APOLOGY TOUR

Bill Maher last night in his New Rules segment recommended that President Obama use his last months in office to go on an "Apology World Tour," and make amends for all of the harm we've intentionally and unintentionally done to other countries.

CAPTAIN CARNIVAL BARKER AND CRAZY MCSLEEPY PANTS

Bill Maher closed his show out on Friday by ridiculing a Republican electorate demanding that their next presidential candidate have as little political experience as possible.

“Experience? Knowing things? Republicans avoid that stuff like a gay son,” Maher said.

If Ben Carson is so proud of his own lack of experience, he argued, he should let someone with no medical training operate on his brain.

“Given some of the shit that comes out of his month, I think someone already has,” he added.

Maher went so far as to say that seeing Carson and Donald Trump — or “Crazy McSleepy Pants” and “Captain Carnival Barker,” respectively — topping Republican voter polls caused him to shift his stance on wanting a shorter election season.

Unlike French or British voters, Maher said, Americans are “far too dim and distracted” to vote responsibly without having a longer election season to help them winnow out the candidates.
“If our election season was just two months long, Trump would have won already in a landslide,” Maher said. “But time is our greatest ally against idiot candidates. Already you’re seeing people tiring of Trump because he has three pieces of schtick: ‘I’m great,’ ‘Mexico’s laughing at us,’ ‘constipated toddler face.'”

DRESSING LIKE THE SCARECROW GARNERS MAHER'S ATTENTION

VIDEO COURTESY OF HBO

Bill Maher Friday night took a shot at the husband of Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis for showing up for her nationally televised release from jail wearing overalls and a battered straw hat with a green visor.

After mocking a Florida man for being arrested for masturbating in a Burger King, and pointing out to Native American tribes that rain dances don’t work (“Rain dances don’t fucking work, people. My front lawn is now made of dirt.“) Maher turned — once again — to Kim Davis, the anti-gay county clerk who chose to go to jail rather then allow her office to give out marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

Specifically, Maher drew attention to the widely ridiculed picture of Davis and her husband Joe posing with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.
“New rule: Someone has to tell Kim Davis’ husband who showed up for her big release event looking like this,” Maher said , pausing for viewers to take the photo in,” That when people already think you’re brainless, it doesn't help to dress up like the scarecrow.”

EXPLAINING JOKES TO IDIOTS PART TWO

Bill Maher ended with New Rules last night expressing concerns about a new brand of politically correct censorship that is threatening to silence comedy. He reiterated what he said last week about the politically correct culture: Jerry Seinfeld is right, people are too sensitive, and kids these days throw words around like “sexist” and “racist” without knowing what they mean.

Maher told these PC ‘idiots” that their “new brand of censorship” doesn’t care if something is offensive, all it takes is for certain words to set people off and they go ballistic.

Maher particularly had some choice words for the writer of “An Open Letter to Jerry Seinfeld from a ‘Politically Correct’ College Student.” Maher called him a “little shit” and gleaned from his letter that the PC police are fine with jokes as long as they’re not made “about a protected species.”

He patiently explained that comedy is never fair and stereotypes are often used, but most people tend to just laugh at get over it rather than freaking out about every single little possible slight that someone might make in a comedy routine.

GAY WEDDING CAKES IS THE WORST PROBLEM YOU GOT?

Bill Maher ended his show tonight by putting America’s religious freedom debate in some context: at least U.S. fundamentalists have been reined in, but Muslim nations need to do the same. (This came at the end of a show where Maher and Fareed Zakaria argued about Maher’s critiques of Islam.)

Maher found it hilarious that the culture wars have progressed to the point where conservatives are fighting for the right not to serve wedding cakes to gay people. After all, he said, the Bible dictates “being gay is an abomination and we must destroy it by denying it pastry.”

But as nutty as America’s fundamentalists are, Maher said that Islam has “crazy scripture” too, and moderates need to “hijack it,” take the “crazy parts” out, and hope for a more peaceful time when, just like the U.S., their biggest fights are over gay cake.

FRAT CULTURE, "GET THE FUCK OUT"

With all the news about horrible fraternity behavior, Bill Maher had a message last tonight for people still engrained in frat culture: “get the fuck out.”

Maher, certainly no prude, said frats are really becoming a huge problem when you have abuse going on, racial epithets flying around, and even people dying from hazing rituals. And after going through some of the most screwed-up methods of hazing members, Maher asked, “Jesus, why not just pledge ISIS?”

He said if anyone wants to go to college to “paint your face or degrade women or drink yourself sick,” they should really rethink the idea of college in the first place.

REPUBLICAN AFFLUENZA

Real Time's Bill Maher took a swing at the Republicans and their double standard when it comes to the value of work and someone pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps, unless of course it comes from inherited wealth.

LOVIN YOU SOME MERICA CONSERVATIVE STYLE

BILL MAHER MOCKING THE CREEPY RUDY GUILIANI

Bill Maher ended his show tonight revisiting last month’s controversy over whether President Obama loves America. And Maher just had one question: why are Republicans “obsessed” about Obama either not loving the country or loving it “the wrong way”?

VIDEO COURTESY OF HBO

Maher argued that it’s okay to criticize America, because “many of the good things America has done are actually reversals of bad things America did.” He went through a list of social and cultural advancements over the last century and pointed out, “All of that wouldn't have been necessary if we hadn't been dicks in the first place.”

"You Betcha I Was Wrong About Sarah Palin"

Bill Maher ended his show last night talking about Sarah Palin‘s rambling Iowa speech that was the final straw for many Republicans and conservatives. But Maher had just one question for them: “What took you so long?!”

Maher mocked the revelation as an “emperor has no clues” situation and asked Republicans why they took so long, saying, “The rest of us have been watching this dog eat grass for seven years!”

However, while Maher was that many conservatives are finally admitting Palin “is a crazy person,” he said they should maybe consider what else they’ve been “wrong” about, like climate change or trickle-down economics.

FOR THOSE LAZY ASSES WHO FAILED TO VOTE

MITT MCCAIN - A COMBO OF WHAT WE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN HAD WE NOT VOTED

Bill Maher in New Rules last night - both educates and shames those Americans who are to lazy to vote.

Truly readers, there is not a reason to not vote, even in this day in age when wing nuts are making it so difficult to do so. Like Maher said, all the more reason to vote.

GENERATION ASS

NEWS RULES DISCUSSES ASSES, AGE, AND POLITICS

Bill Maher in new rules last night spoke about political age discrimination.

And the first part of new rules went like this:

TELL THE VIRGINS I SAID HELLO Video Courtesy of HBO

Now, as always, after an episode of Maher's HBO show Real Time, [like Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central, comediennes] - they slay the RWNJ with facts, and this sends the nut job into head implosion mode. Take website Mediate for example, visit this once respectable site and view the frothy tea baggers incited over any video or show by the above aforementioned GOP slayers.

As a liberal - pop some popcorn, gather your favorite beverage and enjoy the reading, its better than any political news or TV show out there.

KANSAS VOTERS ARE MIRED DOWN WITH TOUGH DECISIONS

SAM BROWNBACK - KANSAS TIN FOIL HAT SOCIETY LEADER

WHICH IS WORSE, DICK TRICKLE DOWN SYNDROME OR LAP DANCE:

During his New Rules segment this Friday night, Real Time's Bill Maher took a shot at the "easily distracted" voters of Kansas, who may actually reelect their Governor Sam Brownback for another undeserved term after he wrecked the economy of their state, but the better part of his ire was reserved for the likes of Chuck Todd and Meet the Press, who allowed Grover Norquist to come on last month and attack Brownback's opponent, Paul Davis, for going to a strip club sixteen years ago.

New Rule: People in Florida now earn the right to make fun of Kansas.

Kansas needs a buddy state. A state that comes along and says "I don't think that's a good idea, Champ. I think you might hurt yourself pal". And to provide encouragement when they do good. "I elected a person not of the galactically stupid." "Good going Champ".

FELLATE SHOW

In typical Bill Maher fashion - last nights show not being any different, Maher tells it like it is.

Bill Maher may agree with liberals on many things, but one thing he is not tolerant of is - constantly-outraged liberals staying silent on Islamic atrocities.

Maher said it’s ridiculous for President Obama to claim ISIS isn’t Islamic, because looking at the actual beliefs of ISIS and many Muslims around the world shows that much of Islam “has too much in common with ISIS.”

Maher tore into liberal ideas of multiculturalism and non-judgment when it comes to whether certain belief systems are better. Maher said of course “liberal Western culture” is better than horrid theocracies where people’s rights are threatened every single day.

LIBERAL WESTERN CULTURE

Whether you like him or not - or agree with him or not - the bottom line is pretty clear, homo sapien priorities are screwed up.

POLYETHOXYLATED TALLOW AMINE MORE LIKELY TO KILL AMERICANS THAN ISIS

Says Bill Maher.

During Bill's "New Rules" segment, Maher attacked the war hawk conservative for hyping domestic threats from ISIS and “other brown people,” while ignoring other pressing matters at home.

Maher said:
"that he does feel bad about the journalists beheaded by the jihadist group, but cautioned: “When you choose to live among cutthroats, you might get your throat cut.”
“Do Americans living here actually think it’s going to be them next?” he asked. “Get a grip.”

Like him or not, Maher tells it like it is.
