EX VIRGINIA VAGINA PROBING GOVERNOR BOB TRANSVAGINAL MCDONNELL VIEWING 10 YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON

Washington Post:

The federal agency that will play a pivotal role in guiding the sentence of former Virginia governor Robert F. McDonnell has recommended that the onetime Republican rising star spend at least 10 years and a month in prison, according to several people familiar with the matter.
The guidelines recommended by the U.S. probation office are preliminary, and even if finalized, U.S. District Judge James R. Spencer is not required to follow them. But experts said that Spencer typically heeds the probation office’s advice, and judges in his district have imposed sentences within the recommendations more than 70 percent of the time in recent years.
“It’s of critical importance,” said Scott Fredericksen, a white-collar criminal defense lawyer. “The fact is, the vast majority of times, courts follow those recommendations closely.”

The hubris of this numbnutz is overwhelming. He was offered a plea deal for one charge for him and none for his wife, now they'll both pay dearly.

KOCH WHORE SIGNS RADICAL ABORTION RESTRICTIONS

SCOTT "KOCH WHORE" WALKER

Is this the small government that the Talibangelicals are always prattling on about?

Wisconsin Gov. Scott "Koch Whore" Walker (Talibangelical) quietly signed new abortion restrictions into law on the Friday after the Fourth of July that will require “women seeking abortions to undergo an ultrasound and ban doctors who lack admitting privileges at nearby hospitals from performing the procedures.” The law could force two state abortion clinics to close their doors and is already sparking legal challenges from reproductive health advocates:
The law takes effect Monday. Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin and the American Civil Liberties Union filed a federal lawsuit within hours of the signing alleging the bill is unconstitutional and asking for a temporary restraining order blocking the measure.
“What the Legislature has done is to set up a system where the ability to provide abortions is contingent on the decision of a private institution and that’s unconstitutional,” Planned Parenthood’s attorney, Lester Pines, said in an interview.

A spokeswoman for the state Department of Justice, which defends state laws, said agency attorneys would review the lawsuit and respond in court.

Leading medical groups also opposed the measures. The Wisconsin Medical Society, the Wisconsin Association of Local Health Departments and Boards, the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians, the Wisconsin Hospital Association, and the Wisconsin Public Health Association all declined to endorse the proposals when Republicans fast-tracked the bills through the legislature in June.

The restrictions are part of a wave of legislative activity in the states that aims to severely limit women’s access to reproductive health services. According to data from the Guttmacher Institute, governors have approved more than 40 such proposals in 2013.

The Associated Press notes that Walker, who may be considering a presidential bid in 2016, “didn't sign the bill in public, instead sending out a statement early Friday afternoon saying the bill was now law.” The governor followed a similar strategy in 2012, when he enacted controversial bills to significantly limit access to abortion services and sex education on the eve of a holiday weekend and announced the laws in a press statement two days later.

Scott Walker is "the goggle-eyed homunculus hired by Koch Industries to manage their Midwest subsidiary formerly known as the state of Wisconsin." Charles Pierce.

This speaks volumes of the cheese head governor, to sign a bill behind closed doors. There is no doubt in my mind that this Koch whore is a coward. Any man who willingly tucks his testicles under his posterior cheeks for the pleasure of pleasing the Koch Whores themselves [koch brothers] - he certainly is no man!

SPEAK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE

Many things that the American Taliban does bothers me, but nothing is more disturbing to me in circa 2013, than old pasty white cavemen, deciding what women can and can't do with their bodies.

Watch the below two clips, if this disgusting pattern of the GOP does not disturb you, does not set a fire in your belly, does not get your "fanny perprindicular" for the cause of women's rights, then you are as callous and outdated as the American Taliban er!

THE VIRGINIA EXPERIMENT -TRANSVAGINAL PROBE BUSTERS

TRANSVAGINAL PROBE BUSTERS - VIRGINIA'S DEMOCRATIC TICKET

Virginia, your political stage has been set.

The GOP ticket is said to be the most radical ticket to ever be assembled for elected office, hand picked by themselves, not voted in by the states constituents. Speaks volumes of the party!

Rachael Maddow last night reviewed the political storm brewing in Virginia - the battle over whether to transvaginal ultrasound women or not? While there are a plethora issues that differentiate the two parties, probing women against their will is a top project.

THEY CALL ME TRANSVAGINAL BOB

Transvaginal Bob McDonnell Does It Again

Transvaginal Bob McDonnell tried to pull a slick one. This foot soldier for the American Taliban thought he could slip this one by. Maybe a better name for McDonnell would be "slick Willie", "tricky DICK", no that one is taken, lets just stick with Transvaginal Bob!

In yet another power grab to push the American Taliban's ideology down our throats, Transvaginal Bob and his choke and puke govna-ship has certified regulations that will make woman's choice a little bit harder to conduct.

MADDOW SLAMMING TRANSVAGINAL BOB

From various sources - Gov. Bob McDonnell has certified health regulations that impose strict hospital construction standards on Virginia abortion clinics -- triggering the next step in a multitiered approval process that could make the revised rules permanent by this summer.

Unlike the public relations ballyhoo that accompanies many executive actions, McDonnell, an anti-abortion Republican, certified the regulations and had them posted to the Virginia Town Hall website without a public announcement on the Friday between the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

The signoff comes more than three months after the rules were adopted in September by the state Board of Health at a contentious meeting during which abortion-rights advocates claimed board members were being intimidated into changing their decision in June to grandfather existing clinics from the building requirements.

Members of abortion-rights advocacy groups reacted strongly to the governor's approval in statements released Monday.
"After two years of shocking backroom deals and bullying public health servants, Gov. Bob McDonnell is clearly proving his disregard of Virginians' opinions about women's health care," said Tarina Keene, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia.

Keene accused McDonnell and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, also an anti-abortion Republican, of using their offices to push "an ideological agenda that is out of touch with the residents of this state" -- and pushing the commonwealth toward having some of the most "extreme state abortion laws" in the country.

McDonnell spokesman J. Tucker Martin said the regulations are a product of legislation that passed the General Assembly in 2011 and went through an extensive public comment process and detailed agency review that followed the same process that all proposed changes to regulations undergo in Virginia.
"The governor believes these common-sense regulations will help ensure that this medical procedure takes place in facilities that are modern, safe and well-regulated, in order to help ensure the safety and well-being of all patients," Martin said.

McDonnell's approval initiates a 60-day public comment period. Following the comment period, the regulations are sent back through the process of review by the Board of Health -- which could vote on them as early as March -- before heading to the attorney general and executive branch agencies. The permanent regulations are expected to be adopted by the summer.

Under the two-year compliance period stipulated by the Department of Health, Virginia's 20 existing abortion clinics will have until the latter half of 2014 to comply with the new regulations, which will require most of the facilities to undergo costly infrastructure changes to hallways, doorways and parking areas. Advocates say a number of the clinics could be forced to close.

The health commissioner has the authority to grant a variance to the clinics if the commissioner believes the requirements place an undue burden on a facility and determines that noncompliance in a specific area would not jeopardize patient safety and public health.

McDonnell has yet to name a replacement for Health Commissioner Karen Remley, who resigned in October. She said the development, enforcement and interpretation of the regulations outside of her office had compromised her ability to fulfill her duties.

Cuccinelli had refused to certify a change to regulations adopted by the Board of Health in June that would have grandfathered the state's 20 clinics from having to meet the new standards.

Before the meeting in September, the Attorney General's Office advised board members that their action in June did not conform to the 2011 law passed by the General Assembly. The advisory suggested that they could lose legal protection if they insisted on the grandfather provision and were sued.

While Transvaginal Bob is only a foot soldier for the American Taliban, he is no less dangerous in his ways. NFTOS is asking all Virginians disgusted with TB's actions to give him a call at 804- 786-2211 and let him know your thoughts.

GOP AND THEIR IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Lets face it NFTOS women readers, under the American Taliban regime you're less than a third class citizen. If ye thinks not, watch the below four videos, and if it doesn't sink in, watch them until it does.

Obviously I am not a female, but this fecal matter disgusts me to know end. Women and only women - should be deciding the fate of their own person, their own body parts, and what to keep and what not to.

I find myself in wonderment, that circa 2012, that pasty white men still think it's OK to control a women's right to her own body. Yes, straight out the 1950's radiation bomb shelter to your vagina ladies.

I wonder where this mentality is derived from, is it the gene pool, do they learn this from their parents growing up, do they learn this at their Southern Baptist bible revivals? How can any man say that a baby conceived from rape is "GODS Will"!? This is understood as a crime to most humans, but is considered by the American Taliban as the  "immaculate conception".

Is it ignorance, is it a lack of education?

This is not just the Todd Akin's and Richard Mourdock's of the world, this is the ideology of the radical right fringe - the very lunatic fringe that has the moderate conservative held hostage.

Why does an American female support the very beings that want to keep them down, barefoot and pregnant if you will? Like the Samuel L. Jackson video, hey women "wake the fuck up"!

To Prove A Point

This should emlighten the Tea Baggers

A Woman Is Kicked Off Flight For Wearing A Pro-Choice T-Shirt

A woman was not allowed to board her connecting flight Tuesday because she was wearing a pro-choice shirt that was too offensive, according to American Airlines.

The woman emailed Jodi Jacobson, editor-in-chief of RH Reality Check, recounting the experience:

Right before we were set to land the flight attendant from first class approaches me and asks if I had a connecting flight? We were running a bit behind schedule, so I figured I was being asked this to be sure I would make my connecting flight. She then proceeded to tell me that I needed to speak with the captain before disembarking the plane and that the shirt I was wearing was offensive.

The shirt was gray with the wording, “If I wanted the government in my womb, I’d fuck a senator.”

I must also mention that when I boarded the plane, I was one of the first groups to board (did not pass by many folks). I was wearing my shawl just loosely around my neck and upon sitting down in my seat the lady next to me, who was already seated, praised me for wearing the shirt.

The shirt’s words are actually lifted from a sign used by Oklahoma state Sen. Judy McIntyre (D) at a pro-choice rally. McIntyre told critics who found her sign offensive that “I would hope they would have that same passion about how offensive it is for the Republican Party of Oklahoma to ramrod, because they have the votes to do so, bills that are offensive to women and take away the rights of women.”

American Airlines has an exceptionally strict dress policy, according to CNN. It says that “it can refuse to transport you, or may remove you from your flight for reasons including ‘being clothed in a manner that would cause discomfort or offense to other passengers.’”

Hopefully this gal got the attention of the tea baggers, but something tells me, and recent polls show - Faux News and teapublicans are an ignorant lot.

Transvaginal Bob Despises TSA Pat Downs, But Still OK With Invasive Ultrasound

The One And Only "Transvaginal Bob" McDonnell

Transvaginal Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) signed a mandatory ultrasound bill into law last month, which will require all women who have an abortion in the state to have an ultrasound first, after backing off his earlier support for a more far-reaching version of the bill that would have required a more invasive ultrasound.

Despite his opposition to “invasive” TSA pat-downs, McDonnell still agreed with requiring women to undergo an additional medical procedure because they “have a right to know” all available medical information before making a decision.

But his focus on a woman’s right to know ignores that the bill adds an unfunded, unnecessary burden for women seeking an abortion. In an interview with Bloomberg’s All Hunt, McDonnell stood by his “right to know” line without addressing if the law was a mandate:

The additional requirement throws up another barrier for women who want to have an abortion in Virginia. This invasive law, along with burdensome and expensive state regulations on abortion clinics, are Republican lawmakers’ attempts to limit women’s access to abortion procedures by making it difficult or forcing clinics to close.

Twenty of Virginia’s 23 abortion clinics affected by the new regulations that have gone into place reported that they already meet or will comply with the standards, such as larger hallways, bigger parking lots, and certain health and cooling controls. But complying with the standards was expensive, costing the clinics between $150,000 to $3 million apiece. “These are difficult economic times,” Laura Meyers, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Metropolitan Washington, told the Washington Examiner. “To put more onerous regulations on health care providers that are not necessary seems very counterproductive.”

"JUST CLOSE YOUR EYES"

Penn Gov says "just close your eyes".

PA GOP Governor Defends Ultrasounds Bill.

More than 10 state legislatures are considering or have passed bills forcing women to receive an ultrasound before having an abortion. And Pennsylvania lawmakers are considering one of the most far-reaching ultrasound bills in the nation.

Gov. Tom Corbett (R) reaffirmed this week that he supports the anti-abortion measure so long as it’s not obtrusive because women could simply close their eyes during the procedure:
QUESTION: Making them watch…does that go too far in your mind?

CORBETT: I’m not making anybody watch, OK. Because you just have to close your eyes. As long as it’s on the exterior and not the interior.

Critics say Corbett’s comments show he doesn’t understand how the bill would even work. While the Pennsylvania legislation has been amended to remove references to invasive transvaginal ultrasounds, the language suggests a transvaginal ultrasound could still be required if the embryo is too small. Patrick Murphy, a Democrat running for attorney general, called for Corbett to apologize for his statement. “It’s unthinkable that he would so casually dismiss this by advising women to just close their eyes,” Murphy said.

The state House canceled a vote on the bill this week because medical associations have voiced concerns about the measure. And 48 percent of Pennsylvania voters oppose the ultrasound bill, with 42 percent supporting the measure, according to a new Quinnipiac poll. And 64 percent of voters oppose requiring transvaginal ultrasounds.

Meanwhile, Corbett’s approval rating among Pennsylvanians is dropping.

The mentaility of a radical tea bagger, its deep rooted in hate, arrogance, and ignorance.

AMERICAN THEOCRACY

GOP RADICAL IDEOLOGY

VA GOP, choke and puke politics:

The Virginia Senate voted Tuesday for a scaled-back version of a contentious proposal that would require women to undergo external ultrasounds before abortions, but not the transvaginal ones.

The 21-19 vote in the Republican-controlled Senate — mostly along party lines — came after Gov. Robert F. McDonnell asked legislators to soften the bill following protests on Capitol Square and mocking on national television, including “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” and “Saturday Night Live.’’

McDonnell, an abortion opponent who had said he would sign the bill, asked lawmakers to amend the measure after it became clear the original legislation would have required a vaginal ultrasound in most cases because abortions usually occur in the first trimester.

The Senate amended the bill to exclude women who have reported to law enforcement that they are victims of rape and incest. But women who know that their fetus suffers from birth defects would have to undergo an ultrasound.

Two Democrats — Sen. Charles Colgan (Prince William) and Phil Puckett (Russell) — voted with Republicans. One Republican, Sen. John Watkins (Chesterfield), voted with Democrats.

Because another amendment was added to the bill on Tuesday, the measure goes to the Republican-dominated House of Delegates for approval before it heads to McDonnell for his signature.

McDonnell: I Backpedaled On Ultrasound Bill After Cuccinelli Told Me It’s Unconstitutional.

Governor Bob McDonnell finally explained today what inspired him to soften that invasive ultrasound law in Virginia. He says he didn't really know what was in it!

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) disputed the notion that he’s spending too much time legislating social policy during this morning Politico forum, as he continued to distance himself from a measure that would have required women to undergo an invasive transvaginal ultrasound before receiving an abortion. Under the proposed policy, most women seeking seeking an abortion would have been forced to have a procedure, “in which a probe is inserted into the vagina, and then moved around until an ultrasound image is produced.”

The governor explained that he has focused on “getting our budgets under control” and “jobs,” not social policy, and claimed that he hadn’t read the original provision before publicly endorsing it. McDonnell also added that Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, a conservative powerhouse within the Republican party, advised him that the measure was unconstitutional:
MCDONNELL: We realized there were different kinds of ultrasounds and so what I recommended to the General Assembly, and they adopted the other day, is let’s make the requirement for the abdominal ultrasound… I also got legal advice from various people, including my Attorney General, that these kinds of mandatory invasive requirements might run afoul of Fourth Amendment law. So those were the reasons…After talking to lawyers and doctors on my own, after we started hearing some concerns int he legislature, I personally looked at it. I mean, normally a governor would review these hundreds of hundreds of bills when they get to your desk. You’re so busy advocating your own agenda, you don’t read every legislator’s bill. But I was certainly supportive of that concept.

Until the bill attracted national media attention and frustrated some in the Republican party, however, “McDonnell and his aides had said the governor would sign the measure if it made it to his desk.” Since then, he issued a statement claiming that “Mandating an invasive procedure in order to give informed consent is not a proper role for the state” and offered an amendment that would not force women to receive the procedure. Studies have shown that viewing an ultrasound does not change a woman’s mind before an abortion and only adds to the cost of the procedure.

The Virginia House and a Senate committee have passed the ultrasound bill with the governor’s substitute language.

Even if he was telling the truth, shouldn't he actually know what's in a law before he endorses it? Is that blueberry pie around his mouth?

Virginia Vagina Law Will "Penetrate Beyond Politics"

VIRGINIA VAGINA LAWS
UPDATE: 2/22/12 18:02
State Sen. Jill Holtzman Vogel (R) announced she will seek to strike her controversial “abortion informed consent” bill, rather than accept a watered-down version passed by the House of Delegates. Her original legislation would have required women to undergo unnecessary and invasive ultrasound procedures prior to obtaining abortions, but a House amendment weakened that requirement. The move comes on the heals of late night mockery, public protest, and Gov. Bob McDonnell’s (R) backtracking on his prior support of the measure. Vogel’s decision likely means that her bill won’t be considered this year.

UPDATE: 2/22/12 17:55 Virginia Ultrasound Bill Passes In House

UPDATE: 2/22/12 16:23

Gov. Bob McDonnell said this afternoon Virginia lawmakers should not require a woman considering an abortion to undergo a transvaginal ultrasound.
"There is no need to direct by statute that further invasive ultrasound procedures be done" during abortion procedures, the governor said in a statement released this afternoon.

The governor said he will propose several amendments to a bill that would have required an internal ultrasound procedure in many cases for women seeking abortions.

Instead, McDonnell proposes that the decision concerning the internal procedure, known as a transvaginal ultrasound, be left to a woman and her doctor.

"Mandating an invasive procedure in order to give informed consent is not a proper role for the state. No person should be directed to undergo an invasive procedure by the state, without their consent, as a precondition to another medical procedure," McDonnell said in the statement.
"I am requesting that the General Assembly amend this bill to explicitly state that no woman in Virginia will have to undergo a transvaginal ultrasound involuntarily," McDonnell said in the statement. "I am asking the General Assembly to state in this legislation that only a transabdominal, or external, ultrasound will be required to satisfy the requirements to determine gestational age."
Virginia Democratic Party chair Brian Moran is already faulting McDonnell for not going far enough.
“Let’s be clear: the course of action that Governor McDonnell has advocated forces an unnecessary medical procedure on Virginia women whether their doctors think they need them or not,” Moran said in a statement. “Should Virginia women thank the Governor for giving them a choice over the type of procedure the state will force on them at his behest?”
While it's a step in the right direction, too little to late Einstein! Virginian GOP' ers have flown their true colors, America was watching Virginia, and they called your bluff, called you out, and you have proved yourselves to be truly outdated, pasty old white men - woman hating - racist!

"Flat earth" teapublicans.............

Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell has decided to back off of the forced Ultrasound bill, and has said he'll review it once the final bill hits his desk.

Earlier, Govna Bob told ABC News he supports “the concept that a woman should have all of the information possible before she makes a decision about terminating a pregnancy.” Now, his office has clarified that he will “review” the bill if it passes the General Assembly:
“Our position is: If the General Assembly passes this bill the governor will review it, in its final form, at that time,” McDonnell spokesman Tucker Martin said in a statement. He declined to explain the change in approach, but Virginia’s governors can sign, veto or amend legislation.

The House and Senate have approved their versions of the bill. On Tuesday, the House postponed a final vote on the legislation…for the second day in a row. [...]

"Officials" with knowledge of Tuesday night’s teapublican meeting said GOP leaders hope to introduce amendments on Wednesday, but it is unclear whether the rank and file would support them.

UPDATE: 2/18/12 19:39  Virginia Legislature Passes Occupy Vagina Law

UPDATE: 2/18/12 17:36 Despite the nonsense of Loesch Va. personhood bill sparks outrage. I guess Loesch is the only 'female" [sarcastic] to be against Virginia's Government "Overreach"!

Loesch in her infinite wisdom to remain radical and delusional tries to justify Virginia's "forcible rape law" as:
"Furthermore, the greatest number of abortions are obtained by women who already have a child/children, so they know how anatomy and physiology works. A lack of planning on the woman’s part doesn’t constitute a mandate for legalized (and in the case of Planned Parenthood, publicly-funded) murder."
"Cases of rape and incest account for around less than 1% of abortions [bold my emphasis]:"
"The pro-abortion progressive lobby has worked extensively this past week to classify Virginia’s straight-forward law as “rape,” even though the law doesn’t dictate what sort of ultrasound should be used before a woman murders her child. The easiest and most reliable way is the transvaginal ultrasound, more common in the first trimester. Progressives act as though there are no other options available to avoid becoming pregnant, prior to getting pregnant, and that the consequence from their choice prior to sex is the problem."

Inserting something into the vagina of an unwilling woman is a violation in every sense of the word. But not to Dana Loesch. Evidently pissing on the dead Taliban is not enough for this reich- winger [woman] [sarcastic]! Classy lady huh, nothing says class like Loesch!

The ultrasound requirement may evoke images of the abdominal sonograms standard in most pregnancies, fuzzy black and white pictures conjured by a wand passed across a woman's stomach.

But those ultrasounds are ordinarily done fairly late in pregnancy. In the beginning, particularly the first weeks, an abdominal ultrasound may not be sensitive enough to detect anything.

That's why doctors in many cases use a transvaginal ultrasound. In plain speak, they insert a condom-covered probe into a woman's vagina to obtain an image.

In order to satisfy the goals of the legislation - which includes a requirement that a doctor determine the gestational age of the pregnancy- a transvaginal ultrasound may be the only reliable course.

The bill, among the most invasive ever passed in Virginia, is the result of frustration by lawmakers opposed to abortion. Unsuccessful in making abortion illegal and unwilling to be frank about their goals, they have tried by technicality and obfuscation to make it harder for a woman to terminate a pregnancy.

And now this. In addition to the ultrasound, the bill mandates a waiting period of at least 2 hours and as long as a day before a woman can have an abortion. That waiting period has no medical necessity at all - which Loesch fails to mention in her diatribe.

This isn't about whether abortion is right or wrong.

This is about the scope of government. Even those opposed to abortion should have qualms about the government mandating medical procedures and waiting periods.

Under any other circumstances, forcing an unwilling person to submit to a vaginal probing would be a violation beyond imagining. Requiring a doctor to commit such an act, especially when medically unnecessary, and to submit to an arbitrary waiting period, is to demand an abrogation of medical ethics, if not common decency.

Loesch's real intent was to, as always, support the rhetoric of her boss - by spinning her justification to this diabolical bill, she manages to intertwine this bill with occupy rapes:

"If progressives are going to make the case for rape, let’s look at actual cases of rape, such as those which occurred in Occupy."

Staus quo with Loesch, instead of being dazzled with brilliance, we are baffled with bullshit. Why didn't she just continue Breitbart's "Narrative", which is, occupy rape? Why, because the "Narrative" is convoluted with lies and half truths. Lesson's learned Breitbart et al, manipulating videos, and ranting "rape", and "freaks" for a "stunt" is not a way to garner a following or to posture a position!

Hence the "false narrative" by Loesch.

I would suggest to Loesch that she learn the "facts" on abortion and murder! Maybe, had she stayed in college in stead of being a "dropout" -  that she could have been able to discern the difference between the two.

Just for reference Dana:
"Murder" is defined as "illegal killing with malice aforethought." Abortion is NOT illegal in this country and therefore does not fit the definition of 'murder.'

Virginia's Version of "PERSONHOOD"

PERSONHOOD VIRGINNY STYLE
UPDATE: 2/16/12 13:28

"This isn't just a hard right turn. It's been a U turn to the right," said Sen. A. Donald McEachin, D-Henrico and chairman of the Senate Democratic Caucus. "Just look at what they've done: Drug-testing welfare recipients, clearly something that's got no basis in fact but meant to reinforce a stereotype. And those voter suppression bills, and the personhood amendment."

It’s clear that the Virginia GOP Legislature is willing to prioritize extreme legislation that could jeopardize human dignity and basic human rights! Personhood, its something that these Virginian's evidentially missed during high school educational classes.

Maddow Video Should Have All Americans Pissed Off, Not Just Virginian's: I am going to let Rachael's' video do most of the talking.

**Maddow has promised us another section on this topic tonight -
once its posted we will publish as an update** West 2/15/12 17:50

I lied, see why this bill is just oh so wrong in oh so many, many ways:

Women in particular, me in general are sick and tired of old racist, radical, teapublican white men making law and decisions for women. Teaublicans say they want less government; but they don't mind government interfering with womens bodies, our homes and our bedrooms.

Personhood USA is a grassroots, Christian (sarcastic) organization founded to establish personhood efforts across America to create protection for every child by love and by law. Personhood USA is committed to assisting and supporting Personhood Legislation and Constitutional Amendments and building local pro-life organizations through raising awareness of the personhood of the preborn.

Who's The Person?

So that you understand teapublican "personhood":
“This bill requires every single code section in Virginia that uses the word ‘person’ to apply to a fetus,” said Del. Jennifer McClellan (D-Richmond), a member of the Courts committee. “That opens families and doctors to a wide variety of criminal and civil lawsuits for health care decisions not only in cases of unwanted pregnancies, but every pregnancy and even miscarriage."
And why is this you ask?:

Let me be graphic here, whether you like it or not women, against your will, you shall have a " Forced Transvaginal ultrasound" on you in which: "Your fetus has fingernails … and we’re going to show them to you"!

" Forced Transvaginal ultrasound" is a type of pelvic ultrasound. It is used to look at a woman's reproductive organs, including the uterus, ovaries, cervix, and vagina. Transvaginal means across or through the vagina.

You will lie down on a table with your knees bent and feet in holders called stirrups. The health care provider will place a probe, called a transducer, into the vagina. The probe is covered with a condom and a gel. The probe sends out sound waves, which reflect off body structures. A computer receives these waves and uses them to create a picture. The doctor can immediately see the picture on a nearby TV monitor.

The health care provider will move the probe within the area to see the pelvic organs.

In some cases, a special transvaginal ultrasound method called saline infusion sonography (SIS), also called sonohysterography or hysterosonography, may be needed to more clearly view the uterus.

While conducting the test, the resulting images must be shown to the woman, even if she doesn’t want to see them, with the doctor pointing out salient details, like limbs, fingernails, and the heartbeat.

The woman retains the right to look away — but if she does, her eyes are likely to fall upon the result of further radical bills which - Require abortion signs in waiting rooms and consultation room that start off saying “Notice: It is against the law for anyone, regardless of his or her relationship to you, to force you to have the abortion.”

There’s a old piece on the Huffington Post — written by Dana Stone, who’s a doctor and fellow of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists — that does a good job of explaining why it’s egregious. For example: It forces women to have a procedure done that is not medically necessary (and since vaginal ultrasounds produce better pictures than abdominal ultrasounds in the early stages of pregnancy, this law would often require women to have additional medical instruments put inside them against their wishes). As such, it violates patients’ rights to refuse treatment or testing.

In most circles this "forcible rape" is called "the “Freedom of Conscience Act.” It is unclear whether they are referring to the doctors’ consciences (i.e., if you force the woman to have an ultrasound and she still wants an abortion, it’s not your fault) or the women’s (because clearly you must be free from a conscience if you decide to terminate a pregnancy).

Either way this Virginia bill is both disgusting and vile, and Virginian GOPers have sunk to a new low, a new low to which would even make Aleister Crowley proud!

I thought of proposing an alternate bill to these asshats in Richmond called the “Freedom to Not Have an Ultrasound Wand Stuck Up Your Vagina When It’s Not Medically Necessary and You Don’t Want It There” Act, and; there ought to be a bill titled, "if you can't bare a child, sit down and shut the f**k up!
