"THEY'RE COMING TO CLEVELAND TO DIE"

Ben Domenech from The Federalist wasn’t accepting the spin from his fellow Republican panelists on Sunday’s “Face the Nation.” While Matt Schlapp from the American Conservative Union was insisting that new VP pick Mike Pence and presidential nominee Donald Trump were going to unite Republicans.

Schlapp explained that he has people on his board that were in the #NeverTrump category who are tempered by Trump’s pick for VP. “I have anecdotal evidence that this is happening across the country,” he swore.

Domenech, however, laid down the hard truth.
“The Pence pick does not change the fact that the Republican Party is now the party of Donald Trump,” he said, while Schlapp insisted he was wrong.
“A hundred and fifty years ago this party was begun by Abraham Lincoln on the idea that Constitutional rights were not bound by race or creed. That the American eagle’s wings were broad enough to accept all that would come here. Now, this party is coming to Cleveland to die,” Domenech continued.
“This is not the party of Abraham Lincoln anymore. It is the party of Donald Trump. It has traded statesmanship for xenophobia,” he said alluding to Trump’s ban on Muslims. “It has traded free markets for protectionism. It has traded the higher principles of our better angels for the belief in party identity politics. That is why they are getting zero percent of the black vote in Pennsylvania. That is why you’re going to continue to see this kind of race-baiting approach to politics. I think it’s completely true that this is the end of the party of Lincoln.”

Schlapp broke in, insisting that the kind of words Domenech was spreading were what you’re hearing out of the Washington, DC Beltway elite, despite the fact that Trump just nominated Pence, a member of the Beltway elite, who was supported by the Beltway elite. “They love their country and they simply want to take it back,” he concluded from the record number of supporters that voted for Trump.
“They are desperate for change,” Domenech agreed. “They are desperate for something different than what the elites who have failed them for far too long. But they have turned in their desperation to a man who they don’t fully understand and who’s not going to deliver on his promises.”

MAHER - HANDLER UNLOAD ON TRUMP KIDS

Fuckface Von Clownstick has been notorious throughout his career for making crude assessments of women based on their appearances — recall him saying that no one would vote for Carly Fiorina because of the way her face looked.

Netflix talk show host Chelsea Handler this week decided to hit back at Trump by giving him some of his own medicine, although she directed it at his son Eric.

During Thursday’s show, Handler talked with Bill Maher about the role that Trump’s children are playing in his campaign. Maher said that he was uncomfortable having the entire Trump family being so deeply involved in his presidential campaign.
“It’s very ‘Banana Republic’ to involve your children to that degree,” Maher said. “I mean, that’s what Saddam Hussein did.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF NETFLIX

When the time came to discuss Trump’s son Eric — whom Maher referred to as “Douchebag Von Fuckface Trump” — Handler made crude remarks about his physical appearance.
“He’s the worst-looking person ever,” she said. “I mean that face is just so unfuckable.”
Maher didn’t comment on his appearance, but he did say Eric was “a horrible person” since he’s also “the one who shoots lions in Africa.”

25 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ORANGE HITLER (TRUMP)

Bill Maher last night gave us another round of 25 things voters might not know about Orange Hitler .
“Sometimes, late at night, I worry that my obsessive self-aggrandizement and self-promotion are symptoms of inner weakness and a transparent, childish impulse that everyone can see,” Maher said, speaking as Trump. “I worry they’re laughing at how obvious it is that I’m an abandoned, frightened child swirling in my black emptiness. But then I tweet shit about my poll numbers and I feel better.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF HBO

Maher also didn't pass up the chance to bring back his running joke about Trump’s supposedly-simian background, as “fact” no. 9 stated that Trump “I can peel a banana with my feet.”

ROLLINS PUMMELS MEDIA FOR GIULIANI’S ASSHAT COMMENTS

Henry Rollins took on the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile in his latest column for L.A. Weekly. Rollins also excoriated news outlets for going to former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani for analysis.
“The despicable litanies of willfully ignorant denial and misinformation I have heard spouted in the last several days by pieces of shit like Rudy Giuliani all but ensure that things will get worse,” Rollins wrote.
Giuliani appeared on several news shows following both the shootings and the demonstrations they sparked, arguing that black parents should teach their children to fear other members of their communities instead of police, and saying, “I saved a lot more black lives than Black Lives Matter.”
“The mainstream media outlets allow this utter crap to slide by unchallenged and, by doing so, legitimize falsehoods that could get people killed,” the former Black Flag lead singer said in response. “Ratings-based, 24/7, for-profit media is the complete death of true journalism and a catapult for propaganda.”
But in contrast to Giuliani’s rhetoric, Rollins also addressed white privilege in his column, saying that if white Americans “would immediately and collectively lose their minds” if they had to deal with even a fraction of the experiences black Americans go through in connection with the justice system.
“I’m an educated, Caucasian, heterosexual male. Does this ensure I will have success and live the American Dream? Obviously it doesn’t,” he wrote. “But it damn sure drops me on second base with a great opportunity to steal third.”

GIULIANI GETS SCHOOLED BY D.L. HUGHLEY

D. L. Hughley fired back at Rudy Giuliani on Wednesday after the former New York mayor claimed that Black Lives Matter was “inherently racist” and was “quickly becoming a terrorist group.”“You cannot tell me ‘all lives matter’ when some are treated distinctly different,” Hughley explained to CNN’s Chris Cuomo. “I can mourn for police officers that are slain and I can mourn for two young black men that were slain. I don’t have a moral dilemma in that.”
“I think that ‘all lives matter’ is a perversion of what makes Black Lives Matter special,” Cuomo agreed. “There is an obvious inequity.”
“Police officers have fears and biases,” Hughley explained. “But if your fears and biases get me killed, and my anger and frustration get you killed — act human, we are no more or no less human. Every time you turn around, somebody is making a moral reason why somebody was slain in the streets and it’s an aberrant behavior, and it would be aberrant if I said a young black man slaughtered five police officer or you see five police officers slay black men.”
“When Rudy Giuliani says that Black Live Matter are terrorists,” he continued, “let me tell you something, I don’t think all black people or all white people are all anything. But to be castigated with the same brush that they did [Dallas shooter] Micah Johnson would be the equivalent of me telling you all white people think like [Charleston church shooter] Dylann Roof. And that would be deeply offensive.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF CNN

According to Hughley, some in the media had failed to challenge Giuliani “because a lot of people want that narrative because it edifies their perspective.”
“Do you think he was trying to make a more innocuous point, have a love of humanity?” Cuomo wondered.
“I think there was nothing loving about that situation,” Hughley insisted. “I think he was brutal mayor who basically had a reign of terror of black people in this country — in this city. To me, taking advice from Rudy Giuliani is like Kim Kardashian giving me marriage advice. It is ridiculous.”
“It is ridiculous when you have a person who has set up some of the most heinous thing that have happened to black people in this country, and to say something like that every time somebody says something about injustice, they are the terrorists,” the comedian opined. “MLK would be considered a terrorist, Gandhi was a terrorist, Mandela was a terrorist. And all they were trying to do was fight for justice.”

"And to me, when old white men tell black men how to act, that’s the most ridiculous thing in the world. To tell black people to speak a certain way and to act a certain way is no different from telling a woman how to dress so she doesn’t get raped.”

Rudy Giuliani, congrats, you are today's worst person in the world. Enjoy numbnuts!

VICENTE FOX TELLS TRUMP – “USE YOUR MIND IF YOU HAVE ONE”

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox has made it no secret about his disdain for Fuckface Von Clownstick. In several YouTube videos, Fox has gone from disgust and contempt to logically refuting everything Trump has said on the stump, even challenging him to debate.

Tuesday, however, Netflix host Chelsea Handler asked him for an update on his seething hatred of the man who could become president of the United States.
“What he has proposed and the way he offends,” Fox said trailing off a little. “It’s incredible.”
Fox continued that he can’t believe that Trump is actually close to occupying the same chair as some of the greatest leaders the country has ever had.
“It’s incredible that this guy with the crazy hair could be sitting in that chair,” Fox continued. “And, I mean, talking about building a wall. The wall is built already and Americans paid for it. It has served no purpose at all.”
Fox instead encourages “other ways and means to use your mind, if [Trump] has one. You can use your intelligence, if he has one, and go a different route.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF NETFLIX

While president, Fox said that he received visits from Sen. John McCain and the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, who worked with him on a bill for immigration reform for a week.
“It’s been sitting in Congress now for 10 years,” Fox said of the legislation that most believe will never pass the GOP-led House and Senate. “That bill has the solution to this problem, because I’m not for open borders, I think borders should have order.”
But order, Fox says, is not what Trump is proposing.

CLOWNSTICK MOUTHPIECE GETS SLAMMED YET AGAIN

Guess who doesn’t have a clue when it comes to speaking on moral authority - or is even more clueless when it comes to lecturing black people about their lack of leadership in their own community?

Fuckface Von Clownstick mouthpiece Katrina Pierson

In an appearance on CNN Monday, Clownstick’s mouthpiece said that the current tensions between police and the black community represented a lack of leadership, from President Obama down to the black communities themselves.
“These are actually symptoms of a much greater problem, which is a severe lack of leadership, not just in this country but in the black community,” Pierson said. “This has stemmed from irresponsibility at the executive level. You have a first black president who injects himself in local issues, particularly when it comes to police, and now we have this problem.”
CNN contributor Bakari Sellers didn’t waste any time dropping the hammer on Pierson.

VIDEO COURTESY OF CNN

“I don’t really have any idea what Ms. Pierson’s talking about,” Sellers said. “To say that we don’t have any leadership in the African-American community or to say that we’re just some community walking around aimlessly trying to find or look for some Messiah, it’s just not the case.”

Later in the segment, Sellers said he couldn’t “let Katrina’s statements, which were borderline asinine, go unchecked.”

Pierson is an embarrassment to the human race every time she gets on CNN. Popcorn anyone?

Under Obama, Police Have Never Been Safer. Huh, Who Knew?

Following the shooting of police officers in Dallas this week, conservatives raced to Twitter to blame President Barack Obama, but the data doesn’t support their complaints.
Former Rep. Joe Walsh tweeted, “Obama’s words & [Black Lives Matter]’s deeds have gotten cops killed.” Rep. Steve King claimed the shooting had “roots” in the “anti-white/cop events illuminated by Obama.”
But according to an analysis by the Chicago Tribune, blaming Obama or Black Live Matter activists, who began protesting shootings by police following the death of Michael Brown, isn’t supported by any of the data available. In fact, their claims are outright false.

The Officers Down Memorial Page paints a different picture than conservatives would have the public believe. The site tracks law enforcement officers murdered in the line of duty in real time and shows an average of 101 police officers deliberately killed each year under the Reagan administration. Under George H.W. Bush that number fell to 90, to 81 under Clinton and 72 deaths per year under George W. Bush.

As for the Obama administration, that number has continued to drop. The average number of police murdered during his presidency has fallen to an average 62 deaths each year through 2015. Looking at projections for 2016, that number stays the same.

There are so few officers being killed intentionally that just the Dallas shootings skew the data showing a 44 percent increase. Without the murders this week, the year-over-year rise would only have been 17 percent.

This isn’t about better medical care and quicker response time either. Under Obama’s administration, assaults on police officers have dropped as well. The FBI reports that in 1988, the final year of the Reagan administration, police had 15.9 assaults per every 100 law enforcement officers. However, at the end of the Clinton administration in 2000, that number dropped to 12.7 assaults for every 100 officers. Under the Bush administration, it fell again 11.3. The trend has continued under Obama’s administration. The most recent data from the FBI shows that in 2014 it decreased to 9.0.

Facts, they always ruin the narrative of the ignorant!

USN REFUTES SNIPER CHRIS KYLE MEDAL ACCOUNT

Responding to reports that famed “American Sniper” Chris Kyle embellished his war record with claims of medals he never received, the US Navy has released his records showing he overstated his valor awards in his best-selling book.

In an unusual move, the Navy released the late Navy Seal’s discharge paperwork showing a discrepancy between what he stated in the book — which went on to become a box office smash — and what he was actually awarded, reports USAToday,

According to the Navy, no records were found for two of six Bronze Stars with combat ‘V’ and the second Silver Star, two of which he had said he received. The Navy did state that famed sniper had earned a single Silver Star and four Bronze Stars during his ten years of service.
“After thoroughly reviewing all available records, the Navy determined an error was made in the issuance of Chief Petty Officer Chris Kyle’s form DD214,” Ensign Marc Rockwellpate, a Navy spokesman, said in a statement. “Specifically, the DD 214 did not accurately reflect the decorations and awards to which Kyle was officially entitled. After notifying his family of the error, the Navy issued a corrected copy of the DD 214, which accurately reflects Kyle’s years of honorable and extraordinary Navy service.”
Kyle never corrected the official record, which has cast a shadow over other claims made in his book.

Previously, Kyle was sued for defamation — and lost — after claiming he punched former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura, with a jury awarding Ventura $1.8 million.

Additionally questions were raised after Kyle claimed he shot dozens of looters in New Orleans in the chaos that followed Hurricane Katrina.

According to the Navy, the second Silver Star would have made Kyle one of the most decorated service members in the post-9/11 era.

Kyle died in 2013 while mentoring a troubled veteran at a shooting range.

This embellishment tarnishes the credibility of Kyle. He was already a hero, why lie? Now every word we hear about the sniper will carry an asterisk with it, What a shame.

YES, HE ACTUALLY SAID THAT

The Lt. Governor of Texas ripped into Black Lives Matter protestors as “hypocrites” for fleeing as the bullets flew Thursday night, killing five police officers.

While Dallas police expressed no animosity towards the attendees at the peaceful protest, with some posing for photos with protesters, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick attempted to rile up viewers at a time when Dallas Police Chief Dave Brown and Mayor Mike Rawlings had successfully called for calm and healing.

Patrick acknowledged that the protest was peaceful before launching into a rant, claiming:
“All these officers last night lost their lives protecting people who were protesting against them. This has to end.”
VIDEO COURTESY OF CNN

The lawmaker went on to claim that “Too many in the general public, who aren’t criminals but have a big mouth are creating situations like we saw last night.”
“We have to have their police back,” Patrick exclaimed. “And I’m sick and tired of those who are protesting our police and putting their lives in danger,” before adding, “All those protesters last night, they turned around and ran the other way expecting the men and women in blue to protect them. What hypocrites!”
Congratulations Dan Patrick, you are today's most disgusting human of the world, enjoy asshat!

ERIC TRUMP, CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK

GOP candidate Donald Trump may keep his cabinet “all in the family,” so to speak, with his son Eric Trump vouching for sister Ivanka as vice president on Thursday, according to Politico.

The Trump scion appeared on Thursday morning’s edition of “Fox & Friends,” telling host Steve Doocy, “She’s got the beautiful looks, right? She’s got — she’s smart, she’s smart, smart, smart. … She’s certainly got my vote.”

NOTE: Donald Trump has been mocked severely for raving about his daughter’s beauty and even saying he would date her if they weren’t related.
Doocy wanted to know if Ivanka Trump would be 35 years in age, the cut-off to legally serve as vice president.
“She’ll just be 35,” Eric Trump responded, and said her 35th birthday is Oct. 30, “so she’d just makes that by about by, you know, seven, eight days.”

Host Ainsley Earhardt said Ivanka Trump has the “business sense” for the position, to which her brother responded, “She’s amazing.

The younger Trump also responded to criticism that his father is anti-Semitic after a storm of controversy erupted over the weekend surrounding his tweet that showed a Star of David with a backdrop of $100 bills, calling his rival Hillary Clinton corrupt.
“You know, it’s interesting. My sister is Jewish,” Trump said. Ivanka converted to Judaism for her marriage to Jared Kushner. “My brother-in-law is Jewish. We hire more Jewish people in our organization than anybody. I mean, half of our organization is Jewish. I hear these claims, and it is so ridiculous, and it is really the worst part of politics.”

CNN SUPPOSEDLY HIRES FULL BLOWN NUT JOB

In a bizarre video clip posted to Twitter - and then taken down - a Trump nutter primarily known for being parodied on Saturday Night Live as a “full-blown nut-job” announced that CNN has hired her as a “contributor.”

Scottie Nell Hughes, most recently seen being smacked down on CNN on Monday while attempting to defend Donald Trump’s ant-Semitic tweet, tweeted out her own announcement Tuesday afternoon stating: “YUGE anncm 4 me today as 25yrs of hard work & study paid off! It all started w/ @piersmorgan @CNN #CNN #honored

The hiring of Hughes seems “plausible” after CNN’s recent hire of former Trump campaign manager and Breitbart bully Corey Lewandowski despite his non-disclosure agreement after being fired by the presumptive GOP presidential nominee.

There was no mention of the Hughes hiring by CNN, nor anything tweeted by CNN media analyst Brian Stelter, but that hasn’t stopped her from retweeting congratulations from her fans before yanking the tweet for unexplained reasons.

Hughes is a well known hardcore wing nut to CNN audiences known for her ignorant; yet fact less analysis of stupid shit that Fuckface Von Clownstick does or says.

SCOTTIE NELL HUGHES AMPS UP HER IGNORANCE

Trump nutter Scottie Nell Hughes ran into a bit of a problem when she attempted to dismiss Donald Trump’s anti-Semitic tweet as something someone else created and therefore not worthy of discussion.

Asked by host Carol Costello “Why it is important for Mr. Trump to explain why he tweeted or retweeted this image?” CNN political analyst Errol Lewis corrected the record and launched into a diatribe against the Trump campaign.
“It wasn’t a retweet, he tweeted it. it was under his account and it’s important because the imagery is unquestionably anti-Semitic, and I understand why Trump’s people are embarrassed and might want to change the subject, but this is not a subject that you do that with,” he explained.
“This is something that is of great importance to a great many people including people who are not Jewish and for Donald Trump to act as if this is just some concoction, ‘Oh, he has no idea’ and he won’t explain and he won’t apologize, and given the string of other incidents that you talked about,” Lewis continued. “I think everybody, everybody who’s not a complete partisan understands exactly what his campaign is doing. They understand that it is deliberate. They understand that they’re playing footsie with some very dangerous radical, disgusting elements of this country and that they hope to ride in the White House based on that support, and it’s disgraceful.”

Hughes attempted deflect blame for the tweet on “someone who posted the image back on June 15th,” completely ignoring the fact that Trump posted it on his own Twitter account over the weekend. After Hughes stated that no one can “responsibly say” that Trump is responsible for the image posted on his Twitter account, Lewis struck back.
“Donald Trump, we know from past behavior, is not going to explain unless a lot of pressure is put on him,” Lewis shot back. “And I think the followers who are trying to explain this foolishness should be ashamed of themselves. I mean, it’s not worth winning a Twitter war, it’s not worth winning a news-cycle. It’s not worth winning an election over.”
Scottie Nell Hughes, you are today’s worst person in the world.

SEATTLE POLICE DO THE RIGHT THING

As Congress drags its feet on implementing gun safety laws, one city is taking its own steps to reduce gun violence. This week, Seattle announced that its police department would no longer sell the extra guns it has on hand, which generally brings in $30,000 revenue, annually. Instead, officers will destroy their firearms so that they don’t fall into the wrong hands.

Last Monday, the City Council unanimously voted in favor of a resolution to change the Seattle Police Department’s (SPD) current protocol for purging unused firearms. On average, SPD has 100 extra guns every year, which they sell back to manufacturers. In the past, those guns have landed in civilian hands, and in February, two officers fatally shot a man who was in possession of a gun previously registered to one of their colleagues.

In an attempt to minimize future gun violence, the City Council chose to have SPD melt down its firearms — a move that a department representative later endorsed. Shortly before the decision was made, council members were supposed to vote on a resolution that would only allow SPD to sell unused firearms to other law enforcement officials. Councilman Tim Burgess amended the legislation to ban sell backs altogether, but the idea was originally introduced by Mayor Ed Murray and Councillwoman Sally Bagshaw.

How do we reduce the number of guns when Congress won’t act?
“You know what costs this city? Is violence. Is gun violence. Is crimes involving guns,” Murray said, following the council vote. “So, gun(s) and gun violence is a huge problem for every city in America and mayors around the country are struggling with what I’m struggling with: How do we reduce the number of guns when Congress won’t act? When state legislatures often don’t act?”
That vast majority of Americans support gun control in the form of expanded background checks, but Congress has yet to pass a new gun safety measure that could prevent mass shootings from happening. Meanwhile, thousands of of people are killed by firearms each year. Military-grade assault rifles that have caused some of the deadliest shootings in U.S. history — Orlando, Sandy Hook, San Bernardino, Virginia Tech — are still on the market.

Gun safety measures have had more luck at the state level, but most states that have passed gun laws this year have actually loosened firearm restrictions.

On Thursday afternoon, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan agreed to hold a vote on a gun bill to prevent terrorists from getting their hands on deadly firearms. The decision was made a week after 170 Democrats, led by Rep. John Lewis (R-AL) staged a sit-in on the House floor.

"They say the definition of insanity is trying the same failed things over and over again expecting different results, but is this not the actual definition of a conservatives" Maher asked?
Maher made this case [a great one] if Republicans are going to call states the "laboratories of democracy," they first have to stop replicating failed economic experiments.

Maher, went on to say that Liberal rule, when left to run its coarse, does much better than the failed Dick trickle down economics, saying, "scoreboard bitches".

Maher's New Rules is spot on, just another in many debunking the ideology of a party so archaic that when it farts, instead of gas, its dust.

YET ANOTHER TRUMP MOUTH PEICE - KAYLEIGH MCENANY IS A SPECIAL KIND OF STUPID

Fuckface Von Clownstick nutter Kayleigh McEnany suggested on Thursday that the recent terrorist attacks in Orlando and San Bernardino could have been prevent if the Obama administration had been willing to use waterboarding and put “someone in a bit of discomfort to extract information.”

On CNN’s New Day, McEnany was asked to explain Trump’s call to “bring back waterboarding” and “a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding.”
“I think that’s all consistent,” McEnany replied. “He’s talking about expanding the law the same way the Bush administration did to use this only when needed in very limited circumstances to get information from detainees.”
CNN host Alisyn Camerota and guest Ali Velshi both pointed out that waterboarding had been proven to produce unreliable information.
“I mean this is the point is that it’s actually not, what the FBI director has said, Robert Mueller, is that it actually has not been effective,” Camerota recalled. “Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was waterboarded 183 times and gave erroneous information.”
“I think the point is that what Donald Trump is talking about is punitive. He’s talking about it as punishment,” the CNN host added. “They behead us, we should waterboard them, but not talking about whether it’s effective for actual intelligence.”
McEnany disagreed: “But I’m not sure that it’s punitive so much as saying that we need to be strong.”

“The fact that in this country we’re not willing to put someone in some form of discomfort, be it sleep deprivation, which many argue is what broke KSM,” she said. “We are trying to thwart terrorist attacks. We don’t want 49 to die in Orlando. We don’t want 14 to die in San Bernardino.”
“If it means putting someone in a bit of discomfort to extract information, I think most of the nation would say that’s OK within the bounds of the law,” McEnany concluded.

To those who either think waterboarding doesn't hurt or is not torture, let me try it on you and then let's see if your moronic opinion changes.

Congratulations Kayleigh McEnany, you are today's dumbass ass and asshat of the week. Enjoy your accolades Einstein!

IS PAUL LEPAGE A BIGGER DOUCHE THAN TRUMP?

Donald Trump thinks of Maine Gov. Paul LePage as being “well-respected,” Rachel Maddow said on Wednesday, that should be taken with a grain of salt.

As proof, she produced evidence that nearly 2,000 Mainers called LePage’s bluff after he said last summer that instead of being impeached, he would just resign if residents said that’s what they wanted — and that was just within a month.
“You have requested the opinion of the Maine people in regards to you resigning as the governor of the state,” one message stated. “My opinion is a very strong YES. Thank you for allowing me to express my choice.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF MSNBC

Maddow said that the 1,800 or so messages she produced — many of them stacked on her desk — covered just the first 30 days after LePage’s remark last August. It took the governor’s office nearly nine months to even provide that much in response to a Freedom Of Information Act request for all of the messages telling him to quit during that time.
“Thank you, Freedom Of Information Act,” Maddow said as she grabbed one batch of messages. “Thank you, people of Maine for being polite and mostly not obscene in your epic tide of instant disapproval that you expressed directly to your governor when he asked you what you thought.”

THE BEGHAZI HOAX, THE GOP BULLSHIT CONSPIRACY THEORY GOES DOWN IN FLAMES

To the surprise of no one, the Republicans’ four-year partisan inquisition surrounding the terrorist attack on the American compound in Benghazi, Libya - the conspiracy theory has ended in a crash and burn catastrophe . With the House Select Committee on Benghazi finally releasing its findings, and the report representing the eighth and (likely) final government investigation into the deadly event, the Benghazi hoax, as sponsored by Fox News for four years, finally comes to an impotent and ignominious end.

This latest report has provided nothing, a total of 15 million dollars of tax payers dollars wasted on a witch-hunt - which was to derail a Clinton bid for presidency.

BENGHAZI, THE SCANDAL THAT WASN'T

So if Benghazi wasn't used as an election year theatrics against the Democrats, what has been the point of committee chairman Trey Gowdy’s lame assed extended inquiry?

Anybody with an IQ above -500 realized that the final GOP Benghazi report, with its 2016 summertime release, was designed to disrupt Clinton’s White House run. Why else would the committee’s work be extended for two-plus years when it likely could have been completed in six or seven months?

RELATED LINK:

http://benghazihoax.com/

I find this witch hunt both putrid and disgusting! It is what we have become to know of the Republcian; a shit stain in your underwear that never goes away.

The whole fiasco, partisan in nature, shines a light on what’s completely fucked-up with the Republican Party and the right-wing media. It’s about how shallow, endlessly debunked conspiracies and money-sucking investigations have replaced any attempt to to be honest Americans who's job is to govern and legislate.

Rapscallions, each and every one of them! Nothing is beyond the pale of a conservative, nothing.

BEE SAYS TRUMP MUST LOSE - BY A LANDSLIDE

Britain showed us what happens when you never think that the right wing nutters vote for something will actually win. Samantha Bee’s “Full Frontal” began with clips of interviews of people saying that they wish that hadn’t voted to leave and that they never thought it would happen. Now they are being forced with the harsh reality of an election.
“Look, your vote has consequences,” Bee explained. “You want to send a message? Use the Royal Mail, it still works! For now.”
Hopefully, however, America was looking at Great Britain and saying, “Oh God, what are we about to do?” Bee said, showing Trump at his golf course in Scotland. Clips of Trump telling the media that the European Union vote was great were only barely drown out by the bagpipes behind him. So much so that Bee couldn't decide which of the loud windbags was more painful to listen to.

The reality is, Brexit was solidified because pasty white uneducated bitter troglodytes went out and voted, leaving those who though that Brexit referendum would never come to fruition - left them holding the shit bag wanting a do-over.

BEE VIDEO TWO COURTESY OF TBS

Bee reminded the audience that we could still screw everything up if we forget to vote. But there is hope. “Trump’s brand of right-wing, racist, anti-immigrant demagoguery isn't American. It’s a European import. And if we’re smart, we’ll stop it at the border and send it back where it came from,” she closed.

CAUTION AMERICA, LEARN FROM BREXIT, " THERE IS NO FUCKING DO-OVER

After using last week’s episode of Last Week Tonight to urge British voters to reject Brexit, — which will lead the U.K. to abandon the European Union — host John Oliver looked at the disastrous passage and aftermath in an effort to school Americans about the consequences of a Trump presidency.

Noting the massive disruption to the British economy, Oliver took a step back to the evening of the referendum to show that many U.K. voters had no idea what they were voting on — and had buyer’s remorse the following day.
“Basically, it seems like whoever the next U.K. prime minister is going to be, whether it’s [former London mayor] Boris Johnson or a racist tea kettle, they are going to be in for a rough few years, because once they invoke what’s known as Article 50, they’ll have just two years to negotiate their withdrawal and future relationship with the EU,” explained Oliver. “On top of which, they’ll have to settle outstanding bills with the EU, hammer out new trade bills with dozens of countries, sift through thousands of EU regulations and decide which ones to keep, and figure out how migration will work—and all the while, lives hang in the balance.”

Oliver hammered UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage, and Johnson (“a shaved orangutan with Owen Wilson’s hair”), both of whom promoted the passage of the referendum with both also declaring its passage, “Independence day.”
“First, Britain was already independent. In fact, it’s what many other countries celebrate their independence from,” Oliver said. “And second, the sequel to the movie they’re quoting [Independence Day: Resurgence] actually opened this week and features the wholesale destruction of London – which is beginning to feel pretty fucking appropriate now.

He then compared both British leaders to Donald Trump, noting their similarities for lying, bombast and nativism.

Pointing out that Trump lauded the Brexit vote by tweeting, “Many people are equating BREXIT, and what is going on in Great Britain, with what is happening in the U.S. People want their country back!” Oliver provided a more apt comparison.

“He found a way to make this whole thing about himself,” Oliver exclaimed. “You might think, ‘Well that is not going to happen to us in America. We’re not going to listen to some ridiculously haired buffoon, peddling lies and nativism in the hopes of riding a protest vote into power.’ Well let Britain tell you, it can happen, and when it does, there are no fucking do-overs.”

CNN TAKES NEW LOW ROAD TO HIRE TRIMP BULLY LEWANDOWSKI

CNN hires commentators with a variety political viewpoints and affiliations. Some are Democratic and Republican operatives. Some have previously worked with candidates running for President or other offices.

In that sense, the announcement that Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, would be joining CNN as a paid contributor is par for the course. Lewandowski was fired from the Trump campaign on Monday.

But there is one aspect of Lewandowski’s hiring that is highly unusual. Lewandowski is not only a Trump loyalist but legally prohibited from criticizing Trump, his family, or any of his businesses.

We know for sure that Lewandowski signed a non-disclosure agreement, prohibiting him from talking about the work he did with Trump.

We also know that the standard agreement that all volunteers with the Trump campaign are required to sign included a non-disparagement agreement. The Daily Dot reported that in March. Here is the key section:

No Disparagement. During the term of your service and at all times thereafter you hereby promise and agree not to demean or disparage publicly the Company, Mr. Trump, any Trump Company, any Family Member, or any Family Member Company or any asset any of the foregoing own, or product or service any of the foregoing offer, in each case by or in any of the Restricted Means and Contexts and to prevent your employees from doing so.

Note that the standard non-disparagement agreement does not terminate when the person is no longer work for the campaign — it extends in perpetuity.

The Associated Press reported Tuesday that nearly all employees, including Lewandowski, signed agreements prohibiting them from criticizing Trump.

CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny reported earlier this week that “anyone who works for the Trump campaign signs a nondisclosure agreement, so he cannot disparage or anything like that at all.”

Asked repeatedly earlier this week whether he signed a non-disparagement agreement with Trump, Lewandowski refused to answer.

His early interviews, however, do not suggest that he is free to criticize Trump. In his first interview after being fired (coincidentally or not, with CNN) he repeatedly passed on any opportunity to criticize Trump or his campaign.

DEMS HOUSE SIT-IN

House Democrats shouted over Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) late Tuesday night as he attempted to reconvene the chamber following their sit-in protest.

Ryan returned to the chamber just after 10 p.m. EST, at which point C-SPAN resumed its broadcast. Its cameras were shut down earlier in the day, forcing Rep. Scott Peters (D-CA) and others to use the Periscope online app to broadcast speeches from Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) and several others.

The protest called for an expansion of background checks on gun sales, as well as a move to ban people on the terrorist watch list and government “no fly” list from being able to buy firearms. Critics have argued that the latter proposal would only enable further racial profiling against Arab-Americans.

"IT'S RARE THAT YOU SEE SOMEONE GET STUPIDER BEFORE YOUR EYES"

Billionaire businessman Mark Cuban was once friends with GOP candidate Donald Trump. But that relationship seems to have gone south in the course of Trump’s bid for president.

Recently, Dallas Mavericks owner and “Shark Tank” star Cuban was asked by Extra to weigh in on Trump — and his response was not flattering.
“You know what? It’s rare that you see someone get stupider before your eyes, but he’s really working at it,'” Cuban said. “You have to give him credit. It’s a difficult thing to do, but he’s accomplished it.”
Cuban also revealed he hasn’t talked to Trump in weeks.

“He sent me an email when I started picking on him,” Cuban said. “What happened was I really didn’t like Ted Cruz, so I started helping Donald, tried to encourage him, ’cause I thought he’d be, and to this day thought he’d be a better candidate than Ted Cruz… But at some point, you’ve got to start learning and understanding the issues, you know? Donald has been at this a year but you don’t look at him and say, ‘Wow, he’s gotten so much smarter on this topic or that topic.’ In fact, you look at him and say, ‘What the hell are you talking about?’ That’s not good for America.”

Cuban challenged Extra host Renee Bargh to name one good deal Trump has done.

“I can’t,” she said.
“Neither can he,” Cuban shot back, adding, “He’d get kicked out of ‘Shark Tank’ so fast, it would make your head spin.”

"DIXIECRATS", A CURRENT LOOK AT THE GOP IN JUST TWO MINUTES

Samantha Bee revisited the GOP’s approach to racial politics on Monday, arguing that Donald Trump isn’t bringing anything new, despite what he claims.
“Trump isn’t desecrating the Republican Party,” she explained. “He’s just peeling back the glossy exterior to reveal the hideous symbiont that’s been lurking there for decades.”
As Richard Nixon embraced the “Southern Strategy,” Bee said, Republicans became a home for “Dixiecrats” who felt displaced after the signing of both the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act.
“I am not saying all racists are Republican or that all Republicans are racists,” she added for clarification. “They are absolutely not. I am saying that for half a century, the GOP, in order to win elections, has relied on an uneasy coalition of two opposing interests.”

It’s a gun issue Stupid…

So it hit me around 3 pm last Sunday that Omar Mateen, American citizen by birth, 24 hours earlier represented exactly what the NRA is trying to protect - an natural born American citizens right to own a gun to protect and serve himself and/or the public. This was a man who was licensed to be a security officer. Who was presumably vetted multiple times, and continuously evaluated for mental stability as an officer licensed to carry a weapon. That is until the moment he snapped. The concept of a good guy with a gun is a fleeting one. This whack-job proves it.

That does NOT mean all of you gun toters are, nor does it mean you'll snap one day too. It is a reflection on why I find the concept “the good guy with a gun” so laughable. Not everyone with a gun is good, not everyone without a gun is a wimp or victim in waiting.

When the second amendment was conceived both the government of Great Britain and the citizens of the colonies had weapons that were similar. That could be repeatedly fired only as fast as they could pull a trigger. Bambie may be fast, but shooting her at 700 rounds per minute doesn't strike me as sport, nor will it leaving you with much to mount in way of a trophy. Swiss cheese venison anyone?

Face it. With that crows its the bigger the boom, the bigger the giggle.

Everyone seems to be wringing their hands over the terror plot the FBI missed. Did they?

The FBI investigated an American-born citizen who had committed no crime. Who showed a propensity for anger and aggressive behavior –like many a tea bagger I might add. Regardless, that is not criminal!

What would you have them do? Maybe if they put him on a watch list and prevented him from buying guns! Hey, what would the NRA say about that - An American-born citizen accused of being angry, who committed no crime, denied the right to buy a gun.!

Then the discussion becomes a Second Amendment issue. And this was my point. Common Sense dictates we should have placed this clown on a no buy list. Its time we start being really “well regulated”.

ANDERSON COOPER IS ALL OVER PAM BONDI

While stressing that he does not like becoming part of his own stories, CNN host Anderson Cooper rebuked Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday night after she accused him of misrepresenting their interview a day earlier, the Daily Beast reported.
“Let’s be real here,” said Cooper. “Ms. Bondi’s big complaint seems to be that I asked in the wake of a massacre of gay and lesbian citizens about her new statements about the gay community and about her old ones.”
The 360 host grilled Bonding on Tuesday over her attempt to portray herself as an ally to LGBT communities given her past policies.
“You said in court that gay people, simply by fighting for marriage equality, were trying to do harm to the people of Florida,” he said at the time. “Do you really think you’re a champion of the gay community?”
Bondi subsequently complained that a clip of the interview posted online did not show them discussing possible charity scams against people looking to donate in service of victims of the mass shooting against an Orlando LGBT nightclub over the weekend.

VIDEO COURTESY OF CNN

Instead, she said, Cooper was out to “encourage anger and hate.”

Cooper responded by noted that besides airing the interview live, CNN posted it online in its entirety, and that Bondi was “either mistaken or not telling the truth.”
“The fact is that Attorney General Bondi signed off on a 2014 federal court brief that claimed married gay people would ‘impose significant public harm,'” he said. “Ms. Bondi is championing efforts to help survivors, but the very right that allows gay spouses to bury their loved ones. That’s a right that wouldn’t exist if she had her way. I think it is fair to ask about that.”
Bondi also claimed during the interview that her website featured “different-colored, rainbow-hands people.” That claim was inaccurate.
