REALITY CHECK

MSNBC's All In with Chris Hayes eviscerates Bill O'Reilly. While I am not the biggest fan of the show - with this one segment it would seem, that Hayes is finally starting to come into his own.

On Monday night, O’Reilly Factor host Bill O’Reilly delivered a lengthy critique of President Obama’s remarks about the death of Trayvon Martin, accusing the President of ignoring the “real problems” facing black people, including something he called “gangsta culture.” Tuesday night, All In with Chris Hayes rebutted what he called O’Reilly’s “super-racist rants.

Yes white folk, some of you are still racists!

Watch the below videos courtesy of MSNBC.

If you take liberal speak on race as race baiting, if you think that race had nothing to do with the Trayvon Martin case, if you think like Justice John Roberts, that race is no longer a problem in these United States, then you are a racists!

CRIMES AGAINST NATURE LAWS KEN CUCCINELLI STYLE

THE COOCH GETS BLASTED BY ABC'S THE VIEW

The hosts of The View ridiculed Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli for his push to reinstate the state’s Crimes Against Nature law on Monday, a measure that would make felons out of consenting married couples who engage in oral or anal sex in the privacy of their own homes. The act was struck down by federal courts after Cuccinelli blocked efforts to bring it in line with the Supreme Court’s 2003 Lawrence v. Texas ruling.
“Michael Douglas better stay out of Virginia,” co-host Joy Behar teased, referring to the actor’s claim that he developed throat cancer from performing oral sex. She later joked, “he wants the government on my back and my husband off of it” as the other hosts piled on.

Cuccinelli has long supported restrictions on the sexual behavior of consenting adults and has linked certain acts to homosexuality. “My view is that homosexual acts, not homosexuality, but homosexual acts are wrong. They’re intrinsically wrong. And I think in a natural law based country it’s appropriate to have policies that reflect that,” he told a newspaper in 2009.

He reiterated that view during the first gubernatorial debate against Democratic nominee Terry McAuliffe on Saturday, admitting that his extreme anti-LGBT beliefs have not changed. Those positions, however, are now raising concerns from some traditionally Republican business donors, who fear that his extreme views could jeopardize the state’s economic development, and have left the attorney general at a substantial fundraising disadvantage.

So if we are to read the Cooch correctly, he wants the law to reflect "his view" that all sex he considers to be not of his liking to be banned?

The Cooch's "view" is that sex should be used for procreation only, that a man is only to have sex with his wife once a month when she is most fertile.

People are entitled to their views, of course. however, laws should never govern a person's sex life, no matter what someone else's "views" are.

"GEORGIE" TO GET ANOTHER GUN

ZIMMERMAN'S MURDER WEAPON

An Ohio gun group is soliciting donations to “provide [Trayvon Martin shooter George] Zimmerman, who has no current source of income, with the funds he needs to replace his firearm, holster, and other gear.” Citing a news report indicating that the U.S. Department of Justice asked police to “keep possession of all the evidence from George Zimmerman’s second-degree murder trial” — most likely so that they can use that evidence in conducting a federal investigation into the Martin shooting — the Buckeye Firearms Foundation spins a complex conspiracy theory built around the idea that Attorney General Eric Holder will use the Zimmerman investigation to somehow target other gun owners:
This move to prevent Mr. Zimmerman from claiming his property is an unacceptable abuse of power. And the threats of federal charges on civil rights grounds is little more than blatant pandering for political gain.
Moreover, based on statements he and others have made recently, Holder hopes to use this as the first step toward renewing this administration’s attack on gun rights. . . . George Zimmerman has every right to get his property back.
And if Eric Holder chooses to deny Mr. Zimmerman that right, Buckeye Firearms Foundation will remedy the matter by purchasing a NEW FIREARM for him, including a holster, flashlight, and any other gear he wants.

Zimmerman shot and killed the unarmed Trayvon Martin while the teen-aged boy was wandering through Zimmerman’s neighborhood carrying an iced tea and a bag of Skittles. Zimmerman was later acquitted after the jury hearing his case was instructed that he “had the right to stand his ground” and use deadly force against Martin if he “reasonably believed that it was necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.” One of the six jurors that acquitted Zimmerman confirmed in an interview with CNN that Florida’s Stand Your Ground law played a role in her decision. In her words, "because of the heat of the moment and the Stand Your Ground. He had a right to defend himself. If he felt threatened that his life was going to be taken away from him or he was going to have bodily harm, he had a right.”

Under Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, prosecutors had to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Zimmerman was not engaged in such self-defense at the time that he shot Martin — meaning that the jury was required to let him off scot-free even if they were fairly certain that Zimmerman acted unlawfully, so long as they had reasonable lingering doubts regarding whether Zimmerman was actually the aggressor.

And now, an Ohio gun group wants to ensure that Zimmerman is armed once again — just in case he feels like he needs to stand his ground in the future.

Naturally the first item of business after killing a teen is to get Zimmerman another gun. Kudos to the Buckeye Firearms Foundation for this noble gesture. Caution readers, George Zimmerman could be coming to a town near you!

“SOULESS” AND “SELF- DESTRUCTIVE” ALL HAIL THE GOD COOCH

KEN THE COOCH CUCCINELLI

In his first gubernatorial debate against Democratic nominee Terry McAuliffe, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli II (Talibangelical) admitted Saturday that his extreme anti-LGBT views have not changed. While reaffirming his extreme earlier comments about what he termed “the personal challenge of homosexuality,” he suggested that he would create an economically positive environment that would help LGBT Virginians.

McAuliffe repeatedly attacked the Cooch throughout the Virginia Bar Association debate in Hot Springs, VA for his record of demonizing science, women’s health, and LGBT people. Twice, McAuliffe noted that the Cooch had called LGBT Virginians “soulless” and “self-destructive” and that his attempts to rescind non-discrimination protections have hurt Virginia’s business climate.

The Cooch consistently ignored the attacks until moderator Judy Woodruff asked him directly about his previous comments. The Cooch responded briefly, saying, “My personal beliefs about the personal challenges of homosexuality haven’t changed.” He then said that as governor he would “create an environment” where economically every Virginian has opportunity.

In contrast, McAuliffe reaffirmed his support for marriage equality, promised to sign an executive order banning discrimination in employment, and said while Virginia’s constitutional ban and Republican legislature make it unlikely, he would sign a marriage equality law if it came to his desk.

The Cooch and the American Taliban should take a long look at themselves. If they did, they might just see that they themselves indeed are the “soulless” and “self-destructive” ones.

Delusional vile conservative voices claim to speak for a "god" - that they say brings hurricanes and earthquakes, illness and catastrophe upon this Country because of a love between two people of the same gender.

When will their "god" bring violence against, divorce, greed, murder, child abuse, promiscuity gossip, dishonesty, incest, theft, idol worship/capitalism, genocide, apathy, and the judging of others? Radical right wing bigotry is indicative of the hypocrisy of their religious thinking, and its failure to follow the true mission and teachings of Christ. Their obsession with sex is a sexual disease transmitted by ignorance itself - and in their attempt to force their beliefs on society with unconstitutional laws through the "purchased " power of politics - which has become their idol and single creed - has alienated the multitudes searching for truth, love and reconciliation in the Lords good news . Conservatives have brought shame upon the church. Love has been substituted with fear. Woe to those white washed tombs and broad of vipers with hearts like old wine skins ready to burst - and you fail to see the truth in Scripture just like the Pharisees, your eyes are veiled with bigotry, prejudice, self righteousness and superficial teachings and tradition.

The judgment by the Talibangelicals is meaningless, we each will stand before Oz, I mean God, and shall be judged for what we thought we did in his name.

Under the Cooch, the Virginia state motto, "Virginia is for Lovers", shall have a disclaimer affixed under a Cooch rule - love in Virginia would be subject to approval by the Cooch.

GROVER NORQUIST VISIBLY SHAKEN

GROVER LOOKING A LITTLE ILL AT THIS MOMENT IN THE SHOW

CAUTION BLOG CONTAINS ADULT CONTENT:

Last nights Real Time, Dan Savage told Bill Maher about his reactions to this year’s monumental Supreme Court rulings on gay marriage, the most laugh-out-loud awful anti-gay arguments, and one of his favorite ways to troll Christian conservatives. He also explained to Maher how gay male couples are most likely to be promiscuous, while lesbian couples are most likely to be monogamous, leading him to conclude that the problem with monogamy is simply “dick.”

VIDEO COURTESY OF HBO AND MEDIAITE

Savage said how whenever he has people come up to him and tell him that gay people cannot biologically produce a child, he just tells them “Anything is possible for God,” and “I’m gonna keep inseminating my husband and keep my fingers crossed.” The camera jumped to a one shot of conservative guest Grover Norquist looking visibly uncomfortable, leading Maher to quip that Savage should move on so as not to induce any actual vomiting.

The look on the bastards face, that being Norquist was priceless!

Maher also found it amusing that Savage’s son came out to him as straight, joking how kids always want to rebel against their parents. Savage used this to slam the religious claim that kids adopt their parents’ sexuality, because 1) he had straight siblings and his parents weren’t particularly shitty just to him, and 2) gay people are born to straight couples all the time. That’s kind of how gay people come into the world.

Its funny if you think about it, that infertile couples can be together because God might grant them with a pregnancy, but homosexual couples can't because you need at least one penis and a womb to get pregnant. It's like humans have decided to limit God's power based on a random set of rules. How is it, that this all powerful OZ, I mean God, is incapable of futzing with those rules - seems very laughable to me. Apparently, OZ, I mean God can create man out of dirt, cause the infertile to bear children, cause a virgin to birth the Messiah, but when it comes to something like male pregnancy, He's flummoxed.

As Ellen DeGeneres says in the closing of all her TV shows, "anyway", its a great time had watching this most radical Talibangelical - Grover Norquist squirm in his seat.

TWENTY FOUR PERCENT OF BLACKS EXPERIENCE POLICE UNFAIRNESS

Cross posted from thinkprogress

Almost one in four young black males have experienced recent unfair treatment by the police, according to a newly released Gallup Survey. Among black males between ages 18 and 35, 24 percent said they recalled an instance within the last 30 days in which they were treated unfairly during dealings with the police. For all African Americans, that number was 17 percent. Here’s Gallup’s breakdown by category:

Twenty-four percent of African Americans also reported unfair treatment at a store, while 16 percent reported mistreatment in a restaurant, bar, theater, or other entertainment place within the last 30 days.

Police targeting of young black men has drawn new attention with the acquittal of George Zimmerman, but it is not a new phenomenon. Reports of police mistreatment of African Americans reached their peak in 2004, when 25 percent of all blacks surveyed by Gallup reported police mistreatment within a one-month period. In 2011, the New York Police Department made more stops of young black men than the number of young black men in all of New York City. Personal experiences have prompted even some of the most prominent and powerful African Americans to advise their sons on avoiding mistreatment by police, including former Reading Rainbow host Levar Burton, and Attorney General Eric Holder. After a jury found Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman not guilty, MSNBC Host Melissa Harris Perry said she was relieved when her ultrasound revealed that she was pregnant with a girl because of the adversity she feared a boy would face. “I will never forget the relief I felt — I’m a sexual assault survivor — and yet the relief I felt at my 20-week ultrasound when they told me it was a girl,” she said. “And last night I thought, I live in a country that makes me wish my sons away, makes me wish that they don’t exist because it’s not safe.”

What is most remarkable about the Gallup poll is that it captures only unfair treatment by police within a random 30-day time period — a duration during which most Americans probably have no interaction at all with police.

GOVERNOR ULTRASOUND AND THE COOCH

KEEP KEN CUCCINELLI OUT OF VAGINA'S

No, not Turner and Hooch, you read it right, Governor Ultrasound and the Cooch.

Yes, Virginia, your are just as "Wack-A-Doodle" as other GOP run states when it comes to radical American Taliban like rule - from either elected or wannabe elected officials.

In Virginia, conservatism has taken on a new meaning - which is, ratcheted up, archaic like cavemen ideological themes, and its message is resounding ever louder with both the words and actions of Governor Ultrasound and the Cooch..

Once again we come to you with yet another story about Transvaginal Bob's problems with ethics.

We will let the videos below speak for themselves.

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli's campaign for governor isn't going so great. He's behind in several polls. He's floating on the outskirts of the still-expanding scandal surrounding Bob McDonnell. But Cuccinelli has a plan to combat that. He will run a campaign powered by sodomy. In opposition, of course.

I thought that the Talibnagelicals theme was smaller government, yet daily, they want to be in the business of overseeing bedroom activities and ruling women's vagina's.

With regards to Governor Ultrasound and his families misuse of everything gift and money, its time for them to go, literally, get the hell out of the office. There is one thing we are assured with these scandals, one, that Transvaginal Bob is more than likely done when it comes to politics - never ever again allowing him more time to accept gifts illegally - and to force his sick controlling ways on women's rights; second, with the Cooch's unwillingness to back off with his troglodyte ideology, we are just about as assured that he is not the next Governor of the State of Virginia.

SPEAKING OF POT AND KETTLE MOMENTS

Cartoon courtesy of Bergetoons.blogspot.com

If we listen to the true bone thugs of our country, the proponents of "Stand Your Ground", and the Guns Over People - the gun huggers untied society [NRA], we are led to believe that all black males come from the same mold, which might include words like, lazy, food-stampers, drug dealing, gangsta criminals up to now good.

There is nothing that Americans do better - than judging others and racial profiling, whether we know them or not - There are 6 million Trayvon Martin's in this country, with a hoodie, gold teeth, dark skin, teen - and they are automatically bundle into stereotypes, like:

Stupid, Irresponsible, Crack babies, Teen pregnancy, Drop-outs, Incarcerated, Fathers leave their kids, Love fried chicken and Kool-Aid, Lazy, Violent, Live in the ghetto/the projects, Wasted generation, Loud, obnoxious, rude, Nappy hair, Bad attitudes, disrespectful, Hoodlums, Poor, Obese, Dirty, Sex, drugs, porn, weed, Guns, Low job expectations, Speak different English. [This list compiled from over 734 hate mails sent to NFTOS since verdict was released]

Martin Bashir last year [video below] attacks the "character assassination" of Trayvon Martin.

If we take a look at George Zimmerman's past, [Content provided by "political blind spot"] via his old "MySpace account, we see a Zimmerman that apes the very stereotypical analogies that the country is associating Martin too. [Full story seen here]

Excerpts from Zimmerman's MySpace Account:
In his biographical blurb, he discusses things he doesn't miss about his former home in Manassas, Virginia:
I dont miss driving around scared to hit mexicans walkin on the side of the street, soft ass wanna be thugs messin with peoples cars when they aint around (what are you provin, that you can dent a car when no ones watchin) dont make you a man in my book. Workin 96 hours to get a decent pay check, gettin knifes pulled on you by every mexican you run into!”
In an August 24, 2005 blog post, he boasts about his relief about the proceedings in a criminal case.
Im still free! The ex hoe tried her hardest, but the judge saw through it! Big Mike, reppin the Dverse security makin me look a million bucks, broke her down! Thanks to everyone for checkin up on me! Stay tuned for the A.T.F. charges……
A few days later, he expresses happiness that the other charges against him were reduced to misdemeanors.
2 felonies dropped to 1 misdemeanor!!!!!!!!!!! The man knows he was wrong but still got this hump, Thanks to everyone friends and fam, G baby you know your my rock!
In 2005, a 20-year-old Zimmerman was arrested and charged after an altercation with a police officer. The same year, his ex-fianceé filed a restraining order against him and accused him of domestic violence.

Now if I was to take my perceived view of Zimmerman from his MySpace page, I might perceive him to be of a criminal element - out walking, doing no good - "these Fucking People always get away" Right George? Spoken from a true POV [Point of View] experience evidently!

Was George Zimmerman referencing this due to his own modus operandi as a bone thug, a cop beating, woman beating bone thug ?

The preponderance of evidence is overwhelming in this case, if you look at the totality of Zimmerman v. Martin, one doesn't have to look far to see who the bone thug racist is!

George Zimmerman, profiled and murdered a teen, he was judge and jury in situation that well exceeded his: IQ, his mentality, and most of all, certainly his "soft" physical being.

Robert Zimmerman vigilante rhetoric starts at 2:37

Really Robert Zimmerman? Vigilante? Speaking of your pot and Kettle Moment!

6 jurors are entitled to their view [remember my comment form yesterday: "I'd never want to leave my fate in the hands of 6 people too stupid to get out of jury duty"] of the case - their interpretation of the law [limited in scope] which was based on the evidence presented, [which wasn't much] and that hence is where a portion of this travesty lies. As I said in my blog "System Failure, Death While Walking Black - "This is not so much a proclamation of right vs. wrong, but more so a declaration of the judicial system. Perhaps we need to look more closely at the laws and the interpretation of such and make the proper changes."

There are so many wrongs in this case, where to start? Stop profiling, stop judging, stop racism, and, if your not a cop in real life, well then for gods sake leave the protecting and serving to the real Barney Fife's!

AQUITTED DEVELOPMENT

John Oliver Blasting The Zimmerman Verdict

What's the old saying? "I'd never want to leave my fate in the hands of 6 people too stupid to get out of jury duty"?

The myriad of problems associated with the Zimmerman case are just too numerous to list in a single blog.

As a white man, I find the actions of some white people utterly disgusting! I find it hard to believe that in circa 2013 - the filthy nasty comments are being sent to African Americans whom have chosen to voice their opinion on this case.

I would tell my race that we are 250 years removed from the civil war, and yet our words today, portray this very unlettered mentality of a time long ago. Take heed white folk, "for it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"!

I often used to claim that our political discourse was the worst division or obstacle before us, seeing the vile ugliness of my own race over this case, I have to say, that as a country, we are no better today than we where in 1863, and it is this divisiveness that takes the lead as America's worst.

Justice you say? Florida law, no racism what so ever? Both of these people pictured invoked stand your ground, on killed, and one fired warning shots. One walked away Scott free, one got twenty years. Where is this justice you speak of America? See the problem here readers?

FLORIDA INJUSTICE

Juror B37: What can you say, she is on a first name bases with the murderer, she appears to be very: sympathetic to "George", condescending, and it appears that she had preconceived ideas of guilt well prior to - or before she should have. Also less than 48 hours after the trial, Juror B 37 had a deal sealed to write a book [which has since been rescinded see below link], there is no doubt in this bloggers mind that dollar signs of a book deal where well discussed prior to her being seated as a juror. She also claims that she would trust "George" to be a "wanna-be-cop" again. HUH?:! Seriously? She also stated that race wasn't a player in the trial - is she sure she was speaking on the same Zimmerman trial!?

I could write my doctoral thesis on this case, something to consider I guess - but what does it say about America, that today white people are reconstituting the "N" word to taunt Americans of race for their opinions? Van Jones was pummeled with the word 25 times in a tweet right after the verdict.

Not only does the verdict disgust me, but so does the actions of white "Christians"! From the Ted Nugent's of the world [the man who shit his pants to avoid the Vietnam draft, also see the link below regarding pants shitting] to those bold racists, who utter direct racial epithets from behind both closed doors and computer screens - you humans are the most vile despicable homosapiens to ever troll the earth - you are not Christians, you are not Americans, and lastly, you are not human! Your ignorance resonates with a resounding thud! Lack of education and common decency is not an excuse for your behavior!

Below John Oliver shreds the Zimmerman verdict:

I found a letter from an African American to George Zimmerman, and it goes like this:

Dear George Zimmerman,
For the rest of your life you are now going to feel what's it like to be a black man in America.
You will feel people stare at you . Judging you for what you think are unfair reasons. You will lose out on getting jobs for something you feel is outside of your control. You will believe yourself to be an upstanding citizen and wonder why people choose not to see that.
People will cross the street when they see you coming. They will call you hurtful names. It will drive you so crazy that you'll want to scream at the top of your lungs. But you will have to wake up the next day, put on a firm look and push through the day.
I bet you never thought that by shooting a black male you'd end up inheriting all of his struggles.
Enjoy your "freedom".

Sincerely,

A black male who could've been Tryavon Martin

George Zimmerman made a statement during his "we don't need you to do that" killing of an innocent teen: "Those fucking punks always get away with it"! How true he is, especially in this case - yes George, you are indeed, a fucking punk!

The Facts On Blacks And The Criminal Justice System

George Zimmerman killed one boy, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Although a Florida jury found Zimmerman not guilty, his attitude — that a young black male is an object suspicion and contempt — not only cost Martin his life but has infected the entire United States criminal justice system.

Law Professor Michelle Alexander makes the point powerfully:

It is the Zimmerman mindset that must be found guilty – far more than the man himself. It is a mindset that views black men and boys as nothing but a threat, good for nothing, up to no good no matter who they are or what they are doing. It is the Zimmerman mindset that has birthed a penal system unprecedented in world history, and relegated millions to a permanent under caste.

The statistics back up Alexander’s point. Minorities, especially the six million young black men in America, get much worse outcomes from the criminal justice system for the same conduct:
A black male born in 2001 has a 32% chance of spending some portion of his life in prison. A white male born the same year has just a 6% chance. [Sentencing Project
In major American cities, as many as 80% of young African-American men have criminal records. [Michelle Alexander, The New Jim Crow]
African-Americans who use drugs are more than four times as likely to be incarcerated than whites who use drugs. African Americans constitute 14% of the population and 14% of monthly drug users. But African-Americans represent 34% of those arrested for a drug offense and 53% of those sentenced to prison for a drug offense. [American Bar Association
In seven states, African Americans constitute 80% or more of all drug offenders sent to prison. [Michelle Alexander, The New Jim Crow]
Black students are three and a half times as likely to be suspended or expelled than their white peers. One in five black boys receive an out-of-school suspension. Education Secretary Arne Duncan who commissioned the study, said “The undeniable truth is that the everyday education experience for too many students of color violates the principle of equity at the heart of the American promise.” [New York Times
Black youth who are referred to juvenile court are much more likely to be detained, referred to adult court or end up in adult prison than their white counterparts. Blacks represented 28% of juvenile arrests, 30% of referrals to juvenile court, 37% of the detained population, 35% of youth judicially waived to criminal court and 58% of youth admitted to state adult prison. [National Council on Crime And Delinquency
The United States imprisons a larger percentage of its black population than South Africa did at the height of apartheid. [Michelle Alexander, The New Jim Crow]

In 2004, the American Bar Association created a commission which produced recommendation to address “racial and ethnic bias in the criminal justice system.” Thus far, their recommendations have been largely ignored in much of the country.

When the facts and data stack up likes this, it no wonder that the George Zimmerman's of the world walk Scott free of murder. How is it circa 2013, that we still oppress human beings - a country who professes itself to the world that civil rights are at the forefront of its democracy - Tell this to the 6 million Trayvon Martin's.

SYSTEM FAILURE, DEATH WHILE WALKING BLACK

GEORGE ZIMMERMAN BEWARE, HOODIE IS RECREATIONAL!
UPDATE: 7/14/13 16:16 The link below is inundated with hits, that's why the site won't load. Be patient and also be advised that the DOJ has said they will look into civil rights violations. Also, below an addendum to the 911 operator telling Zimmerman to stop.

"Not guilty." The verdict in the George Zimmerman trial for Trayvon Martin's killing resonates far beyond those two words today. Only in America can a dead black boy go on trial for his own murder! Justice denied, Twinkie Guzzlers acquittal is the latest in a long string of sad chapters in American history with regards to both race and guns.

This is America, what do we expect? The only thing you aren't allowed to kill in America in an instant is a fetus. In reality, the dogs in Michael Vick's case received more consideration than Trayvon Martin did!

Notice to African Americans: If you're Black in America, you now officially know what you're life is worth.

As I sit here disgusted by Zimmerman's [The Twinkie Guzzler] not guilty verdict, I find flawed humans footprints everywhere in this case. When a country and states have a law like "Stand Your Ground" in place, where all you have to say is "I felt threatened", what do we expect, especially when the victim is a minority?

All through the trial we hear that this system, our justice system is the best that exists. If this is the case, then we are all doomed to burn in hell for eternity.

Our nation has failed us, the state of Florida failed us, and the only one we can turn to in travesties like this is God, for we know that the wrath of hell awaits Georgie Zimmerman.

With itchy twitchy fingers already handling guns, along with this verdict - it certainly seems like open season on those who choose to want to walk the streets freely. This is not so much a proclamation of right vs. wrong, but more so a declaration of the judicial system. Perhaps we need to look more closely at the laws and the interpretation of such and make the proper changes. For certainly Trayvon Martin deserved better, along with any future Trayvon Martin's as well!

America tells the world how great it is, it injects its views to bone thug countries as to how great we are, last night the world was watching, and if this is the democracy you want to impose on the world, you need to work better on your civil rights skills America, and Florida - proved that America has morphed passed 1863.

I have a motion in the George Zimmerman trail, I motion to dismiss Florida as a state due to their lack of interest in utilizing the justice system correctly!

What did Trayvon do that was suspicious or horribly wrong - that the outcome deserved or warranted death? He walk through a freaking neighborhood for Christ's sake! Zimmerman profiled, followed, attacked, and then killed Trayvon Martin [all the while being told by 911 "that we don't need you to do that", regarding chasing him] and yet the Twinkie guzzler walks free - while a Black woman in Florida was just sentenced to 20 years for firing warning shots, in her home, at a man who broke in, and to whom she had a restraining order against. Where the fuck is Trayvon's justice? Where the fuck was Marissa Alexander justice? See what I am getting at here readers?

Had the Twinkie Guzzler just stayed in his vehicle as advised, - its funny, or maybe not so much, that Zimmerman choose to listen to his lawyers and not take the stand - if only he had followed and agreed to the directive from the 911 operator as easily as he did his arrogant lawyers.

The Zimmerman verdict is bad news for anyone who likes to go outside and walk, especially in states where Stand Your Ground exists!

Just a friendly reminder readers that Justice John Roberts thinks racism in America is over. Sleep tight America, George Zimmerman could be coming to a town near you!
We at NFTOS along with the NAACP are calling on the U.S. Justice Department to open a civil rights case against George Zimmerman and have launched a petition to Attorney General Eric Holder. The petition says:
The Department of Justice has closely monitored the State of Florida's prosecution of the case against George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin murder since it began. Today, with the acquittal of George Zimmerman, it is time for the Department of Justice to act.

The most fundamental of civil rights—the right to life—was violated the night George Zimmerman stalked and then took the life of Trayvon Martin. We ask that the Department of Justice file civil rights charges against Mr. Zimmerman for this egregious violation.

Please address the travesties of the tragic death of Trayvon Martin by acting today. Thank you.

UPDATE:

To chase or not to chase:

For those who argue that the 9-11 operator "did not have the authority to dissuade Zimmerman from following Treyvon Martin:

The answer is Yes. In Florida, a 9-11 operator can actively manage an emergency situation and any sanctioned Citizens on Patrol (COP) volunteer. Members of the COP program are an extension of law enforcement sponsored community policing programs and are only authorized observe and report.

401.465(a)“911 public safety telecommunicator” means a public safety dispatcher or 911 operator whose duties and responsibilities include the answering, receiving, transferring, and dispatching functions related to 911 calls; dispatching law enforcement officers, fire rescue services, emergency medical services, and other public safety services to the scene of an emergency; providing real-time information from federal, state, and local crime databases; or supervising or serving as the command officer to a person or persons having such duties and responsibilities [which includes sanctioned Citizens on Patrol volunteer program members]

Broward County sheriff's spokeswoman Veda Coleman-Wright: sanctioned Citizens on Patrol (COP) volunteer program members "[are] told not to intervene, only to report suspicious activity," As a sanctioned Citizens on Patrol (COP) volunteer, George Zimmerman was ordered not to follow Treyvon Martin via the authority granted an certified 911 public safety telecommunicator.

See my problem with facts and the judicial system? If I could find this why couldn't the prosecutors. If only the twinkie guzzler had stayed in his vehicle!

Tampons Don’t Kill People. Republicans Do!

TEXAS AMERICAN TALIBANERS RATCHET UP STUPID!

In case you missed it yesterday, the state of Texas upped its ignorance and stupidly to a level that is matched by.......none!

Yesterday, Texas feared for its life, so much so that it banned weapons of mass destruction from entering the state capitol - so that its state law makers could conduct the toughest proposed draconian abortion laws this country has to offer.
“We have beefed up security today,” said Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, speaking from the floor of the Texas Senate this afternoon. “We will not tolerate any outbursts.”

Before entering the states capitol to view the proceedings, security guards searched for these weapons of mass destruction. These weapons where not guns, no, as astounding at this sounds, guns where allowed into the state capitol. The destructive weapon that had the Talibangelicals crapping their depends - none other than the dreaded "Tampon". Yes that's right, a feminine product used during menstrual cycles.

Speaking of salt in the wound. This extra slap in the face - is yet another stake in the heart of women's rights.

I have said on many occasions, that nothing is beyond the pale of these disgusting humans that call themselves "American Patriots", conservatives and Republicans. Patriots of what, ignorance, racism, of putting the boot on the neck of women, minorities and the poor?

Ho Lee Fuk! Where in the hell did this "American" train fall off its rails? What does is say about the morphing of intelligence in humans, when guns are allowed into churches, grocery stores, and capitol buildings, and yet something as innocent as a tampon, suddenly becomes a dangerous weapon. Again Ho Lee Fuk!

Be advise women of Texas, if you are indeed on your period, please make sure you check your weapons at the door! But don't fear Guns Over People, if you happened to be hugging your gun, and you have your concealed carry permit, you're all set to go! Go right in.

When the news about the no tampon rule spread on Twitter, women could not contain their outrage and I found this gem [letter below] addressing the troglodytes of the Texas Senate, and it goes like this:
From Margaret and Helen
Best Friends for Sixty Years and Counting…
Margaret, last night there was a rally at the Texas State Capitol to let Rick Perry and the Republican controlled house and Senate know that Texas women have had enough of this backward ass war on women. And do you know what those crazy asshats did? They confiscated everyone’s feminine hygiene napkins at the door. Now there is some good bullshit if you ask me.
As God as my witness, you could legally carry a concealed weapon into the Texas Capitol but you had to surrender your tampons. I can only assume the Texas legislators… I guess Rick Perry decided… The State Troopers.. You know what, Margaret? For the first time in my life I’m speechless. What in God’s name has gotten into these yahoos?
If Rick Perry, a C minus college student, can be trusted with making his own healthcare decisions, why the hell can’t my A+ college graduated daughter do the same? Pro-life my ass. Perry is about as pro-life as any governor who has presided over hundreds of executions. Which is to say Perry is about 250 executions short of being pro-life. And for the record, pro-choice does not mean pro-abortion. Being pro-choice means you trust women to make the right decisions for themselves and their families when it comes to healthcare.
And Rick Perry might not be running for governor again, but those two morons Abbott and Costello… I mean Abbott and Dewhurst are and they make Perry look almost sane. So this fight isn't over. I’m in this for the long run. Are you with me Wendy?
Texas women might have lost the battle but we sure as hell plan to win the war. And they can pry the tampon from my cold, dead hands. I mean it. Really.

Many things that the American Taliban does garners ire within me, and there is no doubt that this is indeed created to incite anger within the ranks of women and humans in support of a women's right of choice! This is the "na-na-na-na" in your face, I win you lose mentality.

Pasty white, two dollar hair cut authoritarians! If your truly worried about projectiles hitting you, I am quite sure the power and speed of a bullet is way more tragic than the velocity of a tossed or harpooned tampon.

For the umpteenth time ladies, stop voting for the American Taliban, for if not, your right to vote is next to be lost!

I know what you're thinking Texas Senate. "Did she have six tampons in her purse or only five?"... Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Texas state republicans, you have earned two awards this day: Assholes of the year, and worst persons of the world for the year. Congratulations asshats, well deserved!

GETTING TO KNOW THE "COOCH"

HOW FITTING IS IT THAT THE MOTTO FOR THE AMERICAN TALIBAN IS A "SNAKE IN THE GRASS"!

We are set to post a series of blogs targeting the radical candidate for Virginia's next Governor, Virginia's current Attorney General Ken "Cooch" Cuccinelli

During a policy breakfast for the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce last August, Virginia state attorney general and gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli (R-VA) compared health care coverage to car insurance, and argued that insurance plans shouldn't cover routine care such as doctors’ visits.

According to an account of the meeting in the Ashburn Patch, Cuccinelli claimed that insurance was “never intended” to cover services like doctor visits and was meant to be limited to catastrophic illnesses. To illustrate his logic, Cuccinelli pointed out that car insurance doesn't pay for routine maintenance such as oil changes.

Many conservatives have pushed catastrophic care as a way of dealing with rising costs. But these types of plans force consumers who have anything other than a devastating illness or accident to pay for all of their care out-of-pocket or forgo it entirely. Doctors’ visits and regular preventative care, on the other hand, can prevent many of the conditions that may cause a catastrophic condition to form in the first place.

Really "Cooch"? What a horrible analogy. My car insurance doesn't cover the costs when I have a catastrophic mechanical problem, either, but it will help cover the towing costs to get it to a mechanic, but that's about it. But then by that logic, my health insurance would only help cover the cost of a ride in an ambulance. Never mind that an oil change is far cheaper than even a regular doctors' visit. Unless there's an actual plan in place to address the outrageous (and inconsistent) cost of even visiting the doctor, this is little more than a non-starter and a slab of red meat from a guy who's no fan of health care benefiting the consumer in the first place. Yet another reason why this man is unfit to be Virginia's governor.

Is this how you envision your healthcare?

VIRGINIA GOVERNOR TRANSVAGINAL BOB MCDONNELL, ITS TIME FOR YOU TO RESIGN!

[PICTURE IS SATIRICAL]  BOB MCDONNELL TAKES GRIFTING TO A NEW LEVEL

UPDATE: The Richmonder: Sources Confirm McDonnell Negotiating Resignation

Let me begin by saying that it’s a common standard, a conservative forensic device: Deflection. Every time a conservative is being outed as a racist, a bribe taker, a hypocrite, an adulterer or just a dead-souled, compassion-less, narcissistic, self-absorbed, “I got mine,” “not my brother’s keeper,” anti-social-compact, unlettered objectivist asshole, we get the Pavlovian response, “Well, yeah, but some Democrat did something horrible too once, so its OK for a Talibangelical to do so.”

This, from the party that advocates taking responsibility for ones action, but yet they never actually manage to own any of their politics, nor any of their other major deficiencies.

Day by day, Transvaginal Bob McDonnell finds himself deep in the trenches of illegal gift receiving. Yesterday the anti upped itself via the Washington Post, that Transvaginal Bob received yet another $120,000 in do-re-mi, cold hard cash. When does it end Bob?

Governor Ultrasound and his family have abused power, apparently often and frequently, and they have bilked the state tax payers of many bones [dollars].

What was once a little bug bite for Governor Ultrasound - has now turned into a viral contagious disease.

The Washington Post is now reporting that yet another daughter [the eldest of Transvaginal Bob] has had her wedding paid for and funded by Star Scientifics' CEO as well.

Governor Ultrasound and his family had an open siphon to the CEO's wallet! That's' right, the company McDonnell was hawking was donating to his family left and right. hand over fist if you will.

There’s wild rumors that state Attorney General Ken "Cooch" Cuccinelli will be the first one running in the other direction. However, Cuccinelli has his own depends to change, as he is being accused of accepting undisclosed donations from the exact same CEO.

Although he’s trying to rebrand himself as a moderate, ready to lead type of person (the usual radical Talibangelical meme), you might recall the "Cooch" as the American Talibaner who compared women’s health to slavery. Or perhaps you recognize him as the person causing conservative women by the droves to flee the GOP ticket due to his “dangerous… anti-woman health agenda.”

67% of the voters in the latest Bearing Drift poll support transvaginal Bob's resignation, and these are not liberals.

When the American Taliban says your scandal is not survivable, and a Democrat (party of perhaps too much civility and a well earned reputation for tepidness) is calling for your head in resignation, it’s got to be time to exit stage left. After all, the American Taliban stood behind Ensign and Vitter and re-ran Appalachian Trail hiker and post abandon-er Mark Sanford.

Seriously Bob, save what little respect we have for you, save what little moral ethical being you may have left in you and step down, leave the office today! While exiting, please be reminded, don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.

Today, the entire McDonnell family - you folks have served yourselves well as first Virginia family - all of you are today's worst people of the day! Congratulations McDonnell family, as no family has ever in our history of presenting the worst humans in our world, has a family ever walked away with this well earned coveted award. Kudos!

A PLEA TO STAY CALM

GEORGE ZIMMERMAN IN NOT SO BETTER TIMES

With the end of the Zimmerman V Martin trial coming to a close - I came upon a letter from Russell Simmons posted yesterday, that we would like to echo and re-post here at NFTOS.

I have made no bones about my stance in this case, and while the State of Florida has presented a horrible case, many points in the case are being left out, for whatever reason - decided by law or the Judges interpretation of said law.

Many will say our court system is the best there is. I call bullshit! There is only one true court and [ the heavenly court, which is not a court of flawed mans laws] I think our court systems are deeply erred.

What evidence to allow, what to not allow, an original query issued to a testifier is not acceptable in one instance - yet upon an objection and rephrasing of said question it is OK, and allowed in court. It would seem to the laymen that two key points have been omitted. A key portion in this case is, who is screaming in the 911 tapes. The latitude to not allow a voice recognition expert to testify as to who is screaming, is a huge travesty in my honest opinion! The failure to hammer the point that "Georgie" was told by 911, "ok, we don't need you to do that", referencing Georgie cease and desist of the stalking of Martin.

The biggest travesty in my opinion is the murderer himself George Zimmerman - that he shall be entitled to invoke his 5th amendment right.

If indeed Zimmerman is so innocent, put him on the stand, but like all murderers, they quietly sit in the defense chair with their testicles tucked under their posterior fearing the worst, and yet knowingly they can't get up in front of a jury and make their FUBAR story believable!

This aforementioned true court I mention above, shall be the one that puts "Georgie" where he belongs, and that is throwing fireballs in the firmament of hell, and rightly so!

Anyhow, off my soapbox, baring a major cataclysmic paradigm shift, the murderer named George Zimmerman, shall more than likely walk away a free man. I am just as disgusted and pissed off as most about the ebb and flow of this trial - and that its a high probability that this murderer walks away Scott free within a few short days.

I am asking that we let the process move forward, to channel our efforts lawfully as the verdict befalls us. To not be George Zimmerman like, lets handle this the way grown educated humans should, without violence and mayhem.

I found the below message, to be very well written. I leave you this day with a letter from Russell Simmons.
RUSSELL SIMMONS LETTER:
Like so many people across the country, I have followed the murder trial of George Zimmerman very closely. As we enter what is probably the last week of the trial, I am sure that everyone is anxious about the outcome. For the past sixteen months, I have proudly supported the courageous parents of Trayvon Martin as they have fought for justice for their son. I have greatly admired the grace and humility that they have exuded throughout this entire tragic ordeal. For them, the day of judgment in the courtroom will be a very difficult day and I certainly will say a prayer for them when that day comes.
Even with this important day coming soon, I remind myself that we have already accomplished a tremendous amount in the memory of Trayvon. All we ever asked for was for equal justice for the young man who was killed that drizzling night in Sanford, Florida. If George Zimmerman had rights, so did Trayvon Martin. And that is why Mr. Zimmerman was properly arrested and charged with murder in the second degree. He will soon be judged by a jury of his peers, and that is the best we can do. Whatever decision they make, is a decision that we must live with, whether we like it or not. Whether George Zimmerman is found innocent or guilty by the jury, I am firm believer that all of us live by karmic law, and he will ultimately be punished for the death of Trayvon, no matter what. However, if he walks free out of that courtroom, I understand that some people will be very sad, but we must remember the mission we are on. As I have heard Trayvon's parents say time and time again, they are not only fighting for justice for their son, they are fighting for all of us, especially those parents who have to live through the misery of burying their child and the sadness that comes after.
Their inspiring leadership has already led to action. In 2012, for the first time in 8 years, not ONE state in our nation passed a new "Stand Your Ground" law. The power of the NRA and their gun-toting cronies in business were stopped in their tracks by the Justice For Trayvon Martin movement. That is an incredible accomplishment. That is the mission we must continue after this trial is over. Led by the heroism of Trayvon's parents, we will support their efforts to not only block new laws from being enacted, but also repeal the laws in the twenty five states who already passed "Stand Your Ground" type legislation. And we will certainly support their healing process, as they have become great protectors of our nation's compassion. It is the future that needs to be protected and everyone who stood up for Trayvon plays a part in that protection. If we failed to protect Trayvon on February 26, 2012, we will pledge to never make that mistake again.
Never we will stop fighting for justice for Trayvon, guilty verdict or acquittal, as our work will never be done!
~Russell Simmons

THE BEST OF RICK PERRY

TEXAS EXECUTIONER RICK PERRY

With his announcement Monday that he will not seek an unprecedented fourth full term as Governor of Texas, Rick Perry (Talibangelical) will retire from the office in January 2015. Unfortunately, Perry shall leave behind a record of right-wing extremism that few shall ever match.

Rick Perry is a special kind of stupid, unparalleled by any state Governor on record.

Below via Thinkprogess, are nine of the "best" moments from his 13 years as governor and his “oops” 2012 presidential campaign:

He allowed Texas to become the nation’s worst polluter. Texas under Perry has led the nation in carbon dioxide emissions and is home to five of the ten worst mercury emitting power plants in the country. Rather than try to do something about this, Perry sued the federal government to try to avoid complying an EPA ruling that the state was in violation of the Clean Air Act. A proud climate change denier, Perry called the 2010 BP oil spill an “act of God” while speaking at a trade association funded by BP. And his solution to the nation’s economic ills in 2011: more oil drilling.
He executed a likely innocent man and impeded an investigation into the matter. In 2004, Cameron Todd Willingham was executed in Huntsville, Texas after being convicted of arson and the murder of his three children. Despite significant evidence that arson had not caused the fire (thus exonerating Willingham), Perry refused to grant a stay of execution. Five years after Willingham was executed, a report from a Texas Forensic Science Commission investigator found that the fire could not have been arson. As the commission prepared to hear testimony from the investigator in October 2009, Perry fired and replaced three of its members, forcing an indefinite delay in the process. With a record of executing juveniles and mentally disabled, Perry said in a 2011 GOP presidential debate that he had “never struggled” at all with his decisions to administer the death penalty to more than 230 people.
He actively sought to dismantle Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Perry argued that Texas and other states should be able to opt out of federal entitlements like Medicaid and Social Security — even though such a move would actually cost his own state’s economy billions of dollars. Despite their popularity and success, he called these programs and Medicare “Ponzi schemes,” and suggested they are actually unconstitutional.
He consistently backed legislation to restrict women’s reproductive rights. Perry has made news in recent weeks for his embarrassing attacks on State Senator Wendy Davis (D) and his efforts to ram through a likely unconstitutional bill to shut down the vast majority of Texas clinics that provide abortion. But his attacks on women’s reproductive choice are nothing new; in 2011 he pushed for and signedemergency legislation” to require women to have unnecessary sonograms prior to abortions.
He demonized LGBT Texans and worked to increase legal discrimination against them. Perry was staunch defender of Texas’ unconstitutional anti-sodomy law which criminalized the private consensual sexual behavior of adults. After the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2003 ruling in Lawrence v. Texas, Perry called ban “appropriate,” and blasted the Court decision as the result of “nine oligarchs in robes.” As a presidential candidate, he ran a shockingly anti-gay ad, blasting open service by gay and lesbian members of the Armed Services as part of President Obama’s “war on religion.” He vocally opposed the Boy Scouts of America’s half-measure allowing openly gay Scouts but not leaders, claiming the tiny step “contradicts generations of tradition in the name of political correctness.” Even in his speech Monday, he proudly boasted that Texas had defended “the sanctity of marriage” by writing discrimination into the state’s constitution.
He backed nullification of federal laws and even raised the prospect of secession. Perry rose to national prominence in 2009 when he threatened to have Texas secede from the United States. “If Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what might come out of that,” Perry told reporters after a Tea Party event. He also signed nullification legislation — a state law that portends to undo federal law, despite the Constitution’s clear guarantee of federal supremacy — as governor, the likes of which were used by secessionists in the 19th Century.
He refused to let the federal government provide healthcare for low-income Texans, despite the highest rate of uninsured residents in the country. Health care in Texas is abysmal. More than 25 percent of Texans — 6,234,900 people and growing — lack health coverage, the highest of any state in the country. However, when Obamacare was passed and offered millions of dollars in federal money to expand Medicaid and cover poor Texans, Perry rejected the offer even though it wouldn't cost Texas a dime for at least three years. Despite his state’s awful track record on covering low-income residents, Perry claimed that Texas has the “best health care in the country.”
He vetoed bipartisan Equal Pay legislation to protect Texas women. Though women, on average, continue to earn 77 cents for every dollar men make, Perry vetoed legislation that would have helped women fight discrimination. The bill, HB 950, which passed the Republican-held Texas legislature, would have built on the federal Lilly Ledbetter Act. Perry, worrying that the bill would lead to regulations, vetoed the measure.
He called for repeal of the 16th and 17th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, to end popular election of Senators and the federal income tax. In his book Fed Up!, Perry said that both the 16th and 17th Amendments were “mistaken” and should be repealed. The 16th Amendment allows the federal government to collect income taxes and accounts for 45 percent of all revenue, while the 17th Amendment allows voters, rather than state legislatures, to choose their U.S. senators. Perry opposed both amendments, saying they were merely passed in “a fit of populist rage.”
In his announcement, Perry noted, “Our responsibility remains to the next generation of Texans, who will inherit a state of our making. We alone are responsible for the kind of Texas that will greet them.”

Rick Perry was designed to piss Americans off, just like the plethora of other Talibangelicals running rampant in our local, state and national government. Its what they do best.

Rick Perry is the village idiot who never got reigned in - who, if he had any true ethics or empathy - he'd forever be apologizing for his ignorance- which has run rampant for much of his adult life! Perry is a true visionary and leader of the saying; " diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain."

I was really hoping that Rick Perry's secessionist dreams would have come to fruition before he quits. Unfortunately this looks like a dud. Perry believes that freedom is the greatest blessing that God can give someone - anyone who doesn't have a vagina that is. Perry states that has a "deep sense of humility" - yes this is true - that only a man like he can know exactly when life begins.

What is next for Rick Perry? Running for POTUS in 2016, yes maybe, as long as he doesn't have any debates, or have to answer any queries. Maybe Secretary of State? Prime Minister of Egypt? IRS Commissioner? NYC Comptroller? CEO of Mens Wearhouse?

We at NFTOS bid this right wing nut job a not so fond adieu, and may God help us all - wherever this buffoon lands!
