LET'S NOT DRAG JESUS INTO TRUMPS GUTTER

On CNN last night, several panelists on Don Lemon’s show rolled their eyes when Trump advocate Kayliegh McEnany attempted to say that the candidate had prayed his “grabbing a woman’s p*ssy” comments away and it was time to move on.

After guest Maria Cardona pointed out that the GOP presidential nominee has yet to make an unconditional apology, McEnany took offense — then played the Jesus card.
“We can all stand here in judgment and say he didn’t apologize when in fact he did five times now, and it was heartfelt,” she frantically explained. “And Dr. Ben Carson came out today and he said, ‘I saw him pray for forgiveness before the debate.’ You have James Dobson saying he’s a recent Christian and recently accepted Christ into his life. You have Sam Clovis, his co-campaign chair, saying he’s a witness to his faith conversion. This is someone who is a changed person, and he’s apologized for it. I’m not going to stand in judgment. On the is panel, we can be self-righteous or we can forgive.”

Given a chance to respond, former Bernie Sanders campaign spokesperson Symone Sanders — who grimaced through McEnany’s ‘holier than thou spiel’ — had a few things to say.
“First of all, Donald Trump only apologized because the tape came out and people found out he was saying it,” she began. “Let’s not forget that he led with, ‘These are just words.’ Well, words have power, first of all. Secondly, these aren’t just words. He described predatory sexual behavior that women all across this county can identify with.”
“Let’s not bring Jesus down on into the gutter where Donald Trump and his thugs are,” she continued. “Let’s leave the Lord out of this one. I think Donald Trump definitely has to own up to these actions and he’s not helping himself or the party.”

CHARLES BLOW UNCORKS ON FUCKFACE VON CLOWNSTICK

Charles Blow, a New York Times columnist unloaded on Orange Hitler as an immature and dangerous man who should be too ashamed to show his face in public.
“Donald Trump is a domestic terrorist; only his form of terror doesn’t boil down to blowing things up,” Blow wrote in a column published Monday morning. “He’s the 70-year-old toddler who knows nearly nothing, hurls insults, has simplistic solutions for complex problems and is quick to throw a tantrum. Also, in case you didn’t know it, this toddler is mean to girls and is a bit of a bigot.”
Blow’s comparison echoed remarks made Sunday night by HBO’s John Oliver, who called Trump “incoherent” and compared him to a “racist toddler coming out of dental surgery.”

But the columnist went even further, attacking the Republican presidential nominee’s principles, integrity and personality.
“It isn’t so much that he is a strict disciple of radical ideology, but rather that he is devoid of fixed principles, willing to do anything and everything to gain fame, fortune and power,” Blow wrote. “He has an endless, consuming need for perpetual affirmation. This is a bully who just wants to be liked, a man-boy nursing a nagging internal emptiness.”
“He’s fickle and spoiled and rotten,” he added.
Blow catalogued some of Trump’s worst offenses from just the past week and deemed him dangerously unfit for the presidency.
“He shouldn’t be ushered into the White House; he should be laughed into hiding,” Blow wrote. “His querulous nature shouldn’t be coddled; it should be crushed.”
“America is in need of a leader, not a puerile, sophomoric sniveler who is too easily baited and grossly ill-behaved,” he added. “Go to your gilded room, Donald. The adults need to pick a president.”

LIES FOR A LIVING

Bill Maher was agog when he heard Kellyanne Conway’s reasoning on Friday for why she could never support Hillary Clinton.

Besides the fact that she is Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Conway said she “can’t support someone who lies for a living.”
“You just said you can’t support someone who ‘lies for a living,'” Maher replied. “When I read a list of provable lies.”

Earlier in the interview, Maher — drawing a line between “the scary and the false” in Trump’s campaign rhetoric — ran down some of Trump’s falsehoods.
“‘I don’t know anything about David Duke.’ Utter lie. ‘Vladimir Putin and I are best friends.’ He never met him,” said Maher. “He ‘got a letter from the NFL,’ which was proved never happened. He gave money to the veterans when he didn’t. ‘I was against the Iraq war,’ when it’s on tape that he was not.”

CIVILITY IS DEAD - RUDE LAW

Bill Maher last night called this election a "referendum on decency" and argues for a return to the days when politicians could disagree respectfully - or at least without resorting to the name-calling and slurs that are slung around in today's climate

VIDEO COURTESY OF HBO

With Fuckface Von Clownstick asking for Clinton's armed guards to be disarmed to "see what happens to her"....Maher's civility is far from a reality.

OLBERMANN POINTS TO DEPLOARBLE TRUMPANZEES

In Keith Olbermann’s Thursday edition, he names names when listing off all the ways that both Trump’s campaign and his official surrogates are truly deplorable.

Olbernamm lists off the fact that vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence can’t bring himself to describe David Duke as “deplorable”; new videos of Trump supporters punching protesters, including a 69-year-old woman who was on an oxygen tank; Trump surrogate Carl Paladino calling for the lynching of Attorney General Loretta Lynch and for smearing Khzir Khan as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood; and Trump himself making sexist remarks about Megyn Kelly, Carly Fiorina and Heidi Cruz.

Olbermann pointed out that all of these deplorable statements must be aimed at drawing the support of people who are, in all likelihood, pretty deplorable.
“These are campaign leaders, surrogates, friends of Mr. Trump,” Olbermann pointed out. “If they’re not talking to a basket full of deplorables, who are they talking to? Why would you have them there? You stuff like that at work, you get fired.”

TRUMP AND MUSLIM DATABASES....TROUBLING TIMES

DID TRUMP JUST SUGGEST THAT MUSLIM DATABASES ARE NEEDED?

Last night Rachel Maddow throttled Donald Trump and his campaign on Friday for refusing to debunk his apparent support for special “databases” and identification for US Muslims.
“Donald Trump is deep now into blaming the media for this whole scandal. Blaming the media for us reporting that he’s campaigning on the idea of watchlists and databases to register American Muslims,” she said. “And I know it’s fashionable and politically smart to blame the media, but this is important. And somebody’s gotta report this out. Somebody’s gotta do something other than standing there, agog, disbelieving that this is really the top tier of the Republican contest to try to be the next president of the United States of America.”
The real estate mogul said on Twitter that Yahoo News’ Hunter Walker introduced the notion of a Muslim database during their interview on Friday, while also endorsing the idea of a “watch list.”

But Maddow noted that Trump has never said that he would refuse to implement such a policy if elected. As NBC reported last night, he said exactly the opposite and called it “good management.”

That lack of a definitive stand has opened Trump up to criticism from not only Democrats, but fellow Republican candidates, as well as both Muslim and Jewish groups.

On Friday, the Republican front-runner called into Fox News and complained that he was actually trying to respond to another reporter, while calling for a database for Syrian refugees. Maddow also pointed out that Trump made reference to an unidentified “thing we should start thinking about.”
“What exactly is the thing we should start thinking about?” she asked. “Could you please be clear about that? In the immortal words of Justin Bieber, ‘What do you mean?'”
