

...said the Alabama millionaire who paid for planes to circle the Rose Bowl and trash GOP front runner Fuckface Von Clownstick [Donald Trump] on New Year’s Day said he would probably vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton if he had to choose between the two, CBS News is reporting.

Stan Pate, the real estate developer who paid for the planes to fill the air with anti-Trump messages, called his fellow property developer “despicable,” and said there is no place for him in American politics.

“He needs to go back to one of his tall towers and build buildings and whatever else he does. He’s a despicable man,” Pate explained.
“Quite frankly, if it was Donald Trump versus Hillary Clinton, I would vote for Secretary Clinton,” he said. “I will accept anybody but Trump.”
Pate admits that he has met privately with Trump rival Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, but said of the skywriting protest against Trump: “This is all me.”
“This is not a Marco Rubio effort, I have not talked to anybody in that campaign since the day I sat down with Sen. Rubio in Birmingham Alabama,” he said. “Just because you built a tall building with your name on it doesn’t mean respect … his private business, he’s been a dictator, we’re not looking for a dictator. This is a guy when he looks in the mirror, he sees the greatest man that’s ever walked the earth, and he’s wrong.”
“I’m tired of listening to Trump, I’m tired of it – just look at what he did to Megyn (Kelly) that’s just despicable,” he said. “Listen to how he’s attacking Hillary Clinton – despicable.”

Pate — who has a long history of donating to the Republican party — also used the skywriting to advertise the fledgling anybody but trump website.

This is not over,” Pate told CBS. “This is just beginning.”

BULLETS, BOMBS, CHEATER, AGENDA 21, OH MY!

KATRINA PIERSON LUNATIC FRINGE POSER

It all makes sense now

Extreme Nutter Katrina Pierson, Clownstick's mouth piece - facts are emerging that Pierson is a unemployment cheat and agenda 21 conspiracy theorist.

While much of the recent attention surrounding Katrina Pierson has focused on her bullet necklace, the national spokesperson for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign has also come under scrutiny for both improperly claiming unemployment benefits and pushing the “Agenda 21” conspiracy theory.

According to the National Journal, Pierson received $11,440 in benefits between 2012 and 2013, when she did volunteer work for Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) run for office. However, state rules say that anyone receiving unemployment should be actively looking for a paid position while doing so.

The Texas Observer reported last year that in 2011, Pierson led classes for Waco Tea Party members warning them about “Agenda 21,” a popular conservative conspiracy theory claiming that a nonbinding plan approved by United Nations officials in 1992 was really a vehicle for the organization to seize control of the US.

Pierson told the Observer that she led similar discussions in Arizona, Washington D.C., Kansas and several other states and considered it her full-time job, arguing that “[when] you realize that you’ve been lied to your whole life, it’s an eye-opening experience.”

The Journal also noted that Pierson turned against Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) for supporting Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) bid for the GOP nomination, just two months after publicly praising him to fellow Tea Party supporters.

Pierson complained on Twitter that Gowdy “lost all credibility when he nominated John Boehner for Speaker so he’s perfect for Marco Rubio.” But on Oct. 26, an email in Pierson’s name went out seeking help “drafting” Gowdy to become House Speaker, despite the fact that Gowdy stated he was not interested in the position.

“These outside groups use members’ names, not just his, without their knowledge and mislead people to think they support or are connected to a group when they are not,” a spokesperson for Gowdy said after reading the email.

Pierson joined Trump’s campaign two weeks after that email was sent.

ANA NAVARRO SPEAKS TRUTH

Saying a Donald trump presidential nomination will bring out “the unusual suspects” at the GOP convention in Ohio this summer, a Republican strategist said down-ticket candidates running for Congress will skip the convention altogether to avoid being linked to the controversial frontrunner.

Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, Ana Navarro — who doubles as a CNN analyst — told host Jake Tapper that a Trump nomination is “going to put a lot of us in a funky mood.”
“I think you’re going to have a bunch of unusual suspects at the convention if it ends up being Donald Trump,” she explained. “You know I’ve said that a Donald Trump nomination would be very bad for some of the senators, some of folks running statewide in some of the purple and blue states. People like nutter Kelly Ayotte and nutter Rob Portman. I’m not sure how much of the traditional Republican mainstream usual suspects who go to a convention you would see if that’s the case.”
Pressed by Tapper to predict whether candidates would avoid the convention, Navarro reiterated her point, adding Ted Cruz’s name for good measure.

“I think you’re going to see some of the folks running in blue and purple states running away from our nominee if it is Donald Trump, maybe even Ted Cruz,” Navarro asserted.

Let’s hope Navarro is correct and that Trump wins the nomination. Win-Win for everyone!

FUCKFACE VON CLOWNSTICK CALLING HILLARY DISGUSTING IS A POT AND KETTLE MOMENT

FUCKFACE VON CLOWNSTICK

Republican Nutter, Fuckface Von Clownstick [aka Donald Trump] used a campaign stop in Michigan on Monday to make astonishingly sexist attacks against Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.

At one point, Clownstick told the Grand Rapids crowd that Clinton got “schlonged” by President Obama during their 2008 Democratic primary race.
“Even her race to Obama. She was going to beat Obama. I don’t know who’d be worse. I don’t know. How does it get worse? She was favored to win and she got schlonged. She lost. She lost,” Clownstick said.

“Schlong” is a well-known reference to a man’s genitals. There are no alternative definitions for the word, according to Merriam-Webster.

Clownstick also used his speech to attack Clinton for using the bathroom.

Discussing her brief disappearance during Saturday’s Democratic debate while she was using the lavatory, Clownstick told the crowd, “Where did Hillary go? They had to start the debate without her. Phase two. Why? I know where she went. It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it. It’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’s disgusting. We want to be very, very straight up.”

NUTTERS AT A CLOWNSTICK RALLY PROVE THEY HAVE LESS IQ THAN TROGLODYTES

Fuckface Von Clownstick’s campaign took an even uglier turn this week as one of Clownstick’s supporter was heard yelling “Sieg heil!” as a protester was dragged from the room by campaign security.

According to MSNBC, several supporters of Fuckface were screaming at protesters who were being manhandled and ejected from the rally held at the Westgate Hotel and Resort.

While it had previously been reported that one black protester was assaulted by security as a Clownstick supporter shouted, “Light that motherfucker on fire!” a reporter from MSNBC said a large middle-aged man shouted, “Sieg heil!” — a Nazi-era salute — while one protester was hauled away.

In video from NBC (see below), the shout can clearly be heard.

Another man — described as wearing a “glittering black suit” — was heard yelling, “He’s a Muslim! He’s a Muslim!” as a protester was escorted from the ballroom.

As the protesters were being hauled away, Fuckface Von Clownstick continued speaking to the crowd, complaining that the only time the media films the large crowds at his rally is when they are being interrupted by protesters.

“Light the mother fucker on fire”

Always a good time to be had at a Clownstick rally, kind of like the conservative going to a family reunion to meet their next bride.

FROTHY WING-NUT SUSAN DELEMUS GOES FULL LUNATIC FRINGE ON CNN

FROTHY WING-NUT SUSAN DELEMUS

Frothy conservative wing-nut Susan DeLemus believes everyone is lying to her except Fuckface Von Clownstick [Donald Trump], and that’s why she’s supporting the Republican presidential candidate.

VIDEO COURTESY OF CNN

In an interview with CNN, DeLemus emphatically said she’s never been into politics until now, because she believes everyone is “lying to me, straight to my face!”

UPDATE: Trump-loving Republican lawmaker caught lying in unhinged rant about Obama’s lies
“We’ve got people in positions of power who I know for a fact are liars. Liars!” she said. “I watch the TV — My president comes on the TV and he lies to me! I know he’s lying. He lies all the time.”
She said she doesn’t believe “any one of them” except Mr. Clownstick.
“I’m telling you, he says what I’m thinking!” she went on. “Never been involved in politics, never had an interest in any of it. Now suddenly, he is resonating. He is resonating with the people and he’s speaking our minds. Our minds!”
Please keep guns away from Susan, who is more frightening the ISIS! Maybe a straight jacket is in order for Susan?

Susan DeLumas, congratulations numb-nuts, you are this week’s wacko-bird of the week.

CLOWNSTICK IS”WHITE ISIS”

Trevor Noah came away from a discussion with correspondent Hasan Minhaj on Tuesday – and was somewhat unsettled regarding Fuck face Von Clownstick [Donald Trump’s] possible motivations for pushing a ban on Muslim immigration into the US.
“I think this is where the evidence points: Donald Trump is an extremist leader who came out of nowhere,” Minhaj explained. “He’s self-financed, recruits through social media, attracts his followers with a radical ideology to take over the world, and is actively trying to promote a war between Islam and the West.”
Oh my God,” Noah replied. “He’s white ISIS.”

When the host asked him how to combat the threat of “WHISIS,” Minhaj was more candid.

VIDEO COURTESY OF COMEDY CENTRAL

“Where are all the moderate white conservatives?” said the correspondent. “I mean, come on. They’ve got a responsibility to step up and speak out against WHISIS, because I’m sick of this.”
At the same time, though, Minhaj agreed with the real estate mogul that Muslims should stay out of the US — but only because they are in danger.
“One third of a major political party in America is backing a racist maniac,” he said. “This place is scary right now.”
For his part, Noah slammed the proposal, calling it “flatly discriminatory.”
“Like a Pokemon, Donald Trump has evolved into a more gruesome form of himself,” Noah argued.

Mr. Clownstick Proposes Complete Shutdown To Muslim’s Entering The Country

Fuck Face Von Clownstick [aka Donald Trump], has gone beyond opposing the entry of Syrian refugees to wanting to stop all Muslims from emigrating into the US, NBC News reported.

Clownstick’s campaign said in a statement that he is calling for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

The campaign used a study by the conservative Center for Security Policy to argue that “there is great hatred towards Americans by large segments of the Muslim population.” The group, which is led by former Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense Frank Gaffney, and has claimed that there is a “global jihad movement” underway with the goal of installing “sharia law” around the world.

According to the statement, Gaffney’s organization released a study stating that 25 percent of respondents felt that “violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad.”
“Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine,” Trump stated. “Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life.”
The statement does not mention that Gaffney hosted Clownstick and several other GOP candidates earlier this year for a “Tea Party Patriots” rally opposing the proposed nuclear weapons agreement between the US and Iran.

Clownstick stated earlier this year that he would deport any Syrian refugees if elected president. Last month he drew criticism for refusing to dismiss the idea of special “databases” for American Muslims.

A spokesperson for Clownstick’s campaign, Hope Hicks, heavily suggested to The Hill that his proposed immigration ban would also apply to American Muslims currently living outside the US.

“Mr. Trump says, ‘everyone,'” Hicks said via email.

Meanwhile, Sen. Bernie Sanders immediately criticized Clownstick’s idea in a statement released on Tuesday evening.
“Demagogues throughout our history have attempted to divide us based on race, gender, sexual orientation or country of origin. Now, Clownstick and others want us to hate all Muslims,” the Democratic presidential candidate said. “The United States is a great nation when we stand together. We are a weak nation when we allow racism and xenophobia to divide us.”

GUESS WHERE TRUMP WAS ONE HOUR PRIOR TO CALIFORNIA MASS SHOOTING?

Even in right-wing looney land, radio hosts Alex Jones is a ‘special” kind of “patriot” who stands out. Where Rush Limbaugh offers a torrent of conservative views that largely align with Republican policy preferences, Jones labels 9/11 an “inside job.” Where Mark Levin touts radical constitutional theories that, nonetheless, have grown popular in Republican circles, Jones ties same-sex marriage on “the eugenicist/globalist view.” Jones is the king of fringe conspiracy theories. Among other things, he may be the nation’s most prominent proponent of the view that the Sandy Hook shooting that killed 26 people an elementary school was a “synthetic, completely fake — with actors, in my view — manufactured” hoax.

And one hour before another terrible mass shooting occurred in San Bernardino, California on Wednesday, Jones hosted a very special guest on his radio show — Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.

The conversation between Trump and Jones was, in one reporter’s words, a “love fest.” Jones described the wealthy heir as a “self-made” man and a “true maverick.” Trump, in return, praised Jones.
“Your reputation is amazing,” the billionaire-turned-politician told the conspiracy theorist, adding that “I won’t let you down.”

FUCKFACE VON CLOWNSTICK TURNS TO CONSPIRACY GROUP FOR HIS BS

For the past several days, Fuckface Von Clownstick [AKA Donald Trump] has claimed that “thousands and thousands” of Muslims in New Jersey were celebrating the fall of the Twin Towers on 9/11.

The claim has been thoroughly debunked by multiple fact checkers. The New Jersey Attorney General investigated rumors of such celebrations immediately after the attack and found them to be “bogus.” Simply put, it did not happen.

Nevertheless, Trump is sticking to his story. On Wednesday night, Trump tweeted this to support his point:

Trump links to Infowars.com, a conspiracy website that pushes the idea that 9/11 was an inside job.

According to Infowars, the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary was a hoax, FEMA is setting up concentration camps and Andrew Breitbart was assassinated to prevent the release of damaging information about Barack Obama.

Even Infowars’ article doesn't support Trump’s claim that thousands of Muslims were celebrating on 9/11. It’s simply a woman who claims she saw a “pocket” of Muslims celebrating. Similar claims were investigated and found not to be credible.

Trump’s tweet came on a day when he also publicly mocked a reporter’s physical disability.

His antics, however, do not seem to be hurting his standings in the polls. Trump currently leads the Republican primary by 8 points and holds leads in the key early states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

“All Lives Matter’ Means ‘Shut Up, Ni*ger”

The activist who was seen being attacked by a mob of Donald Trump supporters late last week said he was made to feel unwelcome even before the assault in an interview published by Think Progress on Monday.

“It was just a sea of white faces,” Mercutio Southall Jr. said. “A lady kicked me in the stomach. A man kicked me in the chest.

They called me ni**er, monkey, and they shouted ‘All lives matter’ while they were kicking and punching me. So for all the people who are still confused at this point, they proved what ‘all lives matter’ meant. It means, ‘Shut up, ni**er.'”

The assault on Southall was captured by a CNN reporter during a Trump rally in Birmingham, Alabama. The candidate can be heard saying, “Get him the hell out of here.”

A day later, Trump said it was “absolutely disgusting” for Southall to chant “Black lives matter” and argued that “Maybe he should have been roughed up.”

According to Southall, he and two friends started chanting the movement’s name after an unidentified white attendee swatted one friend’s phone out of his hand after he said, “We want to show [Trump] he’s not welcome here” during an online live-stream from the event.

However, Southall said, Trump supporters avoided them leading up to the incident.
“There was like a six feet space on either side of us,” he said. “The message was: this was not our town. This was not our place.”
Southall said he has not decided whether to sue the people who beat him. Local police, who have described him as an “agitator,” have stated that they would not charge neither the attackers nor Southall and his friends. Authorities have said that Southall did not respond when they asked him whether he would file a complaint.

Southall expressed skepticism that the police would take him seriously if he did.
“I was being choked right in front of a Birmingham Police officer and all he did was try to stop me from hitting the man who was choking me,” he said. “But I’m supposed to trust y’all now?”

WATERBOARDING FOR REFUGEES?

Fuckface Von Clownstick aka Donald Trump said over the weekend that he would reauthorize the use of enhanced interrogation techniques in order to protect Americans from terrorism.
“When the Syrian refugees are going to start pouring into this country, we don’t’ know if they’re ISIS, we don’t know if they’re a Trojan Horse,” Trump told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on Sunday. “I want to see a database and other checks and balances. We want to go with watch lists, we want to go with databases, and we have no choice.”

“It could be the great Trojan Horse of all time,” he continued. “When I look at the [immigration] line, I see all strong powerful men. And I see very few women, and I see very few children. There’s something strange going on. And if you look at what’s happening in Europe, a lot of bad things are happening in Europe.”
After pointing out that a majority of the Syrian refugees were, in fact, women and children, Stephanopoulos wondered if Trump would bring back waterboarding, which was banned by President Barack Obama.
“We have to be strong,” the candidate insisted. “You know, they don’t use waterboarding over there, they use chopping off people’s heads, they use drowning people.”
“I would bring it back, I think waterboarding is peanuts compared to what they do to us,” he opined. “I would absolutely bring back interrogation and strong interrogation.”

TRUMP AND MUSLIM DATABASES....TROUBLING TIMES

DID TRUMP JUST SUGGEST THAT MUSLIM DATABASES ARE NEEDED?

Last night Rachel Maddow throttled Donald Trump and his campaign on Friday for refusing to debunk his apparent support for special “databases” and identification for US Muslims.
“Donald Trump is deep now into blaming the media for this whole scandal. Blaming the media for us reporting that he’s campaigning on the idea of watchlists and databases to register American Muslims,” she said. “And I know it’s fashionable and politically smart to blame the media, but this is important. And somebody’s gotta report this out. Somebody’s gotta do something other than standing there, agog, disbelieving that this is really the top tier of the Republican contest to try to be the next president of the United States of America.”
The real estate mogul said on Twitter that Yahoo News’ Hunter Walker introduced the notion of a Muslim database during their interview on Friday, while also endorsing the idea of a “watch list.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF MSNBC

But Maddow noted that Trump has never said that he would refuse to implement such a policy if elected. As NBC reported last night, he said exactly the opposite and called it “good management.”

That lack of a definitive stand has opened Trump up to criticism from not only Democrats, but fellow Republican candidates, as well as both Muslim and Jewish groups.

On Friday, the Republican front-runner called into Fox News and complained that he was actually trying to respond to another reporter, while calling for a database for Syrian refugees. Maddow also pointed out that Trump made reference to an unidentified “thing we should start thinking about.”
“What exactly is the thing we should start thinking about?” she asked. “Could you please be clear about that? In the immortal words of Justin Bieber, ‘What do you mean?'”

TRUMP DISPAYS HIS IGNORANCE YET AGAIN

Donald Trump has joined the chorus of presidential candidates reacting to anti-racism protests at the University of Missouri (Mizzou), which culminated this week with the resignation of both the university’s president and chancellor.

Asked by Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo about the protests — spurred by a number of racist incidents on campus including a swastika drawn on a bathroom wall in feces — Trump said they were “disgusting.”
“I think it’s disgusting. I think it’s disgusting,” he said. “I think the two people that resigned are weak, ineffective people. … Trump should have been the chancellor of that University. Believe me. There would have been no resignation.”

The Mizzou protests are being led by a campus group called Concerned Student 1950, named after the first year that black students were admitted to the college. The group asserts that the university hasn’t done enough to handle racist incidents and discrimination on campus. To protest, graduate student Jonathan Butler began a hunger strike, and the black members of the school’s football team refused to play or practice until Butler ate.

The resignation of the president and chancellor was one of the group’s demands. But there are more — the demands also include increasing black representation among university staff, increasing funding for social justice and mental health centers, and improving retention for minority students, who are more likely to drop out.

On Thursday, Trump called those demands “crazy.”
“Their demands are like, crazy,” he said. “The things that they’re asking for, many of the things that they’re asking for, many of those things are like, crazy.”
Trump is not the first presidential candidate to react negatively to the anti-racism protests. On Wednesday, neurosurgeon Ben Carson called the protests “infantile.” On Thursday, Gov. Chris Christie reacted by blaming President Obama and the Black Lives Matter movement for “stripping people of hope.”

CAPTAIN CARNIVAL BARKER AND CRAZY MCSLEEPY PANTS

Bill Maher closed his show out on Friday by ridiculing a Republican electorate demanding that their next presidential candidate have as little political experience as possible.

“Experience? Knowing things? Republicans avoid that stuff like a gay son,” Maher said.

If Ben Carson is so proud of his own lack of experience, he argued, he should let someone with no medical training operate on his brain.

“Given some of the shit that comes out of his month, I think someone already has,” he added.

Maher went so far as to say that seeing Carson and Donald Trump — or “Crazy McSleepy Pants” and “Captain Carnival Barker,” respectively — topping Republican voter polls caused him to shift his stance on wanting a shorter election season.

Unlike French or British voters, Maher said, Americans are “far too dim and distracted” to vote responsibly without having a longer election season to help them winnow out the candidates.
“If our election season was just two months long, Trump would have won already in a landslide,” Maher said. “But time is our greatest ally against idiot candidates. Already you’re seeing people tiring of Trump because he has three pieces of schtick: ‘I’m great,’ ‘Mexico’s laughing at us,’ ‘constipated toddler face.'”

FUCKFACE VON CLOWNSTICK SUFFERS AS A YOUNG MAN BY BEING "LOANED" ONE COOL MILLION BY DAD AND EXPECTS US TO FEEL SORRY FOR HIM

White billionaires born into massive privilege aren’t usually known for their rags-to-riches tales, but Trump is trying to sell one to the American public. Or, at least, to Matt Lauer.

In a recent interview, the Donald told NBC, “My whole life really has been a ‘no’ and I fought through it. It has not been easy for me, it has not been easy for me. And you know I started off in Brooklyn, my father gave me a small loan of a million dollars.”

This bit of deluded runaway privilege was too good for Stephen Colbert to pass up, so he took time out Wednesday night to mock the GOP ex-frontrunner.

“Clearly, this is an inspiring tale of a young man made good,” Colbert said. “The classic story of riches to richer. Donald was just a humble boy from the boroughs and wanted nothing more than to escape his provincial life and make his way in the big city… Donald dared to venture into a land he didn’t own.”

Donald Trump has long tried to sell a tale of scrappy, self-made man, but it has been exposed over and over again as largely bogus.

Reality is, that 99 percent of this country eke by without a penny from mom or dad, let alone a million dollars.

CONSERVATIVE "SUPPLY SIDE JESUS"

CONSERVATIVE "SUPPLY SIDE JESUS"

Bill Maher slams and shames GOP Catholics and schools them on what Jesus really said.

Just as there are two Americas, Bill Maher argued Real Time last night that there are now two versions of Jesus on the political landscape.

While liberals were still worshiping the traditional version of Jesus, he said, Republicans had created “supply-side Jesus,” who he described as “a small businessman from Galilei whose main gripe is big government who wants to make Nazareth great again.”
“He’d love to help the less fortunate — but he’s got investors to think about,” Maher explained.

In that regard, he said, Republicans are more likely to worship someone like “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli, who infamously tried to raise the price of Daraprim, a drug used by both AIDS and cancer patients, to $750 a pill before finally reversing course amid massive public criticism.

But tactics like Shkreli’s, the host argued, are commonplace in the pharmaceutical industry, where cancer medication cost $10,000 a month.
“This cartel owns the US government every bit as much as Mexican drug lords own theirs,” Maher observed.
With that in mind, Maher said, Donald Trump is the perfect candidate for today’s Republican Party.
He says — he does — that his two favorite books are the Bible and The Art Of The Deal,” Maher pointed out. “Trump says one is about a perfect God who teaches humanity the right way to live. And the other is the Bible.

IF ONLY THE REST OF US LOVED TRUMP LIKE TRUMP LOVES TRUMP

Extreme GOP Right Wing nut and presidential candidate Donald Trump responded to a question about whether he was homophobic on Wednesday by talking about conservative groups.
“I think that I’m a very nice person,” Trump told CNN host Don Lemon. “I love people, and I have to tell you, when you look at those polls, it’s across the board. You know who loves me? The Tea Party. The evangelicals. I’m leading with evangelicals — I love them, they love me. I’m Presbyterian, I’m Protestant, and they like me. You know why? Because they think I’m gonna do a great job for the country.”
“Some people may perceive you as racist,” Lemon later asked. “Answer me that.”
“I just did a speech for the African-American Chamber of Commerce of South Carolina,” Trump responded. “They just wrote me the most beautiful letter I’ve gotten in a long time saying how unfairly I got treated by the press.”
Trump said he spoke at the event as a favor to “a couple of friends who just happen to be African-American,” but then complained that Lemon’s network made him “look bad” by showing empty seats at the event.
“I was surrounded by a tremendous amount of people,” the candidate said, adding that “the press is very, very unfair.”
He also insisted he did nothing wrong by not questioning the unidentified Islamophobic supporter who accused President Barack Obama of being a Muslim earlier this month while complaining about “a problem in our country called Muslims.”

“I don’t feel I have to defend President Obama,” Trump said.
“But some would say you’re not defending the president — you’re defending the truth,” Lemon countered.
“You’re not saying I defended. I didn’t respond,” Trump said. “It’s the first time in my life I’ve caused controversy by not responding.”

TRUMP ATTACKS PHARMA BRO

COLUMBIA, SC — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has no idea what he would do to combat rising drug prices, but he does know how to launch a vicious personal attack.

In a press conference in Columbia, South Carolina on Wednesday, Trump sharply criticized the former hedge fund manager who has become known as the “Pharma bro,” saying the man is a “disgrace” and a “spoiled brat.”
“This young guy raised the price to a level that’s absolutely ridiculous and he looks like a spoiled brat doing it,” said Trump. “You want to know the truth? He looks like a spoiled brat. And he’s a hedge fund guy — as you know, the only one who I’m raising taxes for. They’re going to be paying up. But I thought it was a disgusting thing what he did.”
The CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, Martin Shkreli, has attracted attention since he hiked by 5,000 percent the price of Daraprim, a drug used to treat severe infections in AIDS patients and infants. He has since backed down as a result of the outrage, saying there were “mistakes made” and that he would lower the cost.

While an extreme example, the Pharma bro’s action highlights the bigger issue of rising pharmaceutical drug prices in the United States — an issue other presidential candidates have recently addressed. Trump, however, was unable to propose a solution.
“It’s terrible,” he said when what he would do to combat rising drug prices. “But particularly there’s something about that one — the way he raised it and to that extent. And then he sat back smug, like he was hot stuff. That guy is nothing. He is zero. He is nothing.”
When pressed on what he would do to address the issue, he again avoided the question. “Probably at some point the public is going to get him to reduce it somewhat,” he said. “But I think what he did was a disgrace. I’m sure you feel the same way.”

The Darapim price hike is not uncommon — Judith Aberg, a spokesperson for the HIV Medicine Association, told USA Today that every week she learns about another drug that has increased in price because of a change in marketing or the distributor. Recent studies have found that more Americans are cutting back in other areas because they’re having a hard time paying for their prescriptions.

Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have both recently released plans to take on the rapidly increasing prices of pharmaceutical drugs. Clinton tweeted about the pharma bro on Monday and then announced on Tuesday her plan to cap out-of-pocket drug costs and decrease the monopoly marketing period for biologics, among other measures. Sanders linked to the recent news about Daraprim on his campaign website alongside a link to his plan to lower drug costs. And earlier this month, Sanders introduced a bill that would allow patients to import cheaper drugs from Canada.

Trump has been criticized for his inability to answer questions on actual issues. He has released a small number of policy papers including a recent one on guns which is indistinguishable from the National Rifle Association’s agenda. In a town hall with Sen. Tim Scott Wednesday night, he promised the audience that he’ll soon be releasing a tax plan that is “very long on policy.”

He also is not known for his fair business practices — he has run a scam university without a license and, despite his disdain for undocumented immigrants, hired many of them to build his newest hotel. He has also made millions of dollars by extolling a marketing company that has faced regulatory investigations in three countries for running a pyramid scheme and for deceptive trade practices.
