IF MINORITIES VOTE "BINDERS FULL O' WOMEN" LOSES

If Minorities Vote, Romney Can't Win: Gaming Out the Popular Vote Possibilities.

Let NFTOS be more specific: If turnout and support is as high among minorities as polls indicate, and if President Obama gets at least as much support from white voters as Democratic House candidates did in the horrid 2010 midterm elections, then Romney cannot win the popular vote.

But you can play with the numbers yourself to predict Obama's margin, with your own assumptions.

It just takes three simple steps!

1. Pick the level of minority support you think Obama will get
Scenario 1 - 2008 levels (this is about what general polls show)
Scenario 2 - better than 2008 (this is what minority-specific polls show, see below)
Scenario 3 - 2004 levels (what Republicans are hoping for, or at least something close)
(Update: for example, in 2008, exit polls showed Obama winning the Hispanic vote by a 36 point margin, and in 2004 they showed Kerry winning the Hispanic vote by a 9 point margin.)

2. Pick your racial demographics
In 2008, the electorate was 74% white, according to exit polls. Since 1992, the electorate has been ~3.2 points less white each cycle, which would put us at 71% white this year. But Gallup says that won't happen this year, and 2012 will be the same as 2008. Meanwhile, Conventional Wisdom says minorities are bummed and won't turn out this year. Minority voters themselves say otherwise when asked.

3. Pick your level of white support
In 2008, Obama had 43% support from white voters. In 2010, House Democrats had 38%. In 1984, Mondale had 35%. Polls are currently showing around 38-41% (splitting undecideds and leaving 1.5% other.) At least one pollster is known to have overestimated white support for Democrats in 2010, however.

If Obama can do just one point better among whites than Democrats did in 2010 - 39% - (which would occur even if preferences among whites stay the same as 2010, because of greater turnout from young voters) then Obama cannot lose the popular vote as long as he maintains support among minorities at 2008 levels (Scenario 1) - and especially if he increases it (Scenario 2). It wouldn't even matter if turnout bucks history and yields an electorate 1% more white than the previous electorate. So the main question is - was 2010 a recent low point for white support for Democrats, or will it go lower? Details and explanations below the fold.

I wonder where this mentality is derived from, is it the gene pool, do they learn this from their parents growing up, do they learn this at their Southern Baptist bible revivals? How can any man say that a baby conceived from rape is "GODS Will"!? This is understood as a crime to most humans, but is considered by the American Taliban as the  "immaculate conception".

Is it ignorance, is it a lack of education?

This is not just the Todd Akin's and Richard Mourdock's of the world, this is the ideology of the radical right fringe - the very lunatic fringe that has the moderate conservative held hostage.

Why does an American female support the very beings that want to keep them down, barefoot and pregnant if you will? Like the Samuel L. Jackson video, hey women "wake the fuck up"!

Republicans are bracing themselves for Gloria Allred to make a potentially damaging revelation about Mitt Romney, just weeks before the election.

The pro-President Obama lawyer is rumored to be preparing for her so-called 'October surprise' in which she will strike the Republican presidential hopeful's chances by unearthing some sort of secret or scandal.

Ms Allred has refused to comment on the rumors, which first surfaced in a tweet by the Drudge Report's Matt Drudge on Thursday.

'Here she comes. Hearing Gloria Allred out there again, about to make a move. After all, it's her time of the campaign. Team O at the ready!!' Mr Drudge wrote on Twitter.

According to RadarOnline.com, Ms Allred launched a last minute strike on GOP Meg Whitman's campaign for governor of California by representing a disgruntled former housekeeper.

In the pivotal moments of the campaign, the lawyer wheeled out Nicky Diaz who alleged that she was fired by the Whitman family because she was an illegal immigrant.

Whitman went on to lose the election to Democrat Jerry Brown.

Allowing women to vote ‘One Of The Greatest Mistakes That America Made’

The Raw Story uncovered a sermon that Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson gave in March in which he spends 10 minutes lecturing his audience about how women have destroyed America. Lee is a radical pastor who says that allowing women to vote was “one of the greatest mistakes that America made.”

“Look at every place where a women is in control,” said Peterson. “You see nothing but confusion. There’s no good in it at all, none.”

Peterson’s sermon began with comments about Sandra Fluke, doubling down on Rush Limbaugh’s slut remarks. But halfway through his speech, he kicked the hate into another gear:

PETERSON: “I think that one of the greatest mistakes that America made was to allow women the opportunity to vote. We should have never turned that over to women.”

“It was a big mistake…these women are voting in the wrong people. They’re voting in people who are evil, who agree with them…Men in the good old days understood the nature of the women, they were not afraid to deal with them.”

“Wherever women are taking over, evil reigns.”

Amazingly, just last week, Sean Hannity, who sits on the board of Peterson’s group BOND: Brotherhood Organization for a New Destiny, invited him to sit on his Great American Panel once again to discuss the president’s comments on the one-year anniversary of the death of Osama bin Laden.

But the conversation never quite made it that far. Fellow panelist Kirsten Powers, a Fox News columnist and political analyst, abandoned the segment to hit back against Peterson and his anti-women views, over the objections of Hannity who wanted to spend his time attacking President Obama.

For two minutes, Powers and Peterson exchanged barbs while Hannity and the third panelist, Indiana state Treasurer Richard Mourdock (R), sat quietly on the sidelines. Powers told Hannity that she had no idea Peterson would be a guest on the show alongside her, and invited him to repudiate Peterson’s remarks (he declined).

Peterson has made appearances on Fox News for years, fielding frequent invites from Hannity in particular despite Peterson’s history of hateful comments. And it’s not like Hannity had no warning. Peterson has previously said he “thank[s]God for slavery, because had it not, the blacks that are here would have been stuck in Africa.” He also called the victims of Hurricane Katrina “welfare-pampered,” “lazy,” and “immoral.”

And while Powers was rightfully outraged at Fox News’ decision to offer Lee a national platform, Hannity was unapologetic, quickly shutting down the spat and pivoting to his usual agenda of attacking the president.
