A PARTY OF KNOW NOTHINGS

CAUTION: ADULT CONTENT

FALSE PROFIT

Flipflopney has a major issue, and the longer he bullshitz us on it the faster he falls. He is very close to terminal velocity as we speak, and what a thud he will make we he splatters on terra firma. The gravitational pull of tax diclosure is a bitch!

Animal Cruelty?

RACISTS?

Mormon Card!

WTF? The condescending pasty white Newt-ron-bomb. Speaking of WTF moments: In 1997, (then House Speaker) Newt Gingrich was kicked out of his position for ethics violations by a vote of 395-28. He was also fined $300,000. The violations...Failing to ensure that financing for two projects would not violate federal tax law and giving the House ethics committee false information.

Speaking after that vote: "Newt has done some things that have embarrassed House Republicans and embarrassed the House," said Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-Mich.). "If [the voters] see more of that, they will question our judgment."

And now teapublicans think this same man is Presidential material?

Holy Guadalcanal Batman, what now!

Is the speech below "Presidential"? More like the Joker speaking to Gotham CIty as he seeks world domination.

Quoting my boss, NFTOS Editor-In-Chief, Roger West: "Not content with firing the first shots in the South's losing war against the United States of America, South Carolina last night reaffirmed their status as inbred morons by handing a victory to Newt Gingrich in the Republican primary."

Newt railes against "anti-religion bigots elites", because nothing says "religious values" more than his marital history.

South Carolina LIVE

19:25: Ironic? 15 years to the day Eye of Newt was found guilty of ethics violations, today he wins SC. Just goes to show you that republicans could care less about character!

19:31: BREAKING: NFTOS predicts Eye-Of-Newt Winner in  South Carolina, Romney now considering adultery to maintain republican standards and win Florida!

19:38: Not content with firing the first shots in the South's losing war against the United States of America, South Carolina today reaffirmed their status as inbred morons by handing a victory to Newt Gingrich in the Republican primary.

1941: Interesting to note that cable news is going by the exit polls which appear to give Newt the win. With 3% of precincts reporting: Mitt 36%, Newt 34%, Santorum 14%, Ron Paul 10%.

19:45: Andy Borowitz: Gingrich Victory Statement: "I've left Romney behind faster than a woman with cancer."
NFTOS is still interested to see how many women voted for Newty after his despicable marriage history has been made public, and the exact numbers for each candidate to get a feel for how long the infighting in the clown show will continue and how many of the lunatics will be in the upcoming bash fests.

19:58: I hate to bust the Gingrich bubble, but lets keep in mind and don't forget...The Newtster didn't even manage to get on the ballot in my state of Virginia.

20:00 I am really pulling for you Newt Gingrich! You're the only candidate, besides Ron Paul, who might give President Obama a 50 state victory! GO NEWT!

20:01: When I think of the teapublican POTUS pool, I am reminded of a quote: If you have selfish, ignorant citizens, you're going to get selfish, ignorant leaders. ~ George Carlin

20:04 16% of vote in and Newt-ron-bomb up 12 points.

20:08: Gingrich says he got a call from Obama: “He stopped laughing just long enough to say congratulations.”

20:11: At Flipflopney's concession speech tonight he confirmes that he is consulting with senior advisors about the best way to proceed with an inappropriate relationship.

20:15: Blurb from Romney loser speech: "We still believe that America is a shining city on a hill, down from which I will deliver edicts to my loyal peons and serfs toiling in my fields."

20:18: For those of you playing the "family game" tonight, you should be completely shit faced by now due to the plethora of times we have heard family values tonight...I don't ever want to hear teapublicans talk about "family values" again.

20:23: Ron Paul squelching at lecturn as we post, at the rate that his popularity is growing, he'll win a primary by the time he's 129 yrs old.

20:25: The Paulbots are going to be pissed off
ABC News projects that Rick Santorum will take 3rd & Ron Paul 4th in South Carolina.

20:35 49% of the vote in Newt-ron-bomb up 12 points.

20:53: This is the first time Republicans have ever split Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina three ways. And we all know that Newt's into 3-ways.

20:57:
This is an incredible performance by Newt, and is a disaster for Romney. Could there be any greater repudiation of the putative frontrunner?.

South Carolina facts: 28% of South Carolina is black. 99% of GOP primary votes were white.

21:04: Obama on Newt's win: "I haven't been this happy since we smoked bin Laden."

21:08: Flipflopney has a major issue, and the longer he bullshitz us on it the faster he falls. He is very close to reaching terminal velocity, and what a thud he will make we he splatters on terra firma. The gravitational pull of tax diclosure is a bitch Mittens!

21:12: Newt's speech is being delayed as his staffers trie to find a black person to heckle him.

21:14: 78% of the SC vote in, Newt-ron-bomb still holding 13 points.

21:20: BREAKING: John King of CNN gets a French kiss from Newt-ron-bomb as Newt apologizes for his rant towards King's "almost despicable" first debate question. For certainly it pushed this big swing over flipflopney.

21:22: For information, Newt by the numbers:

84- Ethics violations
3- Wives
500,000- Amount in $ of his Tiffany's bill
1,600,000- Amount in $ earned as a lobbyist for Freddie Mac
22- Rubber checks written by Newt in the house banking scandal
300,000- Amount in $ of fines related to his 84 ethics violations

21:25: This, from a teapublican:

21:27: A sign of Gingrich's new confidence: he just changed his Facebook status to "in an open relationship."

21:28: 91 % of the vote in, still a 13 point lead by Newt-ron-bomb.

21:35: Chris Mathews so eloquently says:

"...A shameless display of individual wealth...not about economics, not about jobs. Bragging about wealth, bragging about success and not even claiming that his individual success has anything to do with creating employment for anyone else."

Speaking on Flipflopney.

21:38: Flipflopney a sore loser and rips Gingrich:

"Our party cannot be led to victory by someone who also has never run a business, and never run a state," Romney declared. "We cannot defeat [President Obama] with a candidate who has joined in that very assault on free enterprise."

"Those who pick up the weapons of the left today will find them used against them tomorrow," Romney continued, adding that Republicans who embrace such attacks aren't fit to be the nominee."

21:41: Newt-ron gives self pat on back for creating 16 million jobs under his God Ronnie, and 11 million with Clinton.

21:44: Newt railes against "anti-religion bigots elites", because nothing says "religious values" more than his marital history.

21:56  97% of the vote still no change.
22:09: Newt-ron-bombs speech was far from Presidential, just more regurgitation of Us Vs Them. Newt sounded more like Virginian Edmund Ruffin whom fired the first shot of the Civil War on Fort. Sumter than a man running for POTUS. What can we expect from future Newt-ron-bomb speeches? Just envision Michele Bachman in Newt-ron-bombs nasty pasty lard ass.

22:12: Alright readers, I'm calling it a night. Thanks for joining us, and thanks for sharing this awesome evening for the Democratic Party and President Barack Obama. This was our first "Liveblog" and it was a huge success, with a peak high 12,321 readers on at one time. High fives all around!

FAMILY GAME NIGHT

Family Game Night

Why have a boring night this evening? Its raining and snowing along the East Coast corridor, no better way to have family game night; sit around and watch the South Carolina Primary Elections with family and friends and play a little drinking game.

Will the flipflopney carry the day, give a brief victory speech and burn the hard copies of his tax returns before leaving Columbia? Will Rick Santorum bribe the electorate with fresh, slave-sewn sweater vests? Will Ron Paul, the tragic story of the political clown, fade into its final silence? Will the Eye-of- Newt eviscerate his opponents, along with a significant portion of their wives and mistresses? Only time will tell.

For us at home, it’s a great excuse to get at least moderately buzzed and bask for a few hours in the illusion that these people have no consequence in shaping our collective future whatsoever. So toast your exes, toast your distant relatives, whatever makes you feel more comfortable than Republican presidential candidates, and join the world in a game. The rules are pretty simple (for best results, make sure you have shitty rum on hand that tastes like nail polish and slides down the throat like wood stain).

During exit poll coverage:
Every time you hear family values, take a shot.

When you hear that women voted for any of them, even once, in any part of the state, take a shot and recite the Lord’s prayer.

Whenever you hear Ron Paul and young people in the same sentence, take a swig straight from the bottle, since government regulations probably had something to do with the manufacture of your glass.

During the results:
If Newt wins, take one shot for every one of his mistresses, and, if you’re still standing, make sure you have the money to get enough popcorn to last you through the primary season.

If Santorum wins, actually if Santorum wins you should just sober up and buy several pairs of long pants.

If Paul wins, drink everything alcoholic in the house, lie down, wait the next day through the hangover, make a pot or three of coffee, get on the internet, and double-check. If after that the world still says he won, start calling your friends from college (hey, if he wins, you guys can go into the newly legalized weed industry while everyone around you dies as a result of massive food shortages and lack of healthcare).

If Romney wins, take one shot to celebrate Mitt 2012’s victory and another to console Mitt 2008, who, after all, just lost.

If you have to, go out and buy double glasses. After all, these days politics is harder on the spectators than the participants.

FREAK SHOW

Teapublican Freak Show

It was a great day for progressives yesterday, as those right of center struggled to maintain sanity. It was a grab your favorite soda pop, make a big bucket of buttered popcorn, and pull up your most comfortable man chair, and sit back and watch the freaks in action.

It's really kind of sad that all the funny, mean and nasty
clowns have been eliminated from the teapublican debate. Now we're down to just the mean and nasty ones.

And the game continues.... Outwitting teapublicans is like Albert Einstein vs Pat Roberson, Mr. Spock vs Gilligan, or James Bond vs Bozo the Clown.

In case you missed the South Carolina GOP debate last night, dumping your first mistress and second wife for your second mistress and third wife is 'human,' and yet asking a question about it is 'close to despicable.' Not my words....see show below.

I bet Newt can now relate to how African Americans feel with his onslaught of welfare and food stamp association. Its funny how things come full circle.

What truly is appalling and despicable, is during yet another debate, callous teapublicans give Newt G a standing ovation, which sends a clear message to intelligent viewers, that disobedience of God's laws are acceptable - and in the "bible belt", or the land of the "Southern Baptist" to boot. This speaks well of "Gods Children" doesn't it?

Newt Grinch is a pasty white, obese, racist, who thought he had enough "man" power to have an open marriage? Really?

Newt Gingrich on the sanctity of marriage: I believe marriage should be between a man and a woman and a woman and a woman and a woman and a woman....... You would tend to believe with Newt's open marriage theory, and or policy if you will, came from reading Flipflopney's bible, which is titled, "Joseph Smith, an adulterers guide to multiple wives", which is more aptly titled "the book of Mormon" - which gives cult leaders tips on how to successfully have more than one wife and get away with it, just ask Flipflopney about his 23 grandmothers.

After the conclusion of last nights debate, NFTOS predicts that President Barack Obama just won his 18th straight GOP debate.

The appropriately named Newt Gingrich is the political personification of troglodyte. His sociopathic selfishness is the product of blind ambition driven by a reptilian lust for power and revenge.

Current TV's Keith Olbermann said last night:

"Did you notice how John King never said a word to Newt Gingrich when he came out swinging at him from the very beginning? He had an opportunity to cogently state that character was an important ingredient in a presidential candidate. After all, Newt went after Clinton for his character unabashedly (all while he was married and getting plenty on the side himself). Yet John King says nothing. He lets Newt get away with his nasty overbearing dictatorial egotistical narcissistic attitude. What a weak debate moderator he is. That is the big problem in America. It's bad enough we are living in a time of unprecedented corruption by politicians who want to parse our Constitution, dictate their morality and turn back the clock on our civil rights but having a media that wears blinders or a media that does not have the forbearance to call a spade a spade has ruined our nation. Newt Gingrich blames the media for going after him. I blame the media for waiting too long to go after ALL of them."

How convenient that God is so forgiving to teapublicans. They take it as license that they can sin against their fellow man without questioning their actions. After all, what is the incentive not to sin when all will be forgiven anyway? What a bunch of hypocrites! If that is what "teapublican Christianity" is all about, then I tell you I'd rather have nothing to do with it.

We have to re-post this quote from an earlier blog this week:

"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." ~ Mohandas Gandhi

Do you think that Gandhi had Newt in mind when saying this?

So, let me understand Newt clearly, Newt Grinch, a staunch conservative teapublican, is for marriage between a man and a woman and another woman making for an "open" marriage, but against same sex marriage as it's immoral and against God's law? Do I understand Newt correctly?

Gingrich is the only Speaker of the House in the history of the U.S. to be charged for ethics violations. He was found guilty, and forced to pay a $300,000 fine. His game plan is to call out other Americans and teapublican candidates on their lack of ethics. His baloney has a first name, its h-y-p-o-c-r-i-s-y, his baloney has second name its o-p-e-n m-a-r-r-i-a-g-e.

Spike Lee tweeted last night during the debates:

"Folks, We Gotta Rally Around President Obama Or Do You Want To Be Led Astray, Run Amok, Hornswaggled, Okey Doked, Flim Flammed or BAMBOOZLED? YO!"

Newt had been ranting all evening long on how he and the teapublican God Ronnie Reagan worked together often during Newts tenure in DC. Romney aptly placed Newt in his place by saying that poor little Newt had only received one mention in Saint Ronald's memoir, and the mention was not a positive one at that. But then again, Flipflopney thinks that if every car in America had a Reagan bobblehead on the dashboard, we'd be a more righteous and godly nation, with a thriving economy.

If the reichwing-nuts continue to push the 'beginning of life' concept back any further, men are going to have to start deducting their sperm as dependents.

Let's face it readers except for it's workers, poor, gays, blacks, Muslims, Hispanics, women, rights, laws, and Government... teapublicans love America!

I got to thinking, if Newt and Calista gain the right to occupy the house at 1600 Penn ave, would that make them First adulterer and first tramp respectively?

The Teapublican Hypocritical Oath As Presented By Eye-Of-Newt

Evidentially for teapublicans "one man, one woman" in code means, let me screw as many women as I want while I am married to you!

Newt's "Sacrament to Marriage" speech

Are you kidding me? I guess "sacrament to marriage' has multiple defintions in teapublican vernacular, one for debates, and one for the conversations in private with wife number two - when seeking approval to copulate with others while married to said wife number two.

We at NFTOS would love to hear from our teapublican pals on this one!

Holy Batshit Batman! Just Saying!

Teapublican Congress And Their Troglodytes Ignore Faux News' Facts

Yes I know this sounds like an oxymoron - facts and Faux News together as one.

Yesterday POTUS said the administration denied TransCanada's application for the $7 billion Canada-to-Texas oil sands pipeline because there was not enough time to review an alternate route that would avoid a sensitive aquifer in Nebraska -- within a 60-day window set by Congress.

Keystone seems certain to become a key issue for the coming presidential campaign, with teapublicans accusing Obama imperiling U.S. energy security. The administration rejected the attacks, arguing teapublicans inserted an unrealistic deadline in legislation in December that was designed to force Obama's hand by the end of February.

Angry congressional teapublicans voiced their displeasure over POTUS' actions to deny the pipeline project.

At the press conference, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) and other House Tepublicans blasted the Obama administration’s decision to deny new jobs to tens of thousands of Americans and surrender America’s energy security to China by rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline. Speaker Boehner pledged to continue fighting for the thousands of much-need jobs the pipeline will create - especially for those hit hardest by the Obama administration’s disastrous economic policies.

What I find most disturbing is that according to Mediaite, an overwhelming amount of teapublcians follow Faux News and Faux News only. If this is the case, what the hell are congressional teapublicans watching?
"Poll results bear that 73% of self-identified Republicans said they trusted only Faux News."

So a funny thing happened on the way to forum this morning - a very good friend submitted to me a story from Faux News. After several hours of research the writer has it right!

Directly from the horses mouth, Faux News writer Sally Kohn writes:
"In reality, the president was resisting an artificial deadline from Republicans trying to force his hand."
"But the fact is, for the good of our country and our economy, rejecting the Keystone XL deal was the best decision possible."

Kohn goes on to say:
.....why the pipeline was a bad deal for America and why it deserved to be rejected".
Instead of claiming timeline fouls, POTUS and the administration should have given the below facts, which would have solidified the nail in the coffin - ensuring that the talking heads of congress had little reverberation or little ripple effect in the Keystone pond.

Keystone XL Would Not Reduce Foreign Oil Dependency
The oil to be sent through Keystone XL pipeline was never destined for US markets. In its own presentation to investors about the proposed pipeline extension, TransCanada (the company behind Keystone XL) boasted that most if not all of the extracted and refined oil would be exported --- sold in oversees markets where oil fetches a higher price (and thus turns a higher profit for the company).

Keystone XL Would Have Increased Domestic Oil Prices
Currently, Canadian oil reserves stored in the Midwest help suppress gas prices in the United States, particularly for farmers in our nation’s heartland. In its permit application for the pipeline, TransCanada noted that the Keystone XL pipeline would allow the company to drain these reserves and export that fuel as well. According to TransCanada’s own statements, this would raise gas prices in the United States, especially in the Midwest.

Keystone XL Overstated Number of Jobs to be Created
In 2008, TransCanada’s original permit application to the State Department said the Keystone XL pipeline would create “a peak workforce of approximately 3,500 to 4,200 construction personnel” in temporary jobs building the pipeline.

By 2011, now facing growing opposition to the pipeline, TransCanada had inflated these numbers (using undisclosed formulas) to 20,000. Supporters of the proposal, backed by big oil, have since trumpeted these trumped up numbers.

Current Keystone Pipeline Leaked 12 Times in Last Year
The pipeline that the Obama administration has rejected the permit for would be an extension of a pipeline that has already leaked -- not just once, but 12 times in the last year.

While TransCanada tried to dismiss these leaks as “minor” averaging “just five to 10 gallons of oil” each, the leak on May 7, 2011 near Millner, N.D., spilled about 21,000 gallons of oil in total.

The Environmental Concerns About Oil Leaks Are Justified
Nebraska’s Republican Governor Dave Heineman strongly opposed the Keystone XL project because the pipeline would run through a massive and vital aquifer in his state the supplies clean drinking water to over 2 million Americans plus water that fuels the region’s agriculture industry.

Building the pipeline might have created a few thousand temporary jobs but even a minor oil spill in or near the aquifer would have jeopardized hundreds of thousands of jobs, not to mention the health and safety of millions.

Meanwhile, in Michigan where a similar tar sands pipeline spilled over 840,000 gallons of crude oil into the Kalamazoo River in 2010, residents are still complaining of headaches, dizziness and nausea while studies continue to look at the long-term effects of just being near such an oil spill when it happens.

Mining Tar Sands Would Worsen Global Warming

Assuming you believe, like the vast majority of the world’s scientists, that climate change is both real and of concern, the Canadian tar sands are the second largest carbon reserve in the world.

Mining these reserves would release all of that carbon into the atmosphere, to detrimental effect on our environment. Sure, Canada might go ahead and mine the tar sands anyway, but the United States doesn’t have to help pollute the planet and our own states in the process.

Many disturbing factors exist here. No matter how you look at it, the Keystone XL proposal was a scam of a deal. John Boehner and his fellow banshees are under pressure to create one job, to which they will throw any bogus sham at their troglodytes to ensure their job creation success.

Its evident that congressional teapublcians are not a collection of the 73% following Faux News, or maybe better yet, facts just elude this radical group when it stares them in the face.

Quoting an editorial in the Chicago Tribune:

"The problem is, Keystone should be approved. This is a good project. It will give us energy and give us jobs. You want stimulus? This is a $7 billion deal to be done with private-sector funding."

Readers, I have always said that "a mind is a terrible thing to waste", especially when ideological talking points outweigh the facts.

This is what happens when humans as a society fail to think for themselves.

If you watch the below video one wonders if Ms. Kohn actually works for Faux News.

I applaud Ms. Kohn for credit due, its just a shame that her facts fell on deaf ears. In hindsight I would imagine that Ms. Kohn is unemployed by Roger Ailes for giving facts and for being 'fair and balanced"!

We Didn't Start It, But We Are Going To Finish It!

Scott "Koch Whore" Walker in better times

UPDATE: 1/17/12 1621 Wisconsinities prove they are pissed off and tired of Walker - over one million signatures collected.

With the deadline looming ever so close, Wisconsinites will today jump-start the process of removing the nation's most notorious anti-labor governor when they submit petitions signed by more than enough eligible voters to force Scott Walker to face a new election.

A total of 540,208 valid signatures are required to recall Scott Walker, the Republican governor, who was elected in 2010. The chairman of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin said Monday night that the recall drive would "hit or exceed 720,000 signatures." And there were media reports that the total number of submitted signatures may exceed 1 million.

If that is the scenario, the movement to oust Walker will have secured the support of a higher percentage of eligible voters than has ever before sought to recall an American governor.

Today the petitions get turned in to the nonpartisan Government Accountability Board (the only state agency Scott Walker doesn't control with an appointee). At the end of the day, the number of signatures is irrelevant - rest assure there will be more than enough signatures to survive the relentless teapublican challenges that both Wisconsinites and America expects.

What does this message say to current and future teabagging Govna's you ask? Not on my watch, enough is enough, do we have your attention yet Govna? Walker's reach for power will end sometime this summer. Today I can honestly say that Scott Walker's effort to reshape the balance of power in Wisconsin began and shall ended with his initiative to yank collective-bargaining rights away from public-employee unions.

Wisconsin's recall drive is already the greatest popular democracy movement in it's history, and one of the greatest challenges to political power in American history.

Why should Scotty get the boot?

ATTACK ON WORKING FAMILIES:
Didn’t campaign on the elimination of collective bargaining rights and then terminated collective bargaining for public employees, ending more than fifty years of bipartisan support and dividing the state.

ATTACK ON WOMEN’S REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS:
Signed legislation to eliminate programs for cancer screening, STD treatment, birth control and reproductive health support.

ATTACK ON EDUCATION AND SCHOOLS:
Nearly a billion dollars in cuts to education with restrictions on how school districts can make up for the cutbacks and programs.

ATTACK ON INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS:
By rejecting $810 million in stimulus funds for the Madison-Milwaukee train, thousands of jobs were lost and taxpayers have to pay for contracts that were cancelled due to careless incompetence.

ATTACK ON THE ENVIRONMENT:
Signed legislation repealing clean water testing, cut alternative energy programs using biomass and wind power that lost thousands of jobs.

ATTACK ON DEMOCRACY AND VOTERS RIGHTS:
Signed legislation for the most restrictive Voter ID law in the US based on unproven Faux News/Republican myth of voter fraud.

Walker has always has a "sense of mission" says his mother, but Walker's sense of mission has often brought controversy in his adult life, as when he ran for student body president as a sophomore at Marquette University in 1988. He was sanctioned for illegal campaigning and declared "unfit" by the student paper for engaging in "blatant mudslinging" against his opponent. Walker lost that election, which he later blamed on his having "focused on personalities and egos." He left Marquette without getting a degree. No surprise here!

All throughout Walker's career his boldness has brought him into turbulent waters, and the great white sharks (Wisconsin and American Democrats) are rabidly seeking a piece of this mans posterior - rightly so, for the vision of a this radical teabagger has gone completely awry, and its time to wrangle in this Reagan wannabe.

The infamous "Koch Whores" Call:

Walker's critics uniformly cite his Feb. 22 2011 phone conversation with a prankster pretending to be billionaire David Koch as the key to understanding what drives him. Below is by far the biggest 'punked" of our time!

In that call, which was secretly recorded and posted on the Internet, Walker crowed about his national media appearances and the positive feedback he said he was getting from other Republican governors, who, like him, "got elected to do something big."

Walker also shared with his caller how, just before he "dropped the bomb" on the state's public employees, he met with his cabinet and pulled out a picture of Ronald Reagan, recalling how the former president had fired air traffic controllers in 1981 — an event he claimed sent a message of toughness that helped spur the collapse of the Soviet Union. Walker recalled telling his cabinet that what he was planning to do in Wisconsin would be comparably historic.

Usually reluctant to concede error, Walker now confesses to being embarrassed by the "Koch Whore" call. No shit Sherlock! Political suicide sounds more apropos.

Like most teapublcians, I say Scotty is drawn to conflict with his "Us vs. Them" dichotomy.
"He has sort of a messiah complex," says state Sen. Mark Miller, D-Monona. "The governor feels like he's on some sort of a divine mission." Insert "republican Jesus" here.
NFTOS' biggest criticism of Walker is that he fudges facts — not only in his public pronouncements, but in his own mind.

Walker has said the state is broke, that most of the protesters who besieged the Capitol last spring were from out of state, that most school districts in Wisconsin have seen a net gain in staff. These are among the 27 statements he's made that the collaborative journalism project PolitiFact Wisconsin has deemed "Mostly False," "False" or, worse, "Pants on Fire."

"What he says isn't true," says state Sen. Jon Erpenbach, D-Middleton, who is also weighing a possible challenge against Walker. "I don't think he's intentionally lying. He just believes what is not true."
Erpenbach goes on to say: "I've never seen anybody in such denial" as is Walker on the division he's sown. "We're in a spot right now where family members can't talk to each other. Golf buddies can't talk to each other. The governor needs to recognize that we've got to pull things back, and he doesn't."
Well readers, make no mistake about it, denial or not, over 700 thousand signatures will be submitted today for scrutiny. Today organizers will be unloading the stacks of petitions, weighing 3,000 pounds, from a truck and hauling them into the state election board's offices, a state ready to say, "We didn't start it, but we are going to finish it"!

Talk About A Slap In The Face

Republican Jesus Told Me So!

On the day we remember a leader of peace, Romney campaigns with white supremacist!

You can't make this stuff up. Really Flipflopney, your spending MLK Day by campaigning with a white supremacist? Teapublicans really do want Obama to win in 2012, don't they?

See the entire story here.

Teapublicans, Christianity, and Jesus

Republican Jesus
Teapublicans, Christianity, and Jesus. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, and why is that you ask? Because it is one!

With the onslaught of "Christian Televangelists" in the "Palmetto" state seeking to find a radical candidate to endorse for President - I got to thinking about the right, Christianity, and Jesus.

Mohandas Gandhi is quoted as saying :
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."

Gandhi must have been thinking about teapublicans when he made this statement! During the debates we have heard both candidates and voters emit non-Christian like actions.

I ask you readers, when did:

Christ hate Blacks?
Christ hate Mexicans?
Christ start advocating for the (1%) and stop advocating for the poor?
Christ cheer for the ill whom couldn't afford healthcare and encourage their death?
Christ stop advocating for all humans and start advocating for just the reichwing persuasion?

When did Christianity abort the "The New Colossus" poem by Emma Lazarus which says:

"Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless,
tempest-tost to me".....

Christ advocate, "GUNS, GREED, HYPOCRISY"?

He didn't, and thats the point!

In a September 1994 plenary speech to the Christian Coalition national convention, Rev. D. James Kennedy said that "true Christian citizenship" involves an active engagement in society to "take dominion over all things as vice-regents of God." Kennedy's remarks were reported in February 1995 by sociologist and journalist Sara Diamond, who wrote that Kennedy had "echoed the Reconstructionist line."

More than anyone else, it was Sara Diamond who popularized the term "dominionism," using it to describe a growing political tendency in the Christian Right.

This highly politicized concept of dominionism is based on the Bible's text in Genesis 1:26:

Put simply, Dominionism means that Christians have a God-given right to rule all earthly institutions. Originating among some of America’s most radical theocrats, it’s long had an influence on religious-right education and political organizing. But because it seems so outré, getting ordinary people to take it seriously can be difficult.

So, to celebrate a true Christian - Martin Luther King Jr, we give you.

Republican Jesus’ Ten Commandments

And Lo, did Republican Jesus come down among the masses and holding his tablet PC, did he give unto his disciples the NEW (and improved) Ten Commandments. “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Socialism, out of the house of Communism.”

1. You shall have no other gods before me, especially that terrorist monkey god, Mohammed.

2. You shall not make for yourself any carved image; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them except for the Holy Benjamins. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting poverty of the fathers on the children of those (as in those people) who hate me, but showering material riches unto thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. Also, you shall have guns. All you want.

3. You shall not take the name of your God, Ronald Reagan, in vain, for the Lord will hold him guiltless of treason and malfeasance.

4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. If you are a CEO of a Fortune 500 company, six days you shall labor and do all your work, that should just about do it for the year, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor the stranger who is within your country illegally unless they are off the books then they shall work all seven days without respite. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, including dinosaur bones and rested the seventh day.

5. Honor your father and your mother by ensuring that they keep their Social Security even as you shall taketh it away from all others.

6. You shall not murder unless they are Muslim. Or gay. Or abortion doctors. Or government workers. Or black. Or whatever group is currently out of favor with mine chosen White (not white, White) People.

7. You shall not commit adultery and get caught during an election year.

8. You shall not steal unless it’s from the workers’ pensions.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. Just kidding, Mr. Beck.

10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s. Instead, you shall go forth and buy these things for yourself on credit and keep the “too big to fail” banks happy.

MITT THE RIPPER

Colbert super PAC airing ‘Mitt the Ripper’ ad in South Carolina. Narrated by John Lithgow.

It’s been less than four days since Colbert Super PAC changed hands from comedian Stephen Colbert to his colleague Jon Stewart and was renamed the Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC. Political analysts were wondering how long it would take for the new PAC to start airing ads in South Carolina. Well, wonder no more, because a new ad from the PAC targets Mitt Romney over his “corporations are people” comment.

Dana Loesch , Open Mouth, Insert Foot

Reichwing Radical Dana "foot-in mouth" Loesch

UPDATE: Since writing this blog early this am, and after the onslaught of angry CNN viewers complaining too CNN about Loesch - she has now posted a redaction or twist on her blog "backstroking" her way to continued CNN employment. What a tool!

BACKGROUND: I have done many blogs on "dear Dana". From the annuls/archives/vault of NFTOS, my favorite quote to Loesch via an email from photographer Steven Treusdell:
Our researchers came up with this quote from a left wing friend of Loesch's (which honesty astonishes the bloggers of NFTOS that she has Democratic pals). Quoting photographer Steven Treusdell who has no problem calling out dear Dana... "You have the character of a hate radio DJ down pat," Truesdell wrote in an e-mail to Loesch in October. "Your continued rise in this arena will be fun to watch. You have the aggression, the looks, and the vocab to go far in 'Hate broadcasting' and right wing idolatry. Do be careful though, one day the outrage you urge in others will turn to violence and innocent people will die in your name. This is assured. That is a lot to live with, even when one has Religious righteousness and a fervent belief in their absolute rightness. I hope when that day comes you can live with the results of what you have sown."

CNN political contributor and Editor-in-Chief of Big Journalism Dana Loesch came out in support of the video showing US Marines urinating on the corpses of Taliban fighters during her radio show Thursday on FM News Talk 97.1.

From Loesch's radio show:
“Now we have a bunch of progressives that are talking smack about our military because there were marines caught urinating on corpses, Taliban corpses,” Loesch opined. “Can someone explain to me if there’s supposed to be a scandal that someone pees on the corpse of a Taliban fighter? Someone who, as part of an organization, murdered over 3,000 Americans? I’d drop trou and do it too. That’s me though. I want a million cool points for these guys. Is that harsh to say? Come on people, this is a war. What do people think this is?”

The Marine Corps previously had released a statement condemning the solider’s actions as “egregious, disgusting behavior.”

From CNN:
"I have seen the footage, and I find the behavior depicted in it utterly deplorable," U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said in a statement. "I condemn it in the strongest possible terms."

Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Amos said in a statement the behavior is "wholly inconsistent with the high standards of conduct and warrior ethos that we have demonstrated throughout our history."

Lt. Gen. Adrian Bradshaw, deputy commander of ISAF, called the actions on the video "disgusting."

"Any acts which treat the dead, enemy or friendly, with disrespect are utterly unacceptable and do not represent the standards we expect of coalition forces," Bradshaw said in a video statement. He said he was speaking on behalf of Allen, who is out of the country.

"It is difficult to say what long-term impacts this might have, and I would hesitate to get into speculation, but obviously any sort of footage, any sort of activity of this kind that is grossly against all the moral values that the coalition forces are standing for are very much working against our cause and against everything that we are standing for and that we are here for," said Brig. Gen. Carsten Jacobson, a NATO ISAF spokesman.

Well like most chicken hawks, Loesch has never dawned a uniform to defend her county. Dana's idea of service to country encompasses screaming at courthouse lawns with megaphones in tow.

Loesch's  comments put the talk radio host out on the fringe where even Rush Limbaugh won't go. RUSH LIMBAUGH -- responded to the video by saying there is "no defense of this".

I say, "finding a fringe where even Rush Limbaugh won't go is pretty extreme"...

When I first started my media firm - it was Loesch whom stirred the blogger in me. Two years ago there was a plethora of youtube videos showing Loesch in many radical moments spitting into the megaphone, apparently she has had most of them pulled, and rightly so as they painted a ungodly picture of Miss Dana.

NFTOS has challenged CNN often with regards to their hiring of Loesch as a "political commentator". Hopefully this final stage of foot in mouth disease gets Loesch what she so rightly deserves, a ticket back to Andy Breitbart office as his reichwing " 'big journelisms" goto girl.

Lessons learned: If your going to piss on dead enemies, don't video it and post to youtube, but most importantly, don't come out on "conservative" talk radio condoning or giving the green light too this action -for you endanger many thousands of boots in the theater of war with such incendiary blather.

The most powerful man in the world (for now…Palin in 2012!), deserving of our respect and admiration and love and full support during a time of war. 2. A secret Muslim foreigner terrorist sympathizer that is out to kill you and all you hold dear. It depends on who we are talking about. See O.

Q is for questions. Never ask any. Ever. About anything.

S(1) is for Sarah Palin. Sister Sarah symbolizes strength, serenity, sweetness and street smarts. She supports several serious stances on society’s struggles. Which ones? All potential interviewers please see Q.

S(2) is for Science which is Satan’s tool. Again, please see Q.

U is for Us vs. Them.

V is for Voting. Voting is a God given right that we would NEVER think of interfering with by gerrymandering Congressional districts, underfunding voting machines in low income areas, mailing fliers to African Americans with false information, using robo-call centers to convince Hispanics to not vote in protest or anything else you can think of. If you do think of anything else, whatever you do, please don’t suggest it to your local GOP campaign headquarters. (1-800-drty-trk)

W is for Wealth redistribution. What goes up must never come down. That would be class warfare!

X is for Xenophobia (courtesy of Chuck Hutchings). “HELLO? WHICH. WAY. TO. THE. BATHROOM? EL BANO? DO. YOU. SPEAK. AMERICAN? Good lord, I hate Canada!”

Z is for Zero accountability (courtesy of Dave Mann). Words are completely powerless. If words had ANY kind of power at all, our Founding Fathers would have used them to declare our independence or elevated them to first among our rights. So stop blaming every death threat, attempted assassination, anti-government militia and shooting spree on us. It was an isolated incident. They all isolated incidents! See I(2)

How To Kill Your Wife And Get A Pardon

UPDATE: 1/12/12 15:47 One of the people Governor Barbour pardoned for felony DUI was having his parole revoked -- after a new arrest for felony DUI, in a crash where a teenager died. Governor Barbour, meanwhile, is off to work as a lobbyist and for a law firm.

UPDATE BREAKING 1/11/12 20:38: Mississippi judge blocks release of pardoned prisoners.

Haley "Pardon Me" Barbour

Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour (Yes the one and same who wouldn't denounce Mississippi KKK leader License plates) has left office, but not before creating more damage than all the disasters combined in 2011. Of course when out going teapublican Governors leave office, it means it’s time to issue pardons. Unfortunately for the teapublican party, Haley Barbour has further befouled an already tarnished image of his radical political party. In the days leading up to his departure from the Governor’s Mansion, teapublican Haley Barbour surprised the world by granting more than 200 pardons, clemency or early release for people convicted of crimes including murder, rape and armed robbery.

Barbour's "How To Kill Your Wife And Get A Pardon" list below:

David Gatlin (wife killer)

Joseph Ozment

Anthony McCray (Wife Killer)

Michael David Graham (wife killer)

Clarence Jones (girlfriend killer)

Paul Joseph “Jody” Warnock (girlfriend killer)

Bobby Hays Clark (girlfriend killer)

Among the killers Barbour pardoned includes Anthony McCray who shot his wife in the back after an argument in a cafe in 2001, depriving a 3 year old daughter and 9 year old son of their mother. Another murderer, Joseph Ozment, robbed a store with several accomplices in 1994. He put a gun to a man’s head and executed him with two point blank shots after the man had already been wounded and could do nothing more than crawl on the ground seeking help. A third killer, Charles Hooker, was sentenced to life in prison in 1992. The fourth killer, David Gatlin, shot and killed his estranged wife while she was holding their baby.

Clearly none of these men deserve a pardon. Yet Haley Barbour freed them nonetheless - even though Gatlin had been denied parole just months earlier. The teapublican party in Mississippi has apparently adjudicated to stand on the side of killers. Of course, Barbour isn’t the first teapublican to pardon a dangerous and undeserving criminal. During his time as Governor of Arkansas, Mike Huckabee pardoned many convicted criminals throughout his tenure including suspected cop killer Maurice Clemmons, who later went on a cop killing spree in Washington state.

This is a most heinous and unacceptable way for any human to "Govern", but tepublicans make it a disturbing pattern, a pattern of very bad judgment, a pattern of bad taste, and more importantly, a pattern of callous, uncouth, and uncultivated evilness!

Its amazing how they salivate over executing innocent prisoners, and are willing to imprison innocent people in private prisons for the sake of profit, and yet they willingly free the Aleister Crowley's of our country.

Teapublicans also want to imprison doctors who perform abortions, and women who choose to have them. NFTOS has said for two years that teapublicans are of the biggest hypocrites to troll the earth. Their ideology says a doctor who provides an abortion is a murderer who should be sentenced to life in prison or murdered by a gun toting radical southern militia, or better yet, executed. But a man who shoots his wife in the back, and a man who kills his estranged wife while she’s holding her baby, well they should be pardoned and forgiven. This is the problem with those right of center circa 2012!

What does it say about the likes of these people, when they glorify and approve violence against women and helpless people? This kind of deranged logic is infuriating, maniacal, psychopathic, and just down right demented!

This blog truly shows how deplorable, wicked and vicious the teabagger party has become.

"Executive privilege" - Maybe it's time to revoke "The Pardon Before Leaving Office" privilege for Governors

Speaking Of WTF Moments "Do as I Say...Not As I Do!

Whoever dreamed up the phrase "An Elephant Never Forgets" must have had end stage Alzheimer's!

Two former "torture" lawyers to George W. Bush agree that POTUS is mad with power.

President Barack Obama has finally done something that makes even the Bush administration attorneys who helped craft the legal rationales for torture, warrantless wiretapping, and indefinite detention tremble with fear: Last week, he made recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Quotes below sourced by "motherjones".

"David Addington, the former legal counsel to then-Vice President Dick Cheney who helped construct the legal justifications for Bush-era torture policies, argued the president had the "inherent" authority to ignore federal law when spying on American citizens, and put forth the novel view that the vice president's office is not a part of the executive branch and therefore not subject to congressional oversight, told the New York Times that Obama's recess appointments were "flabbergasting and, to be honest, a little chilling."
"John Yoo, the former attorney with the Bush-era Office of Legal Counsel who suggested the president could order a child's testicles crushed, massacre a village of civilians or unilaterally suspend free speech in the event of a terrorist attack, also fears for the future of the republic if the president is able to bypass Senate procedural gimmicks meant to block recess appointments. At National Review, Yoo attacks Obama for his "abuse" of executive power in appointing Richard Cordray to head the CFPB."

David Addington

As counsel to the Vice President, Addington's duties involved protecting the purported legal interests of the Office of the Vice President, despite the only duties actually given the U.S. Vice President under the United States Constitution are to be first in line to succeed the President in the event of his or her death, or a statutorily-defined inability to effectively discharge the powers of the office, and to be the presiding officer of the United States Senate, with the duty to cast a deciding vote in that body in the event of any tie votes among the members of the Senate itself.

Addington, known as the The "invisible hand" served as the ramrod driving the Bush administration's most secretive and controversial counterterrorism measures through the bureaucracy. David Addington was a key advocate of the Brown v. Board and more than 750 other signing statements the administration has issued since taking office--a record that far outstrips that of any other president.

Quoting NFTOS Edito-In-Chief Roger West:

"Name one significant action taken by the Bush White House after 9/11, and chances are better than ever that Addington had a role in it. In national security circles, Addington was viewed as such a force of nature that one former government lawyer nicknamed him "Keyser Soze," after the ruthless crime boss in the thriller The Usual Suspects. "

Perhaps David Addington’s greatest objective throughout his service with the U.S. government has been the vast expansion of executive power that has enabled the governmental infraction of human rights. With a 20 year career history in national security, Addington has helped profile the Bush administration’s strategy in the war on terror including a narrow interpretation of the U.S. Constitution and a stalwart belief that the powers of the presidency are the only solution to national security-the administration’s default excuse for the use of persecution and other war crimes. This has entailed a very broad interpretation of U.S. law prohibiting torture, allowing the president to override or ignore laws put in place to criminalize the act. This became especially germane following the 9/11 attacks, evidenced by an Office of Legal Council opinion disallowing Congress to place any limits upon the president’s response to terrorist threats, essentially handing the president unlimited powers.

NFTOS Editor-In-Chief West goes on to say:

"Addington was the "vice president's point man". Cheney tried to increase executive power with a series of bold actions -- some so audacious that even conservatives on the Supreme Court sympathetic to Cheney's view had rejected them as overreaching."

International War Crimes: In March 2009 Baltasar Garzón, a Spanish judge who has considered international war crimes charges against other high-profile figures, considered whether to allow charges made by Gonzalo Boye, a lawyer who once defended MIR and ETA, to be laid against Addington and five other former officials of the George W. Bush Presidency. Judge Garzon did not dismiss the complaint, but instead ordered the complaint assigned by lottery to another judge, who will then decide whether to pursue the complaint or not. Spanish Attorney General Candido Conde-Pumpido "strongly criticized" the proceedings, labeling them a legal "artifice." Pumpido recommended against prosecution due to lack of material responsibility on the part of the American officials.

John Yoo

John Yoo is an American attorney, law professor, and author. As a former official in the United States Department of Justice during the George W. Bush administration, he became known as the author of the Torture Memos on the use of what the CIA called enhanced interrogation techniques.

Regarding torture of detainees and children of detainees: After he left the Department of Justice, it was revealed that Yoo had authored memos, including co-authoring the Torture Memo of August 1, 2002, defining torture and American habeas corpus obligations narrowly. In addition, a new definition of torture was issued. Most actions that fall under the international definition do not fall within this new definition advocated by the U.S. Several top military lawyers, including Alberto J. Mora, reported that policies allowing methods equivalent to torture were officially handed down from the highest levels of the administration, and led an effort within the Department of Defense to put a stop to those policies and instead mandate non-coercive interrogation standards.

Regarding the Fourth amendment: Yes teapublicans there are more than two amendments.Yoo also authored the October 23, 2001 memo asserting that the President had sufficient power to allow the NSA to monitor the communications of US citizens on US soil without a warrant because the fourth amendment does not apply. Or, as another memo says in one of its footnotes, "Our office recently concluded that the Fourth Amendment had no application to domestic military operations." That interpretation is used to assert that the normal mandatory requirement of a warrant, under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, could be ignored.

Unitary executive theory: Yoo suggested that since the primary task of the President during a time of war is protecting US citizens, the President has inherent authority to subordinate independent government agencies, and plenary power to use force abroad. Yoo contends that the Congressional check on Presidential war making power comes from its power of the purse, and that the President, and not the Congress or courts, has sole authority to interpret international treaties such as the Geneva Conventions "because treaty interpretation is a key feature of the conduct of foreign affairs". His positions on executive power are controversial because the theory can be interpreted as holding that the President's war powers place him above any law.

But the sad thing is, John Yoo and David Addington are not good people to make these arguments. Watching two men who argued for years that the president could pick and choose which laws to follow and then have them complaining over Obama's recess appointments as an abuse of power is so absurd that one practically has to reach far into fiction land to find parallel analogies. If we could only get Lex Luthor's feelings on financial regulation or Emperor Palpatine's thoughts on the importance of checks and balances.

"Do as I say not as I do" comes to mind, "pot and kettle" also enters the grey matter as well, but overwhelmingly, hypocrites seems to be the best fit here!
