A day after a black man was punched in the face by a white Donald Trump rally attendee and then wrestled to the ground by police officers, Trump shrugged off any responsibility and expressed sympathy for the anger his supports feel.

Asked at Thursday’s Republican debate whether he might have created a tone of violence, Trump responded “I hope not. I truly hope not.” While saying he has not condoned violence against protesters, he defended his supporters as having “tremendous passion.”

“When they see protesters, when they see what’s going in on the country, they have anger. They don’t like seeing bad trade deals, higher taxes, loss of their jobs.”

Violence by Trump supporters has been a recurring issue at his campaign events.

Moderator Jake Tapper noted that Trump has frequently egged on his supporters, “including February 23: ‘I’d like to punch him in the face,’ referring to a protester. February 27: ‘In the good ol’ days, they’d have knocked him out of seat so fast.’ February 1: ‘Knock the crap out of them, would you? Seriously, okay? Just knock the hell.” He also noted that Trump promised last month to pay for the legal fees of any supporter who roughs up a protester.

“We have some protesters who are bad dudes, they have done bad things,” Trump replied, “They are swinging, they are really dangerous and they get in there and start hitting people. And we had a couple big, strong, powerful guys doing damage to people — not only the loudness, the loudness I don’t mind. But doing serious damage.”

This is a prime example, the by-product if you will of low IQ humans listening to the daily red met bullshit of Fuckface Von Clownstick. For Trump to not condone this stuff, garners him asshole of the day.

THE RISE OF THE 6TH GRADE BULLY

It hit me right after the last republican debate the other night– these guys are just the like bullies I knew in middle school! Donald on Cruz “He’s a liar” Cruz on Trump “..who the heck knows what he would do? Even Donald doesn’t know what he would do.”

Trump on Rubio: 

“Little Marco, applies makeup with a trowel” then mocks him for needing to drink water and sweating too much”.

Back and forth, round and round. Robot Rubio, The spray tan Donald. Hair force one. Sorry, I know, lame ass (but true) puns. Remember the playground from 6th grade? Sound familiar? Testosterone was just starting. Fart joke, butt jokes, and yes…dick jokes.

 So it came as a real surprise that the worst attack that followed days later was by Marco Rubio…”the Donald is 6’ 2’ and did you see his hands? They’re so small….you know what they say about men with small hands”

Yep, he went there. Are you kidding me GOP? This is your new “anointed one”. This first class a-hole just showed us how immature he really is. The same Florida senator who said, appearing on Fox and Friends back last June:

“We already have a president now that has no class. We have a president now that, you know, does selfie stick videos, that invites YouTube stars there, you know, people who eat cereal out of a bathtub.”

Calling him unfit to be President? Bingo Marco – You aren’t either; by your own standards no less! These morons can’t get out of their own way!

Then there’s Religious Liberty. Gov. Kasich went further than any of his rivals in dismissing — even belittling — the idea that businesses should be able to claim religious liberty and allow them not to cater to gay and lesbian couples.

“Tomorrow, maybe I won’t sell to somebody who’s divorced,” Mr. Kasich said, his voice rising.

“If you’re in the business of commerce, conduct commerce. That’s my view. And if you don’t agree with their lifestyle, say a prayer for them when they leave.”

Deafening silence fell across the stage. Republican talking heads almost exploded with that position the following day

With most republicans I know, they are ready for Rubio to be the prom king. So let’s play out the Marco campaign – Shouts from the floor in Cleveland – MARCO!...(from the far side of the arena) RUBIO. MARCO! RUBIO! I wonder, am I at another 6th grade pool party? Maybe Marco will invite all to play a game of stickball.

“TED CRUZ SO CREPPY THAT NO ONE NOTICES HE IS A BULLY”

Lewis Black said the most surprising news out of Iowa was that Ben Carson, who briefly challenged Donald Trump for Republican frontrunner status, announced he was flying home to Florida for a change of clothes.

Black, who took part Tuesday in a panel discussion on “The Nightly Show,” said he can’t believe some voters went for Carson despite his latest bizarre pronouncement.

“That kind of leads into the other thing, that someone that really batsh*t crazy scores, like, 10 percent in Iowa,” Black said. “I mean, seriously.”

Black agreed with host Larry Wilmore and two other panelists, Rory Albanese and Franchesca Ramsey, that Sen. Marco Rubio likely posed the most serious challenge to Hillary Clinton.

But Black said he had serious concerns about Rubio’s qualifications for the presidency.

“The other thing with him, we’re going to watch on-the-job training, and I just can’t do this again,” he said. “I mean, Barack Obama, part of the problem was on-the-job training.”

Wilmore suggested that racist opposition to Obama played a bigger role in limiting his accomplishments, and Black agreed to a point.

“It was absolutely that, but also it was dealing with — it’s the same position of a guy who’s in the Senate who hasn’t been in the Senate long enough,” Black said.

Wilmore pointed out that Sen. Ted Cruz, who won the GOP caucuses in Iowa, has a similar background — and Black feigned a heart attack.

“Here’s what Rubio’s problem is right now — both Trump and Cruz are both bullies,” Black said. “So I think that they’re going to kind of punch him. What I really find interesting about Cruz, after everything else, is that people don’t seem to have noticed that he is a bully. Trump is an obvious bully. Cruz is the bully who acts weird, and he’s acting weird all the time, and so you end up doing what the weird guy wants you to do so he’ll stop acting weird.”

How do you eliminate a majority of gun murders in the United States, use smart guns. But, because this technology involves the word "smart" - ignorant gun huggers are having any part of it.

Smart guns, the iPhone of weaponry?

Technology has been proven to solve today's greatest social challenges, and curbing gun violence in this country is one of the greatest challenges we face as a country.

There is a battle going on in the U.S. over the development and sale of so-called "smart guns" — handguns that proponents say should improve safety and lower gun murder rates because they can only be fired by owners.

The main opponent is the Ammosexual Association, better known as the National Rifle Association. But it will not speak. The Springfield (Mo.) News-Leader left six messages on the phone and with a secretary over two weeks for the one spokesman designated to talk to the media, Andrew Arulanandam, in the national office in Virginia. He did not respond. Eventually, the newspaper requested someone — anyone — to send a statement on the group's position on smart guns. The organization never replied.

Currently, there is not a gun dealer in the U.S. willing to offer a smart gun for sale. A company called Armatix, based in Germany with an office in California, this year had two gun dealers — one in Maryland and one in California — ready to offer its .22-caliber handgun. The safety measure is a stopwatch worn on the wrist that sends a radio transmission, with a range of 10 inches, to the gun. The radio transmission enables the gun to fire.

The company promoted the breakthrough, and the national media jumped on the news. As a result, the two gun-shop owners were thrust into the eye of a national storm. They caught overwhelming criticism from gun owners and Second Amendment proponents. Both backed down and decided not to sell the gun.

"I won't touch it again," says Andy Raymond, 34, who owns Engage Armament in Rockville, Md. He had agreed to sell the gun simply because he thought he could pick up a few more customers. But his life changed when Armatix put him front and center in a media campaign.

Smart guns, a technology without a market? Smart gun technology, like most things that escape the cognitive thought process of the low educated gun hugger - the fear of not being able or willing to accept things that are not within your IQ capability - is a travesty in itself, multiply this and the number of innocent humans being killed by "responsible gun huggers" - then smart guns seems like a very viable option.

"Propaganda works best when the audience, when those who are being manipulated are confident that they are acting on their own free will." Fox News and the NRA are masters at this. Fear the ignorant beast that knows no better.

Imagine a gun that could never be turned against you by an intruder, a gun that would never go off in the hands of a child accidentally, a gun that would be useless as a paperweight if it were stolen. 

Unfortunately, a technology that could significantly improve gun safety in America and prevent certain acts of violence has become caught up in a hopelessly polarized national gun debate - and the country is yet again held hostage by the NRA.

One might think gun-rights advocates would be eager to remove some of the most powerful arguments for limiting the sale of firearms. But they aren’t. The National Rifle Association plays up the fact that, for now, “smart guns” are less reliable and more expensive. Gun-rights advocates worry that the technology that renders a gun inoperable in the hands of thief could also allow the government to shut a gun down in the hands of a legitimate owner. But the biggest reason for the opposition to “smart guns” stems from the fear that they will prompt a ban on ordinary guns.

This mentality, like when Obama was elected, that he and DOJ top dog Eric Holder would go door-to-door confiscating guns. Yes this ignorance is matched - by none.

When does America, a country of 350 million, say fuck you to the NRA, a membership of only 4 million. When does the NRA stop bullying this country, our gun stores and our politicians? Until we put these greedy bastards in their place, only then can we start to use "smart" technology.

TWITTER HAS A CHANGE OF HEART

Twitter caused quite a stir late Thursday regarding a change in its block policy, provoking outrage from victims of online harassment and advocates. The new policy, which would have allowed blocked users to keep following and retweeting their blockers, was reversed hours after its debut.

But while the decision to reverse the change was welcomed, it may not go far enough for those most vulnerable to violent threats and harassment — specifically women, people of color, and the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered community.

Women took to Twitter soon after the announcement to protest the change, explaining they used the block function to shield themselves from rape and death threats. In a petition against the new policy, several users shared examples of how they had been stalked and threatened on Twitter. “As a public person who uses the medium for my work, I am very concerned because stalkers and abusers will now be able to keep tabs on their victims, and while there was no way to prevent it 100 percent before, Twitter should not be in the business of making it easier to stalk someone,” wrote Zerlina Maxwell, a political analyst and feminist writer who started the petition. Maxwell received hundreds of rape and death threats after an appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News program earlier this year.

“We never want to introduce features at the cost of users feeling less safe,” Michael Sippey, Twitter’s vice president of product wrote in an announcement Thursday night. He also mentions that Twitter is dissatisfied with the “old” block option, which keeps blocked users from seeing any activity of the blockers, saying it’s “not ideal, largely due to the retaliation,” which sometimes involves blocked users recruiting their followers to harass the blockers.

However, to some, the fact that Twitter launched the policy in the first place smacks of insensitivity to female users.

“It’s always a safe bet that if you put money on dudes in tech or media corporate hierarchies underestimating or not considering the needs of women, you’ll always beat the house,” Jenn Pozner, executive director of Women in Media and News. Pozner monitors online harassment of women and has experienced repeated rape and death threats. “Even in the way they discussed why they were making their change, [their] entire mindset was, ‘Let’s coddle harassers who are pissed off and fix something that, even nominally, makes their lives difficult.”

Despite recanting the block policy, users feel Twitter should make a more concerted effort to protect users from online abuse. “I’m pleased that Twitter decided to revert back to the ‘old’ blocking policy, but I would really like to see them improve certain aspects of their reporting policy,” Maxwell said.

Those changes should include a “very clear policy” on abusive tweets that’s actively enforced, Pozner said. Twitter currently has an abusive behavior policy that prohibits “direct, specific threats of violence against others,” a characterization that omits more generalized expressions of violence that still make many targets feel unsafe. The network also has recently rallied against online abuse by holding a video contest under the #ByeByeBullying hashtag and supporting Bullying Awareness Week.

In addition to the now restored blocking option, there should be a “mute” option, which would temporarily filter out someone from your feed and mentions without fully blocking them, Maxwell suggested. Other changes should include a spam reporting function, as well as more aggressive enforcement and follow-up for the current reporting policies and reports, Maxwell said.

“Right now, abusers really can just harass you with impunity. And while no solution is 100 percent, the frequency of threats and harassment that people—and women in particular—deal with on a daily basis is unacceptable,” she added.

Pozner blamed this lax policy on an indifference to women. “They have been told directly by their female users in a ton of different ways that there is a long-term problem that female users have with violent harassment . “I’ve stopped reporting stuff to Twitter because nothing ever happens. They never did anything about it.”

Reigning in threats of abuse, specifically rape, has been an ongoing struggle for Twitter and other social networking sites. Twitter recently agreed to ease its reporting requirements after users complained that it was too hard to report repeated rape threats. The site also promised over the summer to take these abusive tweets more seriously and streamline the reporting process.

Gun advocates need to stop hiding behind the Second Amendment after every time mass shootings like this occur, and we need to impose upon the nation’s lawmakers to recognize changes going on in our country - and to get serious about cracking down on guns.

Lets be real readers, the men responsible for drafting and writing the Constitution themselves owned slaves, and by modern standards - they would certainly be considered not very tolerant men.

Times they are a changing in these here United States, and as attitudes change, lawmakers need to recognize this. Both sides of the isle, all politicians need to stop listening to the NRA Bully Pulpit, AKA the gun lobbyist and start seriously addressing the issue of gun control.

In a perfect world, for our system (Democracy) to work we need a transparent forum where the public can be assured that issues are debated fairly and reasonably; where those who’s job it is to study, investigate and inform are free from threat or retribution; and, we need a government who is unafraid and will consider all the evidence – wherever it may lead. Unfortunately, we live in the real world where the NRA, the bullies in the American political schoolyard, have stymied dialogue, intimated policy makers (current and future) and corrupted our electoral system almost beyond recognition.

That is axiomatic and only the most strident and extreme gun zealots would argue with this characterization of the NRA’s pernicious effect on our body politic. But now, as if we needed more, we have fresh evidence of the deleterious impact the bullies have had on even just the studying of the effect of the proliferation of guns in our society.

You can buy an unlimited number of guns in Arizona. You can buy gun parts piece by piece in any part of the country and put one together without ever having a to be exposed to a waiting period or a background check.

Loopholes in laws exist everywhere, acquiring guns is know different. Gun show loop holes have to be closed, period!

I was thinking while sitting at my desk right after this event, and one failed attempt at a shoe bomb, and we all take off our shoes at the airport; 31 school shootings since Columbine, and no change in our regulations of guns! Why is this you ask, because of "The American Bully Pulpit" AKA The National Rifle Association. Until we stand up to these bullies, we shall ever never escape the chains of unregulated gun laws.

If your first reaction to this horrible act or any shooting is to think or say; "Oh shit, Obama and the socialist liberals are going to try to take our guns and second amendments away" - then your priorities as a human being suck at best, and your mentality pretty much makes you as f*&ked up as the shooter himself!

At a minimum: If food stampers have to take drug tests to get the stamps, then people whom want to buy a gun should have to take and pass a psychological evaluation!

The only good news is that the best antidote to NRA-style contemptuous behavior and manipulation of our political system is exactly what our Founders (at least some of them) envisioned: a informed, engaged citizenry. If and when we actually turn on the light, the political cockroaches, the NRA, and those whom hide behind their second amendment rights, shall scurry back into the darkness, to never ever be heard from, or feared from again.

I would close with: "Dear Gun Toting Second Amendment Holy Roller Internet People: Maybe choose another day to make pro-gun statements. Sincerely, Good Taste"
