TOM HANKS GOES DEPLORABLE ON SNL

Saturday Night Live,” actor Tom Hanks went full deplorable. He donned a red “Make America Great Again” hat and sported an over-grown, graying goatee to hilariously channel a “typical” Trump supporter as a guest on “Black Jeopardy.”
“They told me a fella can win some money, so let’s win some money. Get ‘er done,” Hanks said as contestant “Doug.”
BLACK JEOPARDY VIDEO COURTESY OF NBC

Some of the skit’s “Black Jeopardy” categories included, “You Better,” “Big Girls,” and “White People.” After answering a few of the questions, Tom Hanks’ “Doug” offered that he ignores the $40 a month he’s required to put into his 401K, adding that lottery scratchers are the way to go. When there was a question about the new iPhone requiring a thumbprint “for your safety,” Doug answered correctly that it was all a con.

Another question was about the claim that “every vote counts” where Doug replied, “Come on, they’ve already decided who wins even before it happens.”

BALDWIN'S VERSION OF TRUMP - AND ITS EPIC

SNL has been promising a major portrayal of Cheeto Jesus all week. They did not disappoint.

Actor Alec Baldwin has been brought on to portray Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump until the November elections at the urging of former cast member Tina Fey, according to USA Today.
“She said, ‘You know who would be a great Trump is Alec!'” executive producer Lorne Michaels recalls. “I talked to Alec, who was finishing a movie, he was getting ready to have a baby — it couldn’t have been worse timing. But, slowly, the idea grew on me. People on the show liked it, and I thought he’d be great with Kate,” he said referencing Kate McKinnon, who plays Hillary Clinton.

VIDEO COURTESY OF NBC

Baldwin donned Don’s signature hair, pasted on some fuzzy eyebrows and pursed his lower lip and he was ready to go. Kate McKinnon came out coughing in a pantsuit and fell over doing a summersault like Willie Wonka.
“Good evening America,” Baldwin said as Trump. “I’m going to be so good tonight. I’m going to be so calm and so presidential that all of you watching are going to cream your jeans.”
At one point Baldwin refers to moderator Lester Holt as “jazz man” and perfectly pronounced China the way Trump often does. He then quickly takes credit for already winning the debate, “If Hillary knew how, she would have done it already. Period. End of story. I won the debate. I stayed calm. Just like I promised. And it is over.”

Holt then told him he couldn't leave because it was a 90-minute debate.
“My microphone is broken,” Baldwin as Trump said, looking panicked. “She broke it with Obama. She and Obama stole my microphone and took it to Kenya and they broke it and now it’s broken.”
He then starts sniffling and pretends like it’s someone else before ultimately blaming it on Clinton. “She’s been sniffling all night.”
“Secretary Clinton, what do you think about that,” Holt asks.
“I think I’m going to be president,” McKinnon said.

When given time to respond McKinnon said, “Oh, its ok, he can have mine.”

“The thing about the blacks is that they’re killing each other,” Baldwin as Trump said. He then went on to claim all of the blacks live on one street in Chicago and are shooting each other while McKinnon as Clinton stood aghast.

The Alicia Machado issue came up and Trump quickly turned his attention to calling Rosie O’Donnell names. McKinnon as Clinton began to cry because the debate was going so well.

SNL SKEWERS JOHN MILLER, ER I MEAN DONALD TRUMP

SNL's opening last night featured the frighteningly real prospect of presumptive Republican presidential nominee with John Miller [Donald Trump], portrayed by Darrell Hammond, selecting a running mate with the help of Bobby Moynihan‘s Gov. Chris Christie.

The SNL bit opened with a canny late swing at Trump’s public relations alter ego, then hit some fairly edgy notes as Moynihan pitched everyone from Carly Fiorina to a certain Floridian who crawled back into the news this week.

The pair finally settled on a pick, which you can watch below.

"GOD IS A BOOB MAN"

SNL took aim at a multitude of subjects associated with the rise of religious freedom laws that are anti-LGBT legislation in disguise, with a parody film preview of an “oppressed Christian” baker forced to not only make a cake for a same-sex couple but also to declare that “God is gay.”

In the clip — from the makers of God On The Run and Angel In Denim: The Kim Davis Story — cast member Vanessa Bayer plays a “small town baker without a care” until a same-sex couple demands she bake their wedding cake, causing her faith to be “tested.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF NBC

Despite being told by a co-worker that “gays are the most powerful force in America,” she refuses and what ensues is a court case following a meeting with a Jewish lawyer from the ACLU who tells her all her legal problems will go away if only she’ll say: “God is gay.”

While taking a shot at films like God Is Dead, the parody also hits lawmakers who set aside problems such as being “the poorest state in the country, second in childhood obesity, and third in teen pregnancy.”

SNL MOCKS CLINTON

SNL took another swipe at Hillary Clinton this week, portraying her pandering for votes in New York, taking a shot at Bernie Sanders supporter Susan Sarandon and recreating the candidate’s difficulties using a Metrocard to get on the subway.

Acknowledging her recent string of primary losses to Sanders, Clinton explains that she is happy to be back in New York — or as she calls it: “the Fat Apple.”
“God I love being back in the Fat Apple,” she explains. “My home state — except for Illinois and Arkansas — but they’ve already voted, so we cool, we cool.”
Donning a Yankees hat, she fake noshes on a New York hot dog and street vendor peanuts before flipping the hat around exposing a Mets logo, saying, “Ah. God I love those New York Meets!”

VIDEO COURTESY OF NBC

Encouraging voters to turn out for Tuesday’s primary — which is actually a week from this coming Tuesday — Clinton urges younger voters who are mainly in the Sanders camp to skip voting because, “voting is for nerds. Who cares? Just sleep in.”

Turning to vocal Sanders advocate, actress Susan Sarandon, Clinton offered an alternative suggestion for election day referencing her famous role in Thelma and Louis.
“To Susan Sarandon who said Trump might be better for America than me,” Clinton stated, “Why don’t you take Tuesday to go drive off another cliff.”

SNL’ S PERFECT PORTRAYAL OF SCOTTIE NELL HUGHES, UPSETS SCOTTIE NELL HUGHES

Make America grapes again:

Fuckface Von Cownstick supporter Scottie Nell Hughes who was portrayed as a “full-blown nutjob” on Saturday Night Live has hit back at the comedy show, calling it “the ultimate shaming” and saying they never portray conservatives in a positive light.

“FULL BLOWN NUTJOB”

Appearing on CNN Sunday morning, Hughes said she was okay with the parody of herself — if not the hairstyle — but was unhappy with the premise of the skit.
“You know, I have a great sense of humor. My mother loved it — she thought it was the funniest thing; she’s gonna watch it every morning,” Hughes said.
In the skit, Hughes is portrayed by cast member Cecily Strong, who explains, “As a woman I like Donald Trump, but as a full-blown nutjob, I friggin’ love him!”

Stating, “you’ve gotta have a sense of humor and laugh about yourself,” Hughes said — after reading headlines about her portrayal Sunday morning — she was not pleased.
“Talk about the ultimate shaming, the ultimate sexism,” she said. “What does ‘SNL’ want me to do? Be barefoot and pregnant or maybe just talk about parenting issues?”
In an interview with The Blaze, Hughes went further saying she was “shaken” by how she was portrayed and that “tears were shed.”
“You’ve never known SNL to parody any conservative in a positive way — either male or female,” she said, “I don’t get paid to be positive about Mr. Trump. I’ve never been paid by him.”
According to Hughes, she was watching the episode and her daughter who asked her, “Why do they think you’re crazy?”
“So that was hard,” she said. “I had to explain that mean people and bullying doesn’t stop in elementary school. It continues throughout your life.”

I would tell Ms. Hughes, that if it talks like a full blown nutjob, walks like a like a full blown nutjob, its a full blown nutjob..If you don't want your kid to see you portrayed as a full blown nutjob, then stop acting like one!

SNL SLAYS LATEST GOP DEBATES

SNL. blasted the GOP debates, mocking the Thursday showdown on the Fox Business channel.

Cast member Taran Killiam used his portrayal of Texas Senator Ted Cruz to mock the controversy over his citizenship status by stating that he can’t be Canadian because “Canadians are well liked — I am not.”
“Canadians are rugged and outdoorsy, whereas I am mostly made of pudding,” he continued. “Canadians are genuine and warm, whereas when I smile it looks like I am peeing.”
Pressed to explain what he meant when he attacked rival Donald Trump over his “New York values,” he gave examples that made it apparent what he was really talking about.
“I think most people know exactly what New York values are. And frankly, they are not the rest of the country’s values,” he said. “Instead of celebrating Christmas, New Yorkers celebrate a pagan holiday called ‘Festivus.’ Instead of watching American football, they challenge each other to masturbation contests. In New York people don’t say ‘hi’ to their neighbors. They say ‘Hello, Newman.’”

Told he was describing episodes of “Seinfeld,” Cruz replied: “Believe me, if I could say liberal Jews, I would.”

SNL's RUTHLESS MOCKING OF THE LATEST GOP DEBATE

NUTTER CLUB 2016

None of the nine escape mockery.

Right after the last Democratic presidential debate of 2015, SNL looked back at the last GOP debate with all nine candidates represented — but with ex-Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and former-HP CEO Carly Fiorina on the receiving end of the most brutal mockery.

Taron Killiam’s Ted Cruz was suitably smarmy, admitting that everybody –Democrats and Republicans alike — hates him because he has a “punchable face.”

Darrell Hammond’s Donald Trump was very Trump-esque, continually insulting Beck Bennett’s jittery and frantic Jeb Bush.

After a sniveling Bush complains that Trump is a bully trying to “insult his way into the White House,” Trump returns fire.
“Oh realy, jughead?’ Trump replies. “Cuz I’m at 43 and you’re at three — Jeb, you’re a nice guy, but you’re a lightweight, and I know for a fact that you pee sitting down.”
Cast member Cecily Strong turned in a brutal takedown of Fiorina, as she explained that she knows Russian strongman Valimir Putin because she once sold him an HP printer.
“I know Valdimir Putin personally,” she claimed. “I sold him an HP printer and now he hates my guts. It doesn’t work, it never worked. And when Putin calls me to complain, I just smile that classic Carly Fiorina smile,” she continued while grimacing painfully.

SNL PUNKS FAUX NEWS, BEN CARSON AND TED CRUZ

Kate McKinnon of SNL did a turn as Faux News host Greta Van Susteren attempting to interview GOP candidates Ted Cruz, Chris Christie and Ben Carson — only to be baffled and frustrated by their babbling and incoherent responses.

Castmate Taran Killam offered up a suitably smarmy Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who opened with, “Hello, Greta. A friend of mine wanted to say hello to you. I think you’ve heard of him. He’s the U.S. Constitution,” before giving her a condescending smirk.

Attempting to get Cruz to go on the record as to whether he agreed with Donald Trump’s plan to ban Muslims from entering into the U.S., Cruz offered up, “Nyes.”

“Nyes?” a puzzled Van Susteren questioned. “Is that a no or a yes?”

“Exactly,” Cruz replied — once again smirking.

VIDEO COURTESY OF NBC

Cast member Bobby Moynihan portrayed New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, saying of Trump, “Alright, look. This guy Trump is a clown, okay? He’s a total joke! The last thing anyone wants is some loudmouthed bully from the Tri-State area who hurls insults at people like a fat-headed jabroni!”

Reprising his portrayal of a somnolent Ben Carson, cast member Jay Pharoah’s Carson complained about his tumbling poll numbers after returning from the Middle East where he visited “Jordans” and met with both “Shiites and He-ites.”

As Van Susteren shook her head and protested, Carson continued, “I talked to them all about radical groups. The hummus, ISIS, Is-Is, even Al Gator.”

SNL PUNKS THE CONSERVATIVES AT THANKSGIVING

With the holidays just around the corner, the cast of Saturday Night Live has the perfect solution to ending contentious political arguments with crazy distant relatives over Thanksgiving dinner.

Called “A Thanksgiving Miracle,” the sketch parodies a holiday dinner gone wrong when one family member says, “I’m thankful our governor is keeping those refugees out,” which sets off a series of uninformed and ultimately racist comments.
“I saw an ISIS today in the A&P, when I was picking up the yams,” one woman states as her niece rolls her eyes and explains, “No you didn’t, Aunt Cathy. That was an Asian woman.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF NBC

From there it goes downhill with family bickering as Aunt Cathy asks the only black member of the dinner party, “Why is it that your ‘friends’ keep antagonizing the police?”

Having had enough, a little girl gets up from the table and goes to a boombox and introduces the one thing in the world that can bring everyone together: Adele singing “Hello.”

GUNS, WE'RE HERE TO STAY

Saturday Night Live last night punked America’s for its love affair with guns in a warm and fuzzy ad that the NRA might have produced — but without the self-awareness of how crazy it is

In the ad we see various moments in people’s lives — first love, the birth of a child, inter-generational connections — made better by the introduction of a gun.

VIDEO COURTESY OF NBC

A woman in labor refuses to go into emergency room without carrying her rifle, an intimate dinner is topped off with the gift of a gun instead of a engagement ring, a woman enjoys the exhilaration of running in the park by randomly shooting a handgun into the air.

The ad concludes with the a voice-over reminding us: “Wherever life takes you. Guns. We’re here to stay.”

Neil DeGrasse Tyson [SNL's] Explains Science to Fox & Friends

The Fox & Friends gang returned to SNL tonight to take on Obamacare. Brian Kilmeade complained, “It’s tough to sign up for things, I’ve tried for years to sign up for the NAACP!” They also found a typical American (played by host Anna Kendrick) who’s upset that President Obama promised you could keep your doctor, “but because of court order, I am not allowed within 500 yards of my doctor.”

They also took on climate change, with surprise guest Neil DeGrasse Tyson patiently explaining how science works to the confused hosts (including an especially dumbstruck Kilmeade), calmly talking about the seriousness of issues like climate change all while they laughed it off by assuring themselves that polar bears have Coke so their lives can’t possibly be that bad.

They also ran a laundry list of show corrections, including “Malaysia is not the female version of Asia” and “the periodic table is not about ‘lady stuff.’”

LUNATIC TO RUN FOR OFFICE

DIPSHIT RWNJ VICTORIA JACKSON

Victoria Jackson, who played such notable recurring SNL characters as “Jenny Baker,” a Christian girl who appears on “Church Chat” and “Nancy Maloney,” a nightclub singer for The Jungle Room, has announced she will run for a seat on a county commission outside of Nashville, Tenn.

Jackson, who calls herself a tea party conservative, filed as an Independent because she said she’s “very disappointed with the Republican Party.”

The former comedienne has recently appeared as a conservative commentator on various cable news shows. This past July, during an appearance on Fox’s The O’Reilly Factor, Jackson predicted that she’s “gonna die soon, because the first thing they do is they kill the Christians or persecute them or jail them.”

“I just can’t do it anymore; they just don’t have the values of our founding fathers anymore,” Jackson told The Tennessean of her decision to go against the GOP. “I am sure there are a few Republicans who do. I want less federal government involvement, lower taxes, smaller government, more public involvement, a balanced budget and fiscal responsibility.

In a recent interview with New York magazine, SNL producer Lorne Michaels discussed the unusual number of conservatives to come out of that show over the years, from someone like Jackson to others like Jon Lovitz and Dennis Miller. “Well, let’s put Victoria in a separate category,” Michaels said. “When she arrived here, she was married to a fire-eater. Then she married an old boyfriend who was a cop. She was always deeply Christian.”

Of course, Jackson does have some precedent when it comes to Saturday Night Live actors moving on to successful political careers, though on the other side of the aisle. Before he was Senator Al Franken (D-MN), the comedian was writing for SNL and playing characters like “Stuart Smalley” on screen.

In fact, Jackson actually appeared in a PSA against Franken during his 2008 campaign. Watch the video below, via The Young Turks:

SOMEONE CALL DARRELL ISSA, JODI ARIAS AND CLEVELAND KIDNAPPINGS ARE TO BLAME FOR BENGHAZI

This week’s Saturday Night Live opened with a news-of-the-week recap of sorts, meshing the Benghazi hearings with the Cleveland kidnappings and the Jodi Arias trial.

Mocking the GOP’s persistence of a cover-up in the Benghazi attacks, SNL held its own House Oversight Committee hearings, in which a faux-Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) doggedly pursued the truth by grilling… convicted murderer Jodi Arias. The show’s version of Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) also made an appearance — albeit with a bizarre “Rep. Peter Welch” plaque in front of him — to grill Arias.

Kenan Thompson portrayed Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) — but, like Gowdy, with an incorrect name card? — who downplayed the entire situation, and even suggested the committee consider grilling Cleveland kidnapping suspect Ariel Castro.
